We ate there last night and were thoroughly disappointed. The food (pizza and lassgne) were absolutely inferior, from the dough to the canned mushrooms, and the spread (slice of ham) in the lasagna did the rest for us... that has nothing to do with a good Italian... It's a shame, you know!

If I could give 10 stars I would give 11. Excellent in every way! In the top three of the best fillets I was able to eat in my life and the owners are simply the Italians you know in every respect, warm and familiar! Always my pleasure!

But two points didn't work at all: 1. Sitting directly in the area of ​​the counter, we were delighted by a telephone that was constantly ringing at a loud volume, which sometimes even made it almost impossible to have a conversation. 2. The spaghetti carbonara we ordered turned out to be pasta in a very liquid ham and cream sauce. Sorry, but carbonara has nothing to do with cream, cooked ham and a liquid consistency. We always enjoy eating here. The rustic ambience may not be to everyone's taste, but it suits this Italian restaurant. Even if you don't know them personally, they always try to find a place for their guests, even though it's already quite full. The food has always been great, I think the prices are fair and sometimes the boss himself just comes to the table and asks if everything is OK. A recommendation for me if you are walking through our beautiful town of Leer on an empty stomach.

A chance find, highly recommended We spontaneously drove through Leer to find a restaurant. The price-performance ratio is great, the bruschetta is top class and the pizzas are generously topped at fair prices. The dough was very tasty, this Italian stands out from so many others we have tested in the last few months. The waitresses were very quick and friendly and attentive at all times.

A few years ago, the Pizzeria Mamma Mia in Leer was my absolute favorite Italian restaurant. Now I wanted to refresh old memories again and came back. There was probably no more room in the "old part" and we were moved to the "new extension", which was previously unknown to me. Sports hall atmosphere, stupid pictures and a TV on the wall - that has nothing to do with Italy. The pizza: Dry as a fart, the crust was reminiscent of plum cake dough, not enough cheese... It must have become too expensive. Service... Not rude, but neutral and lacking in empathy. Conclusion: cancel the experience, keep the memories - and don't go there again.

A nice little restaurant in the old town of Leer. The staff seems a bit unmotivated but nice and the food is ok. The price wasn't cheap but not too expensive either. I was there without a reservation.

Heerlijk eten en goede bediening. Het zat goed vol, maar we werden alsnog snel en vriendelijk geholpen. Ze serveren naast goed eten, ook heerlijke (diverse) wijnen en bieren. Je kunt zowel met pin als contant betalen.
