Very great food, nice service and nice ambience!

I was told card payment from €25 Service is cold and unfriendly. When I first decided against the restaurant because I didn't have much cash with me and then came back later and asked for a seat, the waitress couldn't hide the irritation in her eyes. I have rarely felt so unwelcome. Table is uncleaned. The drinking water was served to me in a dirty jam jar. €2.80 for water of this quality?!?! The food: a bit small portion for 8.80. The sauce was good, the chicken was tender, the vegetable pieces were a bit large. I won't come back.

The food is delicate. However, the menus are so rancid that they are disgusting to touch. The staff ranges from very friendly to dismissive.

Absolutely outrageous behaviour. Zero stars are too many. They confirmed my order, sent two more confirmations, each of which extended the delivery time even longer. Then after nearly an hour, they cancelled my order completely, giving no reason, at a time of day when it is difficult to find other food. I can't imagine how anyone can go to so much trouble to be as purposely rude as these people. When I called the restaurant, they claimed it was impossible for them to cancel earlier. When I asked why it was still possible for them to send so many misleading confirmations, they had no answer. Outrageous. Addition after the response from the owner: Why did you confirm on the phone that YOU cancelled the order and the entire disaster was your fault? The review is more than justified. As a restaurant, you can definitely stop playing foolish games with your customers

great Vietnamese tapas, something for everyone.

I absolutely love this restaurant - this is by far the best restaurant in Schöneberg. Recommendation: all curries, steamed oat rolls, chicken soup with glass noodles/rice noodles

We were there for dinner and sat outside. Unfortunately, the first impression didn't really grab me, the restaurant next door had very nice tables decorated with flowers, there were no decorations on the tables or cushions and it just seemed very cool. The selection on the menu is large and varied. Service was okay and quick. Unfortunately, the food was just “okay”. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't something I could say I wanted to do again. I had summer rolls and the veggie curry. Portion size was also okay, it could have been a little more rice. In the end, card payments only start at €15. It was nice, but we won't go there again.

Food (papaya salad and soup with duck) was freshly prepared and delicious. Mama's Matcha drink is also welcome differently. The service could be a little more attentive and the dishes are offered in different levels of intensity. So it's only one fits all. Tables and seating simple

Something different - very delicate Vietnamese cuisine with fresh ingredients, pleasant spices and, if desired, spicy - lots of choice on the menu. The tapas, which can also be put together to form a complete menu, are particularly recommended. The service is very friendly, attentive and advises the newbies. We will be back definitely!

As with any Vietnamese restaurant, the food is good, but the service is not. My order was forgotten twice so I had to eat after everyone else had finished. There was no excuse for this, which left me very disappointed.

Delicious fresh food, fast friendly service, my husband found the portion too small (but tasty). We all had a starter, main course and 2 drinks each with a final bill of 110 euros for 4 people. This is cheap for the area. Attention, parking zone until 10 p.m.: around 10 euros for around 3 hours. On weekends, we recommend reserving your space during peak times! We will be back!

On our first visit we just had vegatarian tapas and were very happy with the variety of tastes and textures of the food we were served. This is a place we would go back to. Great location and service.

Very tasty food but the service is unfriendly. When I asked for the bill, I had the feeling that I had insulted the waitress... no thanks for the tip, you can generally feel the waiters' boredom. A pity

You come in and think, nice little authentic shop. A large L-shaped room with wooden furniture, a whole wall with a wooden bench. When we arrived (5:30 p.m.) it was almost empty, as it filled up it became very loud and after an hour really uncomfortable. The starters (Ha Cao) were super tasty, the Pho soup was so salty that I couldn't eat it. It was then changed in the kitchen, still inedible.

Nice Vietnamese place, well attended, with a mainly Vietnamese menu and no disguised Chinese or Thai. Nice cozy atmosphere, not much space between the tables, but it fits. Unfortunately there was a starter with a main course and the second main course much later. The food was plentiful and tasty. However, the juicy duck breast was in the pan a little too long. Overall, definitely recommended.

Sehr leckere und auch etwas außergewöhnliche Gerichte. Toller Service und köstliche hausgemachte Limonaden. Es ist auch unter der Woche sehr gut besucht, daher Reservierung empfehlenswert.

Phở mit Rindfleisch: leider geschmacklich etwas eindimensional. Die anderen Gerichte habe ich noch nicht probiert, meine Bewertung bezieht sich nur auf Phở. Freundliche Bedienung! Ich werde gerne wiederkommen, um anderes auf der Karte zu testen!

Habe Udonnudeln mit Tofu bestehlt habe Udon mit hünchen bekommen. Das ist nicht akzeptabel.

Die Tapas Auswahl wirkt groß, ist aber eigentlich alles das Gleiche und geschmacklich leider sehr eintönig… und für 5 tapas und drei Getränke sind fast 50€ deutlich zu viel. Service war nett

Durch die Verbreiterung des Gehweges hat man hier die Möglichkeit draußen zu sitzen. Das war ganz angenehm bei den sommerlichen Temperaturen. Wir haben verschiedene Speisen bestellt um zu probieren und waren angenehm überrascht wie frisch und wohlschmeckend alles war. Alle wurden satt, ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder!

I got this recommended and I like the ideas of the starters. I can easily share the dishes with my peers they were all delicious. My favorite starter is Ua (my linhs favorite dish) and banh bot loc (dai quys favorite dish). For the main course I ordered peanut curry with rice ans chicken and it was tasty.

We have ordered quite a lot since there are so many tapas options in the menu. The food is amazing and filling my hunger for home food. The waitresses are also friendly and very warm welcome. And I think the price is affordable for a warm and cozy seat, we were really full after and also very satisfied because we can taste different dishes at a time. I will definitely come back one day once I visit Berlin again 😊

Die Speisen waren alle nicht genau so wie auf der Karte, zB war plötzlich Koriander auf etwas, ohne dass es dabei stand. Ansonsten schönes Restaurant und leckere Speisen, daher nur der kleine Abzug :)

Fantastische (vegetarische) tapas en -soep gegeten na een lange reis. We liepen spontaan binnen en kregen een heel mooi plekje. Het eten was echt heerlijk, we gaan dit iedereen aanraden! Alleen de muziek...happy birthday in 30 verschillende karaokeversies is niet aan ons besteed haha. Maar misschien is het heerlijke werkmuziek voor het vriendelijke personeel.

Viele kleine, feine vietnamesische Spezialitäten (Tapas). - Von zwei Tapas war ich angenehm satt. Prima, schneller und sehr freundlicher Service. Preis/Leistung stimmt. Grosses Lob!

Das Lokal ist zwar nicht gemütlich eingerichtet. Dennoch wer will, kann sich hier wie in einem Cafe ausgiebig Gespräche führen. Das Essen ist toll, vor allem die Sesambällchen in Kokosmilch müssen Sie probieren. Als Hauptgericht gibt es asiatische Tapas, Bowls oder Suppen von guter Qualität. Auch die frischen und hausgemachten Tees kann ich empfehlen.

Ein sehr schönes Lokal nahe der Akazienstr mit einer sehr guten vietnamesischen Küche. Ich würde sagen preislich gerade bei den Tapas etwas teurer aber bei den Pho's absolut in Ordnung. Wir waren von dem Geschmack und dem Service sehr begeistert.

At a friend's recommendation, we went to check out this restaurant. Prior to Mamas Banh, we have been to a number of other Vietnamese restaurants during this trip to Berlin, so we did not set our expectation high in the food authenticity sense. But we were overwhelmed with the whole experience The food was authentic, we like to taste the flavor of the food that we grew up with, and Mamas Banh definitely delivered that. The Vietnamese pancake was a treat to the senses. The tapas selection of different wontons, dumplings and Vietnamese rolls were pleasant and remind us of food we eat in Vietnam. The wonton noodles is the only fusion dish we can say, an interesting fusion that is open to different palettes. Food was delivered hot and that is to me always a plus. I love the exterior and the interior of the restaurant, very warm and cozy, really reflected well in the concept, Mama's homemade food. The service was fast even though when we arrived it was pretty busy, almost a full house. All in all, a pleasant experience for our family. We will definitely come back to support Mamas Banh if we visit Berlin again. P.S. Our kids love the mango lassi!

Unkompliziert sehr 😋 😋 vegane Gerichte gegessen. Empfehlung der Bedienung gefolgt und wirklich eine Gaumenfreude erlebt. Selbst unsere fast 90 jährige Begleitung war begeistert.

Nette Location mit großzügig und leckeren Portionen. Leider sitzt man teilweise ein bisschen gedrängt und die Bedienung an unserem Abend war etwas neben der Spur. Dennoch würde ich wieder kommen.

Man muss reservieren, Service freundlich, aber zu wenig Personal und deshalb Wartezeiten einplanen. Das Essen war geschmacklich und optisch gut.

Restaurant in Schöneberg nimmt Reservierungen an, bestätigt sie und dann steht man am 25.12. mit einer Gruppe von vier vor verschlossenen Türen.

Das Restaurant ist klein und einladend, zum Abend hin kann es schon etwas beengter zugehen. Das Essen ist sehr lecker und wird wird durch ebenso leckere Desserts und Kaffeespezialitäten abgerundet. Vegane und vegetarische Gerichte sind in einer guten Auswahl auf der Karte Vertreten, bei Unverträglichkeiten hilft die Karte sehr gut weiter. ⚠️ Beim Bestellen ist es leider etwas umständlich, dass die Gerichte keine Bestellnummern haben und die Verständigung daher etwas holpert. Der Service ist freundlich und herzlich, bei vollem laden aber etwas langsamer. 🍜 Vietnamesisches Essen zum Weiterempfehlen 👍

War leider sehr voll, als wir da waren. Deshalb mussten wir länger warten. Service aber aufmerksam. Essen war lecker, hatten eine Vielzahl von Gerichten samt Vorspeisen, hat allen gut geschmeckt. Ich selbst hatte eine Pho mit Rind, war sehr gut.

Fantastisches Restaurant, einer meiner Favoriten in ganz Berlin! Essen ist extrem lecker, egal was man bestellt. Wurden noch nie enttäuscht. Vor allem Banh Xeo ist ein Muss,wenn man hier isst. Schön knusprig, goldbraun mit frischem Kräuter. Geschmack ist unvergesslich.Das gleiche gilt ebenfalls für die homemade Getränke. Die Preise sind meiner Ansicht nach angemessen und gerechtfertigt. Die Bedienungen sind sehr freundlich. Man wird hier immer mit einem Lächeln im Gesicht begrüßt .Egal ob bestellen, Servieren oder abräumen, es ist gefühlt immer jemand in der Nähe. Der große außen Bereich ist super und auch im inneren macht das Restaurant etwas her. Absolut zum empfehlen!

Sehr, sehr toll! wir hatten zu zweit kleine Vorspeisen und jeweils ein Hauptgericht. Alles hat phantastisch geschmeckt, nein, es war eine Geschmacksexplosion! Der Preis des Weines ist dem Geschmack und der Qualität absolut angemessen. Die Bedienung ist super nett, aufmerksam und kompetent. Man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Wir kommen sobald als möglich wieder.

Die Empfehlung der vietnamesischen Tapas war Super. Hauptgerichte,wie Mi Kho Duck, waren super zubereitet und sehr schmackhaft. Die probierten hausgemachten Limonaden waren eine gute Begleitung für den Abend. Netter Service & top Küche !

Very fresh food, absolutely delicious. I’m not a great fan of Sriracha, I’d rather have chili oil, but everything else was perfect. And a fantastic choice of homemade lemonade.

Auf Empfehlung von Freunden waren wir heute hier essen. Das Ambiente ist so schön gestaltet. Sauber und gemütlich. Das Essen hat uns sehr gut geschmeckt! Wir hatten zwei Vorspeisen und zwei Hauptmenüs und alles hat richtig lecker geschmeckt. Der Service war sehr gut. Wir werden ganz bestimmt wieder kommen.

מסעדה וייטנאמית מבחר מנות מרשים. המנות שהזמנו היו טעימות מאוד. המארחת הייתה מאוד אדיבה ונעימה. המחירים היו סבירים ביותר. ( לא הזמנו יין ) מי שעובר במקום ורעב מדגדג לו שווה ביותר.

Schlechtestes Essen seit Langem. Habe 4 Gerichte bestellt, das Essen kam mit großer Verspätung, war komplett kalt, schmeckte nach absolut gar nichts, winzige Portionen zu hohen Preisen, Sauce fehlte. Habe noch nie ein so schlechtes Bun Cha in Berlin gegessen. Trockene Nudeln für 10,90! Mangosalat ohne den Hauch einer Chili. Absolut nicht authentisch und nicht empfehlenswert.

Die vielen negativen Bewertungen sind mir nicht nachvollziehbar. Sehr leckeres Essen in schönem Ambiente mit freundlichem Service.

Servic gut und schnell und sehr aufmerksam. Vietnamesischer Kaffee, gibt andere Restaurante die es besser hinbekommen. Suppe lecker, allerdings in einer angeschlagen Schüssel ... Darf in der heutigen Zeit nicht passieren. Ente war ok, auch da gibt es Bessere. Alkoholfreie Getränke werden in der Karte zu 0,33 angegeben und serviert wird ein deutlich kleineres Glas welches definitiv weniger als 0,33 enthält. Darf so nicht passieren. Und zu letzt, Nachtisch. Panna Cotta Mango. Flüssig, lieblos im Miniglas, Minzblatt obendrauf fertig ... Mehr muss nicht gesagt werden. Erfahrung gesammelt. Überzeugt allerdings eher nicht ganz.

Der Kellner war richtig cool. Das Essen etwas teuer, aber ganz ok.

This is my go-to restaurant when I'm craving good Vietnamese food. They have an amazing selection of both vegetarian/vegan and non-veg options. Some of the tapas are really interesting and the choices are endless. You can pay by card which is not a guarantee in Berlin. Waiters are great too, always incredibly friendly.

Das Essen war lecker, sowie der Rot-und Weißwein. Die Bedienungen waren sehr aufmerksam und trotz des brüchiges Deutsches, wurden wir bei der Auswahl der Speisen gut beraten. Das Interieur ist modern und gemütlich - reservieren würde ich zur Sicherheit!
