Delicious bowls and friendly staff

The food is simply tasteless and consists only of raw ingredients. There's no inspiration or flair for the food. Therefore, you'll almost certainly find yourself in the bathroom within 30 minutes, writing an angry review. I have no idea how anyone could possibly like the concept?!

What kind of concept is this? A line stretching all the way to the door on a Saturday lunchtime, with a single person responsible for preparing the food. It HAS to be fancy self-service—no problem, but why can't you offer service with such a large crowd, with enough staff so people can order and feel served? With a line and wait like that, everyone will leave. Waiting 40 minutes in line for a measly salad...

The food is good, but the customer service isn't worth the name. After the wrong, cheaper food is delivered, the customer service team first puts you off and then completely ignores you.

I enjoy going there; the staff and the quality of the food always make it a pleasant visit.

I love this place! If you’re looking for healthy bowls for lunch/dinner Ma’Loa is a perfect place. They have very delicious açai bowl and as well as rice or zoodle bowls. You can wither choose your bowl from the menu oe create/customize your own bowl. There are vegetarian and vegan options as well. Atmosphere is also very nice, interior is fully in green 🥰 absolutely recommend this place!

Ordered with the practice for the break, and every order was missing something or was included even though they said they didn't want it. Instead of chicken, I got raw tuna. We were very hungry and everyone was disappointed in the end, which is a shame. Definitely NOT WORTH the price. The food was soggy and mushy.

Absolutely not recommended! The staff is very unfriendly. They charged me an extra €5 for one piece of avocado! I wanted two mixed sauces in the bowl, and they charged me an extra €5 for that, too. So, I paid almost €25 for the bowl! I've never experienced anything like it.

Most importantly, the food there is absolutely delicious, creative (you can create your own combinations), and made with fresh, healthy ingredients. The sauces are also interesting and varied. The staff is always on edge when it's busy, but they're very friendly! The prices are up to each individual, but with a few extra ingredients, plus maybe a drink, it gets expensive! The wait times are understandable (online ordering is possible, custom bowls are made, etc.), but as a self-service guest, it's annoyingly long. The only real criticism is the cleanliness of the outdoor tables; they could easily mix a few more bowls from the table! 😬

We specifically selected Maloa for your 2 for 1 ad that you shared on Instagram, but they didn't implement the campaign. Although we have eaten at Maloa many times, I don't think I will go there again.

This review is exclusively about the Açaí Bowl, which unfortunately I can't really recommend. I got a large portion of açaí puree for €10.90, but the taste didn't impress me. There was no fresh fruit except for a few blueberries. With strawberries this is understandable because of the lack of season, but at least one could have expected a fresh banana. The cocoa nibs didn't score well in terms of taste either. Overall, I found the price-performance ratio to be significantly overpriced.

I have been visiting MaLoa regularly for a long time. This evening I ordered a bowl to take away and I got half the portion as usual. When I politely asked the employee about it, she just said it wasn't my fault. When I replied that I didn't blame her for this but was surprised about the small portion, she said we have new portions, I can't help it, I can take your complaint to the boss. At that moment she looks at the other colleague and laughs under her nose. When I said again that I hadn't attacked her and that her behavior wasn't right, they said again that I couldn't do anything about it. I haven't experienced anything so rude in a long time. I would understand if the lady had been stressed, but there were only two people in line behind me who had already been served. Very unfortunate. I went to MaLowa 1-2 times a month. But today was my last visit. Half portion for the price of 15€ + rude staff. In that case I'd rather go somewhere else. There is enough choice in Bonn.

It was a nice visit with our voucher book. We created the bowls ourselves and were well guided through the ingredients. However, I couldn't see everything at the counter. My friend had previously looked out all the ingredients on her smartphone and realized that she already had great ingredients. My bowl was a little more boring. So checking ingredients online beforehand is recommended. 😇

We were impressed by the food and asked the owner for catering for my 40th birthday. The communication, the offer and the friendliness were great. You can tell that the owner and his crew are passionate about their job. 50 people came to my Hawaiian themed party. Without exception, everyone was enthusiastic about the food, the selection and the authentic friendliness of the boss and the employees. It was the absolute highlight of my party and I would order it again at any time. The Maloa has gained a few new regular customers :) Thanks again.
