Mandarin China Restaurant in Oberhausen

The food was not good, rice was sticky, pasta tasted like spaghetti, meat was rubbery. Don't understand the high ratings, especially from people who have “come back”. Maybe it was a bad day, but that really wasn't reasonable. In the stairwell we already had the feeling that we should leave again. We won't be coming back.

A good buffet restaurant for years. You also have the option to order menu items. We were there today and the food was again very tasty. Price performance very good.

The buffet is manageable. It seemed like some of the lunch items were kept warm. Some of the dishes were still dirty. Sanitary facility without hot water. Soap containers were empty. Despite reservations for eight people, the table was not set.

Don't understand the reviews. Five of us were there because of the excellent reviews. In the stairwell you are greeted by cigarette smoke because the smokers are standing there. There was a smell of grease in the restaurant. Do you still have some of it at home? Visually, the restaurant is rather simple. Little choice of food and few vegetables. The taste isn't really that tasty either. The soup was tasty. You can fry your own meat or fish/shells etc. on a large "roasting table". Until now we only knew that the restaurant prepares the items freshly. It makes you less likely to become a self-indulgent. The dessert was delicious. Popsicles and a milk slice.

Price-performance ratio is very good. At my request, the chef cooked original Chinese food for me (Chinese cucumber salad, duck feet and tofu). It was incredibly tasty and authentic, the service was also very attentive and extremely friendly

Een parel in Oberhaussen waar je voor slechts 15,90 zeer kwalitatief eten krijgt! Een ruim buffet bestaande uit soepen, diverse vleessoorten, diverse vissoorten, diverse icecreams, diverse taartjes, en voor wie zelf hun menu samenstelt, staat er een heuze rauw buffet klaar met een tepanjaki plaat waar je je eigen vlees lobster of andere vis zelf kunt klaarmaken met bijbehorende sauzen. Dit is een restaurant dat zeer goed verscholen is maar een absolute parel is. Zeer hygienisch en goed gehumeurde eigenaar.

Good price-performance ratio. Spicy. Service good. Friendly. Quality always good. Frying fresh meat and fish yourself is a must. The hallway and entrance don't look inviting. But it's worth a visit. Parking spaces right next door. Don't forget your parking disc 24/7.

I'll start with the bad points. The entrance is strange and cold. Now the good points! The food is good (yes I have eaten better, but then I also paid more) The matter was clean. The staff was friendly and worked hard in my opinion. Chapeau, when I'm in the area again, I'll definitely come back. TIP: put signs next to the things that need to be put on the plate, indicating the preparation time.

The restaurant doesn't look well-kept outside, the lion's stature is stuffed full of rubbish, the hallway is dirty and unkempt, it smells of old grease, the carpets are all old and full of stains, the furniture is very outdated, the ice machine is dirty, the tables are only cleaned with a cloth and crystal clear after each guest Cutlery is available on this table, which today for hygiene reasons should not be done without a cutlery bag. The food is delicious. Ice cream from the dirty machine is not recommended from the chest. The ice cream is unsightly. Every guest goes in with a spoon. You have to take more care of your restaurant the staff is very friendly, the cook is very loud, luckily the dirty, lifeless aquariums are gone, these animals are not kept well. More effort for cleanliness - not everything has to be super new, but it has to be clean

I ate there for the first time with my girlfriend on Mother's Day because she told me how great it was... What can I say, when I got there I found it a bit dingy, outdated and not clean enough, after we discovered a hair of glass on the floor, I was just very disappointed... ....!!! I'm definitely not going there anymore......!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!

We were there again after a long time. It was a really nice evening. The food was great. There was something for everyone. The service was very nice. The restaurant is highly recommended and the price is unbeatable.

I recently went to AllYouCanEat Madarin and unfortunately all I can say is that I am disappointed. The food was absolutely inedible. Everything was far too greasy, too salty and oily - just unpleasant. The choice of dishes was also very limited, which spoiled the impression of a true all-you-can-eat experience. The atmosphere in the restaurant also left a lot to be desired. It was uncomfortable and uninviting. Despite the cheap price, I cannot recommend this restaurant. Quality should always come before quantity, and neither was the case here. Too bad!

Today we ate in this restaurant for the first time, the grill was very good with seafood, the youngest waitress was very nice, the oldest on the other hand, the owner at the next table certainly served glasses of plum wine, we didn't have any plum wine, I asked for the bill and that The oldest servant collected the bill for €36.70 and I gave €40. When checking out, I didn't find the reaction very pleasant, especially because of the beef steak, which I unfortunately had to leave on the plate because it was very hard and tasteless, as well as the cold fries. I find this lady's attitude disturbing and a poor strategy for attracting potential customers. In summary, it was the first and also the last time I ate at this Chinese restaurant.

So we were here at the weekend because we were looking for a cheap Asian buffet. To get to the restaurant you first have to go up one floor in a hallway. When you arrive at the restaurant, there is a lot of clutter next to the entrance. At least you will be welcomed immediately and assigned to a table. Next to an open shelf full of random boxes. The tables seriously have a clear plastic cover over the fabric tablecloth. So it's better to go without a blanket. The restaurant is small and so is the selection. There are a few ready-made meals that were kept warm, but some of them weren't warm at all. I don't know what there was because some things couldn't be identified visually. What I would like to mention are the fries that look like they were fried with motor oil. Not burnt but a very strange color. There were also mushrooms that were floating in a kind of goo. And various sauces that looked more like they had already been digested and had the consistency of pudding. Also worth mentioning is the tepanyaki grill. Apparently everyone (staff and guests) used it alternately. I didn't pay any attention to the condition of the raw items because I then completely forgot about them. Conclusion: guaranteed not to spend 10 to 20 more here and choose a decent restaurant. Or a slice of bread at home, better than in this restaurant.

The service was unique. A plate of fried shrimp was even brought to our table because there was a guest there who immediately emptied the bowl and didn't notice the other interested parties. Very kind of the waitress. But other empty bowls were also immediately refilled. 😋😋😋

Es ist eine Zeitreise dieses Restaurant zu besuchen. Man muss zuerst durch ein dreckiges „Wurmloch“ aka Treppenhaus. Das Restaurant befindet sich in der ersten Etage eines 90er Jahre Hauses. Auch das Restaurant scheint in den 90ern stehen geblieben zu sein. Das Ambiente wirkt sehr Oldschool, die Tische sind mittels dicker Klarsichtfolie gegen Kleckern und Glasränder geschützt. Die „freundliche“ Bedienung begrüßt einen direkt nach dem Hereinkommen lautstark mit: ‚Guten Tag, wollen essen?‘ nach dem Zustimmen folgt: ‚Suche Platz aus!‘ Nach der Tischwahl folgt der Gang zum Buffet. Die Speisen wirken durchweg frisch zubereitet und sind auch schmackhaft. Die Speisenauswahl ist am Buffet recht überschaubar, kein Vergleich zu den immer mehr werdenden chinesischen/ asiatischen Buffettempeln. Zwischendurch wird dann noch quer durchs Restaurant die Getränkebestellung aufgenommen. Hier kann man Mittags für 10,90€ als Alternative zu allen anderen Fastfoodanbietern sehr gut satt werden. Als Restaurant am Abend nur sehr eingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

It's a journey back in time to visit this restaurant. You first have to go through a dirty “wormhole” aka stairwell. The restaurant is on the first floor of a 90s house. The restaurant also seems to have been left standing in the 90s. The ambience seems very old school, the tables are protected against spills and glass edges with thick transparent film. The “friendly” waitress greets you loudly as soon as you come in with: ‘Hello, would you like to eat?’ After agreeing, you say: ‘Pick a seat!’ After choosing a table, you go to the buffet. The dishes always seem freshly prepared and are also tasty. The selection of food at the buffet is quite manageable, no comparison to the ever-increasing number of Chinese/Asian buffet temples. In between, the drink order is taken across the restaurant. Here you can get your fill at lunchtime for €10.90 as an alternative to all other fast food providers. Only recommended to a very limited extent as a restaurant in the evening.

I wonder how 4.3 stars come about here. It's an absolute disgrace to offer your guests such a "buffet". The peanut sauce was at least 1 week old. The baked chicken tastes like a breaded schnitzel that I almost broke my tooth on because it was so hard. Not to mention the hygiene. Our table neighbor was a cockacock who was also our only table neighbor. Unfortunately we had to pay full price for 4 forks of buffet. Absolutely not recommended!!!

In terms of cuisine, it's the best Chinese I've ever eaten at. Many people here in the north can take an example from this. Staff friendly and funny. The atmosphere is somehow stuck in the 80s/90s. Still comfortable. The price is insane. The soft ice cream machine was particularly original.

My wife and I had dinner here yesterday. We were pleasantly surprised. Well air conditioned despite the heat. Nice atmosphere. Not like in those big car dealership Chinese restaurants. Buffet small but nice. Great quality. Always freshly refilled. Also lots of choice for dessert. Staff super friendly. Have been eating here again for years. Will eat there regularly now.

I called this restaurant today and asked about the entrance fee for each person And when I called a second time and asked what the price was for the weekend, he scoffed at me and hung up. I really can't recommend the restaurant. Just when you go up to the restaurant and you can smoke in the stairwell, I find it more than disgusting. I'm a smoker myself but that's just not possible. The food was mostly cold and didn't really look appealing. The staff was really very friendly but the food and the environment within the restaurant plus the stairwell are just not good at all.

Were here for the first time today, and what can I say, once and never again. The selection of dishes was very manageable and cold in places. The meat/fish for frying was frozen in a block in the container so that it couldn't be separated at all. The place is a bit old and there are things lying around everywhere. The only positive thing is that the staff is very friendly.

It was a warm day, the buffet was commensurate with the price. Because of the warm weather, there were these little flies everywhere at the buffet and in the restaurant. Then you heard something to pay attention to.

Buffet tastes good, but the selection is rather limited and some items were either not quite hot, chewy or were very dry. The facility is a bit old, but the price-performance ratio is very good. Elsewhere you pay around twice as much for a buffet. The service is good and courteous. But you can already tell where the low price comes from.

We were there today and unfortunately have to say that it was absolutely underground. Brown lettuce, white dried carrots, dried watermelon. Very little choice and what little there was just didn't taste good. Our children didn't even find the ice cream tasty. I really don't know where people get the good reviews from. The only thing was that the service was friendly. Unfortunately once and never again.

I love Chinese food and visit a Chinese restaurant every month. On my first visit to this restaurant I was surprised by the delicious food, wonderful service and price. I can really recommend it and would like to visit this restaurant again.

The only star is for the nice staff. Dessert all just thawed. As does most of the food unfortunately (at least that's how it tastes). It was very disappointing, especially when you come up in the hallway, the smell of cigarettes and a completely covered aquarium with fish in it is not possible! - Unfortunately there is almost no choice for vegetarians other than pasta, rice, mini spring rolls and broccoli. All in all, no recommendation.

Actually, this used to be THE Chinese restaurant in the area. Had the buffet, but it was mediocre. Both in selection and quality. The service wasn't great either: we had to put our plates on the neighboring table at times. Conclusion: full but mediocre.

Ohne Reservierung wurde uns nach einer Wanderung sofort ein Tisch für 8 Personen zusammengestellt. Wir haben alle das Buffet gewählt. Die Auswahl der Speisen war sehr gut. Alles hat geschmeckt, ob selbst gebraten oder fertig. Sushi und Nachtisch war ebenfalls sehr lecker. Besonders durch die freundliche Bedienung haben wir uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen bestimmt wieder.

We were guests in this Chinese restaurant on Friday, we can say that it is a very good restaurant. Nothing was missing, the taste was super delicious, and there was always more at the buffet. Quite dirty restaurant. You come up the stairs and have to pass a cigarette ashtray. Chopsticks and other trash are literally on the floor and the employees just walk past them. The buffet is small and warm on one side and cold on the other (dessert). The fries are cold and soggy. The ice looks like it doesn't exist. The ice cream scoop is in a dirty container. Greetings from salmonella. Running water is mandatory! The rest of the food is covered in a Galat-like mush... not tasty. The cutlery is not really clean and no plate fits the other. Only the price is good; but for an evening like that... Never again.

Unfortunately I didn't like the food at all today. The duck was dry and tough, the soup was lumpy, the sauce containers were unappetizing with thick edges. The plastic tablecloths they just look cheap and ugly.

By far the best buffet we have ever tried. Small, clear and very fresh. The friendliest and sweetest staff ever! I'll just eat there. And then for the price of €9.90 per person! So anyone who has something to complain about has no idea. The journey from Hamm to Oberhausen was definitely worth it. Lovely again.

Das Essen war sehr lecker und die Portionen für Zuhause sind sehr groß. Preis ist gut und Parkplätze sind auch vorhanden. Eine Sache habe ich heute allerdings bereits im Restaurant angesprochen: ihr Lieben, bitte kümmert euch um die beiden Fische im Hausflur. Das nimmt mich nachhaltig so mit, ich habe selten so traurige Gestalten gesehen. Die Argumentation, dass euch schonmal welche geklaut wurden, finde ich bitter. Vielleicht haben die beiden vorherigen Fische dann wenigstens ein grüneres Zuhause :/ Essenstechnisch war alles top.

Es besteht die Auswahl zwischen Buffet und Speisekarte. Das Buffet bietet genügend Auswahl an Fleischgerichten und weiteren wie Suppe, Beilagen und Salat. Unaufgefordert wurde uns zudem angeboten, jedes der Buffet-Gerichte auf Wunsch frisch nachzulegen - sehr aufmerksam! Preislich absolut in Ordnung (Buffet etwa 15 Euro). Dazu freundlicher Service und familiäre, ruhige Atmosphäre.

Wir waren nach einem Besuch im Gasometer hier. Anfangs schreckten uns noch der erste Eindruck von älteren Möbel und einer plastiktischdecke ein wenig ab, doch dann war alles top. Service, Geschmack, Auswahl und auch die Endrechnung. Sind wir nochmal in der nähe von Centro oder Gasometer kommen wir gerne wieder.

Gefrorene Sachen die man gar nicht aus dem Behältern bekommt weil sie einfach zusammengefroren sind. Die Blumen und der Laden wirkt sehr ungepflegt. Man bekommt regelrecht Mitleid mit den ganzen Pflanzen und auch die zwei Fische die unten im Flur in einem Minibecken gehalten werden und sich kaum bewegen können, sowas geht einem gar nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Stattdessen steht oben im Restaurant selbst eine riesenbecken welches ausgeschaltet ist und nicht mehr in Betrieb genommen wird aber die Fische lässt man einfach mit ihrem Schicksal in diesen Minibecken alleine. Keine Pflanzen, keine Pflege... man merkt hier dass die Ladenbesitzer keinen Bock auf schönes Ambiente haben. Das Essen selbst, welches nicht gefroren war hat eigentlich ganz gut geschmeckt und es ist auch genügend Auswahl vorhanden. Der Preis ist super!, leute bitte kümmert Euch um die Fische und um eure Pflanzen denn es sind Lebewesen!!!!
