I had a delicious cheeseburger with lovely grilled flavors, which was a change from the usual. The French fries were also good (lightly sprinkled with salt and paprika). A bit on the pricey side, but worth it.

A cozy place, friendly service, and delicious food at a more than reasonable price. We arrived around 2:30 p.m. and were able to choose from the very attractively priced lunch menu. Absolutely recommended!

Highly recommended, very centrally located. The water is a bit pricey, but the pork knuckle is amazing. Incredibly huge, traditional, and delicious. I ate a lot and couldn't finish it. Isabel, the Spanish waitress, is very nice. They should raise her salary. Highly recommended.

Da meine Bewertung bei einem eigentlich renommierten Bewertungsportal wegen "Diffamierung" gelöscht wurde ... hier noch einmal: Kann den ganzen Hype nicht nachvollziehen. Liegt zwar sehr günstig an der längsten Theke der Welt, auch preislich bis 17.30 i.O. ... aaaber ... mein Burger war extrem trocken, nahezu keine Sauce drauf, das Bun für den Patty zu klein. Das Bun ebenfalls extrem trocken krümelig. Das Patty? Das arme Rind ist hier leider zweimal gestorben ... schon beinahe hart und trocken. Zwei Sterne wegen der Lage und dem halbwegs vernünftigen Service

A very good restaurant in the heart of the old town. This place is truly a valuable addition to the city center. The food was delicious and plentiful. The burgers are of excellent quality and deliciously prepared. We received a friendly welcome upon entry, which made us feel immediately welcome. The service was very friendly and attentive. It's an ideal location for those who want to enjoy the terrace. We happened to be lucky enough to arrive during happy hour, but for what it offers, it's certainly not too expensive!

Absolutely recommend this place for anyone wanting to eat before visiting the clubs in the old town, especially with a large group. We were there with over 20 people, and the food was ready super quickly despite the large number of people. The waiters were super friendly and were quick to take our orders. The excellent communication beforehand is also worth mentioning. Unfortunately, we arrived in Düsseldorf late due to the train and were supposed to arrive at the restaurant at 8:30 p.m., but ended up arriving at 10 p.m. Thanks to constant communication with the restaurant, it was no problem to arrive later! Highly recommended!

I can highly recommend this restaurant. I do wish they offered more potatoes with their dishes...rather than boiled potatoes or rosemary, but it still tastes very good. The food was ready quickly, and the atmosphere is pleasant.

Ich bedauere das sehr. Umso mehr, da ich das Restaurant für das für uns wirklich nicht gute Essen noch mit aus meiner Sicht sehr fairen 3 Sternen bewertet hatte. Dieses Verhalten geht gar nicht und daher kann ich nur einen Stern geben...

We were absolutely delighted with the quality of the meat. It was very tender and flavorful. We will definitely come back and we recommend it. Staff was also very nice and the prices are very accordingly to the quality. Loved it!

Thank you, the schnitzel was amazing. Great combination with the sauces (we've tried two). Attentive service and good atmosphere. The food was served fast and at the same time, but not earlier than we finished our appetizer.

The waiters did not come to take my order. They did not come to take my bill after the meal was finished, I had to call them. They never come until you call them. And although I asked for a well-done steak, the steak that came was pink and served directly with the pan it was cooked in. When I asked for it to be cooked again, they brought it in the same pan, it was always oily. They had overcooked it and the meat was dry.

The food is of a good standard and at an acceptable price for Düsseldorf. The ambience is nice and you can sit outside. The staff is great, very nice, attentive and accommodating.

We were there on a Saturday which is apparently very busy. We felt like we were being rushed to order and then you had to wait a long time if you wanted anything else. Maybe it was because of the crowds, but we thought it was a shame.

Service is very nice but... everything went wrong with the steak from the start then it had to be returned again then a part was missing and then it was finished but everyone else had already finished eating... I was still missing the dip for the steak and then just under €54 is unfortunately a low price

Pleasant environment, very good service and very well cooked dishes. Steaks of all kinds are recommended, the grilling is on point. From the salads, the Manhattan salad and the criollo in red wine sauce.

The place was good and I really like the schnitzel.

Unfortunately, no real recommendation for real meat fans... Unfortunately, nothing on the grill plate was as it should have been, the chicken was bland, the pork was like a shoe sole and the supposed Angus meat was still raw in the middle but cooked to death so that you could have chewed on it for hours... If it was really Angus then the chef has no idea how to prepare it. The BBQ bacon burger, on the other hand, was delicious, the bun was homemade/baked by a baker and not an industrial product. The bacon was a bit dark and partly black. After the criticism, we were offered an espresso as compensation, which was tasty. Conclusion from the time after eating, both stomach pain and nausea.

A must visit restaurant in Dusseldorf!!! Take the black Angus steak medium rare grilled with stuffed potato...

I visited on an evening when it was snowing and raining, and the terrace was very warm, which was nice. The Haksen was soft and delicious, and the fried food was also warm, which was nice. I took off one star because tipping was mandatory at the end.

Het is een gezellig plek, maar het eten was beneden gemiddeld. Ik verwacht geen culinaire hoogstandjes als ik in een toeristen gebied ga eten, maar de burger en schnitzel waren niet goed. De service was wel erg goed. Ik had deze review ook op Google geplaatst. Maar dit restaurant laat alle slechte reviews verwijderen zodat ze hoger scoren. Voor mij een reden om ze nu 1 ster te geven.

Unsere Google Bewertung wird ja grundsätzlich gelöscht da negative Bewertungen nicht die besten sind. Daher hier noch einmal LeiWir haben geschrieben das uns das Essen wie fertig schnitzel geschmeck hat, dazu gab es einen Pfeffersoße die uns schmecktw wie Bratensoße mit Pfefferkörnern. Die pommes waren ganz dünne. Somit passte für uns das Preis Leistung Verhältnis überhaupt nicht. Was uns grade ausfällt, unsere Essen passt überhaupt nicht mit dem hier gezeigten Bilder überein. Vielleicht war es einfach nur Pech Unser Besuch war am 19. Oktober gegen 13.30 Uhr. Was bitte ist daran eine falschausage? Googel selber glaube es dann an Hand von einen Kassenbeleg das wir da waren und meinte wir könnten neu bewerten.

Je ziet het eigenlijk al aan de buitenkant met lelijke reclameborden en een terras waar je niet echt vrolijk van wordt maar ja je hebt zin in een schnitzel dan ga je dus toch naar binnen. Daar is het wel iets gezelliger. Het eten was ok maar niet meer dan dat.

Oplichting… zaken aanrekenen die bij aankomst op tafel staan (potje met mayo en ketchup). Geen vermelding van prijzen hiervan maar bij afrekening goed doorgerekend . Wanneer we hierover iets zeggen horen we dat het de fout van de drukker is van de kaarten. Ga hier niet geen… is gericht op oplichten van toeristen.

Mi esposo y yo cogimos el entrante de camarón y el schnitzel y ambos estamos convencidos de que tuvimos intoxicación alimentaria ya que estábamos violentamente enfermos esa noche y todo el día siguiente. Nunca lo compararía remotamente con un asador de Manhattan, sino más bien como una trampa para turistas donde no les importa lo que te están dando de comer. ¡No vayas si esperas una cena de carne! ¡O cualquier cosa que quieras mantener abajo!

We have been coming here for 3 years. Super restaurant, good food & drinks, good ambiance and prices!!

Unfortunately our last entry was deleted due to a false statement or denial. We wrote that the food tasted like ready-made schnitzel, and there was a pepper sauce that tasted like gravy with peppercorns. The fries were very thin. So the price-performance ratio didn't suit us at all. What we're having at the moment is that our food doesn't match the pictures shown here at all. Maybe it was just bad luck Our visit was on October 19th around 1:30 p.m. What is a false statement about that? I googled it myself and believed it based on a receipt that we were there and said we could re-evaluate.

Overall, completely fine: friendly and attentive service, everyone had their food at the same time and it was easy to sit in the covered and heated outdoor area. However, the price of the food was a tad too high.

Racist restaurant. After I paid almost 100 euros for the dinner, and they still charge customer for 50 cents to go to the toilet. And they only do it to the Asians, there were white customers behind and the cleaning lady did not stop them and ask money. And when I complained and there is no compensation from the restaurant. The food is soso and they charge 14 euros per one cocktail. If you see this message, you should run to another restaurant! Terrible experience!!!

We had a great dinner and the staff was very attentive and friendly.

Went with my husband for dinner. He ordered a steak - it arrived a little undercooked, I ordered grilled chicken fillet. It was delicious. Portions are large, but not cheap.

Even though it was very cold outside, the heaters on the terrace made it so pleasant and cozy that you could enjoy these cocktails and the cocktail was very tasty

Had a delicious meal and a nice beer

Food was okay, burger sauce tasted a bit "cheap bottleded". Staff was not overly friendly but got their job done.

We were guests at the Manhattan again today and can only warmly recommend this location. From the reception to the service to the food (great cuisine) everything was simply perfect. Here the boss is still looking after his guests. Many thanks to the entire staff for the great evening. Keep it up.

We were queuing for Janes Schweinhaxe opposite but the queue didn't seem to be moving so we headed to Manhattan instead. A mix of cuisine, American beef burgers to pasta to German Pork Knuckle. The Gambas were excellent but too pricey at EUR17 for just 5 pcs. The Cheese Burger was nicely done, with melted cheese over a beef patty with a slight char, sandwiched in a fluffy bun. A generous portion for one so I'm glad we had a group to share with. The Grilled Chicken on the Chicken salad was on point, again a big portion but nicely done. I didn't like the yoghurt dressing on the salad though. The Pork Knuckle is a good size but not up to mark and a far cry from Janes just across it. Service was friendly and the outdoor seating was lovely in this cold weather with the heaters on (which resulted in the slightly red/orange photos). This place is still worth it for the burgers, value for money with great taste.

Das Manhattan liegt direkt in der Altstadt von Düsseldorf. Weil wir nicht ortskundig sind, hat ein Freund die Reservierung aufgrund der tollen Internetseite getätigt. Was positiv zu bewerten ist, dass die Gerichte, für eine Gruppe, sehr schnell kamen. Ich hatte trockenes Hähnchen und geschmacklosen Reis. Zum "Glück" wurde zu den Pommes der übrigen Mayonnaise und Ketchup in Tüten serviert. Das Restaurant ist für die üblichen Kegelclubs, Junggesellenabschiede usw. der Düsseldorfer Altstadt "ok". Was mich im Nachgang aber stört ist die Selbstpräsentation auf der, wirklich guten Internetseite, die Grundlage für die Reservierung war. Tut mir leid, so eine große Diskrepanz habe ich in noch keinem anderen "Restaurant" erlebt, nicht mal ansatzweise. Die tatsächlich servierten Gerichte sind deutlich unter dem Niveau wie es die Internetseite vermitteln möchte. Da wir Gerichte serviert bekommen haben, die allesamt knapp über Imbissniveau waren, komme ich mir getäuscht vor. Ich möchte erwähnen, dass dies meine persönliche, subjektive Meinung ist. Es kann jeder gerne für sich selbst die Internetseite mit den hier, nicht nur von mir, geposteten Bildern abgleichen. Wie gesagt, so eine Diskrepanz zwischen Internetauftritt und Realität habe ich noch nie erlebt.

The service was super nice, the food (in this case we had burgers) tasted okay in my opinion, but it's nothing special. I've eaten much better burgers. The burger buns were crispy, the fries were crispy and the salad was delicious, everything was fine, but the meat tasted really poor. It tasted unseasoned and very neutral :/
