We sat outside at the end of October. I can't say anything about the ambience inside. The food was very, very tasty. I was lucky with spaghetti made from zucchini and my daughter with pasta with tomato cream sauce with shrimp. Although it is located directly at the Brandenburg Gate, it is not a tourist rip-off. Clear recommendation.

Great lunch after a day of sightseeing. We got the margherita pizza and a salad I forgot the exact name. As a vegetarian I liked that there was a planted chikn option. The pizza was thin and baked to perfection. The lemonade was delicious. Service was friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable. Will definitely return.

I absolutely do not recommend it!!!!!!!! The risotto beautifully and poetically described in the menu turned out to be unseasoned, blurred rice pulp with 2 pieces of thawed pumpkin. Lack of taste, unsightly serving, arrogant and nonchalant waiter who winked at all the ladies in the restaurant! Additionally, the appetizer included in the price of a regular dish turned out to be a piece of mozzarella with tomato (worth about EUR 1.50), a total failure.

A charming restaurant right at the Brandenburg Gate that impresses with good Italian cuisine. The vegetable soup, tomato soup as well as the pasta and pizza tasted very good. However, the staff seemed a bit overwhelmed and was quite slow, even though the restaurant was at most 20 percent full. Maybe it was due to understaffing that afternoon. There is a small point deduction for this. As of: February 26, 2023 “The difference between prices and food quality in a restaurant increases in direct proportion to the size of the pepper mill at the table.”

Rude behavior of the person who took our order

We walked in at 5:00 PM today for an early dinner after a long day of touring. The restaurant was 10% full. Two employees stood chatting with one another near the open kitchen – prep area and took about three minutes to seat us in the cold, somewhat bare and charmless room. The menus came but no water or any welcome. After 10 minutes of watching one of the servers wipe her nose on her sleeve, and the second server equally ignore us, we left. Skip it. They don't care.

Fantastic service,we were seated within a few minutes! Very friendly staff, the Tunisian waiter even managed to greet us in Irish !! Great food and very reasonably priced. Would highly recommend.

Don’t recommend. I ordered funghi pasta and I was given literally - a plate full of solo pasta with a few chicken pieces and mushrooms. It was a rude move by the restaurant towards us - the clients. What is more, the waiter proposed and then added himself a tip for his service what was another act of fooling the clients in a very cheap way.. Never again.

Went here a few times and the food is always great. We ordered Mozzarella Pizza and Tortelli Al Tartufo both very delicious. Food didn’t take too long to arrive. The staff are so nice and friendly. I also tried before the Fusilli Con Pollo and it was nice. Their other disges are good as well but I forgot the names, but definitely worth the try 👌

The food wasn't good but it wasn't bad either, it just took a long time, even though new people were constantly coming in and had to wait for their table. I gave a 50 cent tip for this poor service, but the waiter rejected it 👍🏻

The restaurant has a fantastic location and exudes a very pleasant atmosphere! I only had takeaway food, so I can't fully rate the service. However, the food was very tasty! The pizzas are very fresh and have a very good taste! Definitely worth a visit on your next trip to Berlin!

Food and wine delicious and good quality.we went on an evening of the Festival of Lights,so it was really busy!Our welcome was from Andre,who realised we didn’t have a reservation,but he managed to find us a table near to the door.At first,other queueing customers would be stood in the open doorway,blissing cold air in,no fault of the restaurant and another waiter asked politely to close the door. The drinks arrived quickly,we waited a little longer for food,as it was crazily busy.We had the minestrone and Parmigana which were delicious and warming.The garlic bread was a little dry,not much garlic butter,but nice and crisp.It was eaten because we were so hungry.We had quite a wait for main course,but we were fed and happily chatting by now.When the pasta arrived it was piping hot and delicious! Andre was so busy as they were short staffed,but he kept checking we were ok. Recommend the pasta with chicken leeks and olives,we also had carbonara and bolognaise which were equally tasty.Thank you Andre for looking after us and working so hard.

The food here was surprisingly fantastic. The thin, crusted pizza was great. I only had one complaint. It is with the waiter we had. At the end of the meal, he hustled us for tips. He called them "smiles". So i tipped him a few euros. Then it came time for my friend to pay for his pizza, and he turned to my friend and hustled some more "smiles" from him. We don't mind tipping, but this guy put on a bit of undesirable pressure. This is a great place to get some authentic italian food right by the Brandenburg gate.

There were four of us and we all ate different pasta, each of which was delicious! Miriam in particular was very friendly to us! We highly recommend eating here once! So again a big thank you to Miriam!

We were very happy with our meal! The service (especially Toni) was very friendly and the atmosphere was good and you felt comfortable. Gladly again!

The pizza was average and prices are quite high, which is somewhat expected since it's centrally located. However the bottled water is ridiculously expensive, charging €7.20 for a large bottle. The waiter was extremely approachable and friendly despite taking a while to get our order taken. We visited for dinner on a weekday as a large group of 11 with no reservation, and had no trouble being seated.

As appetizer we ordered gambei al limone, As main dish we ordered Tortellini al tarte and spaghetti salmone and as drink just spezis I'm not kidding, the appetizer was the most delicious thing i have ever eaten in my life, never ate anything like it 1000/10 The main dishes were on the good side of average 9/10 The drinks (spezi) were mixed on spot, and it made them taste so insanely good Staff was very kind, the view was stunning from outside Worth every single cent, overall a 10/10 Would travel here 600km every week honestly

Never again! Of course it's a top place, therefore prices are quite moderate. (The two points are for that!) But the pizza is terrible: it's cold, dough is white and does not look and taste like a pizza dough. Sparse toppings: one with some pieces of cheap toast ham (or sth like that) and slices of mushrooms, the other one with primarily green salad (never seen that before!) But in a place that is heavily frequented by tourists, it is apparently possible to sell even poor quality!

The service was awful. We waited to be seated for 20 minutes even though the restaurant was empty. Spaghetti bolognese was so bland, not worth the money. After all that, the guy expected a tip while lecturing us on how we needed to tip because he took his time to serve us (he just got our order and brought us a receipt). Would not recommend

Today we had our team day at the trattoria. Everything was just amazing. We had a young, pretty and very friendly service person and a charming and very funny young man who made us feel extremely comfortable. The food was terrific People run there ❣️

There is no willingness to care. More than 10 minutes waiting to be served and received, and there was no case we were not served, the waiter took us more than three times and at no time did he not want to serve. Horrible service.

We ate there in a group of 16 people. We were very satisfied, everyone got their food at the same time. The service was very good, thanks to Tunis.

I WOULD NOT RETURN. The food is quite bland, but the worst of all is the waiting time. More than 45 minutes to bring us the first and another 20 minutes for the second. I thought the bill would come quickly, but it didn't. We had to ask for it twice. I have to say that on top of that the dining room was half empty. If you have another option, choose it

Cozy place very close to Brandenburg Gate. Indoor and outdoor seating. Enjoyed a late lunch in the courtyard. Friendly, warm and patient waiter; thank you. we didn't feel rushed to order or to leave after our meal. Had a relaxing lunch: Carlsberg beers and Pizza Blanca Pollo. Pizza was delicious. Nice place to take a break after sightseeing!

Very poor food. I would say Polish tourist, but it wasn't terrible. Just very so-so food. Carbonara in German, i.e. with cream and onion xD The pizza is overcooked as you can see. The service was also so-so. The question "already eaten? How do we pay?" And standing with his wallet "maybe a tip". A nice place in an interesting place and that's all

Excellent trattoria with an Italian menu in the immediate vicinity of the Brandenburg Gate. Great bread and excellent vegan dishes including a superb mango ice cream.

Fast service and good value for money, the waiters were also excellent. We ordered two bruschettas, soaghetti carbonara, calzone and a spicy salami pizza.

Seien Sie vorsichtig für Zöliakiekranke, das Restaurant ist nicht geeignet. Die Karte enthält mehrere Glutenoptionen pro Person auf der Speisekarte, was sehr klein ist und keine Garantie für eine Glutenkontamination darstellt. Ich setzte mich, um das Essen zu essen Fatal, ich habe seit 2 Tagen Magenschmerzen, aufgrund der Symptome weiß ich, dass ich in diesem Restaurant Gluten gegessen habe, ich empfehle es nicht für Zöliakiekranke.

I ordered a pizza that was basically a wrap with Caesar salad on top. The soft dough. Spaghetti dishes acceptable.

Very tasty food (whether pizza, pasta or salad) right at the Brandenburg Gate. The staff is very warm and nice. For the location, quality and portions, the price is surprisingly normal. Really highly recommended. When we are back in Berlin, we will come again.

The spontaneous visit was during the lunch break totally fine! The pizza and the Caesar salad were very tasty and good value for money. If I get hungry for pizza again right at the Brandenburg Gate, I'll read my own review and come back.

Für uns war es eine freudige Überraschung, ein solches Restaurant an so einem Ort zu finden mit gutem Essen, auch vegetarischen/veganen Angeboten, sehr freundlichem Personal, gutem Service und angemessenen Preisen. Es ist unser Lieblingsrestaurant, wenn wir in der Gegend sind.

Everything was fine, but a disaster occurred when the waiter entered the tip however he wanted. I was satisfied with the food, service, and atmosphere, but I gave it 1 point because of the behavior of the last employee.

The food was very good and the location is enjoyable. On this occasion, we were grateful for the kindness of a staff member, Miriam, who gave me a couple of tablets for my headache. Her kindness allowed us to have a lovely meal, and enjoy the food and the rest of the day. Thank you so much for your kindness Miriam!

It's not exactly perfect Italian cuisine, but in our opinion the food isn't bad. We had spaghetti Bolognese and ravioli with ricotta and spinach with walnut sauce and a white pizza which I honestly liked because I like thin and crunchy pizzas. Furthermore, the room is large but not noisy. I liked it a lot. The staff is very friendly even if not Italian.

The ambience inside and outside is very nice. The selection of food is large and there are many special dishes that you don't always get. The food was absolutely delicious. The waiter was very nice and funny and, despite the stress, had everything under control and apologized if it took a little longer. But the food arrived within a few minutes. We will come here again. Another plus point was that there were also dishes with spelled products and vegan and vegetarian dishes (e.g. zoodles, vegan pizza, pizza with wholemeal spelled dough). Each dish could be adapted accordingly for an additional charge.

I used to visit this place frequently last year, and it was really nice. However, today I didn't manage to eat there. A very rude waiter snapped at us and was unpleasant, claiming that we 'sat down at a table without asking.' A moment later, he came back and told us to leave because he wouldn't serve us since we had ruined his mood. I was so shocked that I didn't even know how to respond. Has anyone else experienced something like this? What's going on?

The waiter with a ponytail was very rude. I've never been spoken to that way by a waiter. I've seen other comments mentioning poor service and would listen to them and eat elsewhere.

TRULY HORRIBLE. IT IS NOT REAL ITALIAN BUT A CARICATURE OF REAL ITALIAN CUISINE. HORRIBLE FROZEN PIZZA. INEDIBLE PASTA. HORRIBLE, UNPLEASED SERVICE. THE UNPLEASED ASIAN BOY WAS MAKING US PAY 67 EUROS WITHOUT A RECEIPT BUT IT SEEMED TOO MUCH, IN FACT THE BILL WAS 44 EUROS... IF GOOGLE DELETES THE REVIEW DESPITE THE EVIDENCE OF THE RECEIPT, THIS TIME I WILL SUE THE GIANT. THEY ALSO TRY TO SCAM IN BERLIN

We ordered minestrone, fusilli, spaghetti carbonara and tiramisu. Soup was really good 5/6, spaghetti and fusilli con pollo was great 6/6! Tiramisu 4/6

Der Service ist ok. Wir haben lange gewartet, um überhaupt eine Bestellung aufgeben zu können und dann auch auf die Rechnung. Das Essen allerdings ist sehr lecker und es sind große Portionen. Wir kommen wieder.

I dined at Mama twice during my stay in Berlin! I had a spinach ricotta ravioli first and then a funghi risotto. Both were excellent and the well served. The waiters are super friendly and the atmosphere is great! Right beside Brandenburger Tor. The prices are also very good. Highly recommend it!

Apart from the fact that the waiters avoid any contact with you, the food is tasty and comes quite quickly, a wide menu and a relatively low price considering the location. It's good considering that there are not very good alternatives to eat something high-quality without spending a fortune.

Toni was our waiter last night, an excellent worker with a lot of commitment and enthusiasm for work. The restaurant was also in an extremely pretty location and harmonized perfectly with the atmosphere of the Brandenburg Gate to the left.

I have tried better food in Berlin. I only tried a margarita pizza. Other options might be better.

Fantastic Italian restaurant in the heart of Berlin. Literally next to Brandenburg Gate. Good pizza, I had a very surprising combination: Bianca pollo e Funghi. Topper with a fantastic soil. My daughter went for the classic Spaghetti Carbonara. Also delicious. The food was served quickly, including dessert. The staff were friendly and attentive. We also got some nice tips for Berlin. The prices are particularly affordable for the heart of Berlin. A tip is not necessary, and was certainly not requested.

the worst thing I've experienced so far. They cheekily give you a frozen pizza from China in a “restaurant”. Well, "tourist trap" is self-evident, but I was hoping that would affect the prices and not the quality. really a stab in the heart of every restaurateur.. a disgrace for Berlin

We were minding our own buissness not on their property during a group trip explaining where we were with the Second World War and this man starts blasting music and when ever someone complained he become hostile and started blasting the music more. Do not eat from them they are horrible
