Urfa Man Gala - Disappointing experience Unfortunately, my visit to Urfa Man Gala was a huge disappointment. I was looking forward to a delicious kebab, but the experience left a lot to be desired. First of all the service was very unfriendly and disinterested. The staff seemed uninterested in caring for the guests and seemed irritated when I asked a question about the different sauces. The kebab itself was also a disappointment. The meat was dry and barely seasoned, and the bread was soggy. The side dishes didn't look or taste fresh. Overall, the kebab lacked the flavor and freshness that you would expect from a good kebab. Additionally, the store itself wasn't particularly clean. The tables were sticky and the floor was dirty, which further worsened the overall experience. I was hoping to find a new favorite kebab shop, but unfortunately I won't be recommending Urfa Man Gala and certainly won't be returning.

We went out for a family dinner, we ordered 4 types of plates, 3 of them arrived wrong, 1 of them did not arrive at all and we waited a long time until the dishes arrived.

I was there on Wednesday evening, everything tasted good, the waitress also spoke Persian, when I wanted to pay she asked for a reward for the waiter (tip). I gave her something, normally you don't ask a guest something like that. Hence corresponding stars 🌟

Wenn man wie ich 20 Jahre auf Geschäftsreise war, dann hat man alles schon mal bewerte, jedes Restaurant, 100erte von Hitels. Irgendwann gibt es nichts neues mehr. Daher bewerte ich nur noch Besonderheiten die auf meiner Bucketlist stehen. Und da steht das Urfa Man Gala in Höchst, weil es da Locum Kebap gibt. Das ist im Prinzip Bonfilet auf einem Spieß über Holzkohle gegrillt. Sehr gut zubereitet sehr lecker und Preis Leistung absolut ok. Wir haben mit 4 Personen ca 100 € bezahlt. Auch die Suppen, der Grillteller und Künefe sind hier sehr zu empfehlen.

The man on the phone doesn't understand the simple question of when my food is ready and ready to be picked up. When I was there he wanted to provoke me and played dumb. Very authentic and nice restaurant. The food is very tasty and super fresh. We had the mixed pide, tavuk sis and minced meat skewers with rice and tomatoes. Everything tasted very good and the quality was great. At the end there was tea on the house. Just walked in without an appointment on a Saturday afternoon. See you soon 👍🏻

My favorite restaurant for Turkish specialties! We ate here practically every week for years with half the company. The second floor was always spontaneously opened for us ;) My company has moved, but the restaurant is still a popular meeting place with colleagues :) The Adana Kebap was the favorite of most colleagues, mine is the Dönerli Pide (Pide with doner meat). Best with extra garlic sauce! The service was always very friendly and the food is unbeatable!

I gave 5 stars exactly because of that Reason because I'm always fascinated by food. I always get something delicious, fresh on my table and I've been a customer for 6 years and everything here is great

I am very satisfied and would love to go there again and again. Stone wood oven is a must for me anyway if I want to eat lahmacun or pide.

Very aloof shop and boss. A burnt skewer came to our table. The waiter and the boss then started negotiating with us that we should only pay 20% for the skewer. You can't make a refund - ridiculous bunch. Burn the food and want some more of the money. We won't come anymore.

My experience on May 12, 2024 shortly after 4 p.m. (order for 12 people) I try not to go into details. I placed a large order (doner, pide and lahmacun approx. For 12 people). Unfortunately in the “Takeaway” area it is a disaster. I had never received a proper order before, I had a surprise at home, something was always missing. I just hope the owner takes the time to watch the surveillance camera video from May 12, 2024. 1- Rushing to take the order. I tell him 6x and get 7x. Unfortunately, the customer is not really listened to at the counter. 2- I was very annoyed that the employee blatantly lied to my face when I spoke to him that half of my orders were incorrect or something was missing and he claimed that everything was fine. Luckily I checked the order on site. (As I said, I don't want to go into details). In the end his colleague came and sorted out the incorrect orders. I think the restaurant is really TOP and the food is great. I will continue to eat but no more takeaway and I recommend it. PS: I will definitely change my customer review at some point, at the moment I'm really annoyed by the employee's behavior. 1 employee ruins everything.

It's a pretty average place, but the service is extremely bad. Especially the Iranian waitress, completely overwhelmed, disrespectful, without decency and not attentive. The bill also asked which pide we paid for (even though we only ordered one pide). It's an absolute disgrace if you leave over 100 euros here! As a boss, I would think of something! Plus there was no STILL WATER?! A disrespect.

We went here for breakfast at 8:00 a.m. on a Sunday morning. The full menu was not available, but they had a few great breakfast options and soup. We shared the menemen and a platter with eggs, cheese, and various vegetables. The food and service were excellent.

Beware of rip-offs! Vegetarian kebab (€7) and mega kebab (€9) ordered, but €23 was charged to the card!! I was only able to understand this when I received the receipt. The very last thing, very dubious. Never again. When I pointed out the incorrect billing, I only received a simple “sorry” and I was not even refunded the correct amount of the difference of €7, but only €6. Incredibly bold and the entire behavior speaks for itself.

We arrived after a 4 hour drive and thought we would have a nice Turkish meal and found this restaurant but unfortunately it wasn't at all as expected. My husband ordered Izgara Köfte. The meat was so raw that you couldn't eat it. We called the waiter and passed on our request. He took the plate with him and tried to fool us by bringing the same meatballs back. Then we told the waitress again and the exact same thing happened to make a joke by leaving it on the grill for longer, the outside was already burnt so I see that as a cheek and as a restaurant owner I would question whether if it had happened to him whether he would eat it!!!! Therefore NOT RECOMMENDED AT ALL

The food is great, but I wish there was a chance to eat in peace. It is very rude to take the plate away before the meal is even finished. Such a service did not suit such delicious food... It is annoying that the waiter constantly looks at me, I don't think I would choose it again...

Meat from Lahmacun stinks, food comes without cutlery, tea looks like water, we asked for extra sugar but unfortunately it wasn't given In the end I was ashamed in front of my guests that I had invited to this restaurant!

The salad wasn't visually bad, but the tomatoes and cucumbers were quite soft... (was there around 11 p.m.) Meat was very tasty, but the constant homeless people who carelessly go to the restaurant to beg is a complete disaster

Service is very unfriendly, you don't get any tea because supposedly there isn't any...they want the table to be free immediately after the meal for new guests in a very, very unfriendly way, the table is no longer cleaned, etc.

Ich bin in einer Gruppe von 7 Personen wir haben 3 Adana, 3 Pide und 1 Hackfleisch Spieß bestellt. Ich persönlich hab mit einen „Adana Teller“ bestellt und qualitativ hochwertig finde ich es eine 7,5/10. Die Location ist eine 4/10 aber sobald man im Restaurant sitzt ändert sich das. Mir hat es gefallen.

A customer in Höchst for many years, the store was so big that there were only a few cola round tables inside and it wasn't even called a restaurant! Unfortunately, the quality has noticeably DECLINED. Especially during the Corona period... even the monthly meal with the parents is canceled because they simply can't enjoy the enjoyment they used to. Then it's a shame that the prices have now increased. Around 35€-40€ for 2 people is quite a bit for what you're currently getting. After this time it's finally over for me too. Price/performance is simply no longer right.

I was breaking our iftar with my wife and son at Urfa Man last night. Unfortunately, the reservation started right away and we were stopped here even though we had called to make a reservation. 35 minutes after Iftar, we were finally able to try our food. Unfortunately it didn't taste good, service was INCREDIBLY bad! And unfortunately we weren't even offered anything as a gesture of goodwill and were charged a cheeky bill of 63 euros. Then at least eliminate the 3 euros, my friend. Very disappointing unfortunately! Unfriendly service and restaurant operator.

I had a meal there yesterday and was very satisfied with the quality of the price and the friendliness of the people served. I would definitely recommend and come back again.

UPDATE March 11, 2024: Hello “Social Media Manager” who I see as the only one answering in the comment rates. Are you just making big speeches or is something ACTUALLY being changed? The staff has become really bad. When we asked several times to get something extra (in this case some of the yoghurt sauce) the first time was misunderstood and we were brought hot sauce, the second time nothing even came. The bread is ALWAYS brought cold EVEN THOUGH YOU ASKED for it to be warm!!! Eating took a really long time, while you watch others who came later before a meal, we ordered the number 1, which was usually never spicy. This time you could even see the red flakes in the meat (i.e. wrong order). After we asked for the bill because we had to leave, no one came again. Don't you want to get paid?! A disaster. We really enjoyed going there (my first review was from 5 years ago) but the condition here now is disappointing! Please do something so that you can enjoy eating here again! _____________________________ Unfortunately, I can mostly only agree with the reviews about the service/staff. Our bread arrived cold even though we had asked for it to be warm. We were afraid to send it back (it wasn't like that just once). The food, on the other hand, tastes really good. The grilled meat is delicious and I have always found the portions to be hearty and sufficient. The tea afterwards to wind down is highly recommended ;)

The employee from Urfa is not friendly, he is very rude, I will not comply with him next time, he is very rude, do what is necessary.

Really bad service! You wait in vain for your food while other guests who came much later and also ordered grilled dishes are being served. I used to go there often and from now on I'll definitely never go again!

Lentil and tripe soup was not fresh. Lentil soup is not restaurant style! The service staff does not speak Turkish and could not help us with the menu. When I go to a Turkish restaurant in Germany, I expect the atmosphere of being in Turkey, but I couldn't find it here.

Best Turkish food in Höchst and the surrounding area!

As a female customer, I was a guest in your restaurant today, February 19, 2024 between 3:30 p.m. and 4 p.m. and was asked for my Instagram account by one of your waiters during the meal. I found this behavior extremely unpleasant and unprofessional. As a guest, I expect respectful and appropriate behavior from the staff. Such requests have no place in a restaurant environment and greatly impacted my experience. It is unfortunate that such incidents have a negative impact on the overall impression of my visit.

Food tastes great, but could be warmer. The meat and fries were only lukewarm. There are only 3 stars for the ambience because there is no changing facility for babies and the children's chairs are really very dirty. We then preferred to leave our child in our arms.

The store used to be really great, was there every week. Now really one of the worst services in all of Frankfurt. Portions have become much smaller, waiters are so unfriendly that you don't enjoy eating at all. Every little thing costs extra, tea is no longer served. As soon as the food is ready, the bill is brought to you without being asked and you are even told to please leave as soon as possible. Really - really bad service now.

3 waiters at 5 tables and you have to wait 10 minutes until you are asked whether you have already ordered, then wait 40 minutes until you lose interest in the food and you can leave annoyed because everyone who ordered before you has already been served

The shop is quite nice but €8 kebab that is just 2cm thick is a disgrace!!

Unfortunately my visit was a total failure and therefore I cannot recommend this restaurant at all. The dishes were not delivered as ordered, some of the meat was not cooked through and the cellar was unfortunately extremely rude and unprofessional. All in all, I cannot recommend this restaurant more highly. The reviews do not correspond to reality and there are enough alternatives in the Frankfurt area.

Ich besuchte heute das Restaurant leider war meine Erfahrung enttäuschend. Der Salat enthielt ungewaschene Petersilie, was den Genuss beeinträchtigte. Dies wirft Fragen zur Küchenhygiene auf. Die Getränke wurden vergessen. Die Kellnerin verschwand, bevor die Kartenzahlung abgeschlossen war, was die Transaktion umständlich machte. Es wäre ratsam, die Hygienepraktiken zu überprüfen und sicherzustellen, dass das Personal aufmerksamer ist. Eine freundlichere Abwicklung der Zahlung wäre ebenfalls wünschenswert. Insgesamt war meine Erfahrung im Restaurant unbefriedigend. Ich hoffe, dass diese Anmerkungen zu Verbesserungen führen, denn ich würde derzeit nicht dazu neigen, das Restaurant weiterzuempfehlen.

War zu Besuch bei einer Freundin. Sind dann hier her zum essen gekommen. Top essen und sehr gastfreundliche Mensch. Zum Abschluss gab es noch Chai Tee aufs Haus. 😁 Schade das ich so weit weg wohne , sonst würde ich öfters kommen.

Spontan haben wir uns entschieden im Urfa Man essen zu gehen. Drin kommt man sich vor wie in Istanbul und bekommt direkt Urlaub-Vibes. Der Service ist sehr schnell, aufmerksam und freundlich. Neben einem Adana Teller gab es auch Sis mit Aubergine. Die Portionen waren gut und man bekommt auch ne schöne Vielfalt auf den Teller. Geschmacklich zwar gut, fand ich noch etwas Potential an der Röstung des Fleisches. Es war relativ blass von außen und innen noch leicht roh. Was mich per se nicht stört. Aber was ich daran vermisse ist der schöne Grill-Flavour bzw. Die tollen Röstaromen. Die Auberginencreme und vor allem der frische Ayran ist eine ganz klare Empfehlung. Auch beim beobachten der Nebentische fand ich persönlich das Dönerfleisch relativ hell. Weiß nicht ob das so sein sollte. Für mich persönlich mag ich es eher gut gegrillt. Grundsätzlich würde ich wieder vorbeikommen und das nächste mal was anderes probieren.

Der Adana war sehr lecker. Lange nach sowas gesucht.

Sehr leckeres und frisches Essen. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich und man muss nicht lange auf sein Gericht warten. Große Auswahl an Speisen. Das Ambiente ist gemütlich. Ich gehe regelmäßig dort essen.

Mein Verlobter und Ich waren heute in dem Restaurant zum ersten Mal etwas essen. Als wir reinkamen wurden wir nicht mal begrüßt, haben uns dann hingesetzt und wurden des Öfteren gebeten uns umzusetzen und musst jedes Mal Besteck und Speisekarte selber mit uns schleppen. Essen bestellt 2 von 4 Sachen angekommen. Es wurde öfters nochmal nachgefragt ob wir die anderen 2 Gerichte bekommen, jedes Mal wurde sich weggedreht und nicht wirklich zugehört von der Kellnerin. Essen war an sich sehr lecker aber die Kellnerin war einfach überfordert obwohl der Laden nicht mal voll war. Am Tisch nebenan genau das selbe. Bestellung wurde nicht richtig aufgenommen und sie mussten öfters nachfragen wo die restlichen Gerichte seien

Nach einem erneuten Besuch muss ich meine vorangehende Erfahrung korrigieren: Der bestellte Döner war qualitativ und geschmacklich wirklich gut! Nicht zu wenig und nicht zu viel Soße, sehr knuspriges und gut gewürztes Fleisch und ein solides Brot! Von der sehr aufmerksamen Bedienung bekam ich sogar auf einem extra Teller ein paar frische Peperoni bzw Chili nachgereicht, als sie sah, dass ich großzügig Chiliflocken auf meinen Döner verteilte. Aufgrund dieser durchweg positiven Erfahrung, komme ich sehr gerne wieder! Hier meine ursprüngliche Nachricht mit der durchgehenden Bewertung von nur 2 Sternen: Das Essen ist zwar okay, aber mehr leider auch nicht. Wirklich schlechtes kann man nicht sagen, immerhin war es essbar und das Lokal relativ sauber. Dennoch ein Lokal was ich nicht nochmal besuchen werde.

Das Essen hier schmeckt sehr heftig und lecker. Döner Pizza und Döner Teller haben mich weggehauen. Ich komme definitiv zurück. Dieser Laden ist unterschätzt.

Die Bedienung ist sehr schlecht ! Wenn man diese Preise verlangt möchte man auch anständig bedient werden. Mussten die Kellner mehrmals auffordern. Das Essen an sich war nicht schlecht .

Ich kann die schlechten Bewertungen über den Service nicht teilen. Unsere Bedienung war schnell, freundlich und präsent. Wir haben kaum 15 Minuten auf das Essen gewartet. Sah alles sehr frisch aus und hat auch lecker geschmeckt.

Das türkische Restaurant in Höchst ist gut. Es liegt in der Nähe des Bahnhofs und ist somit mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln schnell erreichbar. Hier findet man auch eine große Auswahl an türkischen Speisen. Besonders gut sind hier die Spieße, welches gegrillt werden. Doch mein persönlicher Favorit war die Dönerpizza, welches wirklich sehr lecker geschmeckt hat.

Arguably one of the best Turkish grill places in Frankfurt. Just the interior looks a bit dated.

I was looking for a late dinner near my hotel, and this was definitely the place for it. The lamb cutlets were particularly good, but I also loved the salad and the baklava I had for dessert. The service was friendly and competent. The neighbourhood is not the best, but this restaurant is!

Lauwarmes Essen, lange Wartezeit und individuelle Wünsche (Döner ohne Sauce) werden auch beim zweiten Mal nachbestellen wieder falsch gemacht.
