Wir waren zum Abendessen da und hatten die warmen und die kalten Vorspeiseteller vegetarisch. Sehr, sehr lecker! Sehr netter, freundlicher Kellner. Wir kommen definitiv wieder!

Die Atmosphäre war sehr entspannend, das Restaurant sehr sauber und der Service ausgezeichnet. Allerdings verzögerte sich das Essen um über eine Stunde, da ein neuer Schawarma-Spieß hinzugefügt wurde. Man entschuldigte sich vielmals für die Verzögerung und bot uns Dessert und Kaffee an. Eine kleine Anmerkung: Im arabischen Schawarma war sehr wenig Hähnchenfleisch, und der russische Salat war leider altbacken. Ich hatte ihn schon einmal probiert, und da war er ausgezeichnet; vielleicht war es diesmal einfach nicht so.

Ich habe noch nie syrisch gegessen. Es war himmlisch. Sehr frisch und alles war mit unterschiedlichen Kräutern und Gewürzen hergestellt. Jedes Einzelne war genial. Die supernette Bedienung hat den Besuch zudem versüßt. Sehr empfehlenswert. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Wir waren heute Mittag dort. Wir hatten richtig gutes traditionelles syrisches Essen. Geschmacklich war es wirklich sehr gut. Tolle Gewürze und ganz toll zubereitet. Der Service war sehr freundlich. Wir haben uns wohl gefühlt und kommen gerne wieder.

Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder und können dieses Restaurant mit gutem Gewissen weiterempfehlen.

LammFleisch war schon echt wenig für 22€, für syrische Verhältnisse kaum gewürzt, nicht richtig warm. Für den Betrag habe ich die Anforderung, dass ich angenehm meine Mahlzeit zu mir nehmen kann, aber kam mir vor wie ein Kindergarten, da ein Kunde 3 Kleine Kinder hatte die die ganze Zeit geschrien auf und abgelaufen sind und gestampft haben. Nichts gegen Kinder aber, der Betreiber hätte auch Mal erlauben können.

Sehr zu empfehlen, Essen mit Liebe angerichtet, alles frisch und super lecker. Super Preise. Sehr netter, aufmerksamer Service!

Das Essen war in Ordnung nichts Besonderes, aber geschmacklich akzeptabel. Leider ließ das Ambiente sehr zu wünschen übrig. Der Raum wirkte kalt und wenig einladend, was das Gesamterlebnis deutlich getrübt hat. Am enttäuschendsten war jedoch der Service: Die Mitarbeitenden schienen mehr mit ihren Handys beschäftigt zu sein als mit den Gästen. Freundlichkeit oder Aufmerksamkeit haben wir leider kaum erlebt. Schade – mit etwas mehr Engagement und Atmosphäre könnte dieses Restaurant deutlich besser abschneiden.

Leider gibt es die Kebabs nicht in 500-Gramm- oder 1-Kilo-Portionen, sodass man gezwungen ist, einen Teller mit zwei Spießen zu bestellen, und das ist sehr teuer – reine Abzocke. Das Brathähnchen ist schlecht und nicht durchgebraten. Das Restaurant ist schlecht und die Preise sind hoch. Die Tomaten waren verdorben, und wir haben uns darüber beschwert. Wir haben Essen zum Mitnehmen bestellt, und leider waren auch die Tomaten und Gurken verdorben, als wären sie aus dem Müll. Ich verstehe nicht, warum man so behandelt wird. Es ist ja nicht kostenlos, und wir sind weder auf Almosen angewiesen noch betteln wir. Das Restaurant serviert verdorbenes Gemüse. Das Restaurant ist schlecht, und die Preise sind völlig überzogen. Was die Kommentare angeht, sind sie alle gelogen und übertrieben, oder die meisten stammen von den Restaurantbesitzern oder deren Verwandten. Das Restaurant ist wirklich sehr, sehr schlecht.

Wir hatten hier einen wunderschönen Abend! Der Service ist ausgesprochen zuvorkommend und herzlich. Das Essen war fantastisch – seit Langem nicht mehr so gut gegessen! Die Portionen sind großzügig und das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt absolut. Für unseren nächsten Urlaub steht ein Wiederbesuch schon fest auf dem Plan. Vielen Dank für den tollen Abend! Ich liebe die syrische Küche, ihre Fingerfood Gewohnheit ist hervorragend in der kalten Vorspeisenplatte verankert, welche ein solch kulinarisches Highlight darstellt, dass ich mit meiner Freundin 2 Platten als Hauptspeise bestellt habe. Natürlich ist diese aber auch nicht das einzige, was Al Furat zu bieten hat. Die Zutaten verschiedener Gerichte sind in aufregender Zusammenstellung in Scene gesetzt, allerdings kamen wir bisher nicht dazu, die herzhaften Fleischspeisen zu probieren. Schlussendlich haben aber die platten, welche bisher den Appetit anregten, in vollem Maß von sich überzeugt und lassen uns beide mit Vorfreude auf die nächsten "Esspeditionen" zurück. Absolute Empfehlung!

Bei einem Kurzurlaub sind wir hier gelandet. Es war eine Freude, dort eingekehrt zu sein. Superfreundliches Personal und feines, mit sehr angenehmen Gewürzen zubereitetes Essen, hat uns dort gerne verweilen lassen. Sollten wir jemals wieder in der Nähe sein, werden wir dort sehr gerne wieder einkehren. P.S. Der arabische, typisch orientalisch zubereitete, Kaffee war eine Pracht!

Wir waren zu siebt dort und hatten einen rundum perfekten Abend! Das Essen war einfach spitze – super aromatisch, frisch und mit viel Liebe zubereitet. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich die kleinen Aufmerksamkeiten: Der Gruß aus der Küche war eine richtig tolle Überraschung und hat uns direkt begeistert. Zum Abschluss gab es sogar noch Tee für alle aufs Haus – so eine Gastfreundschaft erlebt man nicht überall! Der Service war durchweg freundlich, aufmerksam und herzlich, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Wir haben uns alle sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen definitiv wieder. Klare 5 Sterne!

Today, March 21, 2026, I ordered six meals for four children. The owner dismissed me after payment: "There is no space, the place is reserved, and yet many places were empty, this is a very bad situation."

We went to Al Furat in Leer and ordered a minced meat skewer plate for €20.90. The food was really good. The minced meat was nicely seasoned and freshly grilled, the rice, hummus, and salad were also delicious, and the plate was attractively presented. However, we were a little surprised by the amount of meat. For a plate in this price range, we personally expected a bit more. We're used to larger portions from similar dishes. The atmosphere in the restaurant was pleasant, and the service was friendly. Overall, a tasty meal with good side dishes. Our only suggestion: The skewer on the minced meat skewer plate could be a bit more prominent.

I ordered the yogurt dip on the side, and it was perfect! The warm mixed appetizer platter is highly recommended. We shared it between the two of us...

Amazing, simply delicious! The atmosphere is fantastic... super modern and really stylishly furnished. The staff is so friendly and attentive to every need. We had a 3-year-old with us, and they made special fries and chicken for him. There were seven of us. When the first four arrived at the table, we were asked if we wanted drinks. The remaining three had been there for quite some time, but no one came to take our order. We then went to the front ourselves and said we'd like to order. The last three of us finally got our drinks, and the food followed shortly after. We were asked once if everything was alright. The food was tasty. Unfortunately, we didn't see any more service after that. We weren't asked if we wanted more drinks, and no one came to clear the table. Once again, one of us had to go to the front and say we'd like to pay. Only then did someone finally come to our table again. I should also mention that there was no soap in the ladies' room and no toilet paper in either of the two restrooms. I can't understand the many positive reviews. The service that evening was absolutely terrible.

A fantastic Syrian/Arabic restaurant, unlike anything else you'll find in East Frisia. As a native of Cologne with a passion for Middle Eastern cuisine, I really missed this kind of place after moving here, but I finally found it again at Al Furat in my new adopted home of Leer. To anyone who's hesitant: go for it, it's worth it. From the lamb, so tender it falls off the bone, to the mint salad, everything here is not only authentic but also incredibly delicious. The staff, who always look after you as if you were the owner, not just a guest, complete the excellent impression. The only thing is that the ambiance could be a bit more Syrian, but perhaps other guests find that bothersome, and it's just my subjective opinion. Insider tip: try the strawberry mojito; not many people make it this well. And of course, the Syrian spiced tea. We'll definitely be back.

A wonderful evening at Al Furat. We were a party of five and felt very comfortable. The service was extremely friendly and pleasantly unobtrusive. The Arabic food was fantastic, lovingly prepared, and exceptionally flavorful. To our delight, the delicacies were served with a little show. On a recommendation, we opted for a cold and a hot appetizer platter, allowing us to sample many different dishes. There was also a very special salad. The delicious meal was rounded off with a dessert, and to finish, we enjoyed Arabic tea and coffee. It was an extraordinary experience, and we will definitely return to Al Furat.
