We were served by a very kind and very smiling waitress. Overall we took salads a first is the soup. All very good, shame about the salads which were a little lacking in seasonings. Overall pleasant experience!

Looking for somewhere to eat in Cologne with something gluten-free and came across Mama's. Everything was great from the warm friendly welcome, the relaxed atmosphere and the delicious food. Most pizza and pasta dishes can be made gluten-free and the quality of the food is superb. Would recommend and definitely go again.

Pizza mediocre. Little seasoning, base ok, topping poor. Service underground. Had to wait 20 minutes before we could order. Service was very unfriendly and seemed stressed. Ambiance station hall character.

This Italian is a real recommendation. In addition to very tasty Italian dishes, there is also a really great selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes. You can also find your own creations on the menu. Service was really friendly and attentive. The ambience is very nice. There are large, long tables, but there are also opportunities to sit more secluded. There is indoor and outdoor seating, wonderful.

Being Italian, they cut the spaghetti and other pasta was INCREDIBLY sweet. Service doesn't come when asked and is happy to stand at the counter and chat. We must have had empty plates and glasses in front of us for 30 minutes and despite speaking and reporting, no one came. We then paid at the counter and then left.

Ate Aglio e Olio. Unfortunately, the noodles were not al dente, they had not been cooked in sufficiently salty water and unfortunately the characteristic emulsion was missing or was not present in sufficient quantity, which was already evident in the dish - a shame for the beautiful ambience, I wouldn't do it again come.

Everything was totally ok, but the food was quite unspectacular: not very seasoned. But you can do that again. Unfortunately, the lamb's lettuce in the bowl wasn't washed properly and I spent most of the time chewing on sand. Too bad. But the spaghetti with shrimp was great!

The food was ok, you could eat it but it won't be my favorite pizzeria now. The pizza dough was too thin, too little cheese and lacked seasoning. The crème brûle wasn't that great either. The food took a long time but the staff was friendly. They could have sharpened the knives, but they were far too blunt to be able to cut the pizza properly

Eine sehr modern eingerichtete Trattoria-Kette. Wir haben uns für den Zweck (schnelles Abendessen nach einer langen Fahrt nach Köln) wohl gefühlt und waren sehr zufrieden. Die Speisekarte war typisch italienisch, mit kleinen tollen Besonderheiten, wir fanden sie zudem bemerkenswert rücksichtsvoll (vegetarisch, vegan, glutenfrei...). Besonders toll fanden wir die perfekt abgestimmte Portion der Kinderteller und die Auswahl mit nicht ausschließlich der typischen Spaghetti mit Tomatensauce. Mit dem Preis-Leistungsverhältnis waren wir zufrieden.

We went out to eat with a Bob Bon gift card we got for our birthday. The place refused to serve us without giving an explanation and wouldn't explain the reason. They ignored us and said we still had to pay. This restaurant is on the list of affiliated establishments and in the corresponding city. We felt completely despised and disrespected. We don't recommend this place to anyone.

Wir als Familie (5 Köpfig) waren zum Abendessen hier. Wir waren vom überaus Gastfreundlichen Personal sehr positiv überrascht. Das Essen hat uns allen sehr gut geschmeckt und wir waren alle pappsatt. Die Mitarbeiter waren alle sehr Kinderfreundlich und gut gelaunt trotz hohem Stresslevel. Es ist sehr preiswert. Wir werden beim nächsten Mal zu 100% wieder kommen. Danke für den tollen Abend :)

We loved the pizza there and the service was also great. The pizza had a really thin crust and was dressed with enough toppings. I only was not a fan of the tiramisu, which was not made the traditinal italian way. It tasted more like whipped cream.

I was there for a quick lunch and ordered some appetizers and pasta for main course. Food was good. Ambience was ordinary and the place or food did not make an impactful impression. Nothing unique but a good place to take a quick bite.

The food has a canteen feel and is, in my opinion, quite bland in taste. I won't come back because the concept and the food don't appeal to me. Therefore I don't want to recommend eating there.

A beautiful, stylish Italian restaurant in downtown Cologne. I ordered the daily special, fussili with a champion cream sauce and a bottle of water. The bottle of water was uncooled and dusty. Unfortunately, I found the food itself to be very tasteless. I had to add a lot of salt and pepper here.

A little disappointed: a lot of waiting to take the order and then to be served. The waitress was nice but was a bit “air-headed”. My salad was a little pricey for a lot of salad and 3 pieces of goat cheese surrounded by ham. Fortunately my son liked his spaghetti bolo otherwise the experience would have been really bad.

Had a gluten-free pizza that was insanely good and from what I can tell fairly safe for people with celiac disease. The location is nice, though in the middle of the city. There was one beggar that kept asking for the food on our plates.

Wonderful knowledge of coeliac needs. Great staff- very attentive. Sadik the chef came out to discuss what I would like and he went above and beyond to ensure a clean preparation area. I had pizza and it was cooked in its own special pan to ensure no cross- contamination. I highly recommend this restaurant as a safe place for coeliac travellers.

Unfortunately there was no more gluten-free pizza. That's why I could only eat gluten-free pasta. If I could I would give it 2 and a half stars. The food itself is okay, but not particularly good either. If you want to eat gluten-free, you should probably call ahead and ask if gluten-free pizza is available again.

UPDATE 04/23/2024 The restaurant is taking legal action against my review and claiming years after it was published that we never ate there 😅 It was sad though! I would prefer to give negative stars! Everyone, eat somewhere else than here, luckily there are plenty of alternatives! Just bad, expensive, miserable and inattentive service and tiny portions. We live in the immediate vicinity and have therefore tried several times, but it doesn't get any better. The portion of noodles as “zucchini noodles” in particular is a disgrace, especially given the extra charge. But it doesn't get any better. It's a shame that all the city shoppers seem to be falling for it. The shop is packed at lunchtime and always empty in the evening because locals hardly eat here! Luckily there are plenty of better Italians out there.

Everything is fresh and good raw materials, but definitely 1-2 euros too high, even for the location. Espresso for 3.10 euros is really beyond the means.

Very weak food, seemed frozen and heated. 10 people all with different dishes (from pizza to pasta) and no one liked what they ate! Slow service (there were only 3 tables with around 20 people in the restaurant) and very inefficient. Place marked so as not to repeat!

We were guests at Mama Trattoria last night. We ordered a pizza and two pasta dishes. Visually the dishes looked very nice so there is nothing to complain about. The tuna pizza was also very tasty, and the pasta dish with beef and red wine sauce was also very tasty. Unfortunately, the pasta dish with spaghetti coconut curry sauce and chicken was just way too oily and too seasoned. It's just not tasty. In my opinion, the portions are far too small and don't leave you feeling full. Overall, I would say you can eat there if you're even hungry. But not when you're hungry. We will not visit this restaurant again and cannot recommend it with a clear conscience. Service really ok
