Very good food, great staff A little chilly in the restaurant

The food is incredibly delicious. I had the mixed grill (71) and didn't quite finish it, so I'm pretty fed up. My wife had the Kibbeh Mishwiyeh (75), which is also a real treat. It's supposed to take about 45 minutes to prepare, but we hadn't even finished talking and everything was already there. Let's say it was 30 minutes. The server was a little unmotivated that day, but that's not the norm. Normally, everything runs smoothly there. For the price, a really good restaurant with fantastic food.

Yes, we can recommend it without reservation! Very delicious food – cold appetizer plates, warm appetizer plates, and veal with okra. Alcohol is not served, but non-alcoholic beers and wines are available (Update: Alcoholic beverages are now also available). Perfect for us! Super friendly service and spacious rooms.

We visited Al Furat today and we all really enjoyed our meal there because the food was simply delicious. We were completely satisfied. We had a very diverse range of guests: those who like to try new things and those for whom everything beyond schnitzel should be "enjoyed with caution." Everyone found something delicious and went home happy. Thank you for the great food. Tip: Keep the baklava a little warmer. Tip 2: A little indirect, especially warm white, lighting would improve the ambiance even further :) We would love to come back!

From the first moment you felt: This is not just about the food, but about real hospitality - honest, warm and soothing. Arabic-Syrian cuisine is a feast for the senses - diverse, cleverly seasoned and simply delicious. Every bite was a delight! The ambience? Cozy, stylish and full of character. The service? A true masterpiece of attention and friendliness – Chefs Kiss! As if that wasn't enough, we were served tea and milk pudding on the house at the end. Where can you still find something like this today? German gastronomy could learn more than just a few things here. To everyone who still harbors prejudices: Open your hearts - otherwise you'll miss the best! One thing is certain for me: When we are in the area again, there is no way around this restaurant. A real insider tip with soul! :)

Very, very tasty, appetizing dishes and extremely friendly service. Vegetarians also get their money's worth. I find the selection of non-alcoholic wines and beers remarkable. Unfortunately the restaurant is in Leer and not in my hometown of Berlin. I would become a regular.

The food here was absolutely brilliant! Good portions (I could not finish) and the flavors are superb. I would advise anybody with a bit of an adventurous taste to go here. Just don’t be in a hurry, because the waiter wasn’t either ;)

Two main courses were too salty and not edible. The starter plate came with the main courses, even though it was ordered in advance, everything was just frozen goods. Third main course was okay, although quite dry. The service seemed clumsy and the atmosphere was not very comfortable. Food is overpriced for the quality offered. We won't be coming back.

I visited Al Furat Restaurant for the first time with my aunt and her boyfriend and the first impression when we walked in was very welcoming. A very nice overall atmosphere in the restaurant. The people who work there were really very accommodating and friendly. As far as the food goes, it was really refreshingly different in my opinion. A welcome change from all the other restaurants in Leer. I can only warmly recommend Al Furat to everyone.

Today I ate at Al furat for the first time with a colleague, I was very impressed by the first impression of the shop, we were served by a very nice younger waiter called Abdul. He welcomed and served us very politely. The food looked and tasted very, very good. We are very impressed and will be happy to come back again.

We had the grill plate, lamb skewer and baklava. Grill plates and baklava were very good. Unfortunately, the rice and bulgur for the lamb skewer were cold, the meat from the lamb skewer was dry and the amount of meat was manageable. Service was impeccable.

We felt very welcome and had first class and attentive service. The food was delicious and there was tea on the house, which was excellent. We were there for the first but definitely not the last time.

Very tasty, beautifully prepared food, very friendly staff, many vegan options. If we requested food without garlic and onions, this was accommodated without any problems. We have been there twice and will come again, highly recommended!

All in all, our visit to the restaurant was very positive. The restaurant is nicely decorated, but pictures on the wall suggest that a Chinese person has probably been there before. The service was friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, when ordering a children's meal, a request was forgotten, which was a bit stupid. Unfortunately, the vegetarian food couldn't keep up with the meat dishes and was quite bland. All the other food was delicious and also beautifully presented with fire and ice. Interesting vegetarian dishes and children's dishes are still missing from the menu.

A Syrian friend recommended the restaurant to us. So we drove from Neßmersiel to Leer. 90 minutes by car. On the way back we decided that we would add AL FURAT to our list of favorite restaurants. The food was first class. Freshly prepared. Good foods. Appetizingly prepared. The service was friendly and extremely accommodating. The food was served quickly. Enjoying the Orient in East Frisia was an unusual experience. There were four of us there and we ate three courses. Mixed starter platters with warm and cold delicacies. Main courses: Grill plate. Lamb skewer. Chicken skewer. Rice dish with lamb. All very good. 5 stars. Dessert Mixed treats. I would particularly like to highlight the rice with nuts, pistachios and raisins. Incredibly delicious. Parking is available directly at the restaurant. What I would like to suggest: An explanation/description of the dishes. The service could tell new, inexperienced guests what is being served on the plates and platters.

Very nice and delicious restaurant with Syrian dishes and Arabic dishes. Nice service and large, clean toilets. The food is really worth a try and I enjoyed it. Large selection of (also vegan) dishes including starters and desserts. Everything is alcohol-free and delicious. The food was sour in many ways, which is probably traditional, but a little too sour for my taste. But there were plenty of other goodies too. But I especially liked the cinnamon hummus. At the end there was an Arabic black tea on the house for the whole group. Worth mentioning: The main course was crowned with a steam of dry ice over the table, which left us amazed for a few minutes. The prices are okay. Unfortunately, our reservation wasn't quite on the radar at first glance, but a large table was still found for us. Gladly again!

This afternoon we went to Al Furat for the first time. We chose the lunch deal for €16 including a soft drink. It was very attractively presented and very tasty. We will come back. Thank you very much!

We were invited to dinner in a group of 8 people and were overwhelmed by the fantastic experience of the food presentation. Traditional grilled platters, initially served under flames and with a mist of dry ice. Plenty of choice, a bit of everything, with salads and sauces. Arabic dessert at the end, served with the typical tea. It tasted great, the service was friendly and accommodating and we were all thrilled. Highly recommended restaurant!

We visited the restaurant for the first time and went home really satisfied, full and happy after a lovely evening. The rooms are large and the tables are far enough apart so that you won't feel cramped even when full. The ambience is simple but pleasant and the chairs are comfortable. Soft music adds to the atmosphere. Given the large selection of starters, we couldn't decide and the two of us shared the warm starter platter. A person would definitely be full afterward. Everything on it was pleasantly seasoned, freshly prepared and tasty. Plus a hot chai tea, delicious. For the main course we had the grill plate and the minced lamb patties. How delicious that was! Unfortunately we were full afterwards, although that was probably for the better, otherwise we would have just continued eating because of the great taste :) Absolutely harmoniously seasoned, beautifully put together and lovingly prepared. Baklava as dessert rounded off the successful evening. The employee was very attentive and friendly. Al Furat - you have new fans, we'll definitely be happy to come back to you! Full 5 stars from us!

I ordered the “Syrischer Grillteller”, and it was an excellent choice! The dish featured a variety of meats and chicken, all perfectly seasoned with just the right blend of spices. The flavors were rich and well-balanced, making for a truly enjoyable meal. On top of that, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I will definitely be dining here again!

Today I ate at Al Furat for the first, but definitely not the last, time. We've been to different Arabic restaurants, so I can make comparisons. The service was extremely nice and quick. I ordered a starter plate. The food was beautifully prepared and very tasty. The mixed dessert was also great. We think the prices are completely reasonable. We will definitely come back.

Good day I was with my family (9 adults 1 child) on site on December 25th, 2024. And we had a very nice evening there together. First we were greeted very politely and shown to the table. After a few minutes we got the menus straight away. The waiter picked up the food and drinks after a few minutes. It didn't take long before we got our drinks and we didn't wait long for our food either. The dishes were all very tasty and we all enjoyed them. Price performance was also top. So all in all it was a very nice AL FURAT and is definitely recommended.

A very authentic restaurant that catapulted itself to the culinary top of Leer after its opening. Not only is the food good, but also the service. What I particularly like about the restaurant is the ambience. A really great decor and quiet, pleasant, oriental music in the background. Here is a nice excursion into oriental cuisine! I'm already looking forward to the next visit! Conclusion: Great ambience, great service and great food.

I ordered Al Furat Catering for my employer's Christmas party. The arrangement was uncomplicated and the food was delivered on time. The food was extremely tasty and varied, and the quantity was plentiful for the number of people mentioned, so that everyone took something home with them. Only warming plates would be helpful so that the food doesn't cool down so quickly. We would definitely like to order here again, everything went to our complete satisfaction.

Contrary to the majority of reviews, I can only write that the food lacks spice, despite the variety of oriental spices that I would have expected. The proportion of rice in the lamb kabsa meal was also very high and the meat was a bit dry for me. Sorry, but that's how it was.
