Good food, great service! The waitress Maral was super friendly and gave us competent advice. Your recommendations were spot on. The price is a bit high, but appropriate for the quality. Overall, a successful evening at the Maredo Münster.

Table reserved for 6 people on a Saturday for the same day, received information immediately. I would warn you that Maredo is very popular, so it's best to reserve a table as early as possible, we were lucky. The service was super nice and also clarified questions (what this "hot stone" was all about, it said that you can then cook your own steak yourself, what was actually meant by that was that the steak would be served medium rare, for example). you can let it cook even further if you want). The steak sauce was missing from my order (it has its own bowl, steak and sauce are separate), but it was brought over quickly (maybe a 1 minute wait). The ambience was nice and there was enough space to sit, but it felt a bit like you were cramped. But everything else was great, I've rarely had such a good steak, I'll definitely stop by again.

The food tastes very good and is definitely worth recommending. The ambience, on the other hand, was okay, so nothing good and nothing bad. The prices are also reasonable and the homemade cocktails are also very tasty.

So everything in itself is great. Also when I asked if my steak could be grilled again. Was this done with a friendly Na of course. But you had to wait longer for the bill even though the restaurant wasn't full. But otherwise there is nothing to complain about. Nice evening

2024 Part 2: You should still give it a chance. I was there alone today and I have to say I was thrilled. For me, Maredo Münster has (again) reached the old first-class level, in some places it has even gotten better: salads are even fresher and cleaner, Belgian fries are simply world-class, (the best fries in Münster!) Wagyu carpaccio is extremely fine, and for dessert The chocolate cake with a liquid center and Skyr ice cream was excellent, as was the Metzger Weißburgunder Pastorenstück. The overall wine selection is also much better than it used to be, although the prices for steaks, side dishes and wine have also risen dramatically. We know this from everywhere, but now at Maredo you pay €35 for the meat for a medium-sized ribeye steak weighing 350g plus €10 for the side dishes and €6 for the salad, a whopping €50 for a main course - that's it Previously only the case in upscale private restaurants, such as in the Delta Bistro at the Delta Fleischgrosshandel on the Schanze in Hamburg or in Hohoffs 800 Grad in Dortmund. Nevertheless, the quality and freshness, selection of dishes as well as preparation, ambience and the extremely friendly service are completely convincing. If you didn't know, you wouldn't think it was a system restaurant. Simply great! 2024: Unfortunately, I recently had an extremely unpleasant experience: I stood in the entrance area with my family and two six-year-olds for around 10 minutes without being given one of the free tables. We even suggested sitting at a small table for two. There were at least six free tables of 4 to 8 people in the back area. But we weren't allowed to take any of them, we had to go through a complicated consultation first. Since the restaurant was otherwise completely full, it took a long time. The friendly greeting and the nice speech were simply missing, I had the feeling that we were disturbing. Just can't be. I'm having a hard time thinking about whether I want to come back. And this despite the fact that I have been a regular guest for 25 years and have certainly eaten here over 100 times. 2019: I keep coming to the conclusion: Maredo is the best restaurant chain I know, and has been for years. This restaurant in Münster is not least to blame for this, from the quality and freshness of the products to the service and the personal and friendly approach to the fulfillment of special requests and the speed of food preparation as well as the atmosphere of the rooms and the price-performance ratio It's hard to top that, especially since you can basically go to a Maredo in any city and - until midnight, sometimes even until 1am! - very reliably always maintains the same high quality and the same taste style. 1 A! 2023: Still (and also with a few new faces) an excellent service team, friendlier, more approachable and better than that! I had dinner at Maredo Münster today with my husband and little daughter and it was great! You were immediately greeted warmly and the little one was taken care of straight away and a children's chair was put there. The food was also very, very tasty and can only be recommended

I've been there twice now and had a burger both times. Very tasty and I can highly recommend the sweet potato fries. The service is always very friendly and attentive. If you want to spend a good evening, you're in good hands here. I've also tried the steaks twice now and both times they were on point and very tasty! 😊

The food was excellent and we all enjoyed it. Unfortunately, the service today on Sunday was not friendly and treated you that way. If there is another service we will definitely come here again.

The prices are quite steep. My spare ribs were dry and the marinade wasn't my thing at all. Unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Delicious food. I took the stone with my steak so that it stays nice and warm and you can cook it the way you like... the salad bar is very versatile... tasty! And the lava cake is very creamy, with a nice scoop of ice cream. The creme brulee is also very fresh. You can taste that it is well made. And the service is very attentive and fast, we really enjoyed this evening!

Very good, nice and fast. Ordered a steak on a hot stone (not normally soooo good. Crème brûlée was also home made Top service, very friendly, nice location. I'll stop now otherwise the restaurant will be too full next time 😁

Wir waren zum wiederholten male hier und es hat uns wieder sehr gut gefallen. Das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis stimmt, so wie die Qualität der Speisen und sehr nette Mitarbeiter.

Shout out to the Xenia and Sebastian. They had an extremely kind and considerate staff. The food was amazing! I had the salmon and my husband had a steak special. Both had bold flavors. Yum!!!

Yes, it is a "chain restaurant". Nevertheless, you get an excellently well-prepared steak and delicious side dishes. The service was above average in my opinion. Apparently this restaurant doesn't suffer from a skills shortage or they pay decent wages. Both are enjoyable!

Um die Mittagszeit war das Lokal nur schwach besucht. Die Bedienung war freundlich, das Essen kam schnell und war lecker.

Waren schon lange nicht mehr bei Maredo. Immer noch tolles Fleisch und eine Salatbar mit viel Auswahl. Bei den Folienkartoffeln wären Röstzwiebeln noch besser. Service total aufmerksam aber unaufdringlich und sehr nett. Wir kommen wieder.

We were here again at Maredo for lunch, the last time was a long time ago. So far we have always been satisfied, unfortunately not this time. The service was okay, there were only 6 guests in the restaurant with us, so no stress in sight. My wife had the daily special of 3 types of meat with fries and salad. I had 450g spear ribs with fries and coleslaw. The ribs were dry and tasted old like leftovers from the day before. The meat on my wife's plate was also dry. The price for ribs with fries almost 28€. A joke. It was much better here. The last visit here for us.

The food was disappointing for a steakhouse. We had the grill plate for 2 people, which was supposed to have 4 types of meat on it. We only had 3. The chicken was bone dry, the pork was so tough it was hard to chew. The beef was good. The regular fries were unseasoned and the vegetables were mostly onions. Service was friendly, but unfortunately had body scent… The ambience was very loud, so it was difficult to understand the other person.

If you want to eat good steak, you can't go wrong here! Service: great! Food: delicious! Value for money: good We were all very satisfied. All plates were completely empty. My burger was well fried, taste was great. My highlight was the smoked paprika dip. The portions were large enough, but we had way too much of the herb butter. Overall it was a good visit! 👍

They have the most delicious salad buffet than anywhere!! Unfortunately we don't have that in the Netherlands, where the salad buffet is usually disappointing. What I think is a shame is that they no longer have chicken wings. Maredo: put chicken wings back on the menu. I have now had steak tips with my salad, but unfortunately I found them mediocre. They weren't as tender as I had hoped. But other than that, Maredo remains my favorite restaurant when it comes to salads

A reallt great place. The interior is very nice and cost. The service was quick, smiling personnel and the food was incredible. We took the plate for 2, priced in the 50€, quantity was perfect too. Note there's no cocktail, but their tea based drinks are very good.

The service staff were very nice. Unfortunately, the food, especially the gourmet skewer, was not enough. 4 pieces of meat with 2 onion skins and 2 tiny pieces of pepper plus 2 small cold cherry tomatoes with a very long cooked baked potato is simply too little for €26.90 for such a restaurant. The grill plate for €20.90 was okay but nothing special. Another extra: The prices on the Internet currently do not correspond to the actual prices. For the prices you can eat better somewhere else!

Went to Maredo with 3 people on Saturday! Great again, just like it has been for more than ten years! Great food and great service! Anyone who complains should rather visit the Frittenbude! Keep it up!

The ribeye and the fillet were really good. The salad bar also had a good selection of sides, and the lava cake was delicious. The onion rings weren’t crispy and the fries were just alright. We would always comeback!
