Berghof in Oberhausen

Very inconspicuous from the outside but a highly recommended restaurant with extremely good cuisine, attentive service and very friendly staff. We'd love to come back.

Food used to be better and has become very expensive, but no one can beat the service!

We are there regularly. The food is delicious and the waiters are all very nice and accommodating. We have already sent a lot of friends there and they were all thrilled.

Good morning ! We have been coming to the Rhön for many years either by car or motorbike! The breakfast was very good as was the excellent lunch/dinner cuisine! The renovation of the Berghof was very successful! However, there is one downside: we stayed in the Fuldaquelle, the rooms were okay However, the shower cubicle was more for children, very small! We were accommodated exactly under the roof. It was very warm, a restful sleep was out of the question, perhaps we should consider putting portable air conditioning units in these rooms! Greetings!

EXCELLENT STOP ON THE WAY BACK FROM HOLLAND: We stopped at this restaurant and we confirm that it fully complies with the reviews we had seen. First of all, the courtesy of the EXCELLENT staff, they explained the dishes on the menu very well and in English. Then during dinner, always attentive and vigilant, they poured water on us several times. The cutlets are delicious, tender and cooked to perfection!!! I recommend the Berghof or the Viennese. The Hungarian is good but tastes a little strong for us. Excellent baked potatoes. Excellent Weizen beer! Pancakes with Cherries Delicious! See you next time we're in the area! Thank you!!! 💪🤗

Very good restaurant, with a great ambience, both inside and outside. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The food is very good. We have been there many times and have always found the same, good standard in all areas, whether as a group of two, three or larger groups. We always enjoy coming back.

Excellent food and very friendly service staff

We got a table straight away without a reservation. The menu has a diverse selection of dishes. Pasta Veggie, Jägerschnitzel and the Balkan style grill plate were very tasty and the service was very friendly. Price/performance fits.

We were pre-registered as a group. We were then assigned a table in the middle of the dining room that was too small for the number of people, even though the restaurant was not fully booked.

I went bowling here. The service is friendly. The food is good and tasty. The portions are enough even for those who are very hungry. Special requests are happy to be fulfilled and are possible at any time. All in all a good mid-range restaurant. I'll be back

Our experiences at the Berghof are always wonderful, from service to price. Sure, you could write that it's not as stylish as some other restaurants, but the cleanliness and the attentiveness of the service make it all complete. Little tip, asparagus is great 😉 thank you very much The Italians

We were in the restaurant for the first time today, the food was really delicious 😋 everything was freshly prepared and fresh, delicious ingredients, nothing out of the bag. We would be happy to come back, I can only recommend it.

It was my first visit to the Berghof. From the outside it really doesn't look like much. But as soon as you enter the restaurant, things suddenly change. A lovingly, very elegantly furnished restaurant awaits you and you will be guided to your table by the very friendly staff. There is something for everyone on the menu and the prices are really good. The food was also really good and the replenishment of drinks was very quick. All in all very recommendable.

Went with 4 adults and 3 children on April 9th. There this year to celebrate my birthday. The staff was very friendly, attentive and great with the kids. Food very plentiful and tasty. It probably won't be there for the last time. We liked it a lot. Can definitely recommend it

Schnitzel day ;). In almost all restaurants, a turkey schnitzel costs an extra €2. I actually think it's a shame. But the food was plentiful and tasty. Only three points for the ambience, but it fits the name. And more important to me is the food.

We were there on Easter Monday. The food is excellent. We have never eaten anything so delicious anywhere. That was an A PLUS. Highly recommended

70th birthday celebrated there. Food in general was often tasty except for the house pan, which consisted of pieces of meat that were much too large and the sauce had no taste despite being seasoned. The grill plate was good, especially the beef steak, and in terms of quantity, it was okay for people with a good appetite, the Balkan style grill plate (one or two dishes below on the menu, now called differently) was okay. The pieces of minced meat were sometimes too dry and occasionally fried too dark. However, in terms of price/performance as well as the friendliness of the employees, the ambience and atmosphere, we were not so satisfied on a Saturday evening with 1-2 other larger groups in the back room. Employees seemed relatively stressed and not very friendly, the room full of tables and chairs created a somewhat depressing atmosphere and the background noise was of course enormous with so many people. For my part, I would probably not come back again, especially due to the relatively high price and the fact that there is probably no outside area for eating. As far as the grill plate is concerned, you can get juicier meat, larger and cheaper portions from Greek restaurants such as Aphrodite or Artemis. As a result, I only recommend the location to a limited extent.

A 12 out of 10 in all points. The employees are great, everyone always has a smile on their faces, super friendly and just super personable. The food is amazing, we've been there several times and the food has always been great. In addition to the ambience, there is a great atmosphere among the employees too. Always a great atmosphere and you feel at home in your own living room.

Würde auch mehr als fünf Sterne geben. Spontan nach einem Tisch für zwei gefragt und mit einer Herzlichkeit herein gebeten worden. Tolle Karte (Dienstag u Donnerstag haben sie zusätzlich eine Steak Karte). Welche ich auch genutzt habe. Das Fleisch war auf den Punkt zubereitet 👍👍👍die Beilagen top. Das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Ein rundum gelungener Tag! Die Mitarbeiter sind sehr nett und hilfsbereit. Das Essen war sehr lecker. Mein Steak war perfekt und es hat sehr gut geschmeckt. Frische Zutaten und leckere Pfeffersauce. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder! Danke!

Wir kommen schon jahrelang hierher, daß essen ist immer super. Unser Sohn isst dort nur Steak, welches in jeder Größe (200, 400 oder 600g) immer perfekt war. Alle anderen Gerichte immer super und wir alle lieben die Zwiebelsuppe. Kommen immer wieder gerne.

Wir waren heute zu dritt spontan im Berghof essen. Der erste Eindruck war spitze und obwohl alle Tische reserviert waren konnte der Chef uns , ohne Reservierung, unterbringen. Der Service ist perfekt und das Essen für den Preis unschlagbar gut. Frisch und mit Liebe zum Detail gekocht und angerichtet. Rundherum ein tolles Erlebnis. Wir werden zukünftig gern öfter kommen und reservieren. Vielen Dank für das wahnsinnig leckere Essen

Wir waren zum Gänseessen verabredet. Die Gans war gut und schmackhaft, aber leider mit ganz wenig Sosse, die für mich beim Gänsebraten sehr wichtig ist. Also Sosse nachbestellt und es kam eine Tasse mit ganz viel Obst, Zwiebeln und - Sosse. Also nicht ausreichend für die Anzahl der Gäste. Schade....

Hier wird bei der Bepreisung klar getrennt. Speisen sind Speisen, und Getränke sind Getranke. ALLES ist seinen Preis wert. Eine sehr große Auswahl an Speisen mit hochwertiger Qualität - mir persönlich würde noch eine 'Rinderleber' fehlen- sowie eine Getränkekarte, die beom Essen keine Wünsche offen lässt. DANKE für einen wiederholten, schönen Abend, den ich als Gast erleben durfte. Beigefügt der 'Beilagen-Salat', der mehr als 'Beilage', und sehr schmackhaft war.

Wir hatten für acht Leute gebucht, saßen an einem runden Tisch der für sechs Gäste ausgerichtet war, viel zu eng. Die Hauptspeise war gut ...aber der Nachtisch von 5 Personen ging gar nicht. Wir hatten heiße Kirschen mit Eis und Sahne. Die Kirschen KALT die Sahne klar Sprühsahne ein Tupfen mehr nicht. Und zum Schluss wurden wir um 21.15 gebeten das letzte Getränk zu bestellen und dann zu gehen. Und ja das Taten wir und kommen bestimmt nicht wieder....

Super Steaks. Andere Gerichte auch gut.

Das Essen war wieder einmal sehr lecker, große Portion und für jedem was dabei. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich, Humorvoll und alle haben gute Laune. "Der Gast ist König" so wird man da auch bedient. Wenn ich könnte würde ich mehr Sterne geben. Werde es auf jedenfall weiter empfehlen. Weiter so ihr seit super =)
