UPDATE: Up until now I've been satisfied, but today I was cheated: instead of €30, he said €39. I also gave him a tip and only calculated it later—€9 too much!! November 7, 2025 I like the food selection, I've been there countless times, there have been staff changes before, but the current server is very nice. I feel very comfortable here right now; the music is relaxing and pleasant, the server recognizes me, and I enjoy sitting here to relax and eat. I visited Mama Trattoria in Cologne today. The restaurant's ambiance is very bright and well-maintained. The service was very attentive and friendly. The food was excellent, and there was a good selection of vegan options. The price-performance ratio is good, considering current prices. I'd gladly come again.

All pizzas and other dishes are available gluten-free. Friendly, attentive, and competent service. Highly recommended, and very centrally located. We'll be back!

We visited the Cologne branch with a large group in the early afternoon. We had previously inquired about the available options and offers. Nico was very courteous and helpful. He pointed out the most economical option for our group. Our preferred seats (a quiet corner for the hearing impaired) were reserved, and we received a warm welcome upon arrival. The service was quick and attentive. Even special requests (lactose-free/vegetarian) were easily accommodated. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed the food. After our meal, we were given a very pleasant send-off. We would gladly return to Nico's Mama Trattoria in Cologne and highly recommend the restaurant!

Expensive is normal in the city, but for €18, two extra leaves of romaine lettuce wouldn't hurt and would make a big difference, especially when a 0.2L Coke costs almost €5. Service was practically nonexistent; I waited 20 minutes with an empty glass. The food was standard fare... anyone could make it just as well.

Whether you prefer vegetarian, vegan, gluten-free, or classic pizza – everything is organic and delicious. The pizza is served on a large wooden board with a pizza cutter – very cool. The restaurant has a modern and relaxed atmosphere, and you feel very comfortable there. The staff was very friendly and attentive, and the restrooms were also very clean and hygienic.

The food and style are very reminiscent of Vapiano. Neither the pizza nor the pasta remind me of typical Italian tastes. The price isn't justified for what you get. A plus point is the gluten-free pasta and pizza selection.

The location in Cologne's old town with outdoor seating is great, and they even offered gluten-free pasta and pizza. Unfortunately, the service was not good despite the restaurant being empty. Everything took an extremely long time, and the waitresses seemed overwhelmed and confused (but they were nice). Hence, only 3 stars.

The chanterelles weren't washed properly; every bite crunched between my teeth. When I complained (a salad that costs €15, it should be tasty), the waiter's response was, "Yeah, that's possible, I don't eat every meal here... we get the chanterelles washed (a little hint: we're restaurateurs ourselves; even the washed chanterelles we deliver say they should be washed again)! Sorry, but they apologize to the guest and remove the uneaten food from the bill. They even offer compensation. But all I can say is, "Service desert D." The food was only removed from the bill after I pointed it out to the waiter when paying. Unfortunately, these are reasons for me not to visit this restaurant again.

Yes, hello. I wanted to report something from yesterday. I was in Cologne yesterday, at the pizzeria Mama Trattoria. It was almost deserted – only one table was occupied. First, my colleague and I sat down at a table. Then a woman wanted to sit somewhere else. Shortly after, a waiter came who seemed to me to be from the South. But to be honest, he was quite a liar. He simply accused us wrongly. And not just us – other guests were also wrongly accused. He was also very rude and seemed lazy. We ordered pizza and pasta. The pasta was for Silli. I think it was from a pre-packaged dish or something, I'm not sure. Anyway, it was in a lukewarm tomato sauce that tasted like water. Then I asked a waitress for some chicken to go with it. When the pasta arrived, it didn't taste good at all. I ate it with difficulty because I didn't feel like complaining – many people had previously told me that they handle complaints very strangely. The pizza dough was okay, but the base was burnt. We were charged €5.50 for four small pieces of chicken. The food arrived very late, even though there were hardly any customers. I think this is an extremely bad place. I can't recommend anyone go there. The food doesn't taste good, the service is poor, and the prices are too high. I've also heard that they mix pasta water while cooking – even for gluten-free dishes – which is very problematic for people with allergies. The female server was fine at first, until she suddenly made a false statement. While this has nothing directly to do with the food, it shows how strange things are there. In conclusion: The pasta was hard, the pizza was burnt, the service was unfriendly, and it was an overall expensive and bad experience. I will never go there again and can't recommend it to anyone.

Hello, I just ate there about 30 minutes ago. When we arrived and sat down, an employee told us to order up front?? And accused my mother of insulting a member of staff, even though we'd only been sitting down for a few minutes. Anyway, when it came to the food, the noodles were very soft, and the employee made us extra chicken without telling us there was a €5.50 surcharge for six small pieces of chicken, and it only appears twice, hidden away in a corner of the menu where no one looks. It was truly the worst meal ever... I can't recommend it.

We come to Cologne once a year to visit relatives. This restaurant has now become a regular stopover. The value for money is simply top-notch. The seasonal dishes are simply excellent. The homemade lemonade is highly recommended. Service is very fast and friendly. The ambiance is appropriate, but of course, it's not a small, romantic restaurant, but rather one geared more towards walk-in customers. We'll see you next year when we visit Cologne. Best from BW

omg hello 🙋 I wanted to tell you all this pizzeria has such bad food and very bad quality food I have just ordered fsuliea it had no taste very cold 15 pieces of pasta 4 pieces of chicken cold so badly cooked also male condition very unfriendly very bad service the cellar possibly from India 🇮🇳 or it doesn't matter where it comes from just blames the customer 😂 although there is nothing to do you have to wait so the pizza is also very bad for 4 pieces of chicken 5.50 although these peppers in arabiate sauce are cut so thickly whether reserved at the door such bad rating even with organic wasn't true please don't go there!

My meal tasted very good, but my veal was very tough. I had also mentioned this to the employee, who told me that this branch doesn't generally serve the best cut of veal...! That's not something you say in front of a customer. However, I was offered an alternative. The service was super friendly.

Truly delicious food and very friendly, attentive service. The restaurant is also well-equipped for the little ones – there's a separate children's menu. Our child wanted to color, and the friendly waitress immediately brought us crayons. We were with a larger group, including a child and a dog – and everyone received a warm welcome. A very pet-friendly and welcoming place. The prices are also absolutely fair and family-friendly. We'll definitely be back!

We happened upon this restaurant as a family a few days ago and were absolutely thrilled! What we liked best was the extremely friendly service, the speed, and the ambiance! The food was also very tasty—although some of the portions could have been a bit larger, and we didn't think the pizza was as good as the other dishes. We also ordered a vegetarian salad, spinach ravioli, spaghetti Bolognese, and garlic bread. The latter was truly delicious! We'd love to come back and highly recommend this restaurant! Top!

In itself everything was fine, the price wasn't too expensive, so 15€ for a pasta dish is fine, but the amount of the portion, I had 7 ravioli with a little rocula and walnut pesto, I ate the portion within 5 minutes and wasn't even close to full

A piece of advice to you: the customer comes first, and his desires and comfort are the most important thing for your success. Because of his style, we ordered pizza for the children, and we, the adults, went to another place for lunch.

A very hot dinner- (the room was boiling) Even though we sat next to a window. However the food came very quickly-fresh and meeting my diet needs. Tasty dinner, English menu provided. The rhubarb spritz was a lovely surprise as it was soo fresh and thirst quenching.

For clarity, the restaurant was empty at noon with only two occupied tables and we were planning on buying more. The carbonara simply didn't taste good. The onions and bacon were raw and simply thrown in after the fact. The atmosphere was fine, but Cologne is always great. The restaurant's location is great. There's also open Wi-Fi in the pedestrian zone near NetCologne. So, Wi-Fi isn't even a benefit here. The dishes always cost around €14-20. Value for money is either adequate or inadequate. If I were stranded there again, I would avoid any risk and order a Margherita pizza.

I'm familiar with the concept from Hamburg and always enjoy going there. I was even more pleased when I saw the shop on our short trip to Cologne. I tried it straight away, and the Fiorella pizza tastes just as delicious as it does in Hamburg!

The pizzas are simply great. The dough was nice and thin and perfectly balanced and the service was really accommodating. The first order was missing, but we managed to get it there within a very short time and everyone could start eating together.

We chose this restaurant for its gluten-free menu. One of the rare restaurants where you can spend time with family without worrying about celiac disease. Thin pizza but very good. The waitress really nice.
