The staff should be a bit faster. We had to wait a very long time for our order. There were problems with the order. In such a case, I would expect guests to be offered at least a small compensation (which didn't happen). The dishes tasted fine, but the price-performance ratio is not right!

We went to Mamma Roma last night, and it was one of those evenings you don't plan—you just enjoy. From the moment you walk in, you feel welcome. Not that forced "restaurant smile," but genuine Italian hospitality. The food? Made with love. You can taste that it's not just a cooking experience, but that there's someone behind it who truly cares about their guests leaving happy. The pasta was cooked to perfection, the ingredients fresh, aromatic, and authentic. No gimmicks—just good, genuine Italian food. Exactly as you'd want it. But what really sticks with you is the feeling. That warm, familial atmosphere where you briefly forget you're out in the everyday world. You sit there, eat, laugh, and think to yourself: This is exactly why I go out to eat. We'll definitely be back. Thank you for this wonderful evening. 🇮🇹❤️

Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this place. - Portions too small - Food okay, but nothing special and too expensive for what it is - Approximately 2-hour wait for the food - 20-minute wait before we could pay - Inattentive service

The restaurant itself is great, but the drinks are tiny and the wait for food is over an hour. So, honestly, it's not worth it with children. There's a large selection of food that tastes good, but that's about it.

Unfortunately, quality is declining here too, and prices are rising. Bread used to be served with the starter; today, bread costs an extra €7!

A true highlight in Waiblingen! The two of us were on a business trip and recently stayed overnight in Waiblingen. We had dinner at the Italian restaurant Mamma Roma in Waiblingen – and we were delighted! The service was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and warm. You immediately feel welcome and well looked after. For starters, we shared two classics: • Tomato slices with mozzarella – fresh, aromatic, and perfectly seasoned. • Beef carpaccio – wafer-thinly sliced, tender, and refined with a delicate dressing. The beef fillet as the main course was a true taste experience: tender, perfectly cooked, and of very high quality. The homemade pasta and pinsa were also top-notch! The wine selection was also very good – the recommendations paired perfectly with the dishes and rounded off the evening wonderfully. To finish, we had a classic tiramisu, which was wonderfully creamy and flavorful – a perfect conclusion to an all-round successful meal. The ambiance is cozy and stylish—ideal for a relaxed dinner or a special occasion. Conclusion: Great food, excellent wine, friendly service, and a delicious tiramisu—we'll definitely be back!

The food is good, but the owner is very unfriendly. He "kicked us out" after half an hour with half-full plates. The table was reserved, but he forgot. It's a shame, but we won't be back.

The food was okay, but the friendliness and attentiveness of the staff left much to be desired. Unfortunately, the squid rings in the seafood salad were undercooked, which significantly diminished the quality of the dish.

I've been here many times now. Highly recommended. The terrace is great in summer. Always delicious and there are great events. When the boss sings in Mamma Roma with her great voice, everyone goes crazy. Soooo good. Beautifully designed Italian restaurant. Good wines and very friendly service round everything off. The chocolate cake with a liquid center was a highlight. If you want to eat pizza, this is not the place for you. But... There is also Pinsa. We'll be back.🍀

Wie bereits meine Überschrift sagt : erwartungsvoll auf gute Essens-Qualität und Geschmack sassen wir mit Freunden zum ersten male in diesem Restaurant - als auch zum letzten male! Ich bestellte Pasta mit Pfifferlingen und freute mich darauf, da Saison dieses Pilzes...nachdem der bestellte Insalata mista bereits zwar schön dekoriert aber völlig geschmacklos serviert wurde. Die Pasta schwamm fingerdick! in einem Öl/Butter-Meer, dass mir bereits beim Anblick der Apettit verging. Moniert war die Aussage der Küche : es wäre der Fehler eines Helfers gewesen, der diesen Fauxpas nicht bemerkt hätte !!?? Als nicht adäquate Entschuldigung bot man mir einen Schnaps meiner Wahl an! Mein Mann bestellte Pasta mit Filetstreifen in Tomatensosse : auch seine zu harten Orecchietti ( ich spreche nicht von al dente!) panschten in einer total ebenfalls überschüssigen durchschnittlichen Tomatensosse ( Geschmack einer Fertigsosse ), kaum Fleisch vorhanden! Also eine unterdurchnittliche Küche zu überdurchschnittlichen Preisen jeweils über 20 €, die weder dem schönen Ambiente gerecht wurde noch den freundlichen Servicekräften! Und lieber Herr Wirt: wenn derart offensichtlich moniert wird und wenigstens ein Versehen aus der Küche zugegeben wird, sollten sie es nicht bei einem gratis Limoncello belassen, sondern diese Speise komplett aus der Rechnung streichen... was mehr als fair wäre - und sowieso die Qualität ihres Koches überprüfen bzw die Preise anpassen! Als Hobbyköchin und Feinschmeckerin serviere ich nicht einmal an meinem schlechtesten Tage meiner Familie ein in Folge schlechtes Menü...und so liessen mein Mann und Ich über 70 € bei ihnen, die uns reuhten!

There were four of us and we were served very friendly and professionally. The pinta was tender and crispy, a perfect dough. The pasta dish had plenty of shrimp and was very tasty, only the chanterelle noodles had a little too much oil. It was great joy that the waitress was also up for any jokes, we had a fun evening. Prices are a bit high, but the location is great and we were just as happy with everything else. Great location!

Ambience and service unbeatable! Overall, the food was very tasty. Vitello a bit too expensive for the price compared to the main course. 5-6 wafer-thin slices of meat plus the tuna cream. Pasta in the main course was sautéed perfectly al dente in a tasty tomato sauce and pork cheeks. The only point of criticism from all the guests at the table: there was no saving on oil. Whether for the starter or the main course. But we'll be back!

The food was relatively good, but bad for the waiting time. But you also have to say that there was a lot going on that day. The owner was also very rude to several guests. Furthermore, other prices will be charged as advertised. The issue of goodwill towards customers is also given very little attention here, if not at all.

Had dinner at Mamma Roma today. The service was super nice and really attentive - took great care of everything. I had pasta with beef strips and tomato sauce, it didn't look like much, but it filled me up and was really tasty. My dad had the Pinsa Vegetaria and said it was great too. Finally there was tiramisu, which was awesome. Definitely worth 5 stars!

We had a lovely dinner for two at the Mamma Roma restaurant. At first we wanted to go out to eat nearby, but there was no space left. In the end, maybe that was our luck. We had two wonderful starters, carpaccio from Pulpo and Di Manzo, and as a main course, spaghetti, seafood and truffles, tossed in a Parmigiano wheel. For dessert there was a panna cotta. We were completely thrilled by the very good food and really enjoyed the evening. Also worth mentioning is the excellent and very personal service at the table. If we come to Waiblingen again, we will definitely eat here again. Thank you.

Wir waren zum Weihnachtsessen da. Trotz eines volles Restaurants wurden wir sehr schnell und freundlich bedient. Das Essen dauerte für ein volles Restaurant nicht lang und war sehr lecker! Wie bei einer italienischen Mamma oder Nonna zu Hause! Wer hier essen geht, findet die ursprüngliche italienische Küche wieder und nicht das was man hier denkt Italienisch ist.

Das Restaurant liegt sehr zentral in Waiblingen. Das Essen ist sehr sehr lecker und das Personal sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Ein Besuch lohnt sich auf jeden Fall ! Sehr empfehlenswert!

VERY TASTY & NICE SERVICE I had lunch with a few people today. The service and the ambience, including fresh roses at the table, were great, and the food was also excellent. We had seafood pasta, seafood salad, spaghetti with mushrooms and pinsa parma. Unfortunately the truffles we were all looking forward to were gone. But we'll be happy to do that at the next opportunity. Mille Grazie to the entire Mamma Roma team. We'd love to come back :-).

My Italian of choice in Waiblingen and the surrounding area. The food is always perfect in any form, whether carne, pesce, pinsa or pasta. Every time I visited, I or the company always received excellent service. I'm already looking forward to the next visit, keep up the good work!

We were there on New Year's Eve, the menu was delicious. We also enjoyed our visits afterwards. The Pinsa is simply great! The prices are high but for us it is always something special that we are happy to afford because of the great location, the nice service and the good food.👍

Richtig schönes altes Gebäude, man fühlt sich auf Anhieb Willkommen als Gast. Aber vor allem ist die Qualität der Speisen auch vom Preis angemessen. Hier wird gut und frisch gekocht.

Deshalb1 Punkt Abzug beim Essen. Heute war ich auf der Herrentoilette - die ist nur für eine Person geeignet - der Zugang für eine zweite Person ist möglich und in meinem Fall unangenehm gewesen. Ambiente lass ich grad mal so bei 3 Sternen. Alle guten Dinge sind 3 Besuche, mal schaun dann sehn mer Schon. 202308 Essen ist spitze, Service bestens, gute Weine im 0.2er Glas. Man sitzt gut, einzig die anderen Gäste sitzen nah und es kann auch laut werden. Uns hat es gut gefallen und wir kommen sicher wieder.

Ich war zu einer Schulung in Waiblingen und habe beim schlendern durch die wirklich schöne Innenstadt ,dieses Restaurant gefunden . Klar ,die Preise sind "hoch" .. ABER ist das verwunderlich ? Die Mieten sind enorm gestiegen alle anderen Kosten rundherum auch und auch die Mitarbeiter wollen bezahlt werden . Das Ambiente fand ich sehr schön , direkt vor dem Restaurant ,das Wetter war gut ,man hatte eine schöne Aussicht und daneben ein Springbrunnen. Das Essen war auch sehr gut und genügend . Ein Besuch hierher lohnt sich

"Seele streicheln!" Wir haben gestern Abend im Freien bei "Mama Roma" einen wunderschönen Sommerabend, mit sehr freundlichem und aufmerksamen Service und leckerem Essen verbracht. Auch die Weine zu unserem Menü waren sehr lecker. Vielen Dank dem ganzen Team von "Mama Roma" Wir wollen bald wieder kommen.

Wir waren spontan in waiblingen. Das Team hat uns einen Tisch geschafft obwohl die Terrasse voll war.😳😁 Das essen war ausgezeichnet!!! Service war auch sehr beeindruckend nett bei einer volle Terrasse sogar. Ich kanns nur weiterempfehlen. Wir haben uns wirklich wie in Italien gefühlt. Als es dunkler wurde hat der nette Herr die lichter von italienischer Flagge angemacht😍 unglaubliche Ambiente... Top! Nur weiter so!!

Ich würde gerne mehr Sterne geben den das Essen war nicht schlecht, eine der Bedienung war auch sehr gut aber der Chef war während wir da waren sehr unhöflich zu einigen seiner Gäste, teilweise weil diese sich an einen Tisch gesetzt hatten der für mehr Personen, aber auch ein anderer gast wurde blöd angemacht weil er sich über den Preis einer Pasta beim Chef beschwert hat. Worte des erfahrenen Gastronomen sind gefallen wie: Gehen sie doch woanders hin, kommen sie doch nie wieder, wenn Ihnen das zu kompliziert ist mit den Tischen suchen sie sich einen anderen Laden usw. Uns war das richtig unangenehm auch das nacher mit den anderen Gästen gelästert wurde. Die Preise sind relativ Teuer für das was mann bekommt.

Wir haben sehr gut gegessen,freundliches Personal und schöne Lage auf dem Marktplatz.
