Unfortunately, the wrong crowd…! Drinks were good, atmosphere was good, but please, no cola-drinking Talahoons. TikTok can be done quietly at the next table… there are people who don't want to hear these videos… Sadly, this was my last visit to Mauritius Waiblingen.

Delicious food, very friendly and fast service, and reasonable prices. The only downside: clothes smell strongly of food afterwards. The ventilation needs improvement.

A truly fantastic visit to Mauritius Waiblingen! The ambiance is pleasant, the food and drinks are consistently excellent – ​​but the absolute highlight was the service. A very special compliment goes to Cristina. It's rare to experience such exceptionally kind, professional, and incredibly calm service. No matter how busy it was, Cristina remained friendly, attentive, and composed. Her calm demeanor is contagious, creating a relaxed and very pleasant atmosphere. With her, you don't just feel served, but truly welcomed and valued. It's precisely these kinds of employees who make all the difference and leave a lasting impression. Thank you so much for this wonderful service – we will definitely be back!

Everything was fine at first, until the male server approached us. When we (as adults) asked if it was possible to order a child's portion, he responded extremely unprofessionally. He said, "NO! Are you a child?" We denied this. He then said, "Who are you arguing with? Should I get my boss?!" This was extremely unpleasant for us. This minor issue could have been handled more professionally.

So if you want a proper piece of meat on a hot stone, you shouldn't necessarily order it here, as there are better options in the area.

Hats off to you – your pizza is absolutely amazing! I've rarely had the pleasure of enjoying such a delicious pizza. It not only tastes fantastic, but it's special in every way: The dough is exceptionally flavorful and perfectly prepared, and the toppings are chosen with great care and taste. Beware! Parking tickets are being handed out here outside of business hours... It's more expensive than the meal; this "fun" cost me a whopping €107. Thanks for that, dear Mauritius team, for not blocking a parking space for any other guest at 9 a.m. and still giving me a ticket. A private company that's just sent out to collect hefty fines... In my opinion, it's pure extortion. What a shame.

To the Mauritius Team: The Mauritius in Waiblingen is actually a lovely restaurant, and the staff is friendly – ​​no question about that. But honestly, it was quite annoying that someone was at the table every 5-10 minutes asking if everything was alright. After the third time, you no longer feel well taken care of, but simply constantly interrupted. I know that attentiveness is important, but here it was just too much. A little more distance would definitely improve the experience. Otherwise, the restaurant is really pleasant – you just need to be able to sit in peace every now and then.

The staff at reception were exceptionally friendly and immediately showed us to our reserved table. Our first impression was entirely positive: The restaurant is very cozy and decorated with great attention to detail. The name "Mauritius" alone evokes a certain vacation feeling that makes you feel instantly welcome. What particularly stood out to us was the overall service. The staff is not only friendly but also courteous, helpful, quick, and efficient. You can tell that the well-being of the guests is always the top priority. Even the manager was personally present and contributed to a pleasant atmosphere – a truly positive overall experience. Since we weren't hungry that evening, we focused on the cocktail menu. The selection is fantastic! There's a wealth of alcoholic and non-alcoholic creations, so there's something for everyone. While enjoying our drinks, we noticed that the food at neighboring tables not only looked delicious but was also served in generous portions – a good reason to return soon to try the kitchen. Accessibility: A big thumbs up for this area as well! The entrance is at ground level and step-free, making it easy to get into the restaurant. All areas, including a spacious and spotlessly clean accessible restroom, are easily accessible by wheelchair. One minor point: our table wasn't wheelchair accessible. However, this doesn't detract from the very positive overall impression, as perhaps more suitable tables are available upon request. Conclusion: A thoroughly enjoyable visit! We felt exceptionally well looked after and thoroughly enjoyed the evening in the relaxed, vacation-like atmosphere. We will definitely be back and highly recommend Restaurant Mauritius!

I have to say that the quality has noticeably declined lately. Two to three years ago, the taste was significantly better and the overall quality was much more convincing. It's a shame, because I was really very satisfied back then. I hope you'll return to your previous quality.

The service itself was excellent. However, I was asked every 5-10 minutes if everything was okay. This is fine once or twice, but then I'd like to be able to eat or chat in peace. My plate was taken away immediately even though I was still eating. It felt like they had nothing better to do and just wanted to get rid of me as quickly as possible, hence only 2 out of 5 for service. The ambiance was very nice, perhaps a little more light would be good. But it was definitely very cozy as it was. The food was delicious and served incredibly quickly. The drinks were also very good!

On a Monday while traveling, we quickly looked for a restaurant and luckily found this one 😍 We and our two dogs were served very friendly. The food was incredibly delicious and we didn't have to wait long. We are completely satisfied and hope to come back soon.

A colleague and I wanted to go there for dinner and Dotty and I got a table straight away. The menu has a more hip feel, lots of cocktails, cheese spaetzle with fancy names and the stuff tastes good, but the price is pretty high for what you get, you really get more for your money from a different restaurant. And there was a bit too much ice in the cocktail too, but I can understand it, it's just a chain restaurant and the taste was really good, it's definitely a nice place to have a cool time with friends. But if you're watching your money then it might be better to go somewhere else, everyone else will have fun.

Bottom line: If you're looking for good food, a friendly atmosphere, and a place where children also feel welcome – you've come to the right place. Really exceptionally attentive service there. The ambience has a Caribbean touch. From salads and bowls to burgers and steak to cheese spaetzle, everything on the menu. At lunchtime, some of the dishes are available for a few euros cheaper.

The pizza was a very unusual pizza than what I was used to by default, but that's by no means a bad thing. The triple salami clatters three times, as the name says, and my smacking could be heard throughout the restaurant. The beer also completely satisfied my alcohol addiction and since I was there with my girlfriend, the whole thing unfortunately couldn't end in complete intoxication. The chicken is well seasoned, which might put off normal Germans, but that's how it has to be! Special requests are also taken into account, which is always nice to see. In terms of price, the whole thing is a bit more expensive, but we're not low earners, are we? Would come again

The name says it all. Caribbean and southern cuisine as well as bowls and burgers. The furnishings convey a Caribbean flair. We had the Caribbean Grilled Chicken, the Mauri Box and a shepherd's salad. We found everything very good and something different from what you normally get in classic restaurants. The service was really very good. Very courteous, committed and not intrusive. We would be happy to come back and recommend it to others.
