Mangal Mezze & Grill in Saarbrücken

Very nice restaurant with super delicious food. Meat lovers will definitely get their money's worth here :)

My husband Cafer Sezginer and I had the great pleasure of visiting Mangal Mezze and Grill restaurant and all I can say is it was an absolute revelation! Everything was perfect from start to finish - a place where Turkish food, hospitality and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony. The food: The meat was spot on – tender, juicy and full of flavor. You can immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here and that the kitchen team knows their craft. The side dishes and salads were also fresh, delicately seasoned and an ideal complement to the meat. The service: The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and yet subtle – just the right balance. All wishes were fulfilled before you could even say them, and the warmth of the staff made the visit even more special. Cleanliness: Mangal Mezze and Grill was also completely convincing when it came to cleanliness. The toilet areas were immaculately maintained and left a very positive impression. It shows that every detail is paid attention to. Ambience: The ambience in the restaurant was stylish and inviting - a mix of modern design and oriental flair. The music was pleasant and added to the relaxed atmosphere without being intrusive. Here you immediately feel at home and can spend an evening full of enjoyment in a relaxed environment. Conclusion: A perfect restaurant that I can fully recommend. Mangal Mezze and Grill impressed in every respect - from the quality of the food to the service and the ambience. I'll definitely be back and I'm already looking forward to my next visit! 5 out of 5 stars!

Actually even better than just the 5 stars... Maybe. By far the tastiest meat I've had the pleasure of eating... Nice and friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The Turkish melody that sounds in your ears doesn't bother you at all and you can have a good chat with your loved ones. I will visit the store again...

We were very, very positively surprised by this restaurant, the excellent and very friendly service and the excellent quality of the food. Yes, it is a little more expensive, but good quality has a different price. The ingredients were all fresh, the taste was a highlight and we felt absolutely comfortable. The meat was grilled to perfection. It's a shame that we've only discovered this highlight now. We'll definitely come more often.

First to eat, we had two barbecue plates and every meat was grilled to the point, everything was top taste 👍 The service was very attentive, courteous and above all friendly. Everyone has a smile on their face If you don't feel comfortable here, you won't feel comfortable anywhere. We will be happy to come back.

Our visit to Mangal Restaurant was an overall pleasant experience, although there were a few minor challenges. Of particular note was the quality of the meat, the appetizers and cocktails, which were truly outstanding. They really impressed us with their taste and presentation and definitely enriched the overall experience. Even though the service was a little slower this time and the meat wasn't quite cooked to our liking, we would like to emphasize that the staff was always friendly and eager to help us. The salad could perhaps have been a little "peppier", but the overall appearance of the dishes was still appealing and a culinary experience for the palate. The decoration for the wedding wasn't quite what we had imagined at first. But the restaurant gave us the opportunity to do a little bit of work ourselves, so that the room ended up looking very festive and beautiful. It's pleasing that they gave us so much freedom to design the room according to our ideas. Conclusion: Despite minor discrepancies, overall it was a very nice evening. We are confident that the restaurant will impress you again on your next visit.

We had an excellent meal, were served very courteously and enjoyed the beautiful ambience! The prices are appropriate for the quality. We drank a very nice Turkish red wine and white wine from the Saar. Excellent!

The starters are amazing! Service was absolutely wonderful and friendly. Enjoy the chicken skewers shared on a date night and can’t wait to come back.

There is no food that describes our culture, it appeals to modernized foreigners, besides there is a bar at the entrance, people drink when they enter and get drunk when they leave….. the food is not satisfying, I say it's a shame for your money.

I was very pleasantly surprised, from the drink to the service and food, 10 plus, I recommend the best restaurant in town.

I called Mangal and asked if they offered kosher meat... Yes, it said! For this reason I won't celebrate my birthday there because I find this undignified way of slaughter disgusting! My friends and family see it that way too... Had to tick a few things below, otherwise my comment wouldn't be included 🤷‍♀️

I just ate at this Turkish cuisine establishment. We had brunch and had a great time. A very pleasant and warm place. From the reception we were explained the concept and origin of the restaurant. The waitresses very calm and helpful. The Türk Kahvesi meal is a real delight. We plan to return with great pleasure

Great family-run restaurant with good cuisine and nice service!

My family and I enjoyed eating dinner here. The people who helped us were very hospitable and kind. We enjoyed their warm bread as appetizer, the dips that came with were also delicious. We ordered 2 grill plates that were meant for 4 people. We were with 5 people, but there was still some food left after we ate! The only thing we didn’t really like was that the only place where we could sit at the moment was by the staircase. But even then. The decorations and lighting of the atmosphere made it a lot better! If you reserve a table beforehand, you’ll probably be seated just fine! It’s a bit pricey to eat here. But if you like good food, a good atmosphere and nice people it shouldn’t really matter.

We got there late, only at 10 p.m. and were warmly welcomed and the kitchen served us everything on the menu. And I have to say the lamb skewer I ate was the best in recent years, tender and tasty, just a dream! The service was perfect!!! We will come back even if it takes a year. Greetings from Austria 🇦🇹

We have been to Mezze and Mangal Grill many times and are thrilled every time. The quality of the food is sensational, and the ambience, atmosphere, music and staff are consistently first class. The owners are incredibly warm and read your every wish. We always enjoy coming here. We particularly recommend the leg of lamb ‘Kuzu İncik’ – simply delicious! The breakfast, which we enjoyed several times over the weekend, is also absolutely heavenly.

Frankly, it's been a long time since I learned as well as here. If you are in Saarbrucken, don't hesitate. The prices may be a little excessive but at least we tell ourselves that they have the merit.

We recently discovered the restaurant while taking a walk along the Berlin promenade and stopped for a cocktail. We then felt like coming back for dinner today and were not disappointed. Nice ambience, comfortable seating and very tasty grilled food. Turkish cuisine has more to offer than just kebab and you can see that very impressively here. The prices are on the high side, but let's remember that lamb and beef fillet in particular are not among the cheapest ingredients... And for the quality we had on our plate, the prices were completely reasonable. Nice and friendly service from all employees. We'll be back.

There are 5 people in the restaurant. 3 people are in service and are only concerned with themselves. There is no one we can order from. After about 20 minutes we leave again.

1 bis 2 Stunden warte Zeit. Ich war 2 mal dort. Beide war gleich. Essen ist lecker. Kellner sind ok. Aber Wartezeit ekstrem soviel.

Superb restaurant, we had an excellent lunch, the soup was really delicious, our meats were tender and tasty, the Mezze were very good and I thank the waitress Esra, she is incredibly kind and very attentive. The chef is top notch, I have nothing to complain about, it was excellent, I recommend this restaurant to everyone who can go there.

Very nice atmosphere. We were there spontaneously and therefore only had something to drink. The lovely waitress was very friendly and we felt very well taken care of! :) Generally there was great service. Nice atmosphere and comfortable upholstered seats. The menu has a lot of delicious things to offer so we will definitely be coming back to eat very soon.

The atmosphere, right on the Berlin promenade, is very nice and cozy. Unfortunately, our salad, which cost almost €20, was not prepared appropriately and was absolutely not a highlight of the restaurant in terms of taste. All in all, we imagined things to be a little different with the higher prices. Unfortunately my glass remained empty after half an hour. It's a real shame, unfortunately we won't be coming back.

The food itself was solidly good. You can also sit well. But the portions for the price are really not fair. There wasn't even bread/pide or anything like that beforehand. The service was really nice and you could tell she was making an effort, but everything was very slow and took a long time. A coke never came and when they said that, they didn't even really say anything.

A really excellent place to experience Turkish food. The dishes are carefully prepared and fine quality. We enjoyed six mezze and the deluxe mixed grill (at least two more people would have had an ample dinner with the generous portions). The restaurant is very stylish and the high quality of furnishings shows everywhere, from the comfortable seats to the delicate Zwiesel stemware. A Turkish red goes very well with all dishes. Had the opportunity to chat with the very engaging and cosmopolitan owner and enjoyed the conversation about Turkish food. Service is attentive and efficient.

Everything was fine at first, but when we got to the bill and told him that ketchup and mayonnaise were expensive, we were shocked because I had never paid anywhere before, and then when he said he would never see us again, it was not nice at all!

I'm more than thrilled. Went by spontaneously this evening with four people and got a table without any major problems. We then looked through the menu and found nothing, absolutely nothing that we could complain about. Flesh to the point. Grilled vegetables great. The starters are a poem. Staff super friendly and really very attentive. The price-performance ratio is right, especially in this day and age, which makes you more than happy. A large grill plate for two people with a rump steak, two lamb skewers, two lamb chops and two chicken skewers including fries, salad and grilled vegetables and two sauces for less than 70 euros. There is also a really cozy, inviting atmosphere with that slight holiday flair. We will definitely come back.
