Mam-Mam Burger in Nürnberg

The cheeseburger was perfect. It tasted fresh, homemade… one of the best burgers I have eaten… will order again! The sweet potato fries were also crispy and tasty, just right… I liked that there was very little salt! Price performance ratio TOP

Burger is okay, but not an absolute highlight. In terms of price (burger with sweet potato fries for €20), I find it quite expensive, but I expect a little more.

We ordered burgers, fries and drinks from Mam Mam Burger yesterday. Unfortunately, a drink wasn't included - it's not that bad, that can happen. We reported the missing drink using the Lieferando “Problems with Items” function. Unfortunately there was no feedback whatsoever. Today we ordered two burgers and fries from Mam Mam again; with the result that the fries were not delivered. After there was no response to a written complaint yesterday, we called Mam Mam today. It was confirmed here that it was Mam Mam Burger's fault that the orders were incomplete. However, the only solution from the service on the phone was to pick up the missing items there yourself or to order and pay again. This suggestion is unacceptable: 1. It was already paid for. 2. Payment was made for a delivery. 3. By the time the missing fries (but also yesterday's cola) arrive, the rest of the food is already cold. In the end we were told that the service would call the line and call us back. Unfortunately the call never came either. Thanks to Lieferando, the difference was refunded. Conclusion for Mam Mam Burger: Food itself is very good, service is non-existent. Too bad...!

Ordered cheeseburger chicken from Mam Mam Burger via Uber. There was a promotion where you ordered one burger and got a second one for free. Both Cheeseburger Chicken were delivered without cheese. Extremely carelessly put together. A tiny softened lettuce leaf, a slice of tomato and cucumber and lukewarm and softened. A burger like this costs €12.50! Are you serious? Unfortunately I couldn't eat these... I specifically don't go to the big, well-known fast food chains because I wanted good quality that you pay for!

The waitress was friendly. The food was decent, but the patty was a bit dry. I’d recommend sitting outside, as there’s a noticeable oily smell indoors. The plate was chipped on the edge, and someone tried to cover it up with a marker.

How can you like the burgers? The meat-bun ratio doesn't fit at all, the meat was completely tasteless, you couldn't detect anything like salt on it or in it. Even half the price on Uber Eats is way too much for me! It was really completely disappointing and the worst burgers I've ever had.

Nice service and quick preparation of the food. However, the taste is really nothing special and the price is too high. Little meat, and the coleslaw was swimming in cream/milk.

Food is pretty so-so and very expensive. 5€ for a bottled beer is high, 8€ for a small portion of chili cheese fries is cheeky (4€ for normal ones too) and almost 11€ (15€ for a double, which you actually have to take) is also way too expensive . In the end you leave just under €30 (with a tip, there is at least good service) and are halfway full. But not remotely happy. The burgers are of course better quality than the established giants, but the prices have a lot of room for improvement.

Worst cheese burger of my life. In the end, just under 17 euros for a burger on which you look for the meat. Totally overrated and overpriced.

After the Fürth store closed and the new “focus” started, things tasted really good again here (after a low phase). Keep it up, you're on the right track. Really nice to sit outside in the summer.

Chilli cheese burger was delicious.

Unfortunately, a classic “street food” burger that doesn’t seem like it wants to be anything more. At a price of >10€, a thinly fried patty with a little cheese and the classic toppings is simply not enough. The bread was also rather boring and tasted like a supermarket. The service, on the other hand, was great, you can't complain about that, but the toilets were very dirty.

In recent years, MAM MAM has changed much of what contributed significantly to its previous success. The initially excellent fries now taste like everywhere else. The vegetarian/vegan options that used to make the place stand out (cheese sandwich and portobello burger) have been eliminated and replaced with standard meat substitutes that you can find thrown at every corner. What an impoverishment! What was a really good German version of Shake Shack has turned into an ordinary, average burger shop that differs only slightly from McDonald's & Co. in terms of quality (but even more so in terms of price). A pity!

Eat: The burgers were very, very tasty, nice and smoky and juicy, the vegetables were also fresh, the bread was nice and fluffy and delicious! NOT a frozen meat product, everything is freshly made, including the onion rings. The fries were delicious too. Cons: You can't taste much difference between the other burgers. Maybe you could incorporate more creativity. Service: The service is very nice and attentive, the food is served very quickly. Ambiance: The ambience is simple but hip. I think you should make a reservation for groups of 4 or more people, it is well attended. There is a parking garage around the corner, otherwise parking options are limited.

Location a bit uninspired, not really comfortable on the benches. Plus juicy prices for an “ok” burger (cost 19.50 for a burger without fries). Service was top. But unfortunately the price/performance and the overall package don't really fit here.

Perfect for a quick snack on the run with friends or alone. But certainly not a family restaurant and generally not a place where you want to stay longer than necessary. The furniture in the form of long tables and benches is functional, but rather uncomfortable, you can't lean on it and there's nothing padded. The toilet is not an eye-catcher, it has “iconic” stickers on it and, when I visited, it was unfortunately equipped with no paper towels in the dispenser or other ways to dry my hands. The selection of drinks is very small, especially when it comes to beer there is potential to play with different types or even offer something more experimental such as various (regional) craft beers. Instead, there is only a minimum of choice. But at least there are good varieties (Gösser Radler and Bayreuther Helles for beer drinkers, for example). The service was extremely friendly and attentive, arrived quickly and asked questions every now and then. You cant complain. And the food came to the table quickly. The selection of dishes was as expected and absolutely sufficient. There is something for every (smash) burger lover. At the same time, that's where the biggest problem lies, because the burgers we ordered were "okay", but nothing more. The patties were relatively well fried (meat and Beyond Meat), but the buns fell apart while eating and the "MamMam sauce" was vaguely reminiscent of a cocktail sauce and tasted uninspired. The fries were decent, both in quantity and quality. One portion is easily enough for two. A clear negative point for me, however, is the price of a certain product: you pay an astronomical €19.50 for a Beyond Meat Double Cheeseburger. With an estimated cost of goods of around €5-6, that's a proud price. Especially since the animal counterpart is available for €7 (!!!) less. The competition (e.g. Guerilla Groestl) offers the same burger for €16. Overall, it was an "okay" experience for me, but not something you'd want to tell friends about or hang out with colleagues at the end of the day.

Smashed burger and sandwich in bun are very tasty. Since it's just a large room, it's very annoying that the staff with their cliques of guests/friends talk louder than everyone else. The rush to order even though the store was empty so we could chat again is inappropriate.

Burgers were good, but a bit too expensive in my opinion. For 2 burgers and one fries + two waters it was over €40.

Repost of a review from 2016: Too loud if you want to have a conversation. We had to wait 20 minutes for our table to be available, everything is very hectic there. The burgers were good, the fries were lukewarm and too dark. You feel more like you're in a snack bar than in a restaurant. But if you want to grab something quick and leave straight away, it's absolutely fine.

UPDATE: almost 2 years later I received information from Google that the restaurant doubted the authenticity of my review and wanted to have it deleted if there was no evidence. Apparently this restaurant needs to delete REAL negative criticism and thus distort the overall picture. Delivery very disappointing. Ordered today and received delivery 2 hours 40 minutes later. When we called the restaurant after 2 hours, they said it was busy and it was now being thrown on the grill. If the delivery time had been known, I would not have ordered there and will not do so again!

Well the store used to be great. Now there aren't even any chicken burgers left! The beer also costs €4.5! 😵

Ok, es ist schon 2 jahre her, aber ok-wenn sie jetzt eine Erklärung wollen (laut Google Email), kann ich gerne eine schreiben, weil ich mich sehr gut dran erinnern kann. Ich ginge mit eine Kollegin zu Mittag hier und hatte ein Burger. Sie wollte zu erst nicht hier her, weil sie meinte, sie hatte schon mal Sand in ihrem Burger hier gefunden und will nicht mehr hier her. Ich hab sie überzeugt, dass sie denen noch eine Chance gibt, weil es kann ja manchmal passieren... Witzigerweiße passierte mir das gleiche vor ihr... Im zweitem biss Sand... Ich habs lieber gelassen... Die Mitarbeiter haben sich entschuldigt, dass war aber auch alles. Der Burger war auch so-so (mind. Der erste Biss)... Aber wie schon gesagt- vor 2 jahren.

Der Burger war super lecker, die Bedienung auch super freundlich und Aufmerksam, der Eistee auch mal was besonderes :-) Einzig Verbesserungspotential sehe ich beim Ambiente.. die Holzbänke ohne Sitzpolster sind schon sehr hart. Und es „reicht“ auch ziemlich nach Burger, weil die Küche nicht getrennt vom eigentlichen Lokal ist. Aber sonst 5 Sterne!

Ottimi panini che ci si può costruire e personalizzare in tutti i modi partendo da 5 varianti più due con "carne" vegetariana. Li ho praticamente provati tutti e devo dire che sono tutti molto gustosi e danno tanta soddisfazione. Disponibile anche per asporto o consegna a domicilio.

Wer sich vom etwas albernen Namen der Kette nicht abschrecken lässt, findet hier recht schmackhafte Burger und gute Fritten zu gehobenen Innenstadtpreisen. Ich persönlich mag die Burger von Guerilla Gröstl lieber, seit den guten alten Foodtruck-Zeiten. Bedienung nett, längere Wartezeit.

Hier dürfte es wohl mit die besten Burger in der Stadt geben. Kostet deutlich mehr als die üblichen Schnellrestaurants, aber die Zutaten sind hochwertig und schmecken eben auch so. Individuelles Ambiente passend zum Konzept des Restaurants.

Sehr leckere und saftige Burger. Unbedingt mit Spiegelei (etwas flüssig lassen) probieren. Einfach TOP. Die Süßkartoffelpommes sind auch wirklich sehr gut. Die Preise sind wirklich hoch, aber es ist heutzutage überall so. Die Restaurants müssen ja irgendwie über Wasser bleiben bei den ganzen Kosten. Werden wieder kommen, sehr empfehlenswert.
