Mangal Mezze & Grill in Saarbrücken

Wir waren schon mehrmals dort, immer sehr zufrieden. Es gibt so spezielle Geschmacksrichtungen, super leckere Mezze, toller Grill. Auch der Wein und das Ambiente gefallen uns sehr.

I just ate at this Turkish cuisine establishment. We had brunch and had a great time. A very pleasant and warm place. From the reception we were explained the concept and origin of the restaurant. The waitresses very calm and helpful. The Türk Kahvesi meal is a real delight. We plan to return with great pleasure

Great family-run restaurant with good cuisine and nice service!

My family and I enjoyed eating dinner here. The people who helped us were very hospitable and kind. We enjoyed their warm bread as appetizer, the dips that came with were also delicious. We ordered 2 grill plates that were meant for 4 people. We were with 5 people, but there was still some food left after we ate! The only thing we didn’t really like was that the only place where we could sit at the moment was by the staircase. But even then. The decorations and lighting of the atmosphere made it a lot better! If you reserve a table beforehand, you’ll probably be seated just fine! It’s a bit pricey to eat here. But if you like good food, a good atmosphere and nice people it shouldn’t really matter.

We got there late, only at 10 p.m. and were warmly welcomed and the kitchen served us everything on the menu. And I have to say the lamb skewer I ate was the best in recent years, tender and tasty, just a dream! The service was perfect!!! We will come back even if it takes a year. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

We have been to Mezze and Mangal Grill many times and are thrilled every time. The quality of the food is sensational, and the ambience, atmosphere, music and staff are consistently first class. The owners are incredibly warm and read your every wish. We always enjoy coming here. We particularly recommend the leg of lamb ‘Kuzu İncik’ – simply delicious! The breakfast, which we enjoyed several times over the weekend, is also absolutely heavenly.

Frankly, it's been a long time since I learned as well as here. If you are in Saarbrucken, don't hesitate. The prices may be a little excessive but at least we tell ourselves that they have the merit.

Very nice restaurant with outdoor seating on the Berlin promenade. Fine cuisine with high prices but very tasty and very nice service.

We recently discovered the restaurant while taking a walk along the Berlin promenade and stopped for a cocktail. We then felt like coming back for dinner today and were not disappointed. Nice ambience, comfortable seating and very tasty grilled food. Turkish cuisine has more to offer than just kebab and you can see that very impressively here. The prices are on the high side, but let's remember that lamb and beef fillet in particular are not among the cheapest ingredients... And for the quality we had on our plate, the prices were completely reasonable. Nice and friendly service from all employees. We'll be back.

There are 5 people in the restaurant. 3 people are in service and are only concerned with themselves. There is no one we can order from. After about 20 minutes we leave again.

Superb restaurant, we had an excellent lunch, the soup was really delicious, our meats were tender and tasty, the Mezze were very good and I thank the waitress Esra, she is incredibly kind and very attentive. The chef is top notch, I have nothing to complain about, it was excellent, I recommend this restaurant to everyone who can go there.

Very nice atmosphere. We were there spontaneously and therefore only had something to drink. The lovely waitress was very friendly and we felt very well taken care of! :) Generally there was great service. Nice atmosphere and comfortable upholstered seats. The menu has a lot of delicious things to offer so we will definitely be coming back to eat very soon.

Ambience very nice. At the beginning, service was very attentive and nice, after the meal we were hardly served. Glasses remained empty after half an hour... There was still a lot of room for improvement in taste, not particularly prepared, etc. It's a shame, but we probably won't come back.

The atmosphere, right on the Berlin promenade, is very nice and cozy. Unfortunately, our salad, which cost almost €20, was not prepared appropriately and was absolutely not a highlight of the restaurant in terms of taste. All in all, we imagined things to be a little different with the higher prices. Unfortunately my glass remained empty after half an hour. It's a real shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

Good evening, honestly it's a great restaurant that I recommend, we were welcomed by a wonderful waitress who was able to advise us very well even if she didn't speak French. And to talk about the cuisine, they have a great chef, the whole meal was good, we weren't disappointed that it was in terms of the meal and the welcome 😊

The food itself was solidly good. You can also sit well. But the portions for the price are really not fair. There wasn't even bread/pide or anything like that beforehand. The service was really nice and you could tell she was making an effort, but everything was very slow and took a long time. A coke never came and when they said that, they didn't even really say anything.

Great and very friendly staff. The food was very good. From the chicken breast to the lamb fillet to the Köfte minced meat roll, we had great dishes on the table. Highly recommended👍

A really excellent place to experience Turkish food. The dishes are carefully prepared and fine quality. We enjoyed six mezze and the deluxe mixed grill (at least two more people would have had an ample dinner with the generous portions). The restaurant is very stylish and the high quality of furnishings shows everywhere, from the comfortable seats to the delicate Zwiesel stemware. A Turkish red goes very well with all dishes. Had the opportunity to chat with the very engaging and cosmopolitan owner and enjoyed the conversation about Turkish food. Service is attentive and efficient.

Everything was fine at first, but when we got to the bill and told him that ketchup and mayonnaise were expensive, we were shocked because I had never paid anywhere before, and then when he said he would never see us again, it was not nice at all!

I'm more than thrilled. Went by spontaneously this evening with four people and got a table without any major problems. We then looked through the menu and found nothing, absolutely nothing that we could complain about. Flesh to the point. Grilled vegetables great. The starters are a poem. Staff super friendly and really very attentive. The price-performance ratio is right, especially in this day and age, which makes you more than happy. A large grill plate for two people with a rump steak, two lamb skewers, two lamb chops and two chicken skewers including fries, salad and grilled vegetables and two sauces for less than 70 euros. There is also a really cozy, inviting atmosphere with that slight holiday flair. We will definitely come back.

Very nice ambience and very friendly (but unfortunately sometimes almost a bit intrusive) service. Despite the description of the variety of flavors on the menu, the food was not exceptionally tasty, but rather standard, sometimes a bit bland. The fish advertised was m.m.n. not fresh, but frozen. In addition, the price-performance ratio does not fit otherwise. Just under €20 for a salad with goat cheese, which consists of at least 90% tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers and onions and just one (albeit large and very tasty) slice of cheese, is definitely too much! We also waited a long time for our food, even though there really wasn't much going on.

A different culinary experience. Very authentic food and incredibly tasty. I was actually already full, but had to try a dessert because everything was so delicious 😂 The price-performance ratio was definitely good and the service was also great. We'll definitely be back! ✌🏻

Slow afternoon with many empty tables. We were sitting in the OUTside seating area along the water side further from the restaurant. I check the women’s WC for a baby changing table and did not see one. We needed to change our son so we do and as we are finishing up a waiter came and told us we cannot change our 6 month old baby on the table (he was on his changing pad). Does he not realize that birds poop outside and a baby has a changing pad, diaper & clothes on? But the lady sitting two tables down can have her dog in the chair eating from the table? He didn’t come that fast when it was time to take our order. Then when we wanted to leave after this joke, we go to pay inside because our waitress never came back. They said it was all online and the waiter would come. Then 10 minutes later and waving him down a third waiter comes and we pay. What a joke!

My partner and I had the pleasure of visiting Mangal Restaurant and opting for the mixed grill plate for two and an Akdeniz salad. It was a real treat! The grill plate was rich and the different types of meat were all perfectly prepared - juicy, tender and aromatic. The refreshing Akdeniz salad went perfectly with it and rounded off the taste experience. Particularly noteworthy is the excellent service that we were able to enjoy. Our waiter was extremely attentive, polite and always had a smile on his face. He made sure that we didn't miss anything and made our evening a completely successful experience. Overall, we highly recommend Mangal Restaurant and look forward to returning soon. A big thank you to the entire team for an unforgettable evening!
