Ich bewerte das Steakhouse Maredo in Mülheim an der Ruhr . - Wir hatten ein Tisch reserviert für zwei Personen - Es war genügend Platz und wir hatten freie Tisch Wahl . - Die Bedienung war freundlich und schnell . - Es konnten aber nicht alle Wünsche erfüllt werden kein (Whisky Sour) - Das Ambiente war okay Holzbänke und Stühle dazu noch laute Musik . -Die Atmosphäre war nicht entspannend . - Steak an sich war etwas über Medium wie bestellt gebraten aber alles noch im Rahmen - Das Fleisch war lecker zart und hatte einen guten Geschmack . - Der Preis war aber im Verhältnis zur Konkurrenz gut 2 Steak / ein Rib Eye 350 gr lime Limonade +filet Steak 250gr+ johannisbeer Limonade =82€ - Das ganze war in einer Einkaufspassage leider hat es sich auch so angefühlt . Ein anderer Standort wäre schön - Fleisch war sehr gut bespritzt mit Wasser so wird das Fleisch zart gehalten ich hatte nachdem essen eine Suppe auf dem Teller was nicht für die Qualität des Fleisches spricht . -Das Steak wurde ohne weitere anrichte einfach auf denTeller/Tisch gestellt ,hier hätte ich mehr erwartet. Fazit: Würde ich es empfehlen und nochmal in das Restaurant gehen . Empfehlung ja aber noch Luft nach oben

Über das Essen kann ich leider nichts schreiben, für einen Rollstuhlfahrer ist es nicht möglich das Lokal zu besuchen.

Einer unserer Lieblinge in Sachen gute Steaks und leckeren Salat. Sehr freundliches Team. Sauberes Restaurant. Parken kann ich bei euch auch super einfach. Was will man mehr 😊 Nachtrag : Hat sehr nachgelassen. Steak hat kaum Geschmack und Grillaromen. Das Salatdressing schmeckt sehr Essiglastig. Können wir leider nicht mehr empfehlen!

Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen. Für mich "ungemütlich", wie im Bahnhof. Das Auge isst bekanntlich mit. Im Maredo nicht. Lieblose Präsentation von Essen: Steak links, Pommes rechts wild verteilt - alles einfach drauf geklatscht. Das war's. Steak war geschmacklich gut. Wartezeit mehr als 1 Stunde für ein Steak mit Pommes. Als kleine Entschuldigung ging ein Getränk aufs Haus. Service freundlich. Insgesamt 2,5 Sterne von 5. Kein 2.Besuch von mir.

Waren zum 1.mal da und waren sehr begeistert. Sehr gutes Essen und auch auf spezielle Wünsche wurde eingegangen.

Nichts tolles. Fleisch ok, Ambiente in die Jahre gekommen. Preislich nicht gerechtfertigt. Leitungswasser mit Kohlensäure 0.3l 3,30€. Da nicht mehr hin.

Wir waren gestern in der Mittagszeit dort. Hatten jeder ein Steak, einmal mit Pommes und einmal mit einen Beilagensalat. Die Steaks waren gut. Der Beilagensalat wurde fertig an den Tisch gebracht. Warum gibt man nicht einen kleinen Teller und man kann sich den Salat selbst nehmen. Dad Dressing war viel zu wenig, so dass man den Salat fast trocken essen musste. Das Schlimmste war die Flasche Mineralwasser mit Kohlensäure. Es war nur aufgesprudeltes Wasser mit sehr wenig Kohlensäure. Da kann man auch gleich Leitungswasser nehmen. Schrecklich. Wir waren sehr enttäuscht und mussten zudem 47€ dafür zahlen.

Alles war super gut. Es gab nur Probleme mit der Sprache.

Es ist halt ein Maredo Steakhaus. Gute Fleischqualität, leckeres Essen und ein guter und freundlicher Service. Wer aber eine gemütliche Atmosphäre erwartet, ist hier fehl am Platz. Das ist aber halt dass Konzept von MAREDO und das ist OK so.

Ein typisches Maredo Restaurant - schade, dass es nicht mehr so viele davon gibt. Die Qualität ist seit Jahren gleichbleibend gut. Die Steaks und Saucen sind sehr lecker und man hat eine große Auswahl an verschiedenen Beilagen. Auch das Salat Buffet ist reichhaltig und lecker.

Leider nicht mehr so, wie Maredo früher. Hat alles eher Schnellrestaurant Ambiente zu hohen Preisen. Essen war okay.

Das Essen war gut uns gefiel die Atmosphäre nicht,aber das ist meine Auffassung.

Das Rindergeschnetzelte mit Pilz Soße war richtig gut, tolles Fleisch. Pommes lecker, insgesamt sehr zufrieden.

Das Essen ist super lecker und frisch. Wir sind hier noch nie enttäuscht worden. Jedes Mal wenn wir hier sind sind wir begeistert von der Auswahl den Angeboten auch die Suppen sind sehr schmackhaft zudem sättigend und super lecker Besonders hervorheben möchten wir Beba, sie ist einfach nur herzlich, aufmerksam und stets daran interessiert dem Gast den Aufenthalt schön zu gestalten. Ein weiterer Grund regelmäßig wiederzukommen 🥰 Wir sagen von Herzen Dankeschön und freuen uns auf das nächste Mal 🥰

Immer wieder gerne zu Gast bei einem sehr netten Personal und einer guten Küche.

Das Essen war gut, aber nicht günstig. Obwohl wir von der Mittagskarte bestellten kamen wir, mit Getränken auf über 50€. Die Steaks waren gut und übersichtlich. Beim bezahlen gab es ein Problem, weil wir Artikel vom Nachbartisch auf unserer Rechnung hatten. Eine Entschuldigung und eine Rückerstattung gab es zum Abschluss.

Wer Fleisch gerne isst, ist hier sicherlich gut aufgehoben

Essen war gut, aber leider das Ambiente nicht so

Wir waren schon öfter hier und sind immer zufrieden. Nettes Personal und gutes Essen. Das Fleisch ist immer perfekt zubereitet.

Da unser Stammrestaurant Maredo in Essen aufgrund der Corona-Pandemie leider geschlossen hatte, war dies unser erster, und unmittelbar darauf folgender zweiter, Besuch im Nu in Mulhouse. Und die Tatsache, dass wir einen Tag später gleich wieder hingegangen sind, spricht Bände.

Ich bin jedes Mal super zufrieden! Die Steaks und Burger sind mega lecker – besonders der Chili-Cheeseburger, der war der Knaller. Auch die Salatbar ist top. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Preis/Leistung haben leider das Gleichgewicht verloren. Das das Innenraumkonzept aus einer vergangenen Zeit stammt, kann man vielleicht noch hinnehmen. Die mittelmäßige Qualität, bei den adressieren Preisen dann aber nicht mehr. Lichtblick war die wirklich freundliche Bedienung bei unserem Besuch.

Wir kommen immer wieder gerne hierhin. Das Fleisch wird gut zubereitet. Es gibt auch eine gute Kinderkarte. Service und Bedienung immer freundlich und höflich.

Ein klassisches Steakhaus. War mit der Qualität und dem Service zufrieden. Das Fleisch war wie gewünscht zubereitet.

Das Personal war super freundlich. Der Weg zur Toilette für behinderte Menschen eine Katastrophe. Das Essen von meinem Mann und die Kürbissuppe waren lecker. Mein Schweinefilet war zäh, aber die Pommes waren lecker. Die Champingnons fand ich nicht auf dem Teller....die freundliche Bedienung zeigte sie mir in der Soße in dem Schälchen auf dem Teller...!!?? . Ich konnte das letzte Stück Filet nicht mehr essen, es war zu zäh und ich habe mich geärgert, das nicht sofort reklamiert zu haben. Ich habe das auch der Bedienung gesagt. Der Preis für das Gericht, ohne Salat lag ca. bei 17 Euro. Nochmal, 3 Stück zähes Filet, eine mittlere Portion Pommes, Champingnons sehr ünersichtlich, in der Soße. Majo für 1 Euro zusätzlich. Dafür fahre ich nicht mehr dorthin.

Ich war von Maredo enttäuscht 😞. Der Eistee schmeckte nach Pulver mit Wasser aufgefüllt. Die Steaks waren alles andere als Medium. Ziemlich blutige Angelegenheit. Für ein Steakhaus das hunderte Steaks täglich zubereitet, sollte die Küche es eigentlich drauf haben. Die Bedienung war toll. Von ihr haben wir wenigstens noch einen Espresso bekommen.

Rumpsteak Schnitzel und zäh, Pommes uns Sauce lecker.

Die Kette Maredo an sich hat ja sicherlich schon lange ihre beste Zeiten hinter sich, aber das Restaurant im Rhein-Ruhr-Center schägt alles: 90er Jahre Kantinen-Charme, unaufmerksame Bedienungen und Steaks von der Qualität wie am Ballermann. Portionsgröße auch eher überschaubar. Kein Beilagensalat inkludiert. Waren zu Zweit und hatten das Gleiche (Pfeffersteak im Angebot für 25€) und beide hatten nach 2 Stunden Darmbeschwerden. Danke für nichts

Ich komme immer wieder gerne hierher um von der Lunch Karte eine Kleinigkeit zu essen und das zu einem kleinen Preis das Service Personal ist sehr freundlich und beantwortet hilfsbereit Fragen

Hölzernes Bedienkonzept. Service am Kunden leider mangelhaft. Auf der Ofenkartoffel meiner Frau war leider sehr wenig Sauce. Als wir dieses bemängelten, wurde uns gesagt, dass es leider nicht möglich wäre mehr Sauce zu erhalten, es sei denn, wir würden diese bezahlen. (4€) Als wir diesen Sachverhalt mit der Serviceleitung besprochen haben, wurde uns gesagt, dass die Saucenmengen der Gerichte grammgenau kalkuliert wären und man davon nicht abweichen dürfe. Selbes Thema hatten wir im Vorfeld mit der Salatbeilage. Aufgrund von Unverträglichkeiten baten wir darum den Beilagensalat welcher im Gericht inkludiert war selbst an der Bar zusammenstellen zu dürfen. Dieses war dann leider aufgrund des Betriebskonzeptes auch nicht möglich, da die Benutzung der Salatbar nur erlaubt sei, wenn man den aufpreispflichtigen Salat aus der Karte bestellen würde. (Ca.9€). Solche Aussagen sind wirklich sehr befremdlich und wären in einem privat geführten Restaurant sicherlich nicht vorgekommen. Das Steak war in Ordnung, allerdings auch keine Offenbarung. Wir kommen nicht wieder.

Wir fanden es sehr lecker. Service war freundlich und das Ambiente find ich sehr ansprechend. Das Essen war schnell zubereitet und am Tisch.

Nett für zwischendurch. Haben drinnen, hinten in der Sonne gesessen, war sehr angenehm. Ich habe das Schnitzel vom Mittagstisch gegessen, fand ich etwas sehr klein, aber lecker. Meine Frau hatte den Salat vom Buffet und war mit dem Preis Leistungsverhältnis sehr zufrieden.

Gefällt mir persönlich immer sehr gut, wenn das RRZ komplett umgebaut ist, macht es dort auch bestimmt wieder mehr Spaß hinzufahren und bei Maredo einen Abstecher zu machen. Obwohl die neue Karte mit den Preisen ganz schön angezogen hat, dann muss die Qualität auch langfristig passen. Ich hoffe es.

Die Qualität der Steaks war wie immer gut aber die Atmosphäre des Lokals nicht; irgendwie aus der Zeit gefallen. Zu warm, zu dunkel, wenig Gäste.

Günstige Mittagskarte. Gute Auswahl an Gerichten. Sehr schöner Außenbereich. Saubere Toiletten.

We've been customers for years. However, the quality of the food has declined significantly over the last few visits. Some steaks are cold and taste sour. The service isn't up to cleaning the tables, so you usually end up sitting at a dirty table. One of the new waitresses is very unkempt and unfriendly. We won't be back.

The food is usually very good, although the steak hasn't been cooked to perfection on occasion lately. That's a shame, of course. Otherwise, the service is excellent, and you can eat really well there for a reasonable price!

For a steak restaurant, the meat offered should be better. Good, but not exceptional.

Very good parking free and prices are reasonable and there is an enclosed area for all games for the boys and food is available at an acceptable price.

We've been to MAREDO in Mülheim an der Ruhr twice now – and since then, we've happily driven over an hour to eat there. It's worth it every time! 😊 The meat tasting is highly recommended. For the price, you really get everything your heart desires: various types of meat of the highest quality, great side dishes, and plenty of interesting information about meat. 🥩 Ice leads the evening with passion and enthusiasm – you can immediately feel how much he enjoys sharing his knowledge. He explains exactly where the meat comes from, the differences, and how to prepare it properly. His long-time colleague also does a great job. Both are very friendly, attentive, and create a pleasant atmosphere. You simply feel at home and go home more than full and satisfied. We would definitely come back! 🤗

We had schnitzel with fries. It was edible, but it really wasn't good. I expect better quality in a restaurant. The service was excellent.

Rump steak was gristly and tough. After 8:30 p.m., you're chased out of the shop because you want to finish work.

We have been regular customers for many years as we always eat here before going to the cinema. The food was always good, the selection is relatively large, the addition of spices at the table is also very nice. I can't say anything about the reviews that say the toilets are so dirty. Whenever we were there, which we have been for 7 years, the toilets were clean. The staff has always been super friendly, professional and simply great!

Unfortunately the waitress forgot to bring the order.

Consistent quality, freshly prepared. The ribbed fries that came with the steak were more like chips; I didn't find them that tasty.

Significant increase in all points, a big plus for the Super Salad Bar

We took part in the steak tasting (booked through Mydays) and were very surprised. Very tasty food in more than enough quantity for 4 people, very good service and lots of information about the origin and processing of the meat. Despite the obviously high price at first glance, I would book again, it was very worth it :)

It's a shame that there is no Maredo in Essen

Well, where do I start... So first with the ambience. This is really getting old. The seating also looks like it's from the 70s... A refresh would really be good. The food was really very good. I have to say that. I wanted my burger patty medium and that's how I got it. To be honest, the service can be improved. My wife didn't like the rhubarb spritzer. She was very bitter. Which I was able to confirm by trying. We reported this to the service person. Then another service person came and said that this couldn't be right because it always tastes like that. She also came with the bottle half full. This also tasted bitter and stale. The service person then said that it was just a matter of our taste. I thought that was bold. I would say that it was more because the bottle was left open too long... That's why only 3 stars for the service.

Value for money for the lunch special for €11.90 was poor. Very measly portion, garlic bread was without any garlic taste. Chicken fillet extremely small and few grilled vegetables. I'll avoid Maredo for now.

The three of us were at Maredo's in the RRZ. The food was good. I had previously booked a “two for one main course” voucher through Neotaste. When I ordered, I redeemed it in the presence of the waitress. When we wanted to pay, the (presumably) supervisor/managing director came to our table and informed us that the voucher could not be used due to a system change. When we didn't want to just accept this, he became very unfriendly to both us and the waitress involved. Only after a long, unpleasant discussion did we get the corresponding discount. This is not how you treat your customers or your staff!!

Always very tasty. But not cheap.

Nice friendly service. Food was ready quickly and tasty. So for dessert there was a delicious lava cake with vanilla ice cream.

I had the pleasure of visiting this wonderful restaurant and I absolutely love it! The food was an absolute delight – fresh, tasteful and prepared with great attention to detail. The menu offers a great selection, so there is something for every taste. Particularly noteworthy is the quality of the ingredients and the creative presentation of the dishes. Price/performance mega. The service was first class - friendly, attentive and yet unobtrusive. As a guest you really feel welcome and well looked after here. The ambience is also convincing across the board. The furnishings are stylish and cozy, so you immediately feel at home. I can highly recommend this restaurant and look forward to my next visit.

What is not possible is a hair in the food. DISGUSTING. In the open kitchen there are lots of people with long and loose hair. A hairnet would be really desirable. It was redone but no apology from service or anything. Maredo tastes just as you know it. Canteen-like atmosphere. And that with the really steep prices. Once and never again.

We spent half an hour waiting for a bowl of soup and bread! All this time, plates of food for a large company were being carried past us. Only when we expressed our desire to leave did they bring me absolutely cold, overcooked bread without the garlic flavor included in the menu. And yes, I waited another 5 minutes for it to be heated up. (My husband received a portion of unsalted dry meat without the slightest seasoning... I absolutely do not recommend it.

Very nice people who work there +++ Attentive!!! My husband was happy with his meal, my steak was well done even though it was ordered medium rare. But the salad was very fresh with a delicious dressing. Overall, I would like to go again ;) and it is recommended!

We celebrated a birthday. Since we had been there many times in the last few years before Corona, we wanted to spend the evening there nicely. But we were very quickly disappointed and the conclusion was sobering.🥺. The salad 🥗 counter was very unclean and food was lying next to it or on the floor. Work was carried out without gloves 🧐🥴. The food was OK but not outstanding either. The portions had shrunk but the prices didn't 🙈. Steaks were not cooked as requested. Either they were bloody 🩸or through like a shoe sole 😵‍💫. Same with the burgers too. Plates were carelessly arranged. The service was friendly but that was just it. !!! Not a word too many. No questions were asked, did it taste good or can I bring you something else? The aisles to the buffet are narrow and you collide with the employees who pick up the food from the kitchen. We won't be coming back any time soon. There was also no good evening or a friendly shot. But the tip was gladly taken quickly. Very very unfortunate 😕😕😕

Have been there many times. Meat always comes out of the kitchen the way I want it, great Unfortunately, the food wasn't very disappointing, I didn't eat because we were at the table for more than 30 minutes. No drinks were asked. Neighboring tables came after us and received food and drinks before us We then left and unfortunately, after drawing our attention, we still received a stroppy answer It's a shame we always liked being there, but I can't recommend it anymore

We were there again after many years for my sister's birthday. We were disappointed. The prices had risen sharply and the portions of food were tiny. The steak wasn't cooked as requested, neither was the burger patti, my baked potato wasn't cooked through and the meat could be found. The food was carelessly prepared. The salad bar was a battlefield, everything was on the floor or on the counter. The spoons for the salad 🥗 were smeared from top to bottom. The corridor there was very narrow because you always had to walk through where the food was served. 🥴. The waiter wasn't the most polite, no good evening or thank you until he understood the order, it took forever and after paying, no nice evening or did they like it, they were satisfied. Nothing🙈🙄. Very unfortunate. We won't be back that quickly, it's a shame that everything has slowed down so much. 😕

Das, was man von einem guten Steak-House erwarten darf. Steaks waren sehr gut, Kürbissuppe ebenso. Das einzige zu bemängelnde bei der Auslastung mittags (Max 40 %) war, dass die Tische nicht 100% sauber waren, liegt aber mutmaßlich an der Abendschicht zuvor, die auch alles wieder eingedeckt hat.

Maredo has lost a lot of quality. Was there again today for years. Unfortunately, there are austerity measures everywhere. You will look in vain for the Maredo cult sauce bottle, there is only the Maredo sauce bottled and served in a small bowl. There is also no longer a bread starter. There used to be a good atmosphere thanks to all these advantages and the empathetic staff, but today it seems like robots. No questions were asked as to whether it was tasty or whether it was a dessert. They also didn't pay attention to empty glasses or ask if they wanted something to drink. Probably no one is interested anymore. The salad buffet was very disappointing, everything was dry, I don't want to know how long the goods had been there. It wasn't well attended either, that's not a good sign, the more traffic, the fresher the goods. The containers for the dressings didn't look very appetizing. Maybe you should at least clean these if nothing is going on. Unfortunately it's no longer mine. The prices have also risen immensely for smaller portions and mediocre to almost poor quality. The steak had a fatty crust that was really inedible, the portion of fries was so small that it was barely enough for a school child and the onion rings were cold. There are no more decorations, not even a lettuce leaf, so according to the motto "eat or die", eat and then pay well and quickly. It's a shame about what was once a very good restaurant. Unfortunately, in my opinion, it is now completely unrecommendable and far too expensive for the prevailing offer. Maybe this review can inspire some improvements. This only reflects my personal impression. The visit was very disappointing. Unfortunately. I used to be a guest here almost every week and was very satisfied and the restaurant was so busy that every now and then you couldn't get a seat and had to come back later, which you were happy to do given the good food. I would never go out to eat again. I ate the ceaser salad and after about an hour I felt strange and bad. Since then I've just sat on the toilet with diarrhea. Food hygiene is technically the last drawer
