We were on vacation in the Harz Mountains. And we were there spontaneously. Have reserved a table in advance. Please make a reservation, otherwise you may not get a table. Service super friendly/sympathetic. Food was amazing. Hamburgers and ribs are a dream. For me it would have fewer fries and more ribs. So delicate and soft. So that the flesh fell off the bones. Hamburger juicy, fresh, good portion. The atmosphere is very cozy, warm and very inviting. We'll be back. When we are back in Wernigerode. Thanks so much

Very tasty, we spontaneously went to Mampfy and got a nice table. The restaurant is very well maintained and it is definitely nice to sit outside in the summer. As for the vibe, I would describe it as a sports bar. The burgers were very tasty and it was pretty quick.

Seriously, I can't think of anything else to say about this store. The website advertises delivery, which is not available. The same applies to warm food that is offered until 9 p.m. The only sad thing is when you enter the store around 8:30 p.m. and are told that there is no more food. Absolutely incomprehensible, obviously you don't need it. Well, then I can only hope that such business practices will soon drown in the insignificance of business bankruptcies so that even more guests who want to count are not turned away hungry. I've finished.

Well, that was probably nothing. We booked a table for 7:30 p.m. No feedback. We went and there was no reservation for us as the reservation must be reported at least 8 hours in advance. Unfortunately it's not on the website. Were really disappointed. Definitely won't go there again.

Juice shop, you have to wait 20 minutes to get a seat even though everything is empty. 🤣

We had burgers and spare ribs, the latter were only warmed up, the burger was slightly burnt and otherwise rather mediocre. The floor was pretty sticky, but the staff was nice.

We were there on a Saturday evening and it wasn't too crowded. The selection of burgers was perfectly fine in my opinion. You should usually find something. At first glance the prices were very pleasing. The burgers themselves were quite small. In order to really fill you up, you actually have to order a side dish. If you then take another drink, you're already over €20. That's why there is one star less here. Overall, we really enjoyed the food. Unfortunately our meat patties were a bit too dark.

Picked up a chili cheeseburger to take away. With the garlic sauce and something like curry sauce, the burger was in no way a chili cheese burger.

Went in with the expectations of a normal burger joint and was completely surprised. The burgers were very good (especially the vegan one, and yes I am a meat lover). Edit: based on the first impression, we were here again after 4 days and unfortunately have to change the rating slightly downwards. Initially everything was 5* and a really great visit. On the second visit it was in the evening and more crowded, the service was different, which was OK but not as on the ball and friendly as the first. My wife's dish was the same (the Vegan Burger) and this time it was completely different. Patty was still quite wet and mushy. Apparently the more guests there are, the faster the food cooks. My steak of the day was bad. So the meat itself was good, but the cooking point was seriously missed. Ordered medium rare and received well done, but the chef can't help it because you only get a 1cm slice of meat. The rustic fries were very good, the cheesy fries were medium. The cheesecake wasn't to our taste, but that depends on your palate. In short, the second visit was more like a standard burger shop. Unfortunately, because it was such an experience the first time.

Dear Mampfy team, Thank you very much for the epically good food that you prepare with so much love. I have never eaten such a delicious vegan burger before. The mushroom patty is just amazing. The fried chicken burger was also simply amazing. The meat was so juicy and flavorful. The brownie dessert with a scoop of ice cream sounds simple, but it was unbeatable compared to other restaurants. I would particularly like to emphasize the extremely friendly and open-minded service. Service is very important here. Please keep it up. I can only warmly recommend you. And if we are drawn to the area again, we would be happy to come back. ♥️

As many other reviews have mentioned, I would also like to emphasize the friendly staff - the service was very attentive and courteous. The food was really delicious and the price-performance ratio was absolutely fair. I can only recommend a visit.

The service staff is very unfriendly, you can't change your mind during the ordering process (e.g. swapping a dark beer for a light beer) without having to cancel the entire order. The ambience was ok and the food was really good. We will never eat there again.

We were 6 adults and a small child. The first question when you enter the restaurant is an unfriendly one: "Have you made a reservation?" When ordering you are pressured to decide, otherwise the rest of the order will automatically be sent to the kitchen?! The food itself is OK, but too much salt on everything for my taste!

The food tastes good, but unfortunately we probably just had a bad day when the waitresses were very irritable early on. This restaurant is little or not at all suitable for small children and you don't feel very welcome. We didn't find a way to wrap it. Unfortunately, the only high chair was already occupied.

We ended my birthday at Mampfy in the evening. The service and the food were 1a. 🫶🏼

The shop is inconspicuous but the courtyard is quite cozy. The food is great. Small menu but really tasty. And something for everyone.

Vegan burger was really good and huge. The mushroom patty is delicious and the vegan alioli as well.

Were there on 8/9/24. Service very friendly. But I missed the American flair, among other things, in the decoration/equipment of the guest room. The food on offer, apart from burgers, can be compared to offerings such as schnitzel in any other restaurant. So nothing special. If you just want to eat burgers, you can go there, otherwise other places offer equivalent options. So normal restaurant without Amiflair, unfortunately.

The waiting time for ordinary citizens was far too long, even though the store wasn't even full! Smash burgers weren't really smash burgers, not crispy and partly raw. In our opinion, the taste of the citizens wasn't anything special either. After complaining, you were initially told that the medium standard ones were sold, which is almost impossible with a real smash burger. In the end, another employee or the boss apologized! Still, never again! PS the fries were delicious!

Inconspicuous on the outside, unbeatable on the inside! Vegan, vegetarian or with meat. Everyone gets something super delicious to eat here. The vegan burger is made with a champion patty and is a real hit. All of this paired with very nice service and a cozy atmosphere. Absolute recommendation!

Another run-of-the-mill burger shop with completely exorbitant prices? Not even close! Rarely in Germany have I had such a well-crafted burger. The buns are homemade, as is the smashed burger and it is also perfectly fried. The pulled pork and the sauces complement the BBQ burger to an experience for which you would definitely want to travel a few kilometers. The extraordinarily friendly service, the really, really good home-made fries and the freshly tapped beer shouldn't go unmentioned. The prices are completely reasonable. Clear 5-star recommendation. All thumbs up.

Overall OK, but we expected a little more. The ambience is nice, but the food isn't quite value for money. At around €20 for a burger with fries, you'll want a handmade patty and not ready-made pressed meat, especially if you go to a burger shop. The fries seemed like they were twice fried. Mayo & ketchup could be served nicely arranged in small bowls instead of pre-packaged like at McDonald's. The service was quick and not unfriendly, but not noticeably friendly or warm either.

You can tell that the ingredients in the burger were fresh, but they never tasted good together. Something was missing, but what?

Maybe it's the bad weather, but somehow the people here are very rude and unfriendly. Ordered roast meat and between the fat and gristle there was also the occasional meat. I asked for fries instead of warm potato salad and had to pay €1.50 extra. With a bill of over €70 and mixed food, not being able to accommodate the customer in any way borders on madness. P.S. If you change a concept you should first have one. Thanks for nothing.

Was there again last weekend, unfortunately it has lost a lot of its original charm. The menu has been massively reduced and unfortunately it can no longer live up to what it used to be. It's a shame.

We also became aware of the restaurant through the good Google reviews. The menu itself sounds great and the food came quickly. But unfortunately the schnitzels were thick and the meat tasted old, and the toilet situation wasn't the best either. Everything in the toilet was in need of renovation.

Came across it by chance during our Wernigerode vacation and ate there twice. Delicious, diverse selection of dishes, milkshakes are also very tasty, plus a cozy courtyard that invites you to linger.

The third visit and always spontaneous. We love it. The service staff are very familiar and always courteous. The food is super delicious and the non-alcoholic cocktails are absolutely delicious. The backyard patio is pleasant and if you have questions you get exceptional answers. Have fun and ask what haloumi is. The answer is the screamer. 🤣 But don't worry, the dish is still super tasty and animal-friendly. I look forward to the next visit and until then we wish the entire team continued respectful guests. 💕

Positive: Telephone reminder service, generous portions. There are children's meals. Negative: The drink menus are dripping with grease and dirt. This is probably why they are collected immediately after ordering, even though there is a whole stack of them at the counter. The fries, burgers and schnitzel were pretty tasteless. Fries and schnitzel very dry. Would be okay for cheap fast food, but definitely not in this price range! When I asked if there were children-sized burgers, I was told no, there were only the big ones. But there are mini burgers on the menu?! Service overall a bit undercooled.

Nice service! Value for money for the food is rather poor. The menu was a mix of German, Mexican fusion cuisine… implementation, well… the only BBQ on the menu were the rips. For €30 more meat instead of bones is desirable.

I can't understand the good reviews and I doubt the taste of many people here. The staff was friendly, the atmosphere was absolutely fine. However, the quality of the food is absolutely inferior and the prices are absolutely exorbitant.

Are tourists in beautiful Wernigerode. We asked on Monday, April 15th, 2024 whether a table for two was still available on Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. On April 16th, 2024 I received a confirmation at quarter two in the afternoon that the table had been reserved for me. I call half an hour in advance and am told that there is no reservation... I describe the process, but this is dismissed by the fact that my colleague has probably forgotten it... No apology or even a hint of acknowledgment of the error at hand. Incredible..

The external appearance as well as the ambience, service and food are exactly as I had hoped. The service was friendly, competent and relaxed, and within a very short time drinks and excellent food were on the table in front of us. Three of us had dinner there last week. I had the Mampfy Burger. Unfortunately it didn't convince me in terms of taste, the meat had no grill aroma and somehow didn't taste like anything. For just under 15 euros without any side dishes, it's pretty expensive. It may be that this is the normal price in Wernigerode, but in Berlin I pay 4-5 euros less for a burger like this.

Das Mumphy hat zum Glück Sonntagabend geöffnet. Daher gingen wir hier her. Sie Speisekarte bietet genug Auswahl und auch mehrere Biere vom Fass. Die Bedienung war sehr freundlich und flott - geschmeckt hat es auch.

Die Location ist echt sehr gut und die Toiletten sauber. Ich hatte den „PHILLY BRISKET BURGER“ geschmacklich war er eine 6/10 und leider war nicht so viel Fleisch drauf. Allerdings waren die Bedienung sehr nett und hat gesagt das es ein sehr teures Fleisch sei, somit war es gerechtfertigt. Abschließend kann man sagen es ist ein gutes Restaurant für den amerikanischen Gaumen.

Das Essen war gut. Leider lässt das Ambiente zu wünschen übrig. Unter den Tischen lagen Essensreste und die Getränke Karte war sehr klebrig und kurz vor dem auflösen.

Schöner Burgerladen. Nett eingerichtet und auch sehr nettes Personal. Wir hatten was für den kleinen Hunger bestellt und das hat uns beide aber schon gut satt gemacht. Leckere Limos habe die auch. Preislich voll in Ordnung.

Essen war super, sehr lecker, das Fleisch konnte man auseinanderziehen so zart war es. Ich muss nur die unbequemen Bänke bemängeln, also auf Dauer tut einem da echt der Allerwerteste weh... Service war super freundlich!

Die fast durchweg guten Rezensionen haben uns auf das Mampfy aufmerksam gemacht und so wollten auch wir uns einen Eindruck verschaffen. Wir waren an einem späten Samstagnachmittag vor Ort. Das Mampfy ist zentral in Wernigerode gelegen, nur wenige Meter entfernt ist ein öffentlicher, mit einer Schranke gesicherter Parkplatz, auf dem man zu moderaten Preisen (0,50 € je 1/2 Stunde) parken kann. Entgegen einiger negativer Rezensionen bekamen wir ohne Reservierung einen Tisch und die Kellnerin war überaus freundlich. Das Ambiente erinnert weniger an ein Restaurant als mehr an eine Mischung aus Diner und Kneipe mit einem großen Tresen entlang der linken Seite - davor befindet sich der Sitzbereich. Der Innenraum ist geschmackvoll und stimmig in einem urig-rustikalen und gleichzeitig modern-industriellen Stil gehalten. Alles war sehr sauber ... auch die Toiletten. Ich möchte anmerken, dass der Zugang zum Lokal nicht barrierefrei möglich ist - doch kann ich nicht sagen, ob es vielleicht noch einen weiteren Zugang gibt, durch den auch gehbinderte Menschen problemlos Zutritt erlangen. Die Speisekarte ist eine Mischung aus amerikanisch, mexikanisch und etwas italienisch, wobei der Fokus auf der amerikanischen Küche liegt. Die Palette reicht von Burgern, Pulled Pork und Fried Chicken bis hin zu gebeiztem Lachs und Falafel. Einige der Gerichte sind sogar vegan :-). Was auf den ersten Blick wie typisches Fast-Food anmutet sind tatsächlich kreative Kompositionen aus regionalen, nachhaltigen Produkten mit sogar selbstgebackenen Burgerbrötchen. Dementsprechend sind die Gerichte geschmacklich wirklich top - es war sehr sehr lecker und man schmeckte die gute Zusammenstellung und die Qualität der Zutaten deutlich heraus. Wir hatten einen Chili Cheese Burger mit Pommes Frites, einen BBQ Burger mit einer BBQ Poutine und einen Fleischlos-glücklich-Wrap mit einer Pilzpfanne. Die Gerichte an sich sind relativ klein, so dass der Wrap eher wie eine Vorspeise anmutete. Laut meiner Begleitungen waren die Burger trotz der geringen Größe mit zusätzlich Pommes und Poutine gut sättigend. Die Preise sind mit durchschnittlich 14,90 € - 17,90 € pro Burger, gemessen an der Größe, recht hoch, deshalb auch von meiner Seite ein Stern Abzug. Wir hatten einen schönen Spätnachmittag im Mampfy und können das Lokal guten Gewissens weiterempfehlen :-)
