Very good restaurant. The dishes are quality. The prices are a bit high, that's my opinion. The waitresses are very friendly and smiling.

The food was very good but for the price we would have liked a little something extra. But that's complaining at a high level, the kitchen did a good job. The cocktails were exceptionally good! The service was okay but unfortunately seemed very slow and was only attentive at the beginning, which is a shame. Nice atmosphere and very comfortable!

This is my second visit to Mangal Mezze Grill in Saarbrücken, and I'm absolutely thrilled! The dishes are fresh, authentic, and prepared with great attention to detail. Delicious food and attentive friendly service. There were four of us in this lovely restaurant and we received a warm welcome. There is a wide variety of dishes. We ordered Cocktails Istanbul, starter Rakı tabağı, Büyük Meze tabağı and as a main course a grill plate for 2 people Mangal Izgara Deluxe and Tavuk Şiş Freshly grilled marinated chicken skewer. The food was freshly prepared, of high quality and prepared on the charcoal grill to be spicy and aromatic.

Absolutely great breakfast. Rarely have I tried such good scrambled eggs. Fresh bread and great selection. In addition, very good and friendly service and a great ambience. For Saarbrücken a special star for gastronomy

Very tasty and authentic breakfast. I have rarely eaten something so delicious for breakfast. The ambience is super nice and sitting outside is wonderful. I had dinner in this restaurant for the first time with a work colleague this evening. 2 x medium beef steak including 2 side dishes of salads and potato-rosemary puree. Both steaks were not medium rare but well done! Both steaks were extremely tough and like bubble gum! The waitress wasn't interested, just embarrassing! Ambience is ok, the rest is a disaster!

We were there today with 19 people for our son's 18th birthday. Everything was fine. Great, friendly service, fresh, beautifully prepared food. All around a great experience. We'll definitely be back.

The setting is magnificent. The cuisine is nothing exceptional, frankly expensive for what you get on the plate. The same dish, more generous and much cheaper and even better in many Turkish restaurants nearby.

I was visiting Saarbrücken with friends and we visited the restaurant for dinner. The starters and main course were varied, fresh and really tasty! Because we were so excited, we came back for breakfast the next day. There was a large selection here that left nothing to be desired - the staff was extremely friendly and accommodating - we would love to come back!

Extremely friendly staff, accommodating, nice atmosphere and fantastic food

We were there for Valentine's Day. The first round of drinks worked well. We were asked if we could continue with the main course, which we said yes! 1.5 hours later the main course came. My wife ordered a red wine for the main course, which was never brought. However, my wife's steak came to our table cold. When the dessert came I asked if the pear I got was alcohol-free as it looked to me like it had been marinated or cooked in red wine. The service person said, “Just a moment, I’ll ask.” When I still didn’t get an answer after an hour, we ordered the bill and I left my dessert behind. We paid just under €180, we were there from 6:30 p.m. to 11:45 p.m. and I only got a 0.2 cola because no one ever asked if we wanted anything else! The couple next to us got the wrong courses 4-5 times, which was the only unfortunate thing in this restaurant. When we left hungry and thirsty, a waitress said, “See you next time.” Unfortunately that won't happen!

A very nice and very attentive team. Very tasty coffee and simply delicious breakfast. One of the best places in the city for breakfast. Always worth a visit.

Very sumptuous, delicious breakfast, in a great ambience, with Turkish specialties that you should definitely try. Good service, presenting the specialties in an appetizing way and answering questions competently and politely. This first random Turkish breakfast was very impressive and definitely won't be the last.

If you want to enjoy "real" Turkish cuisine, you can be disappointed even on the Bosphorus if you look for it in tourist areas - let's not even talk about local kebab shops. How lucky that the “Mangal” has been in Saarbrücken for some time now. Here, real chefs who have learned and perfected their craft in Turkey conjure up delicacies every evening that show us the variety of tastes and quality of oriental food culture. After appetizing starters ("mezze") - from hummus to eggplant to chicken paste - we ordered a seafood casserole and lamb skewers, which were a delight for both the eyes and the palate. The positive impression was reinforced by an always attentive, never intrusive service, which patiently answered even the most amateur questions. The icing on the cake is the ambience with a high-quality lounge feel and a view of the kitchen, which is shielded from smells behind a glass wall. Finally, the view of the Saar and the city highway behind it, which gave the guest from Saarbrücken that evening not noise and hectic but a metropolis feeling. What more could you want?

In a modern and very calming setting you will have a very pleasant time, I have the feeling of taking a trip to Turkey You will be kindly welcomed by Esra and her team, a warm and friendly, attentive staff, all at your service, with recommendations according to your desires (know how to present the dishes and the flavors and knowledge of the compositions thereof). For those who want to discover real Turkish cuisine you will not be disappointed, on the contrary. A real Turkish cook prepares the dishes. The drinks menu offers Turkish wines and Raki that you can taste.

Update: After I had already been a guest here with my family (review below), my work colleagues decided, at my suggestion, to celebrate our end of the year here. We all had a very good time and would like to highlight the THREE COURSE MENU at this point. You did a great job. We had a nice meal overall. Service was polite, but a bit slow. Staff were very friendly and could speak English. Portions are generous. Meat for me however was a bit dry. Turkish wine was good. Really liked the salads which were accompanying main meals.Ice cream was really nice.

The service was not pleasant and we felt unwelcome. The prices are absolutely exorbitant. I ordered a Caesar salad which cost €20 - that's way too expensive for what was on offer.

The atmosphere was particularly nice, very relaxed and friendly. If you want it to be completely quiet, you're in the wrong place here, but it wasn't loud either. The food was excellent, the wine selection is also very good! The service is attentive and courteous. In addition, you don't feel rushed while eating like you often do in other restaurants. Vegetarians will find a solid and tasty selection, but meat eaters will be particularly happy. Absolute recommendation!

Hello. When I first set foot in Germany, I started to think about where I could eat food that reflected our culture. I went to Barbeque Grille upon recommendation. I was quite satisfied. Even though I have been in gastronomy for years, I could not find any negatives. Friendly staff, a cute and warm environment, delicious food. A place where you can easily host your guests. . Sehr schönes Restaurant mit Stil. Sehr freundliches Team und guter Service. Essen sehr ausgewählt und extrem geschmackvoll. Die Lammhaxe ist nach 3-4 Stunden schonendem Garen butterweich und fällt locker vom Knochen. Extrem gut!!!

In my opinion, the Mangal restaurant is one of the best restaurants in Saarland. We were guests several times in the evening and also for breakfast. The service was always exceptionally good, friendly and completely satisfactory. The food is a highlight and we enjoyed everything very much. It's just great that everything revolves around the real, local Turkish cuisine and that there are no mass-produced and/or would-be Turkish specialties on offer. We are completely satisfied and can recommend a visit to Mangal to everyone. We will definitely come back and become regular customers.

Brunch and dinner were very tasty, especially the breakfast selection is very extensive with many Turkish specialties. The service was also very nice. Absolutely recommended!

I really enjoyed my experience at this restaurant. The meat was good and tender, the portion for two people was perfectly adequate. The dessert, a San Sebastian cake, was really delicious, but I didn't like the chocolate taste as much, which didn't match my personal preferences. Overall, a great discovery!

It is a Turkish restaurant but really different from other Turkish restaurants. I had one of the best steaks in this restaurant. The meat was well seasoned and cooked medium well. I recommend the mangal biftek.

Starters were top, as was the dessert. There are no complaints here. But for the main course I had entrecote with dried plums. Pulled beef came with some kind of risotto. Service also seems to be completely overwhelmed now during the Christmas season. Drink orders take over 30 minutes. Something has to change...

Everything was perfect from start to finish - a place where Turkish food, hospitality and atmosphere come together in perfect harmony. The food: The meat was spot on – tender, juicy and full of flavor. You can immediately tell that only high-quality ingredients are used here and that the kitchen team knows their craft. The side dishes and salads were also fresh, delicately seasoned and an ideal complement to the meat. The service: The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive and yet subtle – just the right balance. All wishes were fulfilled before you could even say them, and the warmth of the staff made the visit even more special. Cleanliness: Mangal Mezze and Grill was also completely convincing when it came to cleanliness. The toilet areas were immaculately maintained and left a very positive impression. It shows that every detail is paid attention to. Ambience: The ambience in the restaurant was stylish and inviting - a mix of modern design and oriental flair. The music was pleasant and added to the relaxed atmosphere without being intrusive. You immediately feel at home here and can spend an evening full of enjoyment in a relaxed environment. Conclusion: A perfect restaurant that I can fully recommend. Mangal Mezze and Grill impressed in every respect - from the quality of the food to the service and the ambience. Actually even better than just the 5 stars... Maybe. By far the tastiest meat I've had the pleasure of eating... Nice and friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The Turkish melody that sounds in your ears doesn't bother you at all and you can have a good chat with your loved ones. I will visit the store again...

We were very, very positively surprised by this restaurant, the excellent and very friendly service and the excellent quality of the food. Yes, it is a little more expensive, but good quality has a different price. The ingredients were all fresh, the taste was a highlight and we felt absolutely comfortable. The meat was grilled to perfection. It's a shame that we've only discovered this highlight now. We'll definitely come back more often.

First to eat, we had two barbecue plates and every meat was grilled to the point, everything was top taste 👍 The service was very attentive, courteous and above all friendly. Everyone has a smile on their face If you don't feel comfortable here, you won't feel comfortable anywhere. We will be happy to come back.

Our visit to Mangal Restaurant was an overall pleasant experience, although there were a few minor challenges. Of particular note was the quality of the meat, the appetizers and cocktails, which were truly outstanding. They really impressed us with their taste and presentation and definitely enriched the overall experience. Even though the service was a little slower this time and the meat wasn't quite cooked to our liking, we would like to emphasize that the staff was always friendly and eager to help us. The salad could perhaps have been a little "peppier", but the overall appearance of the dishes was still appealing and a culinary experience for the palate. The decoration for the wedding wasn't quite what we had imagined at first. But the restaurant gave us the opportunity to do a little bit of work ourselves, so that the room ended up looking very festive and beautiful. It's pleasing that they gave us so much freedom to design the room according to our ideas. Conclusion: Despite minor discrepancies, overall it was a very nice evening. We are confident that the restaurant will impress you again on your next visit.

There is no food that describes our culture, it appeals to modernized foreigners, besides there is a bar at the entrance, people drink when they enter and get drunk when they leave….. the food is not satisfying, I say it's a shame for your money.

I called Mangal and asked if they offered kosher meat... Yes, it said! For this reason I won't celebrate my birthday there because I find this undignified way of slaughter disgusting! My friends and family see it that way too... Had to tick a few things below, otherwise my comment wouldn't be included 🤷‍♀️

I just ate at this Turkish cuisine establishment. We had brunch and had a great time. A very pleasant and warm place. From the reception we were explained the concept and origin of the restaurant. The waitresses very calm and helpful. The Türk Kahvesi meal is a real delight. We plan to return with great pleasure

Great family-run restaurant with good cuisine and nice service!

My family and I enjoyed eating dinner here. The people who helped us were very hospitable and kind. We enjoyed their warm bread as appetizer, the dips that came with were also delicious. We ordered 2 grill plates that were meant for 4 people. We were with 5 people, but there was still some food left after we ate! The only thing we didn’t really like was that the only place where we could sit at the moment was by the staircase. But even then. The decorations and lighting of the atmosphere made it a lot better! If you reserve a table beforehand, you’ll probably be seated just fine! It’s a bit pricey to eat here. But if you like good food, a good atmosphere and nice people it shouldn’t really matter.

We got there late, only at 10 p.m. and were warmly welcomed and the kitchen served us everything on the menu. We have been to Mezze and Mangal Grill many times and are thrilled every time. The quality of the food is sensational, and the ambience, atmosphere, music and staff are consistently first class. The owners are incredibly warm and read your every wish. We always enjoy coming here. We particularly recommend the leg of lamb ‘Kuzu İncik’ – simply delicious! The breakfast, which we enjoyed several times over the weekend, is also absolutely heavenly.
