Mal Al Sham in Solingen

This was our second time there for Christmas brunch on Christmas Eve. The service was excellent. The buffet selection was large and varied. The staff was very friendly. We had a vegan with us, and they prepared something special for him in the kitchen. All in all, a great place, great service, and delicious food. Well worth a visit.

I ordered a doner kebab plate and a pizza. The pizza was very soggy and extremely salty. The doner kebab plate seemed to consist of leftover meat from the spit, and the rest was equally disappointing. The food was completely inedible. This will definitely be my last order from there.

I'm thrilled! You sit comfortably in a relatively small but nice dining room, and you're offered a very good menu with many Bergisches Land delicacies. They also offer a lot of home-style cooking. What I particularly liked and enjoyed about the drinks was the 1-liter carafe of water from the Solingen reservoir, with lemon and herbs. It's definitely worth recommending. The food was excellent (liver sausage with fried egg and onions). The fried potatoes were delicious and crispy. I'd also like to mention the very, very friendly waiter. The Haus Rüden truly deserves my 5 stars, and I will be back.

The price-performance ratio is good. There are many different saunas to choose from. The steam infusion rituals take some getting used to. The restaurant is okay. The staff is friendly.
