We ordered 2 pizzas, 4 colas, and 1 orange juice for 44€. The pizza was good, but the employee who received us was very rude and disrespectful and spoke in a loud voice. A piece of advice to you: the customer comes first, and his desires and comfort are the most important thing for your success. Because of his style, we ordered pizza for the children, and we, the adults, went to another place for lunch.

I had a gluten-free pizza due to my celiac disease. The toppings were delicious, but the base could have been better. The staff was very friendly, and the atmosphere was nice, too. Highly recommended.

A restaurant discovered by chance during a short stay in Cologne. It was a bit difficult to communicate with the waitress who didn't speak any English, but we managed ☺️ Delicious meal, varied and unusual choices that accommodate everyone. The zucchini spaghetti was delicious! A special mention for the chocolate fondant, which was worth the wait! I'll be back with pleasure 🤤

A very hot dinner- (the room was boiling) Even though we sat next to a window. However the food came very quickly-fresh and meeting my diet needs. Tasty dinner, English menu provided. The rhubarb spritz was a lovely surprise as it was soo fresh and thirst quenching.

Poor service. Ordered food in advance and then sat down to order drinks and were told we had to leave and could not eat at an outdoor table because we ordered the food “takeaway”. For clarity, the restaurant was empty at noon with only two occupied tables and we were planning on buying more. Wanted to try for the gluten free options but we won’t be returning to this establishment.

We were looking for a restaurant with Gluten free options due to being celiac. Lots to choose from. The arrabiarta was very mild.

Dishes as expected, portions will satisfy a large hunger, 9 minutes from the cathedral on foot, not very crowded place, the only thing we missed was Italian music.

I've been a guest at this wonderful restaurant for years. The service is incredibly attentive, and I'm always impressed. The food selection is fantastic and the quality is excellent - all in all, I'll be coming here for many years to come - 10/10✨

Gluten-free pizza bases for an extra €3, tasted okay, but seemed like a pre-made base. Staff friendly except for one very negative character… Otherwise, positive. Wait times are somewhat neglected by this guy. All in all, a good Italian restaurant!

The carbonara simply didn't taste good. The onions and bacon were raw and simply thrown in after the fact. The atmosphere was fine, but Cologne is always great. The restaurant's location is great. There's also open Wi-Fi in the pedestrian zone near NetCologne. So, Wi-Fi isn't even a benefit here. The dishes always cost around €14-20. Value for money is either adequate or inadequate. If I were stranded there again, I would avoid any risk and order a Margherita pizza.

Everything was perfect! The staff, the atmosphere, and of course the food! Not to mention the Peroni on tap! Almost like being in Italy! Perfect for a chain!

The pizzas are simply great. The dough was nice and thin and perfectly balanced and the service was really accommodating. The first order was missing, but we managed to get it there within a very short time and everyone could start eating together.

We chose this restaurant for its gluten-free menu. One of the rare restaurants where you can spend time with family without worrying about celiac disease. Thin pizza but very good. The waitress really nice.

The food is very tasty. The store is nicely located and everything is clean. The prices are sometimes really too high, but everyone has to decide that. Unfortunately there are not enough people in service. This means that guests are overlooked and errors occur when taking the order. Some of the kitchens weren't yet clean even though guests had been away for a while.

Went spontaneously to Mama Trattoria last night. Very friendly staff, attentive and always approachable, despite the restaurant being full. Pizza and salad delicious - great value for money. Definitely highly recommended.

Ordered a pizza. She is amazing. Closed like a dumpling. Not tasty at all. Inside the dry, carefully glued semicircle and glued dough, filling. Everything is very lean, low-fat. It was really nice. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Everything came pretty quickly. The only thing I would like is for the music to be a little quieter, because at times you almost had to shout at each other to be understood. Especially if you are there with a larger group.

We have eaten there several times and I am always very satisfied with the service and the food. This time we had the Antipasti Misti per die and the Low Carb Spaghetti con Pollo. Everything tasted great again! The map never gets boring and there is always an exchange every now and then. The only criticism: the ventilation was very fresh and a bit unpleasant, so one star was deducted for the ambience.

The service was friendly, the food was okay, but nothing more. For the price I would have expected a little more quality and a little more seasoning.

Good pizza but cold staff and price a little expensive

We happened to pass by on our shopping trip and we immediately knew, wow, that looks good, we'll go in there. It says something about zucchini noodles, so said and done. We were greeted warmly at the door and, upon request, we were given a seat by the window. It was beautiful everywhere, but we also like to look outside. The service was attentive and friendly. The selection of food and drinks was absolutely sufficient and the price/performance was good. The food came quite quickly and was absolutely freshly prepared. Simply very, very tasty. The restaurant is barrier-free and therefore also suitable for people with disabilities. That would be very important if I had my son with me. However, the toilets are in the basement. It was clean, nicely decorated, all in all great. We'll be back.

The food here is really very good. I have already tried the pizzas and ravioli. The service here is also top and you get the food very quickly. So all in all a restaurant that you can definitely recommend.

The food was really good. Service was nice. A bit overwhelmed in places, things were forgotten but that can happen. But telling customers I hate children... And a family came in behind us. I mean, you can think about it quietly, but say something like that publicly. Yes, children are loud and there were a lot of children there BUT Dan doesn't offer a children's menu. Maybe fewer families come? This statement was really crass

Wir sind um 15:30 Uhr bei Mama Trattoria eingetroffen. Es war wenig los. Die Bedienung hat sich sehr freundlich um uns gekümmert und hat uns bei der Auswahl geholfen bzw. beraten. Die Qualität und Quantität des Essens war ausgewogen. Der Preis ist der Lage des Restaurants entsprechend angemessen. Wir kommen gerne wieder, wenn wir in Köln sind.

Wo soll ich bloß anfangen? Die Pizzen waren unbeschreiblich schlecht ich kann gar nicht in Worte fassen was ich zu dieser Unverschämtheit von Pizza sagen soll. 20€ kostet eine glutenfreie Pizza die fertig von Schär gekauft wird, die Tomatensauce ist so wässrig man kann die Pizza nicht richtig Essen und der Belag ist mangelhaft. Die Tomaten waren so groß dass es unapetietlich aus.(die Vorfreude und die Anreise haben sich für eine überteuerte fertig Pizza nicht gelohnt)

Schon beim Betreten wurden wir herzlich empfangen – die Mitarbeiter, besonders Armira, sind unglaublich freundlich und sorgen dafür, dass man sich sofort wohl fühlt. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant ist sehr gemütlich und einladend, ideal für einen entspannten Abend mit Freunden oder Familie. Die Speisekarte ist übersichtlich und bietet aber eine tolle Auswahl an italienischen Spezialitäten, die Appetit auf mehr machen. Besonders die Pizza hat es uns angetan! Sie war ohne Zweifel die beste Pizza, die wir je gegessen haben. Der Teig war außergewöhnlich gut und der Belag frisch und geschmackvoll. Auch mein Risotto (hatte ich am ersten Abend) war einfach mega gut. Man merkt wirklich, dass hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail gearbeitet wird. Wir können *Mama Trattoria* nur wärmstens empfehlen, besonders für all jene, die auf der Suche nach der besten Pizza in Köln sind. Hier bekommt man nicht nur erstklassiges Essen, sondern auch einen ausgezeichneten Service und eine rundum angenehme Atmosphäre. Definitiv ein Ort, den man immer wieder besuchen sollte!

We waited more than 20 minutes only to order. After we ordered 3 pizzas we waited more than 1 hour and 20 minutes. The toilets were very dirty..

Can't complain. But - like everywhere else - the most important thing is the company when eating. And I was here with my great boss and our great team. :-)

I like the selection of food, I've been there dozens of times, there have been staff changes, but the current service is very nice,...I feel very comfortable here right now, the music is relaxed and nice, the service recognizes me again, and I like to sit here to relax and eat.

There are minus 15 stars for the service!! After about 10 minutes of waiting in the entrance area, we were sent away again because there were apparently no tables left in the half-empty shop shortly before 8am. After thinking about it for a moment, we looked online and were able to reserve a table as normal via the website at any time imaginable within the next hour. So we reserved the next available table. After we came back about 15 minutes later, the waiter asked us - after standing around stupidly for another 5 minutes - whether we had made a serious reservation. In an incredibly cheeky way. Sorry. But you don't get a single cent from us. If I could I would give minus 10 stars for your performance!!!!!
