Went there spontaneously and had a great evening with delicious food, friendly service and a lovely atmosphere.

I wait too long for the food, I recommend it just for the outside views and the desserts, i was expecting more kindness from the waitress..

Great location, very nice. The food was unfortunately almost inedible; the gnocchi sauce was unseasoned, watery, and tasted like a bad instant sauce. The non-alcoholic Hugo was also inedible, as it was far too sour. The Margherita pizza only tasted of flour, and the spaghetti carbonara was too hard and also too bland. We paid €75, and unfortunately, it was some of the worst food we've ever eaten anywhere. The gnocchi and non-alcoholic Hugo went straight into the trash after three bites... The Brucheta appetizer didn't arrive until 45 minutes later, along with the main courses. The service even dared to try to persuade me to drink a regular Hugo instead of the non-alcoholic one, even though I'm obviously eight months pregnant. The restrooms were extremely dirty, wet everywhere, smelled unpleasant, and of course, not even paper towels. All in all, a total flop. Better go somewhere else for your hard-earned money, folks...

Unfortunately, the atmosphere was very unfriendly, and they forgot to serve food three times. On top of that, the prices were completely exorbitant. Definitely not recommended!

I forgot to order, and the pizza arrived 10 minutes later, tasting like cardboard with cheese. The payment process took more than 30 minutes for 11 people. A disaster, never again.

Very good restaurant, with a first-class offer. Friendly atmosphere. Reasonable prices. Great service - fast and helpful, and friendly. 5 stars, the highest rating, is accurate/adequate for the attractiveness of this place. Nice area. Nearby are tourist attractions, the closest of which are: Brandenburg Gate and Paris Square. I recommend!

Food was good. However, unnecessary comments from staff which made us (two young women) feel very uncomfortable. Tap water wasn’t available upon request.

It’s not authentic Italian tiramisu, watery, no shortbread. And we are ignored for along time outdoor seating only for German natives and food services. But indooor is really stiffy and hot

Visually, the restaurant made a pretty good impression on us, and we had no problem getting a table for 6. The food and drinks were solid. The table we were sitting at was sticky, as was the floor beneath it. Unfortunately, the service was quite slow and shockingly rude. There was only one restroom in the restaurant – it wasn't cleaned and there was no toilet paper. When the waiter came to pay, I started and gave him the exact amount of cash. He then asked if I didn't want to leave a tip, which I said no. When others paid and didn't leave a tip, the waiter actually had the nerve to loudly emphasize this with a rather arrogant noise. After that, any claim to a tip was gone, and I must honestly admit that it left me speechless – I've never experienced anything like it before.

This place was a gem in Berlin. The atmosphere is pleasant and relaxed. The staff was very friendly, even when we tried to converse with the waiter in our Spanglish. The price/quality ratio was unbeatable. We returned twice to eat, and if I return to Berlin, I will go again.

The service was quite nice, and the prices were reasonable (between €10 and €16 for a pizza). The vegetarian selection is quite extensive, and there are dishes you don't hear about every day. The minestrone I ordered as a starter was okay, nothing more; it was very oily. The pizza, on the other hand (with asparagus, cream cheese, and honey), was delicious, although they skimped on the asparagus. The atmosphere was pleasant.

I don't recommend this restaurant. The waiter (according to him, a family member) was so unfriendly that he couldn't manage an order for four people. He even became abusive. Because we were from Saxony-Anhalt and had tattoos, he called us racists. All this just because he forgot to serve a meal and had no intention of apologizing. Absolutely not service-oriented. At least the other service staff stepped in and mediated the situation with appropriate words. Unfortunately, the food was the same. The pasta tasted like frozen food, and the pizza was dripping with grease. Absolutely not recommended!!!

I can only agree with the others, that one waiter with a southern appearance who called us racists should choose a job in industry or production and stay away from customer care and service in the catering industry. The way we were treated was a bottomless disgrace when we told the waiter that we were not satisfied because the order for 4 people was almost completely wrong. It all started with the waiter's bruised ego because of our complaint (typical southerner, greetings from Saxony from the alleged racist). No insight, no apology and then to insult us as racists and ask if we had served the country was the height of excess!!! I am still getting angry at this waiter a day later and am wasting valuable time in the process. Thanks for nothing!!!

My food was forgotten in a group of four people. If the waiter hadn't been reminded, I'd still be waiting today. This led to a discussion at the end, during which I had to listen to questions about whether I had completed my military service... foreign origins with almost complete German integration, regardless... absolutely unacceptable! Colleagues had to be brought in to keep things under control. Not even recommended, perhaps.

Be careful here. Reviews are simply deleted here. We wrote a bad review because we had glass in our food. We had a very bad experience at this restaurant.

We ate here 3 times as we were struggling to find anywhere else that had gluten free options. Good menu choice generally. The waiter we had, Jake, the first night was great and helped us the other 2 evenings as well. We would certainly recommend this place.

The location is of course great and the ambience is also good. The food was decent but I was expecting better quality for the price and location. While it's not bad, the pizzas were average and there are better pizza places in Berlin that I've been to.

We loved the meal, service, and atmosphere. Especially vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free options are life savers with such a delicious food.

Very good meal in a pleasant setting, with a superb view of the Brandenburg Gate. The dishes are tasty, the service is friendly. We made friends with a very friendly Tunisian waiter - small downside, he asked for a tip directly at the time of the bill.

Affordable and tasty, generous portions. I really appreciated gluten free and liw carb pasta and pizza options. The beef in my pasta was pretty hard to chew though

The food was very good, the terrace was great, and the service was attentive and very friendly. I definitely recommend this place, especially for families with kids – the children could play on the terrace while we enjoyed our meal. The pizza was good, but I especially loved the penne with beef (penne al manzo) – it was delicious! The portions are also quite generous.

So close to the Gate and for such a location, the prices are really nice. In addition, the service was very good and the room decor was nice

Terrible service, 20 minutes to be served, hour till received starters, shortly followed by main. Did taste good. Said to chef we how long we waited for starters, and he ignored us and walked off. Then returned during main course and with no apology gestured thumbs up. Awful experience, poor staff looked overworked and understaffed.

The noodles were still very firm. I ordered with asparagus and it felt like there was only half an asparagus cut into small pieces. Had veal and it was as bad as chewing gum and not the color it was supposed to be

This italian restaurant is overall pretty good. Nice staff, decent food and prices. Considering this is on one of the tourist hotspots it actually surprising.

The pasta could have used a bit more salt, but since each table had salt, pepper, and oil available, it wasn’t a big issue—better under-seasoned than overly salty. The Bolognese pasta was slightly overcooked for my taste, and the Carbonara could have been creamier, with a bit more sauce. On the other hand, the Aglio e Olio with prawns was excellent—the prawns were perfectly cooked and the dish wasn’t too oily. The wine was excellent, both the white and the red. Even though the place is quite large, with two terraces and plenty of seating, it’s a very popular restaurant, so waiting times can vary. Most of the time, all tables are occupied. However, as soon as a table becomes free, a waiter promptly cleans it and kindly invites you to sit, which helps keep things moving smoothly.

Great location, but not a tourist trap. I am pleased that organic meat is used and there are many vegetarian dishes. The taste was ok. The asparagus has a good bite. Unfortunately, the veal was extremely hard, hard to chew, and the sauce was watery. The risotto looked very dismal, few vegetables, no garnish. One would have expected more in terms of taste. The employees try to be friendly, but there is no smile. Probably a very stressful job, quite small staff for a busy Friday evening.

This is an amazing restaurant in the very heart of Berlin. The food is absolute experience for the senses! The service is on a very high level and every time I am in Berlin, I always visit it. It is one of my most favorite places in Berlin! I can highly recommend it to everyone who is visiting Berlin.

We went there for dinner relatively spontaneously. The location was really nice. In general, the restaurant was stylishly designed and the service was very open and friendly. The food was served quite quickly considering how busy it was at the time. The food was very tasty. And there were many vegetarian dishes to choose from. I'd love to come back :)

Food really good. Staff not really attentive, the service concept is missing. What was annoying was that despite the tip being given, they tried to hide more tip in the card statement. It was offered to refund the difference in cash, but such an approach is a no go. That's why only 3 stars overall, although the food deserved more

Update April 2025: Glad nothing has changed. Still our recommendation because... In a place that literally opens the floodgates for tourists, this restaurant delivers a surprisingly solid performance. We had pasta for our children, pizza for ourselves and everything was just really good. The pizza comes on a wooden board along with a pizza cutter. Plus an almost unbeatable price-performance ratio and really friendly service! We'll definitely be back!

The prices are slightly higher depending on the location. The food was good, but nothing special. The service was also quick and it was easy to sit there.

Although the food was decent, the waiter charged each of us at the table a 1 euro tip and that was because we were Spanish. It was a big scam and the waiter was a scoundrel. He made us pay 4 euros extra.

We went to this restaurant for dinner. One pizza was missing even though I ordered it. The waiter who made this mistake was extremely rude. It is not nice for waiters to be rude in a place like this. Maybe they do not like tourists. Pizza taste was average.

We were a group. We ate three types of pasta, penne all' angerta, fusilli with mushrooms and fusilli carbonara. Then a tiramisu. The food is good but not great. The pasta was not al dente. The staff however is very helpful and kind. The bathrooms are clean and spacious, but two were out of order. We were there at a time when there was almost no one there. Perhaps this is also why we had the waiter all to ourselves. The prices are excellent. The location is perfect for those who would like to visit the Brandenburg Gate or the parliament.

We ordered a margherita pizza and a calzone. In contrast to the description in the menu, the calzone did not have ham in it. The waiter, upon asking, informed us that the chef did put ham in it. Nevertheless, we failed to find its presence. Location and services are okay. Food seems to be overpriced.

Very good food but extremely unfriendly staff, a shame

We were there today with our kids. The main reason for our visit was that our oldest needed gluten-free food and we became aware of it through some research. It was more than worth it. The food was great and we were all full and completely satisfied at the end. The portions are of sufficient size and the quality was absolutely right. I haven't eaten pizza this good in a long time!

Salad very good, spaghetti ok, waiting times insufficient. 1 hour wait as an individual and 30 minutes to eat. Salad was quick, but main menu... I was also forgotten twice, which left a bitter aftertaste.

The food and drink selection was extremely extensive. Especially since it was also very tasty. I also liked that there were vegan options, such as milk alternatives and antipasti. Tuni, the waiter, served us well with his humor and generally made us feel very comfortable :) Gladly again 🙇🏼‍♀️

The food is pretty average. The pizza had a thin but very tasteless crust. It was on par with a frozen supermarket pizza. The Pasta was unfortunately a bit overcooked but it was fine. Definitely not worth the price imo. There are many better Italian places in Berlin but for the location I think it’s fine. It’s a very touristy area. The service was good and attentive.

The carpaccio starter was good but I ordered carbonara pasta and it was horrible, tasteless and the products were of low quality. I would like to highlight the attention of the manager and he has discounted the dish from my bill but I would not go back.

We walked around and really wanted to eat. We saw this cafe and were not mistaken. Prices are reasonable, almost 30€ for two. We ordered pasta, and they brought us simply gorgeous portions; we ate to our hearts’ content. I advise)

Very good value for money overall! Located right next to the gate, this restaurant offers a nice selection of good quality meals! My friend and I both had pizza, one was gluten free. Other options are also available to address food restrictions. We went on a Sunday afternoon so we made a reservation before just to be on the safe side, but there seems to have been free table around that time. The quality of the food was nice, we enjoyed our meals, the staff were really nice and accommodating, and the price was reasonable. I would definitely recommend it for casual dining with friends and family! They also have several toilets, and they were pretty clean.

The pasta with vegetables was not good at all. A few pasta, with a lot of oil and vegetables that didn't fit at all and simply had nothing to do with Italian. Unfortunately, nothing was seasoned either. We mentioned this on our own (without asking) when the waiter was clearing the plates, but he didn't really care. No apology, no further inquiry, nothing. Very unfortunate.
