I was there today for breakfast. It used to be nice and clean, there was a lot of choice. The service was terrible. The waiters didn't care. It was absolutely disgusting. We wanted breakfast, there was no bread. We wanted tea. The teapot was empty and we had to get it from the end of the shop. We asked the waiter for tea. He laughed and said there was no more tea. And I don't even want to talk about the little molds on the salami. I'd rather starve than have breakfast there again.

At a buffet, I expect the food offered to be warm... But here it was cold. Nuggets, sauces, even the eggs were all cold... who serves cold food that's supposed to be warm? And I don't even want to get started on the Cai. My family and I were really disappointed, even though I love Turkish cuisine, but this restaurant was definitely not it. And the price is definitely not worth it; it's too expensive for cold food!!!

We were in Frankfurt for business from another city. We came here because it was a Turkish restaurant and offered an open buffet breakfast. There wasn't much variety, and we weren't thrilled that they charged extra for the orange juice we drank. After other places that offered open buffet breakfasts (like La Sude in Duisburg), this one felt very basic.

I would have expected a lot more for the price. The service was also quite slow and not particularly attentive. We had to ask several times before something arrived. Overall, the atmosphere was rather lackluster; there are definitely better Turkish breakfast spots in Frankfurt. It's a shame, we were actually looking forward to it. We probably won't be going back.

Breakfast was okay, but way too expensive... We went to the breakfast buffet with two small children. The selection was decent, but the price shocked us: €19.50 per adult, €11.90 per child, even though the children barely ate anything. Drinks were charged extra, with prices not clearly stated. I've been going to Minka for a few years now and have unfortunately witnessed how it's being run down by a lot of little things. What a shame! The food isn't as tasty anymore, the portions are much smaller, and the beautiful presentation from before is gone. The staff are arrogant, but they've been like that for years. They pretty much shoo you away; the food isn't even ready before they ask for tea, which for Turkish people is pretty much "that's it, get up and go!" :D Considering you're paying at least €60-70 for two people, that's pretty outrageous.

What did was the waiter's attempt to RIP ME OFF!!! Upon asking for the bill the waiter finally arrived without a paper bill and announced my charge was €56 ... and had the card reader at hand. This did not make sense to me so I requested my paper invoice prior to giving my credit card. SURPRISE! The paper invoice was only €33.80. Had I not raised a fuss I would have been well over-charged. SHAME ON YOU Minka Server. I assume your manager does not know of your attempts to cheat customers, because I am certain i am not the first. Please retrain your older male servers to be honest with all your guests.

Unfortunately, my last visit to Minka was a huge disappointment. The service was unmotivated and inattentive – our order was only taken after 20 minutes, even though the restaurant was almost empty. Our drinks remained ready at the bar for a long time, but were ignored by the waiter, who preferred to chat with colleagues. We felt neither welcome nor well-attended – a real shame, because Minka used to be my favorite restaurant.

So I had to eat something different than what I wanted. For the extremely high price, the food was okay, but by no means outstanding. I expect a restaurant to be honest with its customers - especially loyal guests. This should urgently be improved.

My friend's pizza looked phenomenal and she really enjoyed it. But the service was great and very friendly, funny and put you in a good mood.

A visit to a restaurant should be a pleasure, but here any magic was nipped in the bud. It's unfortunate, but I'll definitely avoid this place in the future.
