Von außen wirkt das Restaurant eher unscheinbar, doch der erste Eindruck täuscht. Im Inneren erwartet einen ein großzügig gestaltetes und geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Restaurant mit einer angenehmen und entspannten Atmosphäre. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Zunächst haben wir nur Getränke bestellt und uns erst später für das Essen entschieden. Das war überhaupt kein Problem und wurde sehr unkompliziert gehandhabt. Das Essen hat uns gut geschmeckt und überzeugt auch durch ein sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Besonders positiv überrascht waren wir von den großzügigen Portionen – heutzutage keine Selbstverständlichkeit. Insgesamt hatten wir einen sehr angenehmen Aufenthalt und kommen gerne wieder.

Service war schnell und freundlich. Essen und Trinken war lecker und der Preis hat gepasst.

Super nettes Personal (fast nur Männer, was wir so von Restaurants nicht kennen), tolle Lokation (auch um draußen zu Essen) und super leckere Speisen. Die Tische draußen waren komplett belegt, innen zu einem Viertel ungefähr, dennoch hatten wir quasi keine Wartezeit beim bestellen und unsere 4 Gerichte+ Getränke waren auch nach knapp 15 min bereits am Platz. Waren jetzt schon oft hier und hatten noch nie etwas auszusetzen (obwohl unsere Kinder beim Essen nicht ganz einfach zufriedenzustellen sind). Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr großer Innen- und Außenbereich. Der Außenbereich ist allerdings nur eher wie ein Wintergarten, hier darf dann aber auch geraucht werden, sodass der Rauch sehr hängen bleibt. Das Essen war gut und die Bedienung schnell. Die Cocktails waren in Ordnung aber nichts besonderes.

Spontan für das Mauritius entschlossen und wurde keineswegs enttäuscht. Aufmerksamer und stets freundlicher Service. Die Pizza (Parma) klasse. Vom knusprigen Teig bis zum Belag ein tolles Geschmackserlebnis. Jederzeit gerne wieder.

Mauritius: Meine Tochter liebt es und wir auch. Gutes Essen von Pinsa, über Pizza, Burger, Bowles, Steak... Alles da. Einrichtung erinnert an Strandkokal - Urlaubsfeeling. Schneller Setvice. Preis o.k. Für jeden was dabei, auch leckere Cocktails mit und ohne Alkohol.

Wir sind gestern eher ungeplant im Mauritius gelandet – und was soll ich sagen: Es war die beste Entscheidung des Abends. Nach einer vorherigen Enttäuschung wurden wir hier sofort freundlich empfangen und trotz spontaner Situation problemlos untergebracht. Genau so stellt man sich Service vor. Das Essen war durchweg sehr lecker, die Atmosphäre entspannt und angenehm, und vor allem der Service war wirklich herausragend: aufmerksam, herzlich und absolut professionell. Man hat sich von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt, und genau das hat den Abend für uns besonders gemacht. Wir konnten unser Treffen mit alten Kollegen dadurch doch noch in vollen Zügen genießen. Ein großes Dankeschön an das gesamte Team – wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder!

Prinzipiell war es hier immer recht schön, nur waren die Besuche im Endeffekt ausschließlich eine einzige Vollkatastrophe... dumm gelaufen

Wir waren im Mauritius essen und das Essen war wirklich super, geschmacklich absolut überzeugend und schön angerichtet. Leider wurde der insgesamt positive Eindruck durch den Service stark getrübt. Die Mitarbeitenden wirkten unfreundlich und teilweise sogar unverschämt. Während unseres Aufenthalts wurde mehrfach versucht, uns die Teller wegzunehmen, obwohl wir noch am Essen waren, und wir hatten das Gefühl, ständig unter Beobachtung zu stehen. Besonders unangenehm war der Umgangston, als wir freundlich gefragt haben, ob wir uns an einen ruhigeren Platz setzen können, da es sehr voll und laut um uns war. Statt einer höflichen Antwort wurden wir in einem unangemessenen Ton mit „Hören Sie mal zu…“ angesprochen, was wir als respektlos empfunden haben. Sehr schade, denn das Essen ist wirklich empfehlenswert, am Service sollte jedoch dringend gearbeitet werden.

Dieses Restaurant liegt in unserer Straße. Ich bin früher ständig daran vorbeigegangen, hatte aber nie die Gelegenheit (oder einen Grund), hineinzugehen. Und das bereue ich sehr, denn das Essen ist köstlich, die Portionen sind groß, die Pizza wird mit Sauerteig gebacken und der Service ist gut. Die Preise sind durchschnittlich. Deshalb kommen so viele Leute, besonders am Wochenende. Die Bar bietet eine recht große Auswahl an Getränken, und auf der Speisekarte stehen auch Desserts mit Likör. Ich bin so froh, dass ich diesen Ort entdeckt habe, und er ist auch noch ganz in der Nähe! 👍

Immer wieder schön hier zu Essen. Großes Lob an die arabische Bedienung mit den langen Haaren. Immer gut drauf und kümmert sich super um die Gäste. Egal wie viel los ist.

SUPER ESSEN, Sehr nette Bedienungen !!!

Wir waren insgesamt sehr zufrieden mit unserem Besuch. Der Service war aufmerksam und freundlich, und das Essen war wirklich sehr lecker – geschmacklich absolut überzeugend. Man merkt, dass sich das Team Mühe gibt. Einen Stern ziehe ich jedoch ab, da uns das Verhalten der Chefin (mit dem hell türkis-grünen Pullover) gegenüber den Mitarbeitenden negativ aufgefallen ist. Der Umgangston war deutlich hör- und sichtbar unfreundlich, was für uns als Gäste sehr unangenehm war. Eine respektvolle Atmosphäre im Team trägt auch viel zum Wohlfühlfaktor bei. Trotzdem bedanken wir uns für das gute Essen und den insgesamt schönen Aufenthalt.

Der Service ist sehr überfordert und die Allergenen Karte ist auch Quatsch. Online stehen mehrere Speisen die angeblich Glutenfrei sein sollen, angekommen gab es keine dieser speisen auf der Karte. Zudem wirde die Pommes dort sls gluten frei beschrieben und vor Ort wurde jns mitgeteilt dass diese Gluten beinhalten. Ich selber habe dennoch eine Portuon bestellt und nach 30 minütigen warten für EINE Portion pommes hab ich nachgefragt und die Bedienung sagte dass diese gleich kommen sollte. nach weiteren 15 Minuten kamen sie endlich. 45 MINUTEN für POMMES !!!!!!!!???

Wir sind eigentlich sehr gerne in diesem Restaurant. Umso enttäuschter waren wir bei unserem letzten Besuch. Wir haben ganz normal und freundlich nachgefragt, welche Sahne für den Espresso Martini verwendet wird, da es ja Sprühsahne und Milchsahne für Getränke gibt! Leider wurde mir darauf hin in einem unangenehmen Ton gesagt, das sein ein Getränk und kein Dessert. Als hätte wir uns das nicht selbst denken können, bei einer „Getränkekarte“ Sehr schade, denn wir komme eigentlich oft und gerne hierher. Leider ist uns der unfreundliche und von oben herab wirkende Umgangston nicht zum ersten Mal aufgefallen. Gerade in einem Restaurant, das man regelmäßig besucht und schätzt, wünscht man sich einen freundlicheren Umgang.

Der Service ist aufmerksam und freundlich, die Getränke und Speisen sind konstant lecker und schön angerichtet. Besonders schätzen wir auch das angenehme Ambiente – perfekt zum Abschalten und Genießen. Außerdem ist das Restaurant immer sauber und gepflegt, was heutzutage leider nicht selbstverständlich ist. Everything was fine at first, until the male server approached us. When we (as adults) asked if it was possible to order a child's portion, he responded extremely unprofessionally. He said, "NO! Are you a child?" We denied this. He then said, "Who are you arguing with? Should I get my boss?!" This was extremely unpleasant for us. This minor issue could have been handled more professionally.

So if you want a proper piece of meat on a hot stone, you shouldn't necessarily order it here, as there are better options in the area.

To the Mauritius Team: The Mauritius in Waiblingen is actually a lovely restaurant, and the staff is friendly – ​​no question about that. But honestly, it was quite annoying that someone was at the table every 5-10 minutes asking if everything was alright. After the third time, you no longer feel well taken care of, but simply constantly interrupted. I know that attentiveness is important, but here it was just too much. A little more distance would definitely improve the experience. Otherwise, the restaurant is really pleasant – you just need to be able to sit in peace every now and then.

The staff at reception were exceptionally friendly and immediately showed us to our reserved table. Our first impression was entirely positive: The restaurant is very cozy and decorated with great attention to detail. The name "Mauritius" alone evokes a certain vacation feeling that makes you feel instantly welcome. What particularly stood out to us was the overall service. The staff is not only friendly but also courteous, helpful, quick, and efficient. You can tell that the well-being of the guests is always the top priority. Even the manager was personally present and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere – a truly positive overall experience. Since we weren't hungry that evening, we focused on the cocktail menu. The selection is fantastic! There's a wealth of alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations, so there's something for everyone. While enjoying our drinks, we noticed that the food at neighboring tables not only looked delicious but was also served in generous portions – a good reason to return soon to try the kitchen. Accessibility: A big thumbs up for this area as well! The entrance is at ground level and step-free, making it easy to get into the restaurant. All areas, including a spacious and spotlessly clean accessible restroom, are easily accessible by wheelchair. One minor point: our table wasn't wheelchair accessible. However, this doesn't detract from the very positive overall impression, as perhaps more suitable tables are available upon request. Conclusion: A thoroughly enjoyable visit! Beware! Parking tickets are being handed out here outside of business hours... It's more expensive than the meal; this "fun" cost me a whopping €107. Thanks for that, dear Mauritius team, for not blocking a parking space for any other guest at 9 a.m. and still giving me a ticket. A private company that's just sent out to collect hefty fines... In my opinion, it's pure extortion. What a shame.

I have to say that the quality has noticeably declined lately. Two to three years ago, the taste was significantly better and the overall quality was much more convincing. It's a shame, because I was really very satisfied back then. I hope you'll return to your previous quality.

The service itself was excellent. However, I was asked every 5-10 minutes if everything was okay. This is fine once or twice, but then I'd like to be able to eat or chat in peace. My plate was taken away immediately even though I was still eating. It felt like they had nothing better to do and just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible, hence only 2 out of 5 for service. The ambiance was very nice, perhaps a little more light would be good. But it was definitely very cozy as it was. The food was delicious and served incredibly quickly. The drinks were also very good!

On a Monday while traveling, we quickly looked for a restaurant and luckily found this one 😍 We and our two dogs were served very friendly. The food was incredibly delicious and we didn't have to wait long. We are completely satisfied and hope to come back soon.

A colleague and I wanted to go there for dinner and Dotty and I got a table straight away. The menu has a more hip feel, lots of cocktails, cheese spaetzle with fancy names and the stuff tastes good, but the price is pretty high for what you get, you really get more for your money from a different restaurant. And there was a bit too much ice in the cocktail too, but I can understand it, it's just a chain restaurant and the taste was really good, it's definitely a nice place to have a cool time with friends. But if you're watching your money then it might be better to go somewhere else, everyone else will have fun.

This is how (system) gastronomy works! You feel welcome from the first moment! Every service person smiles, greets you in a friendly manner and is very attentive. Orders are taken quickly and served within a very short time, whether drinks or food. Many restaurants, including owner-operated ones, can learn a lot from this!

Really exceptionally attentive service there. The ambience has a Caribbean touch. From salads and bowls to burgers and steak to cheese spaetzle, everything on the menu. At lunchtime, some of the dishes are available for a few euros cheaper.
