Solid restaurant with a good selection of pizzas in a wide variety of variations. They're tasty, but not particularly outstanding. Service was attentive and friendly. The shop is in a nice location, but at the time we visited, Sunday evening, it was quite dirty with lots of crumbs on the seats. Dogs are also allowed, which isn't a problem per se, but if the dog (apparently a Great Dane) sits on the sofa cushions at the next table and almost takes chairs with it when jumping down, that takes some getting used to...

I've never experienced anything like that before when I go to a restaurant and see the waitress and the bartender chatting together behind the bar and looking at something on their cell phone, not even greeting the guests!!! It took a very long time to get the menu and the funny thing was, there wasn't much going on!!! Then we get lukewarm food because the staff behind the bar had better things to do, we'll never go there again, the first and last time!

Wir haben das italienische Restaurant ausprobiert und waren echt begeistert. Die Atmosphäre war total gemütlich, das Personal super nett und das Essen war einfach lecker. Die Pasta war frisch und die Pizza perfekt. Ein schöner Abend, den wir gerne wiederholen werden!

We are here often. Yummy. But unfortunately the portions are getting smaller and smaller (especially the pasta dishes).

The restaurant has a minimalist interior with an open-plan bar and kitchen, visible through a large window. The setup gives it a casual, almost fast-food feel. Our pizzas arrived in 10-inch sizes, served alongside the pasta dishes. The pizzas tasted better than they looked. The four-vegetable pizza was quite wet but still flavorful. The Gambari pizza was enjoyable, though it could have used more prawns, as they were sparsely distributed. The house white wine was disappointing below average and not particularly easy to drink. On the plus side, service was fast and efficient, making for a smooth dining experience. A good option for a fast food option/ quick dining options.

El restaurante tiene un interior minimalista con un bar de planta abierta y cocina, visible a través de un gran ventanal. La configuración le da una sensación de comida casual, casi rápida. Nuestras pizzas llegaron en tamaños de 10 pulgadas, servidas junto con los platos de pasta. Las pizzas sabían mejor de lo que parecían. La pizza de cuatro verduras estaba bastante húmeda, pero todavía sabrosa. La pizza Gambari era agradable, aunque podría haber utilizado más gambas, ya que estaban escasamente distribuidas. El vino blanco de la casa era decepcionante por debajo de la media y no era particularmente fácil de beber. I was there on weekday evenings. We were greeted warmly and were able to choose our own table. Someone was there to take the order quickly and responded to our indecision in a friendly manner. The bruschetta tasted very good, as did the pasta with organic beef.

We were there on Saturday evening. It was very well attended. Our reserved table was available immediately. The menu is varied and not too big. There are several gluten free dishes which is really great for people with celiac disease. That was also the reason why we visited this restaurant. The food, drinks and service were really very good. It's a shame that the atmosphere is a little bit cool. But you can do that positively with the others en things very well. We will definitely come back. Thank you for the lovely evening 👋

Very pleasant surprise, we weren't scheduled to be there. Very tasty food and modern atmosphere. Lots of families there and attentive staff looking after everyone. Great, we'll be back!

I've been here several times. Service and ambience are very good and the staff is very friendly. Unfortunately the quality of the pizza hasn't gotten any better.

Sorry but it was loud and cramped. Staff was great but not my type of place where I feel comfortable.

Wir gehen immer sehr gern in der Trattoria Mama essen. Der Service ist freundlich und aufmerksam, das Essen ist schön zubereitet und schmeckt sehr gut. Es gibt gute vegetarische Optionen, und Flexibilität ist dort kein Problem.

Gambas a bit tasteless, without seasoning and more salad would be appropriate for the price. The bread is heavy on the stomach.

The waiter was sometimes not entirely focused on the matter. Food tasted good. It happened relatively quickly but it wasn't anything special

We had a great birthday and the food is simply fabulous. I recommend the panna cotta vegan dessert.

Food was surprisingly bad: not fresh, lukewarm, no bread. Service was new (?) and disinterested, a shame! I won't go there again for a while.

The entire service process was chaotic. We were asked a few times if we ordered this or that. Our table next door got 2x bread, we got none. I got my starter about 20 minutes (!!) before the person opposite me. Our waiter was unreasonable and attributed the order confusion to a technical error in the computer system. The waiter's goodwill offer: a warm drink on the house. Outrageous! After all, you go out to eat to enjoy a bit of quality of life. Unfortunately that wasn't possible here.

Der Pizzateig sollte gewechselt werden, er ist sehr schlecht. Tomatensauce ist gut. Ich danke meiner Frau für ihre Geburtstagsgeste und schenke ihr ein Dessert.

Llegamos sin reserva y fueron capaces de acomodarnos. La camarera también podía hablar inglés con fluidez. Fue capaz de entender y explicar los procedimientos establecidos para que un celíaco disfrutara de la comida de forma segura. La pizza llegó en una hoja de papel de cocina, ya que se utilizó para proteger la pizza de la contaminación cruzada. Fue maravilloso. Disfrutamos de un postre de helado encantador también - sin duda vale la pena una visita!

The “service” in this restaurant is really a disgrace! At first we were directed to another seat because where we were sitting was reserved - ok so far. When the gentlemen who had made the reservation came after us, they were served immediately while we continued to wait to be handed the card. After chatting with a colleague, the waiter went to a table with guests who had also arrived after us! After 15 minutes of disrespect we got up and left! Mama Mia - NEVER AGAIN!!

The worst pizza in Hamburg! Gold medal for scam! And what about the price of drinks... I have rarely eaten so badly in Germany :(

Pizza doesn't taste good, there's hardly any toppings and it's sticky like it came from the freezer. Price-performance ratio cannot be justified. Never again Mama trattoria!!!!!!!!

Very solid spaghetti bolognese! The service staff is also very friendly and helpful. Highly recommended for a relaxed pasta in between meals.

Price performance is not suitable. The waiter walked past our table several times before acknowledging us to be there. Prices too high for the size of the food.

Price performance is simply unbeatable, everything is freshly prepared, fast service in a relaxed atmosphere. Always a good choice and recommended.

It's okay - that's actually perfect. We had Pizza Tonno and Penne Manzo Vino Rosso. The penne was al dente - but the whole dish was swimming in a sauce made from a little wine and a lot of water. The dish also tastes as if the red wine had not been completely reduced. The service is friendly and accommodating. The terrace is spacious. In the evening you can park on the street for free. An S-Bahn is within walking distance!

Waited forever for food and finally left mom again because of time constraints and being hungry. A note at the beginning with a waiting time >1h would be nice. The young waitress was also completely overwhelmed and cheeky. There was nothing more than a shrug of the shoulders.

Beautiful dishes and very child-friendly

Unfortunately we had to wait over an hour for our food and unfortunately I don't think the price is fair either. 7€ for three leaves of lettuce and 4 strips of carrot and 2 tomatoes... it's called "starter salad". We won't be coming back

Everything's ok, it's a bit of a different menu than other Italian restaurants - on the whole you can just sit outside and people watch with a drink.

Have eaten there several times. The food comes quickly and tastes very tasty, and the service was always very polite and friendly. We ate there again on Thursday and were very satisfied!!!

Ich habe das Lokal schon öfter besucht und war in der Vergangenheit zufrieden. Ist kein Gourmetlokal, aber das Essen war okay. Das Essen hat sich verschlechtert und das Lokal wirkt schmuddelig (insbesondere die Toilette). Der Service war auch nicht besonders aufmerksam (war auch schon besser).

Sehr lecker gegessen… Gemeinsam mit 3 Kindern war es eine prima Erfahrung!

Great location in Blankenese. We got a spot spontaneously. The food is really good, but unfortunately the guests were processed. There's a bit of a lack of warmth here to make you feel welcome. It's a shame, but maybe we just had a bad day.

Looked good from the outside with nice surroundings. That's where it ended. I am well travelled and have a lot of experience in all types of cuisines. So I ordered starters, 2 pasta dishes cabinara and penna arrabbiate and a pizza. Pasta dishes had no flavor at all, I am not sure who made it but I had a look in the kitchen observing staff at work...?? All pre-made heated up upon order. The pizza, which is the simplest of the simple, base was undercooked and tomato sauce was of poor quality. Super expensive drinks....... All in all a bad experience not to be repeated. Maybe a look in the kitchen is in order...any Italian would be disgusted by this representation of his countries food.

Family friendly restaurant. Food is okay. Unfortunately, instead of the dishes I ordered from the children's menu, portions for adults were delivered and billed to me. The food is okay, unfortunately nothing more. I had a Caesars salad, which costs around €12 and on the plate were 2 bread chips, some shaved parmesan, 3 cherry tomatoes and romaine lettuce. An absolute disgrace! When I asked, I was supposed to get some bread with it, but they probably forgot about it. Got dessert on the house. That was meant nicely, but it didn't taste particularly good (panna cotta and tiramisu). But everyone was very nice and friendly.

I'm excited. The restaurant is in a great location and is beautifully designed. Lots of natural light comes into the restaurant through large windows. The staff was super friendly and quick, despite the high capacity utilization. There really is something for everyone on the menu. Really highly recommended!

The food is really delicious 😍 & I will probably come back, BUT.... Unfortunately the service staff seems to be overwhelmed or understaffed.... [poorly paid too... so... you can't expect TOP service 🤷🏼‍♀️] It takes a long time until you get a card or can place an order.... Unfortunately, at least some of the staff don't have an eye on their guests AT ALL 😑😑... The coffee machine is always turned off at 9 p.m. 😞😞 Which is NOT Italian at all 🥴🥴 👉👉 Espresso after dinner 😅? Not possible..... It's also a shame that it's been closing so EARLY lately 😕😕 . But: the Latte di Coco dessert 🍧 is a DREAM 💜🥥.

The pizza just didn't taste good. It was the "Prosciutto & Funghi" from the standard menu. My pizza was watery and soggy and just didn't seem appetizing to me. I was assuming that something like this would work in system catering. I was accordingly disappointed.

Ate very good pizza calzone. The staff was nice and attentive. I liked outpatient. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll be back.

Non mi é piaciuto: Han portato i primi con ancora i piatti degli antipasti a tavola, Risotto era scotto, Senza glutine ma non garantiscono il 100% (il cameriere ha riportato ciotola con formaggio grattato nella cesta del pane) Vino pinot non mi é piaciuto Bagni con un brutto odore Alla fine ameriwre chiede 10% di mancia insistentemente. Per noi é troppo comincia a dire cose non belle.

Sorry, the charm is missing here. You won't find Italy here...in the "cheap places" there isn't even enough for a pillow. Disappointing. The waitress did her best, that was good.

This is a reliable source of Italian food. We came here for dinner on a holiday. The restaurant seemed to be understaffed at that time. While our waitress was very friendly she was obviously overwhelmed and every single step of the process was way longer than we expected. After we had eaten we asked for dessert. There was a major hiccup which ended in us not receiving dessert. Instead we got a coffee on the house. I assume that service is different normally, so do go there if you want some kind of Italian food fast.

Absoluter Durchschnitt, nix Besonderes. Kellner hat den bestellten kleinen Salat nicht mit serviert, hat ihn aber nach Ansprache auch nicht berechnet. Es spielten zwei Musiksender zeitgleich aus der Küche und im Gastraum, für empfindliche Ohren wäre es eine Zumutung gewesen.

Super sympathisches Restaurant, SEHR freundliche Bedienung, raffinierte aber nicht überkandiedelte Küche, SEHR leckeres Essen, italienische Küche mit modernem Flair, Auswahl gross auch für Bio-Vegetarier*innen. Wir sind begeistert, haben es sehr genossen und kommen gerne wieder.

Das hausgemachte Ragout mit Weißwein und Kräutern hat mich enttäuscht. Viele Nudeln, wenig Ragout und leider wenig Geschmack. Rotwein gab es nur französischen.
