Schlechtes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis und ein unverschämter Besitzer

Ausgezeichnete türkische Küche. Eine große Auswahl an Gerichten, großzügige Portionen und hervorragender Geschmack. Die Gerichte sind frisch, gut gewürzt, und das Fleisch ist saftig und perfekt zubereitet. Wir waren schon mehrmals dort, und jedes Mal war das Essen von hoher Qualität.

Das Mangal befindet sich in der Fußgängerzone von Leer und serviert türkische Küche. Beim Betreten des Restaurants wurde uns gesagt, dass wir uns einen Platz aussuchen könnten. Die Bestellung wurde schnell aufgenommen und das Essen kam zügig an unseren Tisch. Sowohl der Vorspeisenteller als auch die Pide und der Döner Iskender waren sehr lecker. Das Ambiente des Restaurants ist modern und einladend. Eigentlich eine runde Sache, wenn da nicht ein störender Faktor gewesen wäre. Der Service war zwar schnell und aufmerksam, aber wir hatten irgendwie nicht das Gefühl, willkommen zu sein. Das war eher nüchtern professionell. Trotzdem würden wir das Restaurant wieder besuchen, denn das Essen war auf jeden Fall gut.

Das Essen war gut und hat wirklich 5 Sterne verdient aber die Eingangstür ist das Manko an dem Restaurant. Die Tür knallte bei jedem schließen sehr laut zu und sie wurde sehr oft geöffnet und geschlossen weil draußen auch noch Gäste waren.

Zweiter Besuch im Mangal. Wie beim Ersten mal alles allerbesten. Ambiente, freundlicher Service und reichliche und sehr leckere Speisen. Dort sollte jeder mal bei einem Besuch in Leer essen gehen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr schick eingerichtet,sieht man selten.Nur sitzt man auch sehr nah mit dem Nachbartisch zussmmen.( wer seine Mitmenschen mag,wird damit wohl keine Probleme haben) Service auch sehr freundlich. Essen ja sehr lecker aber wahrscheinlich nicht für jeden, ich brauchte tatsächlich etwas bis ich was gefunden hatte.Trotzdem lecker. Was ich doof fand,das man nicht am Tisch bezahlen kann. Man musste dafür zur Kasse und wenn da schon wieder Leute warten wirds dann doch kuschelig,mir persönlich zu kuschelig.Ansonsten werden wir bestimmt noch mal hingehen da der Service doch überzeugend ist

Wir sind extra aus den Niederlanden zum Shoppen angereist und haben uns während unseres Besuchs spontan entschieden, Kebab und Raki zu essen. Wir hatten einen Grillteller, und alles war sehr lecker. Einziger Kritikpunkt: Das Baklava hat uns nicht so gut geschmeckt. Trotzdem vielen Dank für die Mühe! Ich habe meinen Kebab und meinen Raki genossen und werde auf jeden Fall wiederkommen, wenn ich in der Gegend bin. Die Portionen sind wirklich großzügig.

Wir waren mit einer Gruppe von 4 Personen zum Essen da. Das Restaurant ist gemütlich eingerichtet und man wird herzlich empfangen. Alles ist sehr aufgeräumt und sauber. Das Essen ist sehr lecker. Alles wird frisch zubereitet und die Portionen laden zum sattessen ein. Ich hatte den Iskender Döner, den ich nur empfehlen kann und der mich besser gefiel als in vielen anderen Restaurants. Die Getränkeauswahl ist auch sehr üppig und es sollte für jeden etwas zu finden sein. Eine vorherige Reservierung ist sinnvoll, da das restaurant sehr gut besucht ist. Auch bei vollem Restaurant kann man sich noch gut unterhalten, auch wenn der Geräuschpegel schon höher ist. Gerne kommen wir wieder zum Essen.

Mega leckeres Essen, ich habe die gebratenen Champignons mit Salat und Bulgur gegessen, sehr köstlich! Das Peronal ist sehr freundlich, das Ambiente sehr gemütlich. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Gestern telefonisch einen Platz für 2 reserviert. Tisch in 45 Minuten. Extra aus Emden hin gefahren, nur damit wir da rein gehen und der Herr mir sagt, dass unser Name nicht auf der Liste steht und wir keinen Platz haben und wieder gehen müssen. Respektlos und unprofessionell. Eine verlässliche Organisation von Reservierungen ist das Minimum. Essen ist eigentlich top, aber da werde ich nach dieser Respektlosigkeit nie wieder hin fahren.

Sehr schönes Restaurant, mit Tischbedienung. Das Restaurant ist immer gut gefüllt und kein Tisch bleibt lange leer. Tische können reserviert werden. Außerdem sind die Mitarbeiter sehr freundlich und das Essen unfassbar lecker. Vom Tisch bis zum Essen ist alles schön hergerichtet und die Preise sind auch gut. Außerdem sind die Toiletten sehr sauber. Alles in allem ein super Restaurant mit spitzenmäßigem Essen und gutem Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Sehr gutes Angebot an Speisen und Getränken. Da es komplett besetzt war, war es etwas lauter. Aber das lag nur an den Gästen.

Selten so gutes Grillfleisch gegessen wie hier. Hatte die gemischte Grillplatte und das Fleisch war wirklich auf den Punkt. Dazu Salat und Reis. Mal keine Pommes als Standardbeilage. Sehr zu empfehlen.

Das Personal war äußerst unfreundlich. Anstatt „Nein!“ und „Reserviert!“ zu rufen, hätte man höflich darauf hinweisen können, dass kein Platz mehr frei ist. Ein Kurs in Kundenservice und Kommunikation, zumindest für diesen einen Mitarbeiter, wäre ratsam gewesen. Ansonsten wirkten die Einrichtung und die Atmosphäre in Ordnung.

Ich habe schon lange nicht mehr so gut gegessen und das zu fairen Preisen. Das Personal ist äußerst freundlich und zuvorkommend. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

The restaurant, located right in the pedestrian zone, is very stylish, and the staff was truly attentive and friendly. The menu selection is rather limited, especially if you don't like lamb. However, we found something we liked, and it was delicious. The only downside is the price-to-portion ratio. Almost €15 was too much for a slice of bread with some doner meat on it. The restaurant is special, and we'd gladly come back! Though not as often as we'd like.

Mangal in Leer is a true gem. The ambiance is strikingly beautiful – small, cozy, and designed with meticulous attention to detail. Anyone in Leer looking for a restaurant that combines quality, flavor, and atmosphere should definitely visit Mangal. A true hidden gem – and definitely one of the best restaurants in town!

The food tasted good, but was quite expensive considering the portion size. Compared to another location in Oldenburg, they offer larger portions at a lower price, and the overall quality was better. Furthermore, the restaurant was rather chilly; a more comfortable room temperature or some heating would have made the experience much more pleasant.

No.26 is my meal of choice. Fantastic plate of mixed grilled meats with bread,rice and salad. All for €26. €3.80 for a large beer (500ml) Can't recommend this pace enough. I love it

The food was excellent and the dishes tasted good; we certainly enjoyed it. Unfortunately, we were very disappointed with the service. We found the staff rude and unfriendly, which didn't enhance the atmosphere at the table. What was most disturbing was that, at the end of our meal, we were suddenly asked to finish because a group would be arriving in ten minutes. This was communicated in a rather forceful manner, even though we hadn't been told about the limited time at the table upon arrival. If we had known this, we might have been able to take it into account or choose a different time. All in all, it's a shame, because the food itself was definitely worth it. However, the way we were approached makes us reluctant to return.

We had a fantastic meal. Highly recommended. You do need to book in advance. We'll definitely be back.

We were there around lunchtime. We chose two dishes: "Tavuk Sis" (Chicken), which was excellent, tasty, and tender. But the side dishes weren't quite right, especially the salad, which was just sour to acidic. "Karisik Izgara" (Meat chops, chicken, and minced lamb) were excellent. Only the doner kebab skewer was not good; it tasted bad and was dry. The side dishes were the same. For the price of €18.90 and €26.00, it should be quality!!!

A very delicious Turkish restaurant! We visited several times during our vacation and tried a variety of dishes. Everything was tender, delicious, and spicy. It immediately felt like we were on vacation in Turkey. ...and the ayran is also fresh and obviously homemade. Excellent!

Visited this restaurant for the first time today. There were three of us and we sat outside. Unfortunately, the noise level was quite loud due to a neighboring construction site, but that's not the restaurant owner's fault. We received a friendly welcome, and our drinks arrived promptly. The food arrived piping hot after a wait of about 25 minutes, and we were delighted with both the quantity and the taste. From our perspective, we can wholeheartedly recommend the restaurant. We also had a small dog with us. It wasn't a problem outside. We can't say whether dogs are allowed inside.

The food is excellent, and the staff is very friendly. It's a bit noisy for a leisurely dinner, but we'll be back anyway.

Unfortunately, the Sigara Böregi appetizer didn't have the seasoning of real sheep's cheese. They were quite soggy, and the salad wasn't very tasty. The salad from the doner kebab and meat kebab plates were equally tasteless. The meat kebab plate was very tasty; the meat was perfectly seasoned and very tender. The doner kebab plate had the meat draped over the bulgur, which overpowered the flavor of the meat in the bulgur. If it had been separated, it would have received 4 stars. Employees and their friends/family were smoking right in the open doors, and the smoke wafted into the interior toward us.

I ate here for the first time today. Great restaurant. Fast service, very attentive at first, but unfortunately mediocre later on. The food arrived quickly. We had the grill platter. The minced lamb skewers were a bit too spicy for me, and the lamb chops were unfortunately a bit overcooked. Nevertheless, a beautifully presented dish. Bulgur 🤤👌. Open kitchen, you can sit outside or inside. The restroom was modern and clean.

We probably didn't quite make the right choice with the baked doner meat. Without the additional bulgur, the portion would have been much too small for me. Also, when the menu says "on tomatoes," it seemed there wasn't enough tomato in it. The bulgur, like the baked doner meat, tasted really good. But at just under €17 per portion, the value for money isn't right for me. The portions of other guests, like the pide, certainly offer better value for money. The 3 stars for the food are due to the small portion and the hefty price tag. With a different dish, my rating would probably have been much higher.

We ate at this restaurant about two weeks ago. For starters, we ordered Beyaz Penir and Sigara Böregi. Both starters were ready relatively quickly and were not tasty. In my opinion, the starters were not freshly prepared, but rather industrially produced items that had simply been warmed up, and for €16.00. For main courses, we had Tavuk Sis and Iskender Doner, each for €18.90. The Tavuk Sis came on a skewer. Other restaurants offer two skewers for less. The doner was served lukewarm. Overall, the portions were meager, the food overpriced, and not worth the money. We were both disappointed and definitely cannot recommend the restaurant.

We ate here twice. It was excellent both times. The meat was very tender and the food was very well seasoned. The service was really good. The young waitress remembered our orders, and the food came very quickly and was freshly prepared. All in all, two wonderful evenings and a definite recommendation from me.

The food tasted good, and I was satisfied with that. Unfortunately, my overall experience was still disappointing. I ordered "some meat" with my meal without being informed that it would be charged as a full meat dish. So, in the end, I wasn't just charged for a small side dish, but for an entire additional plate, including the full price. I find this very unfair and misleading. A brief explanation or question when ordering could have easily prevented this. As a result, I almost ran out of cash because I didn't have my card with me. This seems like a rip-off to me and unfortunately significantly tarnished the otherwise positive impression.

We came there by chance. Four people, and despite the many reservations, it was no problem getting a table. The service was first-class. The food is truly amazing, from the charcoal grill, a kind of show cooking. You can see into the kitchen. The taste and quality are very good, and the side dishes, flatbread, and salad are also very good. I can't remember having enjoyed better Turkish food anywhere else. The value for money is also really good.

Nothing special, the food is okay, the atmosphere is okay, but there's a lot of smoke and fumes outside, and your clothes can get affected, which isn't particularly pleasant. The staff is okay, but nothing more; nothing special... You can, but you don't have to. To each his own.

We were there very often, unfortunately my parents had 3 ml of very bad meat, it smelled very bad, we were there yesterday and unfortunately it was very bad and very raw... For the price you should also offer something to grab for a short while. I myself come from the catering industry and work in service where guests are given a short farewell at the end.
