Great food, good quality, very friendly service, very fast

A very cozy restaurant. Varied menu. We ate steak and schnitzel, both really good. The waitresses were quick and very friendly. We'll definitely come back.

I noticed the great €6.90 promotion for the first time yesterday. Had roast beef with spaetzle, it was super tasty 😋, big compliments to the kitchen. Service was extremely friendly and attentive. We were all very satisfied and would love to come back.

I was recently at the pub in Waiblingen and was really looking forward to the promotion, which is why I ordered a cheeseburger with curly fries. Unfortunately, the experience didn't quite live up to my expectations. The burger's bread was very soggy and therefore very soft. The curly fries seemed to have been sitting for a long time and were no longer crispy. The meat of the burger also tasted a bit unusual, almost as if it had been previously cooked and then fried again. Unfortunately, the service didn't ask why I didn't finish the food, which I would have found helpful in such a situation. The process also seemed very rushed, as if it was more about taking and processing the order quickly. If the weather was good it would have been nice to sit on the terrace, but there was no service. Special requests were also rather reluctantly accepted. I hope this experience was just a one-time blip and would be happy to have a better experience on another visit.

Unfortunately, people were smoking at the neighboring table E, even though everyone was eating.

Food: Schnitzel without a lemon slice, portions are OK, taste is OK. Even with the drink, a little decoration wouldn't hurt. Service: We were probably unlucky, when we handed over the food the wrong schnitzels were given to the wrong people, the cutting test then showed it for us. Gravy was missing and the dish was brought back to us three times from the kitchen. It's difficult to tell the difference between turkey and pork. In general, the service was rather unfriendly, there was no indication that croquettes were no longer in stock and something was constantly being put at our place or taken away without asking. Ambience: So far it was the best for us. Modern and beautiful light and great view outside due to the large windows. A rating of 3 is very kind.

Reservations were made in advance at the CBC by telephone. When we arrived it was closed and we were directed to the inn. It could have been mentioned on the phone, but that's not a point of criticism. The point of criticism here would be the food and the service. Food was ordered. Two drinks, two salads and main courses each. Salad was fine as we received it before the drinks. Unusual but fine, but both were only received 20 minutes later after ordering. Then we had to wait another 1 hour and 15 minutes to receive our main course. After asking twice, nothing happens. A family that was next to us came later than we got their food earlier and left again just as we were receiving our main course. The main courses were cold. When we were finished, the service person asked as usual if it was okay and we explained the problem. At first we thought we didn't have to wait that long, but we had proof by chance in a picture we took the evening the salad arrived. Afterwards we were told that we weren't the only ones who had complained about the food today. All in all, you can say that apart from perhaps the ambience, there was nothing we could recommend and to top it all off, the whole fun also cost €65. So unfortunately a massive disappointment.

We were there for dinner, had bread dumplings with mushroom cream sauce and a 'small' side salad. Everything was very tasty, the salad was rather large and at a very reasonable price. Even though there were quite a few guests there, we were served very friendly and quickly. Thank you very much, we will definitely come back.

Today we had a late, very tasty lunch with very friendly service and in a beautiful location. Quality and taste were really good. The price is more than accommodating. We will be back and can really recommend the inn.

Die Hauptspeisekarte ist etwas zu breit gefächert, von allem etwas (Schnitzel, Steaks, Burger, Pizza), das riecht nach Convinience. Qualität war normal (mein Kalbsschnitzel war etwas zu durch), Portion war gur, Preise dafür aber eher zu hoch. Service war gut und aufmerksam, aber wenn der doch sehr große Laden denn voll wäre, sind die wohl unterbesetzt. Bei uns war es unter der Woche recht überschaubar. 3,5 wäre als Bewertung ok, hier geht ja nur 3 oder 4, 4 ist aber zu viel.

Very nice restaurant, the food was very tasty

If you're hungry, it fills you up, but unfortunately nothing more. Everything was a bit bland and parcels...some of the meat wasn't quite cooked through. Service was nice and very hard working! Addendum after reaction from the restaurant: The food tasted very bland for both dishes (Wiki definition: "tasteless" among other things) and packet means spaetzle is not homemade but just cooked, sauce base probably powder...

Sat outside, was very comfortable. Service excellent, fast and friendly. Food came very quickly and was good. Would love to come back.

A very friendly and qualified staff. The location is central and easy to find. The menu is very varied, from typically Swabian to international. What we ate was delicious and inexpensive. I highly recommend it.

A small apology in advance. The nice and quick waitress asked me at the right time whether I was satisfied. Unfortunately, I have found that even friendly criticism either doesn't help or leads to unpleasant discussions. Now to the restaurant. Service very good. I had roast pork with spaetzle. I think the roast was pre-cut and reheated. Therefore it was a bit dry and just not as juicy as it should be. The spaetzle seemed pre-cooked to me. Both would probably have tasted good freshly prepared. By the way, the coleslaw was great. The way it is prepared is also reflected in how quickly it is served. The food was on the table after 5 minutes. So there is still potential for improvement.

The restaurant was recommended to us by locals and the food was very good. The music was tiring for a long time and the tables weren't exactly inviting but clean. Everything is very dark. Unfortunately there is no parking space.

Nice restaurant in the center of Waiblingen. The restaurant has a large menu with many Swabian and international dishes. Staff is very friendly. Very quick preparation of the food. The CBC and the inn at the old Postplatz belong to the same owner. Therefore, sometimes only one restaurant is open, but you can choose from both menus. There are various special promotions on a regular basis.

The food was good to very good. The staff very attentive and friendly. The premises were a bit noisy as the restaurant was busy.

There were 7 of us and everyone had a different dish. We were all very happy with the food choice. For dessert we had the Mandelkaiserschmarrn, it was fresh and absolutely delicious. I would also like to emphasize the condition. The condition was very friendly and attentive. We'll definitely be back!

The food actually tasted good, but the price was not good. Portions were very small, which certainly explains the fact that the seats weren't fully booked on a Friday evening. This is where you go when the good restaurants are fully booked. It's a shame, the atmosphere is actually very nice.

This was our third time within the €6.90 promotion for each meal. Last time the owner invited us - the campaign will be extended for another 4 weeks. We were happy about it and came back in the evening of the last week of the campaign. Our jaws dropped when the waitress brought us the bill! The campaign would only last until 5 p.m. every day! That's what you call ripping people off! I will definitely never visit this restaurant again!

Had dinner there today and unfortunately it was very disappointing. The salad was clearly out of the package and the meat on it was tough and dry and that for €19.90. The toilets look like they haven't been cleaned in months. The floor sticks, one sink doesn't work and you splash yourself from top to bottom with the other. The only positive thing is nice service but nothing more. It's always been good when ordering, but that's all gone after today.

We became aware of the restaurant through the €6.90 promotion. Of course everything was always full, but even though it's more expensive now - it's worth every cent! Great, pleasant atmosphere with nice decor and pleasant background music, super nice waiter (and good-looking!) and the food was really, really great! The homemade lemonades are very tasty and, above all, a really big glass. Regardless of the promotion, we will definitely come back - we felt very comfortable, ate very well and had a very nice evening. Unreserved recommendation!!!

You can eat there for the price during the “Promotion 6.90”. If necessary, as we did, two meals. The portions were very small (unlike the first 2 weeks of the promotion). We asked the waitress about it but were only told that there was nothing she could do about it (so much for the boss's statement that no one has to leave hungry ;-). The food is pure ready-made and the presentation is straight out of a goulash cannon. For the price you have to accept that, but we prefer to pay more and get quality and culinary art in return. The service was good and you wonder how the staff can still work in a friendly manner in this noise and hectic pace. Praise for that!

We became aware of the campaign through the Stuttgarter Zeitung. We reserved a table by phone. Went there for lunch today. Boss personally at the reception desk. We got a nice table by the window. Ms. H and her colleagues served us very friendly and served us very tasty food (roast roast and roast pork). Even though there was a bear dancing in the restaurant, there was no rush in the service. Thumbs up for the campaign! There are even hygiene products in the toilet.

Due to the promotion, all meals for €6.90, we ate here for the second time yesterday. Unfortunately, we have discovered that there is cheating going on here. At the beginning of the campaign, the host promised that nothing would change in the quality and quantity of the food on offer. We ordered onion roast with fried potatoes and discovered that the piece of meat was very tasty but was significantly smaller than it was about 2 weeks ago when we were there for the first time. Under normal circumstances I would not have paid €29 for this or complained. It's a shame that the promise wasn't kept here. Otherwise, it should be mentioned that despite the large number of guests, the service was very friendly and tried to make their guests happy.

We were here to celebrate our son's birthday - of course there was a lot going on due to the low price. The team there tried hard and was very professional. We were in the inn during the campaign (all meals 6.99 euros) and everything started well. Food and drinks came quickly and the quality was really good for the price. The service was initially friendly. We had reserved for 5:30 p.m. At around 6:50 p.m. we had ordered a dessert for the children. Shortly after 7 p.m. the waitress came to us and said in a very brisk tone that she had to collect now and that we had to clear the table for the next guests, since we were had only reserved 2 hours (which is correct). I pointed out to her that we still had almost half an hour left. She wanted to clarify it (probably with her boss). In addition, we had not yet received dessert for the kids. She said she would pack it up and give it to us, but that wasn't an option for us. Then a few minutes later she came back with the packed dessert and said we have to leave now and are not allowed to eat the dessert here anymore. We then said that we didn't want dessert under these circumstances. She then got offended and said in front of the children that she was now throwing it in the trash. 2 minutes later another waiter or the boss came to say that we could stay because the other guests (who were probably promised a table from 7 p.m.) had left in a huff, which wasn't our problem. Since we had already paid by this point and the dessert had already ended up in the trash, we left anyway. It's a shame that it turned out this way. With better and friendlier communication from the waitress or a senior employee, the whole thing might have been more positive... but as it was, it was an absolute nonsense.

We had two onion roasts which were very good. I could get sucked into the sauce. Because of the promotion, the spaetzle wasn't homemade but was still perfectly fine. But we also knew beforehand that it would be like this. The meat was super tender and the knife went through it like butter. We'll definitely come back even without an offer. :D With an onion roast for a normal price of €28, the meat is hopefully a little bit bigger ;) Thank you for the unexpectedly great Monday evening.

We were here for dinner today (March 10, 2024) with 11 people. I didn't know that all meals were available at a special price of 6.90 euros each, in protest against the federal government's VAT increase. We had reserved a table. The food was simply delicious. We all had our food within a very short time. A perfect staff, very polite and quick. We will come back!!!! We were happy to make a generous donation for a good cause. This “tavern” deserves more than 5 stars!! Big praise and thanks to the owner.

Had a Wiener Schnitzel and was unfortunately not very impressed. Barely stuffed to zero, the breading literally stuck to the meat (see picture 2). Spaetzle looked like it came out of a bag and there was no sauce (you had to order it separately). Addendum: It was pointed out that the spaetzle were homemade, even if, in my opinion, they didn't look that way and tasted rather so-so. (I hope this description is more accurate and suits the management better). Since nothing was said about the other points, I accept it that way. After removing the breading, you could clearly see from the schnitzel that it had been flattened with the jagged side of the hammer...what a shame about the good veal! That's why it was unfortunately not at all tender and quite difficult to chew. If there wasn't a promotion at the moment (all dishes €6.90 until 8:30 p.m.) and I had to pay the full price of over €26 (!!!), I would have been really pissed. When it comes to preparing the dish, everyone can make their own judgment (see photo 1) Ambiance is bright and open and quite ok. When I say "nothing special" I mean it kindly. Was expecting more. Ordered something home months ago...it was really, really good back then...unfortunately it's gone down a lot 🤷‍♂️ 2. Addendum: Thank you for your honesty, I will consider it based on your openness and hope to soon be lifted from your kitchen into pleasant taste dimensions (I know that you can actually do it). (P.s. If so, Mr. Gutschtl and the name is a synonym)

We were there this afternoon and spontaneously wanted to eat something. Instead of telling us in a normal tone or even charmingly that there were no seats (even though almost the entire restaurant was free), the somewhat unkempt employee with a lady's beard almost whispered to us that there was no more space and that we could only sit in one You could set up a collection table next to the bar. When we replied “No thanks, next time,” she tapped the pen on the same table and said “Here!” There was already a man eating at the table. Disrespectful and extremely unfriendly. With such a staff, even the best low-price promotion is no longer of any use... 🙈

All 4 meals were cold. In addition, they came at a different time, 10 minutes apart between two meals, which was really not nice. The service was hopelessly overwhelmed. The starter wasn't cleared away so the main course came. The main course wasn't even cleared away when we paid. A lot of effort was made, it was probably very full due to the current promotion, unfortunately the service was not good.

Februar und März Aktion: alle Speisen von der Karte für nur € 6,90. Super Angebot, aber Rostbraten leider zäh und trocken. Hoffentlich für den normalen Preis eine bessere Qualität. Ambiente kantinenmäßig und laut. Toiletten versifft, Handtuchhalter alle leer. Da kommt kein Wohlgefühl auf.

The food was very tasty, but over €4 for a 0.4l no-name iced tea and €23 for schnitzel are extremely high prices and I personally don't think you have to pay extra for a sauce. Service was okay but nothing special!

Large space with a view of the downtown Waiblingen pedestrian zone. The food has always been great. Roast roast, cordon bleu, schnitzel varieties of all kinds and pork loin are only recommended. Caesar salad for vegetarians with chicken pieces as an alternative is also a treat. Tavern campaign for a good cause for €6.90 for every meal is an impressive campaign by the owner and shows what good will is at work here.

These were the best spaetzle we have eaten in a restaurant. The roast beef and the Jägerschnitzel were a poem. Very friendly service. Great fundraiser. Thanks for the great evening.

We went here to eat with the voucher booklet. The place was very empty, but we weren't allowed to choose where to sit. The waiter didn't answer the question. We found it unfriendly. When the voucher booklet was mentioned, there was a funny face, but no comment. Serving still water seems to be a problem. The food was cold. Was brought back to us warmed up. Dumplings unfortunately tasteless, sauce really soggy, floury. Tastes like Päckle sauce. Salad was OK, but the sauce tasted like it came out of a bag! Unfortunately we won't be eating here again. The women's toilets could be cleaned properly and the floor there should be mopped properly (including in the corners). Spider webs could be removed. Everything felt a bit unhygienic. It was an experience, but unfortunately not recommended. A pity.

Sehr zuvorkommender und freundlicher Service! Das Essen war gut aber nicht überragend. Sehr ordentliche Portionen dafür sind die Preise auch etwas höher. Die Preise für Getränke und den Beilagensalat sind leider ziemlich ambitioniert.

Durch den Schlemmerblock sind wir hier eingekehrt. Konnten ohne Reservierung direkt an einen Tisch. Die Servicekraft hat uns sehr freundlich empfangen. Das Restaurant sieht fantastisch aus, so auch unsere Essen. Leider sah es besser aus als es geschmeckt hat. An Geschmack und pfiff hat es den Soßen gefehlt und die Spätzle haben etwas wässrig geschmeckt. Hervorragend dagegen war der Rostbraten und das Schnitzel. Sehr schade, vielleicht einfach mal selber probieren, ich denke dann fällt das recht schnell auf. Super Location, wie gesagt. Vielleicht starten wir in ein paar Monaten nochmal einen Versuch. Die Servicekraft war sehr sehr freundlich, daher umso mehr schade, dass das Essen keine 5/5 war.

Der Zwiebelrostbraten meiner Kollegen ist nicht warm gewesen. Mein salat mit Putenstteifen ist geschmacklich gut gewesen.

Wir waren hier bereits zum 2. Mal und haben uns direkt wohl und gut empfangen gefühlt. Das Essen die Cocktails schmecken hervorragend, der große blonde Kellner ist auch sehr nett und hat uns sehr höflich bedient. Das Ambiente ist sehr gemütlich und es gibt gratis WLAN.

Schönes Lokas mit überaus freundlicher Bedienung. Haben nur etwas getrunken....

Bruschetta bestellt als Vorspeise zu zweit. Ein Teller kam.. normalerweise bekommt man dann noch zwei kleine dazu, hier nicht. Das Brot war warm und das Topping arschkalt. Einer Katastrophe. Die Hauptspeise war ganz okay. Die Musik ist grauenhaft. Nur weil es Wirtshaus heißt muss man doch nicht ausschließlich Schlager und Almmusik spielen. Das Ambiente ist echt in Ordnung, leider war es das dann auch schon.

Ich habe vor einiger Zeit das letzte Mal vor Ort gegessen, es war jedesmal sehr lecker, sehr gute Portionen und geschmacklich top! Auch der Service war prima, schnell und freundlich. Schade ist, dass der Eingang nicht barrierefrei ist und wir so nie mit der ganzen Familie herkönnen, da manche einen Rollator benötigen. Gestern habe ich zum zweiten Mal über Lieferando bestellt. Angegeben waren 40 Minuten Lieferzeit, geliefert wurde nach 25 Minuten! Einfach top! Essen war alles heiß, Pizza, Penne und Maultaschen. Geschmacklich super, lediglich ein paar Penne mehr hätten meinen hungrigen Mann noch mehr erfreut. Wir bestellen wieder!

Essen teilweise überteuert. Tiramisu wurde als große Portion angepriesen, aber eher normal. Für den Preis ganz klar zu teuer. Kaffee nicht geschmeckt.

Wir waren nicht das erste Mal hier. Hatten Fleisch vom Grill, etwas zäh, ohne Geschmack, also Preis Leistung hat nicht gepasst. Hätten was anderes bestellen sollen.

Wir waren jetzt innerhalb von drei Tagen zweimal dort essen. Alles sehr lecker. Mandel-Kaiserschmarrn, Wirtshaus Salat, ofenfrischer Schweinebraten. Sehr freundlicher Service. Wir können es nur empfehlen und werden auf jeden Fall wieder kommen.

Das Essen war gut, eher Durchschnitt, aber dennoch lecker. Dafür waren Service und Ambiente wirklich sehr gut. Insgesamt war die Preis/Leistung gut und wir kommen bestimmt mal wieder.

Das Ambiente war früher gemütlicher und einladender. Leider ist seit dem Umbau auch meist sehr wenig los. Die Bedienung war sehr nett. Das Essen war leider wiederholt nicht gut. Die Linsen mit Spätzle und Saiten hatten eine Soße die süßlich nach Gewürzketchup oder ähnliches schmeckte. Die Schweinelende waren leider komplett trocken und das Buttergemüse ist ein Grillgemüse.

Sehr gutes und reichhaltiges Essen.Sevice Mitarbeiter sind sehr freundlich.Leider für Rollstuhlfahrer eher nicht so gut da meines Wissens kein Aufzug vorhanden ist.Der Hauptteil des Restaurants befindet sich in der oberen Etage.

The vegetarian schnitzel is as a chunk of fried zucchini and a veeeeery think slice of fried eggplant. Im sorry but it was terrible. And it costs 18 something Euros. this vegetarian option was very overpriced.

Leckeres Essen und sehr nette und aufmerksame Bedienung. Cocktails waren auch lecker und schön zubereitet. Preislich kann man hier auch nichts beanstanden, da die Portionen sehr großzügig sind! Gibt sehr viel Auswahl an verschiedenen Speisen, aber trotzdem lecker. Ambiente ist normal, nichts besonderes.

Ceasar Salat gabs mit einer Art Joghurt-Mayo-Sauce anstatt eines Ceasar-Dressings. Schade, weil das macht das Gericht ja eigentlich aus.
