We were in Fürth for a short vacation. While strolling through the city streets, we stumbled upon Mamma Mia Pizzeria. What can I say... what a delightful discovery! A true glimpse of Italy just miles from home! The pizza is excellent, with a dough made with care and love for tradition, fresh, top-quality ingredients, and an explosion of flavor in every slice! The staff is friendly and helpful, the place is welcoming and well-organized, easily accessible on foot or by car, with parking just a few meters away. For those in the area, I highly recommend a stop at Mamma Mia Pizzeria. Besides the excellent pizza, Fabio will be there to welcome you, an exceptional owner who will make you feel at home! We'll definitely be back 😍

A small, truly family-run restaurant with the best pizza around! We were there with a small child and they even gave us a special children's portion of lasagna and fresh pizza bread. We had pizza and it was amazing. Just like we remember from our holidays in Italy! Highly recommended and we'll definitely be back!

The pizza delivery is great. Unfortunately, it always comes out of the oven a bit too early. Today it wasn't even fully cooked. I had to reheat it at home. Very disappointing.

Since Pamela and Luca stopped running the restaurant, we've gotten pizza from there a few times. Unfortunately, the toppings were very sloppily arranged, the tomato sauce lacked that certain something, and the dough was different too. I don't mean to be unfair, and it's still a good pizza, but it's no longer the 5-star pizza Luca used to make. Now that the two of them have opened their new restaurant and the pizzas there are exactly how we love them, we won't be getting pizza from Mammamia again. We were in Fürth for an event and were looking for a suitable place for a cozy dinner beforehand. I came across Mamma Mia through Google and its good reviews. They don't have a website, so I contacted the owner via Instagram and asked about a reservation. That worked out perfectly. Mamma Mia is located near the train station. Parking is available, for example, in the parking garage at the Comödie Fürth theater. When we arrived, the owner immediately knew what we were looking for and was a super friendly and attentive host! At first glance, the restaurant doesn't give the typical impression of an Italian restaurant, but that's because they also do a lot of takeout. So it's basically a mix of delivery, takeout, and dine-in seating. The decor is modern and "cool." It's basically self-service. You can help yourself to drinks from the refrigerator, but orders are still taken by a waitress. She was also incredibly welcoming! The food is prepared right in front of you. I personally think that's really great! As a starter, we were served two paninis with a kind of tuna dip as a complimentary amuse-bouche. After only a very short wait, our appetizer, a salad, arrived. Delicious! Fresh, crisp, and with a perfectly balanced dressing. What more could you want? Next came pizza and lasagna. My mother-in-law was very impressed, and I had absolutely no complaints about my pizza either. It was fresh, delicious, baked to perfection, and enormous! 🤩 The value for money can only be described as "superb." There are places where you pay €2 more for a pizza, get less freshness, need two liters of water afterward because the dough is oversalted, and are made on trays. Here, the pizza is still shaped by hand. I just love it. Furthermore, the owner is very attentive, jokes around, is great with children, and you can tell he runs his business with passion! One more thing I'd like to mention: I read somewhere that there's no restroom. That's incorrect. There is one. It's not directly in the dining area. Just go to the bar, ask the friendly waitress, and she'll show you to the customer restroom. 😊 We'll definitely remember this place for when we're next in Fürth and the surrounding area!

Luca's vegetarian pizza used to be great! Crispy, with grilled zucchini and eggplant. Unfortunately, it's not as tasty now. It's undercooked, there's not enough cheese, and the zucchini/eggplant is prepared differently. What a shame.

Due to the weather, we spontaneously looked for something and found more than we expected. The staff was super nice, friendly, and quick. The pizzas were great, and the salad was served with mini paninis, which were delicious. I highly recommend it!

Very good food at a very good price! Quick pickup in 25 minutes, and the pizzas were fresh and delicious. They even threw in a bowl of tiramisu on the house. The calzone is especially recommended. I'd definitely go back!

Update June 22, 2025: Unfortunately, the owners have changed, and the pizza is now just average, so I can't recommend it anymore. If anyone knows if the old owners have a new location, please let us know! Mama Mia has by far the best pizza for miles around. What's more, the staff there is always super friendly and welcoming, so we love getting our pizza there every time. The first time we got pizza there, it was more by chance because we were nearby and hungry. It turned out to be an absolute stroke of luck because the pizza is sooooooooo delicious. We've been fans ever since!

Pizzeria Mamma Mia – a real hit! Fabio, the pizza maker, is a genius. The dough? Perfect. The surface? To fall in love. The pizza comes out of the oven like an Italian poem with a crispy refrain. You sit down, take the first bite - and suddenly you hear mandolin music in your head. I just wanted to eat, now I'm planning my next visit like others plan their summer vacation. In short: highly, highly recommended. Fabio doesn't make pizza - he makes people happy.

Unfortunately the owner has changed and it's no longer as tasty as it used to be - it's a real shame. The pizza is ok at best, but no longer recommended. It's not thin, it's not Neapolitan and the buffalo mozzarella wasn't good either.

It's a small, cute restaurant with only a few seats - it's worth making a reservation! The pizza dough was to die for and the dessert we had was also very good. Above all, the two owners are really nice and very welcoming; you'll want to come back.

We found the restaurant through Google and visited it before our visit to the theater in the comedy. Since it's only three minutes away, it's a great option! We were greeted extremely warmly and the hospitality of the employees was really great! Super nice and accommodating. The pizzas were also incredibly tasty. Our highlight was probably the three types of tiramisu (classic, bueno and pistachio). We tried all three and couldn't decide which was the best! We would definitely come back and can only recommend the restaurant :) Just as an information, which didn't bother us, there is no toilet and no alcohol.

Absolutely recommended! It was our first time there and it definitely wasn't the last time. We were greeted with a board of fresh pizza bread. The pizzas were very tasty, the best “Roman” pizza we have eaten in a long time! At the end we shared the three different tiramisu variants and got a fourth dessert. We enjoyed everything very much and were given a very warm welcome. It should be noted that there is no alcohol and there are no toilets, but we were told this when we made the reservation and so it didn't bother us at all. We will definitely come back.

So a shop couldn't be better!!!! Pizza is always super fresh and homemade. The employees offer free shots and even if you don't have any money they give you the pizza and you can pay a day later. More than deserving of a great store!

Ciao, this pizzaria is Al Dente. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted lovingly with a smile. There are about 4 tables in the restaurant. The decor is very cozy, you feel like you are at home. You can see how the pizzas are being prepared from the table. The selection is great and the price is very reasonable for the excellent quality. There are no alcoholic drinks here. We didn't have to wait long for our food and it was served at the same time. There are chili and garlic oil on the table. Everyone enjoyed the pizza, it was a culinary delight👌. After dinner we were served limoncello, espresso and pizza bread with chocolate sauce on the house. Only cash payment was accepted. A perfect experience, really highly recommended.

One of the best pizzas you can get in Middle Franconia. The owners are very friendly and the prices are good. The shop is very small, so it is better to reserve if you want to eat on site. Absolute recommendation if you want to eat a very good pizza in a nice Italian atmosphere in Fürth!

Very friendly owners, very tasty pizzas and a sweet ending, even free. No alcohol served, simple atmosphere. Centrally located in Fürth, 5 minutes walk to the train station. Few seats, Lieferanto is on site a lot. Basically, I can only recommend the pizzeria!

Super friendly and really tasty gluten free pizza with fresh vegetables. It's also really nicely furnished and cozy on site. I'm super happy that there is such a great opportunity for people with celiac disease or gluten intolerance to eat delicious pizza in Fürth. There are also vegan options, so my girlfriend can eat something too. We will definitely come back! Edit: Unfortunately I have to withdraw the recommendation for people with celiac disease because I recently developed my typical symptoms after eating pizza. It's a shame, but this means that the option will no longer be available for me in the future.

A group of 6 of us came there spontaneously and without expectations after a visit to the theater and were immediately given a very warm welcome. The food was absolutely delicious, a personal recommendation is the Pizza Carbonara! But it was the little things that excited us so much. At the counter there was pizza bread with garlic and chilli oil to taste and we got a little gift from the pizza chef for starters and desserts. The prices are really reasonable for the quality. However, you have to go to the toilet first as there are none there. :)
