Fantastic pizza and wonderful staff. My only bit of constructive criticism is regarding the decor and vibe. The stark lighting and mismatched art styles made for a bit of a visual cacophony. The menus were sticky and surfaces were not necessarily clean which put a bit of question mark in my head. Probably good for after work and casual dining, definitely not a place for a date.

A friendly welcome and the most delicious pizza in Berlin.

The pizza is a classic, high standard, but the place is a bit run down and the service is not what it used to be. Though, rather than queuing in other places nearby, it is worth a dinner visit!

If I could I wouldn't give any points at all. But unfortunately it doesn't work without it. So it will be a star. I have never been treated as badly as a customer in my entire life as I was here. The store is currently being heavily promoted via Instagram and Tik Tok. And I think that's where the problem of evil lies!!!! Ambience, flair and extremely simple gastronomy. We were in Prenzlauer Berg. It's uncomfortable and just not nice. The atmosphere of a snack bar with a few tables, completely empty, no pepper or salt at the table, as you would expect from a good restaurant, not here! You don't even get bread or anything else served before you order. Customer satisfaction is very important here. You can tell it is intended for the quick processing of tourists. The food is served without cutlery, cutlery is only available upon request, otherwise you won't receive any. Sad. The waiters are cheeky or don't understand German at all! You are sometimes forced to speak or order in English. Unpleasant. It's basically very uncomfortable. And if German is spoken extremely poorly. We ordered a bottle of water as a drink. Four glasses were reluctantly placed at the table for us. And instead of the bottle being brought to the table unopened, it is served to us open. An absolute “no go” Where can you find something like that? That could have been tap water!!!! The waitress was politely asked to please bring a sealed bottle to the table. A new one is brought to us extremely aggressively, at least unopened. The waitress became extremely loud and rude. The request of another customer from the other table is not even honored because the fat waitress is of the opinion that it doesn't taste good. Wow. A small request becomes a huge problem. We've really lost our appetite. Such impossible behavior. We had reserved a table in advance because there were six of us who wanted to eat. It was mentioned in the reservation that two high chairs were required. When we arrived, the waitress started saying that she couldn't find anyone by name. Then you had to choose one yourself from the list because the waitress just didn't understand. Afterwards we were annoyed and sat at a table next to the toilet. Great, that's how you imagine it. And if that wasn't everything, they didn't even have the requested child seats, even though they were requested in advance when making the reservation. The service that worked in this restaurant that evening was simply outrageous. They weren't at all interested in how a paying customer was doing. My son sat on my lap, his requests were not honored, there was no cutlery, and people also shouted at him and insulted him. Never, never, never again!!!!! The end of the song was that we left without even eating our food. In this store the female waitress doesn't know how to behave towards a customer. We didn't accept that. We were forced to leave our food, take our children and simply flee this aggressive and dangerous situation. You want to have a quiet evening with your children and then this? Even the customers who had already eaten were harassed by the fat waitress with the dark green tips, even though she was told to leave them alone. Terrible. We would never go there again. Never!!!! It's really sad how you're treated as a paying customer these days. The problem is, and this is just a hypothesis, that nowadays no value is placed on who or what is hired, everything is taken, whether qualified or not!!!! You definitely notice that in this store. Guys, I can't recommend it!!!

For my taste a bit too pricey and I am never sure if pizza dough is cooked all the way through. When we went as a group, everyone was receiving their pizza separately. By the time I got it, everyone was finished eating. It's not that hard, it's just pizza people.

Small place with good quality pizza. It is a bit overpriced and I would suggest to put more quantity of ingredients, otherwise it seems you are eating mainly dough. Good flavour thou. The place is very small and always full, so it is very hot inside and loud, not pleasant for having a conversation.

The shop is rather small and not as nice as the other one on the main street. The menu is also a bit slimmed down. In my opinion, our pizzas could have stayed in the oven for a few more seconds, but they were still very tasty. Great dessert! Service was very nice, but we had to wait a bit even though it wasn't particularly busy. It was also quite cool in the store and the metal chairs unfortunately didn't contribute to a positive seating experience.

For me one of the places in Berlin where I can find some of the most delicious Pizzas in town. I personally prefer the flagship restaurant on Innsbrucker Platz. However, the quality at the Prenzlauerberg restaurant is just as good.

We were last night at the Malafemmina pizzeria, excellent pizza, excellent service, the guys who work there are very kind, in particular the Sardinian girl from Tempio who is very kind and sunny.

The pizza is very delicious and this is said by a person who doesn't like pizza, but I will always come back to eat a delicious pizza The atmosphere is very good if you arrive early since there will not be so many people. Additionally, it is pet friendly.

If you want to try a special pizza, I recommend the Devil Honey. It’s spicy and sweet—a great combination.

I would never have thought of getting a pizza in Berlin because I'm a bit too demanding (leavening for at least 24 hours, fresh products and 'real' mozzarella, digestibility....); It was reported to me via word of mouth during a long stay I had in Berlin and it has nothing to envy of the pizzas made in Italy. The pizza chef, Michele, actually confirmed to me that the leavening lasts over 24 hours (this can be confirmed thanks to the excellent digestibility) and due to the goodness of the ingredients your palate will take care of that. Highly recommended! If you are near Mauerpark on Sunday they have a very nice flea market with local artists playing until 8pm and it's a nice way to end the day.

Absolutely the best pizza in Berlin. Indiavolata, Yellow Margherita and Calzone Ripieno are particularly spectacular. Malamisu is also really special and very tasty as a dessert. I have visited Malafemmena many times and have been extremely satisfied almost every time. The only point of criticism is the cold metal chairs - regardless of whether you sit outside or inside. So you can sit more comfortably and beautifully in the other Malafemmena in Schöneberg! But when you get the pizza, it warms up quickly.

I found venue 2 of Malafemmina a little less pleasant than venue 1, the parent company if we want to say. Pleasant service, well-knit multi-regional team, pizza of the usual workmanship and quality. The room is not too large, the internal room is better.

As an Italian, I must say that it is a truly excellent pizza! Congratulations👍🏻

They got deep fried pizza. No need to say more

Disappointing. I'm not someone who writes bad reviews easily for pizza but this time... I ordered pizza for delivery and how disappointing was the size of it when it arrived. Seriously, the size of it is for a kid, and you pay full price. The sauce was a bit off but at least it was cooked properly. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant if you're hungry.

At first bite and glance at the pizzas, they were quite alright and tasty. But my boyfriend’s calzone was so oily that when he cut it open, oil flooded out around the filling. He pressed the top of the calzone and it was literally all over the plate. My pizza was quite alright, until all of the mozzarella hardened after the first couple of slices. It was apparently not melted enough in the oven, so it was quite difficult to eat more than half the pizza after due to this to be honest. The flavours were nice, the drinks were alright but the atmosphere of the restaurant wasn’t really cozy or nice.

3rd time here and always excellent taste, starters, all pizzas as well as tiramisu. Very good quality of ingredients, delicious pizza dough. Always my pleasure

WARNING! Avoid at all costs; not suitable for people of color. My partner and I ordered takeaway through an app and were told to wait outside in the cold while others were allowed to wait inside. Although we tried to ignore the racial bias, more people continued to enter and wait indoors. When I went to the restroom, I saw two empty tables and eight available chairs. I politely asked the waitress if we could sit there until the reserved customers arrived. Instead of a kind response, she yelled, “I don’t have time for idiots like you. You’re the rudest customer.” Her behavior felt racist, and after 13 years of dining out in Berlin, I was shocked. We were asked to step outside while two men and the waitress shouted at us, insisting they weren’t racist. Instead of apologizing, they just continued to yell for 10 min. As architects in top firms in Berlin, we understand the stress of high-pressure jobs and often work sleepless hours, including holidays and weekends. We handle it professionally. This same waitress has been described as extremely rude in many reviews, raising questions about how she remains employed there. NEVER AGAIN!

The pizza is simply awesome here. I don't know anything comparable in Berlin. All ingredients come from Italy and so do all the employees. VIVA ITALIA!

We visited in the evening and ordered a pizza to take away. In the meantime we drank a limoncello spritz. The service was very friendly and the pizza was prepared quickly. In terms of taste, the pizza was okay, the dough was very good, but the topping was a bit carelessly slapped on and not distributed properly.

The Neapolitan pizza here is simply great – perfectly baked and very authentic in taste! The service was also very friendly and attentive. Unfortunately, the seating options are not particularly comfortable, which somewhat spoils the enjoyment. Absolutely recommended for a quick meal!

I'm probably one of the most picky people regarding Italian food, being half Italian and knowing genuine Italian pizze very well. I went there with 2 friends tonight and nothing was wrong. Pizze were incredibly tasty, and the waiters were amazing. Will definitely be back.

Pizza top, of course only if you like Neapolitan pizza. Ambience functional. Service, well, only speaking Italian and English is not my thing now. We are neither in Italy nor in the UK. Of course incomprehensible to hip youth. I'm just old-fashioned. Only because I love Italy, I speak a little Italian and was able to communicate. Otherwise nice and friendly. Clear recommendation from me.

Overall, a good to very good pizza for me. However, I wasn't very keen on the surface (my own fault, I'm sure they could have made a better choice). Nevertheless, there are only 3 stars overall for the rather unfriendly service both on site and by phone when we wanted to reserve a table.

We visited this place but found that the opening hours listed on Google were incorrect, which caused an unexpected wait. Unfortunately, the staff were not particularly friendly. We ordered a pizza for takeaway, which was just okay.

Serving 0.5l Hefeweizen in a bottle with a 0.3l glass is careless. Pizza doesn't deserve the hype, mostly dough and no real seasoning. Benches are so close together that you sit back to back. A pity.

It's an absolute disgrace to sell such crap as pizza and at these overpriced prices. Absolutely cheeky. I can only advise everyone against it, save yourself the money.

I think the pizza and the desserts here are delicious, although there are now some restaurants of the same or better quality in Berlin. The big drawback of this location, however, is the arrogant and dismissive manner with which you are greeted here. Unfortunately, this spoils the atmosphere and after the second incident of this kind, I will avoid Malafemmena in the future. This hasn't happened to us at the associated location in Schöneberg, perhaps because the owner/managing director (who is the subject of this review) was not present during our visit. You definitely have to work on the hospitality and friendliness here, otherwise in my opinion this shop won't survive much longer, especially since some promising locations for good pizza have been established in Berlin in the last 2 years.

One of the worst restaurants we have visited recently. I'm talking about visited here because we were immediately sent out again. Today (June 30th, 2024) my family wanted to order a pizza to take away from here. We received an absolutely unfriendly welcome. We only wanted to order two pizzas but were told it would take a whole hour. I must add that almost the entire restaurant was free. So there shouldn't be any problems because of the many orders. Absolutely not recommended.

I ate 2 pizzas there with my wife yesterday and both got food poisoning, you should check the shelf life of your food, my brother had the same experience with you 2 months ago, we will only eat our pizzas at Pizza Nostra

I've never experienced anything like that... after I discovered that there were several hairs in my pizza and a piece of a fly, I complained to the staff and they then became extremely unfriendly to me. I really can't recommend this store... better go somewhere else...

The pizza was cold and very small, we threw it away, never again

My father is 67 years old and I thought I would invite him for pizza for his birthday... Then we ended up here... the food and the ambience seemed quite okay at first, until I eavesdropped into the kitchen while eating - the pizza maker was cutting his toenails in the kitchen... Then my father suddenly got a stomach ache that same evening ON HIS BIRTHDAY , now he's in the hospital with food poisoning... NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!

REALLY good pizza! 🍕 although I was slightly disappointed with spicy salami one, the other pizzas my friends ordered looked absolutely fantastic. Main disappointment was the salami itself.

Some of the best pizza i’ve had, period. The crust is beautiful, soft and moist, superb sauce and so flavourful. Also their chilli oil is a perfect 10! The only thing is they are a little under staffed during peak hours but they more than make up for it with their pleasant smiles and amazing pizzas!

The ambience at this location is rather solid - the chairs are absolutely uncomfortable... But the pizza is amazing - the dough rises so perfectly. I've probably eaten 20 Neapolitan pizzas - but this one was really perfect 😍🍕 Potato cream, mushrooms and rolled bacon as a topping are also very tasty 😋

Excellent aperitifs, excellent starters and pizza. Excellent environment and super welcoming and kind staff, especially the waiter with the tattoos and the waitress with the colored hair. I will definitely come back 👍🏻 The only flaw is the parking but it doesn't matter 😂😂

Sadly, out of the 2 times I've ordered, one the pizzas were cold and another they didn't come at all. Shame coz pizzas are great at the restaurant.

We were at Malafemmena for the first time and were thrilled. The pizza is in the slightly higher price segment but extremely tasty! My absolute highlight was the pistachio tiramisus - world class. The waitresses are very friendly and, unlike Berlin, they are real Italians ❤️ The location is okay, but the proximity to the main street doesn't exactly invite you to a romantic dinner - but it doesn't have to be :-) We will be back!

This time we tried Malafemmena in Prenzlauer Berg. (I'm still confused by the name, the meaning of which is absolutely clear to me...) The location isn't as pretty as the other address, but the pizzas were again super great. Really Neapolitan, with super tasty ingredients. The staff is super nice and hardworking. Definitely highly recommended!!!

We went on Friday, May 24, 2024 for dinner. Although the place was quite full, they gave us a place at a table until another one was free, since there were six of us. The service was professional and super friendly. I ate a fried calzon (highly recommended). The portions are generous. If there are three people, order two pizzas and you can share. Rich lemoncello to close the meeting. Great place!

One of the best italian pizza in Berlin! This is the most similar one to the real Italian, I really enjoyed the food and the service, we didn’t reserved the place, we just walking in and we didn’t have to wait long. Atmosphere was also good I will definitely come back again!

There are two Malafemmena restaurants in Berlin and we were in Prenzlauer Berg. The shop looks nice, but the menu was very special. Of course I can't give it a negative point because that's my personal feeling. Basically, the only thing served here is pizza and Neapolitan style. I treated myself to a pistachio day 😁 there was pizza with mortadella and pistachios (a dream). I'm not a fan of hard, crusty pizzas, so I really like the Neapolitan pizzas. The edge was so fluffy 🤤 afterwards there was a pistachio tiramisu and a pistachio schnapps. I was satisfied, but I would have liked more selection that wasn't so special.

A very pleasant environment in which to find refuge even in the evening after ten, when elsewhere in the neighborhood it is no longer possible to eat. Large choice of very good dishes and, last but not least for value, friendly and efficient staff.

Delicious Neapolitan pizza; airy edge, soft dough and good topping. The atmosphere is not very cozy, it has more of a snack bar feel. The staff is mostly friendly.

The pizza is cold and the service could at least be nice, but criticism was handled very unprofessionally. A pity. I actually wanted to clarify this personally and not write a review, but that wasn't possible with the sentence "let's work in peace now". I paid 20 euros for a pizza with a drink.

Bellissimo! I had the salad with fennel, rocket, orange fillets and pumpkin seeds, plus a parmigiana with zucchini. Great! And I tried the pizza with salsiccia. Great! And the people here are very friendly :-)

Today, 04.27.2024, I went to the Malafemmena restaurant in Prenzlauer Berg with my family. We ordered two potato croquettes and two fried pizzas, the portions are large so you can share. Neapolitan pizzas are the best in Berlin, in these 10 years I have tried many pizzerias, but none are of the level of those in Malafemmena. Our choice was the Margherita, the Margherita with provola and black pepper and a broccoli and mushrooms. The waitress who took care of our table was kind, fast and always smiling (lunch shift). Normal prices considering that the ingredients used are all Italian. The excellent espresso. We will definitely be back.

I loved this place once, but after ordering the last Pizza I couldn’t stop laughing. The Pizza was so small I just got to use a ruler to check the size. I think it was the smallest pizza I ever ate and paying 16€ for Neapolitan Pizza you definitely expect something different.

Super tasty Neopolitan pizza and very nice service. Plus, the food arrives within 10-15 minutes.

We had high expectations of this pizzeria, given the prices, but we were not satisfied: the pizza, although not bad looking, had a flaccid dough, with the edges not at all crunchy. We took a fried pasta as an aperitif but its lack of taste left us stunned. It was probably the wrong evening, upon arrival it was full and they warned us that the pizza chef was alone and that the service could be slow. Inside the atmosphere didn't seem bad, we ate at the outside tables due to the crowd.
