We went because it was halal, but it wasn't tasty. The mosques were closed, unfortunately. Also, it was expensive. There was no interest because it was full and the staff was running around.

Incredibly delicious food and fair prices. We've been coming back whenever we're in the area for years.

My friend and I only ordered tea and soup, but both were delicious. The soup was served with flatbreads, which made the meal truly complete. The waiter was friendly and attentive, the service was fast and high-quality. The atmosphere in the place was very pleasant, with a warm, almost family-like atmosphere. The restaurant certainly seems to be very popular. We were there in the early evening and it was very busy, but we still managed to get a seat without a reservation. Most of the staff were very accommodating and friendly. The selection was nicely presented with pictures on the menu, so you could imagine what was on offer. The food itself was beautifully presented and extremely delicious. Unfortunately, the atmosphere wasn't quite as pleasant, as it was very loud and a bit untidy, or the waiters simply couldn't keep up. There was trash and leftover food everywhere on the floor. Nevertheless, we would definitely come back if we were in the area.

I ate lamb ribs here. Compared to other Turkish restaurants, the grilling and taste were on a whole other level. My friend who went with me said that if there was a restaurant like this near his house, he would probably become a regular.

Best place to eat around Frankfurt

We each had a plate of Ali Nazik, and it was incredibly delicious! The sauce, along with the lamb and bread, was a perfect combination. We also had a really sweetly presented plate of Sigara Börek, which were still really hot and crispy.

Unfortunately a total fail. The food was ok, but I don't think I've ever experienced such poor customer service in Frankfurt. Try it out. Unfortunately for us it means: never again!

Ich hatte den Leberspieß bestellt. Als erstes biss ich auf einen Klumpen Fett, den ich gleich ausspuckte - es war leider nicht der letzte! Die Leberstücke selbst waren völlig ungekürzt und geschmacklos, noch dazu total trocken. Auch die Beilagen waren eher ungewürzt. Von mir keine Empfehlung, zumal für den Preis von € 17.

Directly at Höchst train station. If the weather is good you can also sit outside. The view and surroundings are not the most beautiful corner of Höchst... but the food tastes very good. The Ayran and Künefe as dessert were also very tasty.

Ordered 3 x lentil soup. Portion and price performance is good. Unfortunately, the lentil soup didn't really taste like traditional lentil soup. Was more watery. But I would like to try something different next time and rate it again.

Das Essen im Restaurant ist gut und lecker, aber was überhaupt nicht gut ist, ist, dass man den Gästen immer ein „Weggehen“-Gefühl vermittelt, was sich bis jetzt nicht geändert hat. Wir möchten uns nach dem Essen hinsetzen und etwas Zeit verbringen, aber Ihre Kellner bringen die Rechnungen in Eile, bevor wir überhaupt nach der Rechnung fragen, und benehmen sich ständig wie „Geh weg“. Das ist nicht schön, das Essen ist köstlich, aber wir müssen schnell aufstehen und gehen, bevor wir den Geschmack genießen können.

I went out to eat with two friends yesterday. Super friendly, fast service. For the first Adana I've tried in Hesse, this is absolutely amazing. The Mercimek is also absolutely fantastic, incredibly refreshing 💚 All in all, perfect. We'd love to come back.

Eating here always feels like a short visit to the oriental part of Turkey. The atmosphere is fantastic, and the meat, vegetables, salad, and bread are all top-quality. Highly recommended if you're in the area or even willing to make a detour. A visit to Frankfurt Höchst is definitely worth it.

Even though we hadn't made a reservation and everything was already fully booked, they followed up and gave us seats for four. The call to prayer was also played for breaking the fast, and we could pray upstairs! Truly commendable! When ordering, they forgot to put an egg on the pide, but Serdal quickly rectified the mistake with a meat doner kebab plate. Very attentive and friendly. We're from Cologne, the place was recommended to us, and it was a good decision.

Ate kebab. Meat wasn't freshly cut and had probably been sitting for a long time, so it was dry and not that good to eat. Salad was fresh and tasty, sauces had very good taste but at €9 it was definitely too expensive for what it was.

Mega delicious Turkish grilled dishes, always freshly prepared & decent portions. Very warm welcome and attentive service... seating on 2 floors, so you can usually get a seat straight away...

I actually really liked the urfa snack bar. They have a good atmosphere and are well staffed. Unfortunately, I increasingly have the impression that they are skimping on the quality of their offerings and are not afraid to make faux pas even in front of their customers... So I have had to witness several times now how lukewarm meat was put into the kebab for customers, including myself, from a pot to the left of the kebab grill, while hot meat was cut fresh from the skewer for other customers. I just find that disgusting and disrespectful, hence a 4* deduction for food and service.

If you want typical Anatolian food, this is the right place for you. Everything tastes the way it should taste. Friendly staff, good parking.

We announced that we would be coming to the restaurant 2 hours before going to the restaurant on a Saturday evening, when it was crowded, but we were told 'you can come, sister, no problem'. Our meals arrived approximately 45-50 minutes after we ordered our meals, and by this point not even dry bread was brought to our table. What kind of a fireplace man is this, why don't they bring any appetizers? As if that wasn't enough, a long hair grew in my food. They apologized and our drinks were provided by the venue. There was a lot of salt in the meat dishes, it leaves a strong taste in the mouth even hours after eating. I guess their aim was to make more customers and more money with fewer people.

Unfortunately my Dürüm was a disappointment. You could hardly taste the minced meat because there was just far too little in it. I definitely expected more for the price.

Ich bin schon hier langjähriger Gast und kann es hier nur empfehlen. Das Essen ist hier auf den Punkt gekocht/gegrillt. Meine Favoriten sind der Döner, Pide, Ayran und Lahmacun. Das Fleisch vom Döner ist sehr gut gewürzt und saftig. Wenn man scharf bestellt bekommt auch scharfe Blattpaprika (Pulbiber). Bei vielen Döner-Läden bieten auch Blattpaprika (Pulbiber) an aber deren ist nicht scharf. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut. Der Service ist auch sehr gut. Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich und nett. Man bekommt das Essen auch schnell sei es vor Ort zum essen oder zum Mitnehmen.

I have been a guest here for many years and can only recommend it. The food here is cooked/grilled to perfection. My favorites are the kebab, pide, ayran and lahmacun. The meat from the kebab is very well seasoned and juicy. If you order spicy you also get hot leaf peppers (Pulbiber). Many kebab shops also offer leaf peppers (Pulbiber) but they are not spicy. Price-performance ratio is very good. The service is also very good. The employees are very friendly and nice. You can also get the food quickly, be it on site to eat in or to take away.

Unfortunately the meat wasn't cooked properly

They increased their prices twice within 2 weeks after they had already increased them twice before. 9.50 for a Dürüm with three pieces of meat on it and it was completely cold. Willless.

Adana Kebap to go: absolutely great! From the charcoal grill! With bulgur, salad, rice & sauce. Really really good. 17.-€. Pizza salami is also delicious. The Urfa Grillhouse can be highly recommended!

The best kebab restaurant in Frankfurt

I discovered the Urfa Man Gala Grillhouse (formerly Urfa Grill) in 2008. It was shown to me at the time by my girlfriend, now my wife. We have been regular customers ever since. I can confidently say that I am well versed in Turkish cuisine, especially kebabs. That's why I can say that the Urfa Man Gala Grillhouse is the best kebab shop in Frankfurt for me. The only drawback I personally see is that the atmosphere suffers when the store is busy (e.g. a birthday party or something similar). Unfortunately, in such cases it becomes very loud, which affects the otherwise pleasant atmosphere.

It's really run down, let alone the expensive kebab. Today, for example, I found a fingernail in my kebab and if you paid so much for it, it's a disgrace, the service also has long waiting times and it just doesn't taste the same anymore. Plus, to be precise, I don't have any carrots in it my kebab which was still in there. I wouldn't go there again :(

The food at Urfa is really delicious, but the service (the restaurant certainly knows who they are talking about) is really very unfriendly and seems annoyed. That really ruins your meal and he was like that with our neighbors too, so hopefully it shouldn't be our fault since we didn't start any trouble with him (generally never). He really used to be in a better mood. All meat dishes, especially Adana, are highly recommended.

The Urfa Man Gala Grillhouse is simply amazing! The meat is perfectly seasoned, juicy and cooked directly on the charcoal grill. It doesn't get any better. The atmosphere is super relaxed, the team is super friendly, and the freshly baked bread is amazing. If you like authentic Turkish food, you'll get your money's worth here. Absolute recommendation. I'll definitely be back!

I always only order from Urfa Man because it always tasted good. But recently the quality of meat has deteriorated significantly. We ordered Adana plates, there was cartilage in every bite!! For 17€ a treat!!!

Very tasty grill house, the meat was amazing, and the interaction between the before and after meals as well as the side dishes harmonized very well. I also liked the atmosphere and the location of the grill house because it's easy to get there and there are enough parking spaces. I'll always come back, highly recommended...

Went to Urfa again today after years. The offering is ok, the food was also ok, but a bit spicy. We ordered tzatziki and also a salad. Neither came, not even when asked. But the highlight was that I had to pay for the tzatziki even though we didn't receive it. When I asked, I was actually told that the garlic sauce that we had with our meal was supposed to have been tzatziki... so an absolute no go and not recommended.

I give kebab an eight out of ten. Too little meat in the kebab. High prices.

I ordered the Adana Kebab grill plate to take away and overall I was very satisfied. The food was really tasty and the portion was big enough to fill you up. I think it's particularly good that card payments are also offered here - this makes the payment process pleasantly uncomplicated. Unfortunately I had to wait a total of 17 minutes for my order, which I found to be relatively long. What was particularly annoying was that many customers after me received their orders much more quickly. This was a bit uncomfortable as I felt like I had been overlooked. Still, the food ultimately made up for the wait. I hope the wait times improve on future visits.

Worst case I wanted to order a classic Dürüm at the counter but was directed to the waiter. I didn't think any further, sat down and ordered a Dürüm from the waiter. At the end he brought me a Dürüm without meat and with a separate salad. When I pointed out that I had ordered a Dürüm with meat, he smiled and said he was sorry but there was nothing more he could do. In another moment, I watched other guests, who obviously didn't look European, being served at the counter and being made normal dürüm. It was clearly communicated here that I was not welcome. The whole thing was covered up with a smile and acted as if this service was completely normal. #Racism

A new employee forgot to bring us our Coke today. When we asked for a bill after lunch we said we didn't get our coke but that was okay because we were leaving. At that moment she said she would bring us our coke even though we didn't want it. We didn't want to drink it at dinner, now that we're about to leave, because she forgot. But she was so self-centered and didn't even want to hear about it, so we ended up sitting there for 10 minutes longer after she brought us coke (which we didn't want) but we thought it was free because it was her fault, that she had forgotten and we didn't want to be rude. After we drank our coke and asked again for a receipt, she brought us a receipt with a coke (€6) included! Honestly this was the worst experience with a waiter who didn't even care to listen to the guests.

Unfortunately, the quality of the dishes has dropped abruptly and the prices have gone up. The bread is rock hard and no longer fresh. The Adana Kebap contains small hard pieces of cartilage and the sauce portion and salad portion as a side dish have become significantly smaller. In addition, the drinks no longer come cold, but lukewarm. We waited almost 45 minutes for the food after ordering from the waiter. That's a shame, I always enjoyed eating there. Then I'll probably have to switch to another kebab shop.
