Everything is right here. Right in the pedestrian zone. Lots of tables outside. Very friendly, attentive staff. Extra requests will be taken into account. The meat (lamb) was well seasoned. Salad crisp and fresh. Toilets clean.

The food was delicious, but we were ignored and orders were forgotten. The waiters brought the food first, but we couldn't start eating because the cutlery was missing.

Very tasty Turkish dishes from the charcoal grill. The dishes were very well seasoned and you could taste the grill. We really liked it :)

A nicely decorated restaurant with terrace. We only had a drink here so we can't judge the food. When we wanted to pay the waitress said when I wanted to pay with card that they rather want to have cash. I said that we didn't have cash so we wanted to use card. From then on smashed the paying terminal on the desk and shouted "CARD HERE". We paid 9 euro's 10 for 2 drinks. Never again.

I didn't like lamb before - I do now!

We were in Leer at the beautiful Keramic Market. We had dinner at Mangal a long time ago. And even though it was very busy that day, we got a nice seat and were served quickly. The food (a casserole) was very tasty and fresh. We can highly recommend this restaurant - especially if you like delicious Turkish cuisine. The food brings back a little holiday feeling. Good thing - keep it up. we will be back !

Excellent food. Rarely enjoyed such good Turkish cuisine. The kebab meat is super tasty and perfectly seasoned. Anyone who likes lamb should try Beyti! Who would have thought that you would find something like this in Leer. I'm not from East Frisia, but if I ever go back, I'll definitely come here again. Absolute recommendation!

Nice service, questions about the dishes are answered in detail. Starter Börek came with salad and yogurt: very tasty. Minced lamb skewer was excellent, not too salty as is often the case in other restaurants. The salad tasted wonderfully fresh, a little like lemon, a little sweet, just right for me. Plus yogurt, bulgur and grilled tomatoes: an all-round successful combination. A glass of Merlot and a personal conversation with the young managing director rounded off the visit. I would have liked the music to be a little quieter. Always my pleasure! See you next time!

Attractive atmosphere, friendly service staff. But simple (not bad), probably traditional preparation of our lamb skewers. Our starters weren't worth the money. The wine selection and prices are ok.

Unfortunately I couldn't tolerate the food at all and had to go to the doctor because of the food - that was the first and last visit.

The restaurant is just perfect! It's our new favorite restaurant and we always eat here now. Mega delicious food and also plenty of food with a great selection. The furnishings and the restaurant itself are really very modern, you just feel right at home, partly because the staff warmly welcomes you. Clear recommendation for everyone!

It was my first time in Mangal. A good decision, although in places like Leer (East Frisia) I tend to lean more towards the local topic of fish. But Turkish as a change was very good. I had lamb skewer with bulgur and salad. There was also the typical bread. Certainly not the best I've ever had but definitely very good. The food was very tasty and the portion for €18.90 was fair and filling, even without a starter. The wine also tasted good. A very nice atmosphere inside. But I was lucky enough to get a table in the outdoor restaurant in the great weather. Very friendly and attentive staff. Everything was great👍😃 Update May 2024: today I was here for the second time. I ate the same dish as last time. It was really very tasty again. However, the price has risen from €18.90 to €23.90 within a year. That's more than 25% or €5. That's quite an announcement. The portion remained the same. However, instead of three slices of bread there were only two... Everything was still okay but in terms of development it was borderline...

Was there with my mother, sister and nephew for lunch. Staff was friendly and helpful, the menu was fairly large and it was almost hard to pick something since everything sounded great. The food, straight up, was great. Genuinely one of the best dining out experiences I've had recently. Portion size was generous to the point we didn't manage to eat everything and had the rest bagged up. A clear recommendation.

We didn't like it at all. The taste of the food was okay, but not much better than in a good snack bar. But significantly more expensive. Portion sizes were meager. The 0.4 l Ayran was certainly between 0.2 and 0.3. I would have liked the waitress to have pointed out when ordering that what I was ordering was unsuitable for a small child because of the spiciness. In general, the service was a complete disaster: no greeting, no farewell, no please or thank you, not a hint of friendliness. Completely wrong. Tables outside very close together. Quite tight even for very slim children. Unfortunately, there were also guests smoking at the neighboring tables and, last but not least, pushy street musicians who expected money for their "performance" (which I didn't ask them for). We certainly won't go there again and won't recommend it to anyone.

Well, it wasn't the best experience. Food was super super dry, and the service didn't even say anything. To each his own, but we definitely won't come here again. Price was also super high for such dry meat. PS. Better get yourself a kebab etc. at your kebab shop around the corner.

It's a legendary place, the staff are attentive and friendly, the food is delicious and it's definitely worth the money.

Very bad, none of the dishes tasted lame, dry, salty and expensive for such dishes, a children's kebab plate charged €6.50 and there was hardly anything on it, sad etc... Not recommendable. Never again...

Mangal Leer has been offering very good quality for years and the food always tastes very good! The furnishings are also very appealing - very modern and yet not cold looking! The staff is not artificial, but authentic, discreetly friendly and professional in their work!

We actually wanted to leave straight away because the service was unfriendly and couldn't get our teeth apart. We also found the floor very dirty. I didn't know where to put my bag. The service didn't get any friendlier, but the food was good. We won't be coming back.

Today wasn't the first time we ate at Mangal and it certainly won't be the last time!!! The food was, as always, very tasty. Everything freshly prepared. We had the lentil soup in advance👌👍 and pide with sucuk and egg and chicken strips with bulgur and bread. Really very tasty😇 Unfortunately, our son has some food allergies (anaphylaxis). It is particularly bad with chicken eggs and nuts. It's a bit difficult...But he was also very happy with his fries😃 Everything is very clean there and the service staff was really very attentive! Thank you again 🙂 See you soon...

Einwirklich gutes Team mit Jahrzehnte langer Erfahrung. Ich bin e ht gern dort wenn ich in de4 Nähe bin.

Im Wesentlichen Variationen von gegrilltem Hühnchen und Lamm. Sehr lecker. Freundliche Bedienung. Abends auch in der Woche oft voll - daher besser einen Tisch reservieren. Die Akustik hat leider etwas von Bahnhofshalle. Im Sommer kann man schön draußen sitzen.

Geschmacklich sehr gut, freundliche Bedienung, modernes Ambiente, lebe leider sehr weit weg sonst würde ich wieder kommen. Es bleibt eine positive Erinnerung

Das Essen können wir dieses Mal nicht bewerten da wir keins bekommen haben bzw. Wir vergessen wurden. Es wurde versucht sich zu entschuldigen, dies wurde mit einem Vorspeisen Teller begleitet 3 Soßen auf einem Teller was einfach sehr lieblos und auf die Schnelle daher kam. Anbei der Satz: wir haben gesehen ihr esst ja noch gar, da ist uns aufgefallen das ihr noch gar nicht esst. Dauert auch nicht lange wir fangen jetzt an zu kochen. Daraufhin sind wir dann auch los und mussten uns zwangsläufig bei dem großen M was zu essen holen. Man hätte einfach etwas freundlicher mit uns reden können und der Vorspeisen Teller hätte nach mehr Motivation aussehen dürfen. Dann wären wir auch geblieben. So kommen wir aber erstmal nicht wieder vielleicht in ein zwei Jahren wieder um zu schauen ob sich was verändert hat.
