Hatten Argentinisches Rumpsteak mit Pommes und Salat. Alles sehr gut und reichlich Steak medium - auf den Punkt. Kräuterbutter hausgemacht viel und sehr lecker. Pommes knusprig - optimal. Salat sehr gut und eine aussergewöhnliche gute Salatsauce.

Obwohl nur gut ein halbes Dutzend Tische besetzt waren haben wir mehr als eine Stunde auf unser Essen gewartet. Beim ersten Mal nachfragen sagte man uns Essen käme gleich, dann wollte uns die Bedienung schon Kaffee und Dessert bringen. Als wir nach mehr als einer Stunde bei der Chefin nachfragten, wurde uns gesagt man habe vergessen die Bestellung an die Küche zu geben. Nochmals warten wollten wir nicht, deshalb sind wir dann gegangen. Immerhin wurden uns die Getränke erlassen. Ambiente ist an sich sehr schön. Essen können wir leider nicht bewerten, da wir nichts erhalten haben. Die Kellnerin war auch zu unserem Hund sehr nett, nur hat auch sie obwohl es sehr ruhig war nicht benerkt, dass sie die Bestellung nicht weiter gegeben hat. Nach dieser Erfahrung werden wir das Lokal definitiv nicht mehr aufsuchen.

Wir haben mit der Familie am Sonntag einen 86. Geburtstag 🎉bei euch gefeiert mit Mittagessen und später dann Kaffee und Kuchen 🎂den wir selbst mitbringen durften. Vielen Danke an das ganze Team vom Service und der Küche. Das Essen war super lecker der Service sehr nett. Das Menü hatten wir mit dem Koch besprochen der uns sehr gut beraten hat. Es war ein unvergesslicher Tag und wir freuen uns auf ein Wiedersehen im Maison au Lac. Beste Grüße

Sehr schönes Ambiente. Wir hatten die Taufe von unserer Tochter dort gefeiert,ich muss sagen toller Service,man brauchte sich um nichts zu kümmern und das Essen ist sehr lecker. Bei der nächsten Taufe kommen wir definitiv wieder

Ein schöner Ort für eine Tasse Kaffee nach einem Spaziergang um den Stausee. Es ist eines der besseren Restaurants in der Region, aber ich habe dort nicht gegessen.

Essen gut, schönes Ambiente aber die Mitarbeiterin/ Geschäftsführerin mit dem Tattoowierer auf dem Arm war unfassbar unhöflich. Da uns das Essen so spät gebracht wurde konnten wir erst Dessert zu Ladenschluss bestellen und die gesagt Mitarbeiterin hat ihren gesamten Frust an uns tausgelassen weil sie schlecht geplant hatte

Tolles Ambiente, zuvorkommender Service, leckeres und qualitativ hochwertiges Essen. Wir haben mit der Familie meinen 60. Geburtstag gefeiert und kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Jahr nachdem wir uns als Familie bewusst entschieden hatten, dieses Restaurant nicht mehr zu besuchen, haben wir uns erneut dafür entschieden – hauptsächlich, weil andere Restaurants ausgebucht waren und hier noch Plätze frei waren. Leider wurden unsere negativen Erfahrungen direkt beim Empfang bestätigt. Die blonde Bedienung sprach uns laut mit unserem Nachnamen an und fragte vor anderen Gästen, ob wir diejenigen seien, die vor einigen Tagen reserviert hatten, aber nicht erschienen sind. Das empfanden wir als äußerst unangenehm und unprofessionell – zum einen wegen fehlender Diskretion (Datenschutz), zum anderen wegen offensichtlich mangelhafter interner Kommunikation, da die Reservierung bereits storniert worden war. Ergänzend möchten wir erwähnen, dass dies kein Einzelfall war: Bereits vor etwa einem Jahr kam es zu mehreren Vorfällen mit derselben Mitarbeiterin, bei denen sie uns als sehr unsympathisch aufgefallen ist. Ihre gesamte Kommunikation – sowohl verbal als auch nonverbal – war aus unserer Sicht äußerst schwach (Gesamtkommunikation = 0). Im weiteren Verlauf fiel uns auf, dass beim Oster-Menü keinerlei Änderungen an den Beilagen möglich waren – zumindest wurde uns das so mitgeteilt. Am Nebentisch hingegen schien dies problemlos zu funktionieren, was für uns nicht nachvollziehbar war. Die gesamte Atmosphäre wurde stark durch das Verhalten dieser Mitarbeiterin beeinflusst. Es herrschte eine spürbar angespannte Stimmung, und man hatte den Eindruck, dass auch andere Mitarbeiter in ihrer Nähe unter Druck standen. Besonders unangenehm war zudem, dass kurz vor Schließung mehrfach laut durch den Raum gerufen wurde, wie viel Zeit noch verbleibt („noch 30 Minuten“, „noch 15 Minuten“). Dadurch fühlten wir uns als Gäste eher unter Zeitdruck gesetzt als willkommen. Insgesamt hat uns dieser Besuch erneut bestätigt, dass wir dieses Restaurant in Zukunft nicht mehr besuchen werden. Schade, denn ein angenehmes Gastronomieerlebnis lebt vor allem von Service und Atmosphäre – beides war hier leider nicht gegeben.

Wir waren auf einem Geburtstag eingeladen. Der Service war sehr freundlich, dass Essen in Ordnung nur etwas wenig. Aber die Chefin war sehr frech und unprofessionell.

Die Qualität des Essens war spitze, der Aperitif allerdings ausbaufähig. Die Abfolge der Speisen ging mir persönlich zu schnell. Da hätte ich mir etwas mehr Gemütlichkeit gewünscht. Ansonsten war alles tip top und der Service aufmerksam und sehr freundlich.

Sehr schönes und grosses Lokal leicht über dem Stausee Losheim mit schöner Garten-Wirtschaft. Das Personal ist äusserst freundlich, sehr aufmerksam umd trotzdem nicht aufdringlich und das Essen war schlicht ein Traum 😋 Der etwas gehobene Preis ist durchaus gerechtfertigt. Gerne kommen wir bei besserem Wetter wieder! 😉👍🏻

Ein wunderschöner Abend bei euch

Püree gegen Nudeln zu tauschen war nicht möglich.

Das Restaurant Maison au lac ist schön am Losheimer Stausee gelegen. Das Ambiente ist schön und modern eingerichtet. Die Karte bietet eine gute Auswahl. Mir hat es sehr gut geschmeckt, das essen war fein abgestimmt, heiß und ausreichend viel, so dass ich auch satt wurde. Für einen Nachtisch, die Marillenknödel war noch platz, auch die waren sehr lecker. Der Service war freundlich und aufmerksam. Leider wurde mein wunsch die Beilage zu tauschen, nicht akzeptiert. Obwohl es Nudeln zu anderen Gerichten gibt. Das könnte man verbessern. Ich komme aber gerne wieder, da meines erachtens Preis / Leistung stimmt.

Wir waren zum ersten Weihnachtstag im Maison au lac, es gab ein Büffet, die Teller waren eiskalt und von den verschiedenen Gerichten zur Vorspeise waren, obwohl wir um 12h reserviert und vor Ort waren, alle Vorspeisen leer, nachgefüllt wurde nicht. Ebenso erging es uns mit den Hauptspeisen, ausser Kartoffel Gratin und Medaillons, wurde auch nicht nachgefüllt. Ein unglückliches Management sowie überforderte Mitarbeiter rundeten diesen überteuerten Besuch ab. Nie wieder!

Wir waren heute zum 1. Mal hier. Ein super tolles Restaurant mit erstklassigen Speisen. Hier stimmt alles, wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.

Wir hatten einen wunderbaren Abend in diesem Restaurant! Anfangs gab es ein kleines Missverständnis – die erste Bedienung meinte, wir könnten nicht platziert werden, obwohl es erst 20:30 Uhr war. Zum Glück klärte eine andere, sehr freundliche Bedienung das Problem und fand einen Tisch für uns. Danach lief alles reibungslos: Der Service war aufmerksam, das Essen kam schnell und war köstlich und hervorragend zubereitet. Alles in allem ein fantastischer Fund! Ich kann dieses Restaurant wärmstens empfehlen.

Ein Restaurant, wo Service und Essen passen, wir gehen sehr gerne hier her. Leider wurde nebenan der große Raum zurück gebaut (Hochzeit) und das Qietschen von geschobenen Tischen ging mir durch Mark und Bein.

I celebrated my birthday at Maison au Lac. My guests were all very happy with the fantastic food. Everyone was able to choose what they liked from the smaller menu that was put together for us. There was something for everyone. The chanterelle soup as a starter was also delicious. So was the dessert. Very good wines! The ambiance is very cozy. I would happily recommend the restaurant. Many thanks again to the entire team!

It's certainly an advantage to be appropriately dressed. But if you're not, it's perfectly sufficient to order with the pompous air of business administration. See, it's not clothes, but words that make the man! The closer you get to the Moselle, the more elitist it becomes! The dry and overly acidic Riesling definitely wasn't from there. It's sometimes shocking how socially oriented people come in. You should avoid these places because the jam-like effect is missing, or they only pretend to be satisfied because they've just eaten! Even if the regular schnitzel tasted good, some people are left wondering: was that all there is, or is there more? The operators should ask themselves this question, too. Best regards. P.S.: At events with 200 meals a day, this is certainly a bit easier to take.

Unfortunately, disappointing. No dessert menu and no welcome from the kitchen.

We went there four times on a whim. We were turned away each time because everything was reserved. We weren't even offered a seat inside for two people, even if the weather was nice! The waiters, although there weren't many people there, were short-tempered and seemed rather dismissive! That was my last visit!!!

A restaurant that appears to be of high quality. A well-organized menu with appealing dishes. Unfortunately, there's no information about the portion sizes of the steaks, which would be appropriate at these prices. The ratio of meat to the spicy pesto marinade was too uneven for me, which meant the meat's flavor wasn't sufficiently expressed. Furthermore, the question of how well it was done was overlooked, and my meat was cooked through. The wagyu steaks were too bland for me, but otherwise okay. The price-performance ratio for the dessert was a bit off; you'd expect prices like those at a good ice cream parlor, for a beautifully presented ice cream from a carton.

We were just about to have lunch with our family (including our hungry little children). The waitress was totally unfriendly and wouldn't bring us the menu before 11:45 AM, even though the website states: open from 11:00 AM

A beautifully situated restaurant on Lake Losheim, serving traditional, home-style cooking. The grass-fed pork chop and New Zealand rump steak were of high quality and cooked to perfection. The rösti were crispy and juicy on the inside, while the potato wedges were a bit floury and dry. The breaded scampi had a good consistency and flavor, though you couldn't taste any coconut. The young temporary wait staff were friendly and very attentive.

Hello! I was there for the first time today. Friendly staff, great atmosphere. I had a salad with goat cheese slices for 18.50. For a salad in this price range, I can expect more than just one kind of lettuce and not enough dressing. It was tasty. I ordered another sauce, and unfortunately, it was a different one. I was annoyed. I was looking forward to a great meal.

The food itself was OK, but the service was simply a disaster. We had a mosquito in our salad and unfortunately, we couldn't get any more.

We chose the Maison au Lac as our wedding venue and would do it again in a heartbeat. The organization both before and on the day itself was perfect. We had 109 guests, and despite the extreme heat, the entire team did a fantastic job. Our guests were always provided with cold drinks. The food was an 11/10 ☺️☺️ A huge compliment to Mr. Bohr and his entire team, as well as Mr. Wegener and the entire kitchen team.

We had a reservation for 7:30 p.m. and were unfortunately a bit late. At 7:40 p.m., our request for dinner was declined, even though the website says the kitchen is open until 9 p.m. "The colleague who took the reservation didn't know the kitchen was closing early today." I didn't hear a polite apology. I won't try again. No thanks!

Very nice, and the food was very good, and the service courteous

We visited Maison au Lac for the first time and were absolutely thrilled. The food was incredibly delicious; we both had the pork medallions with pepper sauce. The meat was incredibly tender, and the white pepper sauce was delicious. The service was also excellent. We felt completely at home and would gladly return.

We ate there on Easter Sunday evening and were thrilled. The service was friendly and professional, the food was excellent, and the prices were exceptionally reasonable...Dogs are welcome, which is very important to us!

We had a super delicious main course here last night. Namely, asparagus with pike-perch fillet and potatoes. What a delicious combination. This meal was accompanied by a nice white wine (Grauburgunder) and made it complete. The service and the staff were also completely fine. Nice restaurant!

We ordered a Asparagus soupe but unfortunately the taste wasn't at all asparagus and there wasn't any asparagus peaces in the soupe either. After telling this to the waiter the poor answer from him was. THAT’S A MATTER OF APPRECIATION OF TAST and he went off. Very rough person. I will not suggest this restaurant to any one.

Two weeks ago we had a celebration with 50 guests at Maison au lac. We are thrilled. Starting with the appointment, menu advice and the celebration itself, we are very satisfied and can only recommend the house. If the weather was good, the celebration began with a champagne reception on the terrace in front of the beautiful lake backdrop. The ambience of the guest room, table decorations and the buffet structure were inviting. The buffet with starter, main course and dessert was excellent in terms of taste. The friendly service staff were always on hand. Our guests were full of praise. The Maison au lac has won new guests with a convincing performance.

Nice location near the lake. Nice and attentive service. In my opinion, the menu could offer more choice, especially for starters and desserts. There was also a small season ticket. Food was fresh and tasty. Portion was good. Prices are ok overall, but an additional portion of fried potatoes costs a whopping €7.50. - It is also unusual that drinks are marked on a copied piece of paper at the table. All in all, worth recommending.

I was there today with a customer of mine. We were greeted and served in a very friendly manner by the staff, both of whom were very friendly. The food was very good, everything tasted perfect. I can only recommend it. I'll definitely be back.

The restaurant impresses with a stylish atmosphere, friendly service and a menu that focuses heavily on meat and fish dishes. The quality of the food is solid, and anyone who loves classic dishes with animal products will definitely find what they are looking for here. Regular guests seem to like the meat and fish dishes - but for those who want to eat vegetarian or even vegan, there is little choice. There is exactly one vegetarian or vegan dish. At a time when more and more people are consciously eating plant-based or flexitarian foods, it would be nice to see a little more contemporary variety on the menu. It's a shame, because the cuisine has potential and with a few additional creative dishes the restaurant could appeal to an even broader target group. However, it remains a solid choice for meat and fish lovers.

We had a small dinner there after our civil wedding. The arrangements made in advance worked well, the food was very tasty and the service was very attentive. We can only recommend the restaurant :)

Modern but still comfortably furnished, which is not least due to the loving wooden details. There is no need to make a reservation in the evenings during the week, but I recommend doing so on the weekends. The service staff are attentive but not pushy, so you can eat in peace without having to wait a minute if you have any further requests. My portion of pike-perch in a potato coating was a bit too small for me personally, but a delicious ice cream as dessert closed this “gap” ;) In summer you can also sit wonderfully on the outdoor terrace, which gives you a great view of Lake Losheim. Full marks thanks to the perfect price/performance ratio!

Kleine aber fein abgestimmte Karte. Preislich dem Ambiente passend. Die Empfehlung des Hauses "Saibling" war perfekt zubereitet und abgeschmeckt. Nette, hilfsbereite Bedienung und kommen daher gerne wieder.

We are thrilled! What surprised me most was how quick it was to prepare (under 20 minutes) and yet the quality of the steak and side dishes was great. Beautifully prepared, not just the plates but the entire interior (not so chic from the outside). The atmosphere was TOP and so was the staff: friendly, quick, no careless mistakes. All in all, highly recommended! The price level is of course corresponding: no snapper but also no usury.

We had reserved a table for 4 people. When we arrived there was a closed party there (wedding) We were invited in anyway and taken to a table that was in the same room as the wedding party. We didn't feel comfortable at all. Very reduced card. We then decided not to stay there. The waiter understood this and gave us a ticket for the barrier without any problems. It would have been better if we had been told that a wedding was being celebrated there and then we wouldn't have gone there at all. But the staff was very nice and understood us. We will definitely go there again...

Very nice restaurant with good food and very nice staff. Access and free parking directly in front of the restaurant, access through a barrier, free parking for purchases of 15 euros or more. Terrace very well maintained with shaded and sunny areas. Toilet facility also very clean and nice.

Six cocktails were consumed - we would have liked to treat our toddler to a little ice cream, but unfortunately that wasn't possible ("ice cream is only available in the evening" - pretty pointless). The desire, We were denied the opportunity to buy ice cream in the neighboring kiosk in such an unfriendly manner that we were at a loss for words: "No, that wouldn't be possible or only if the (small!) child stayed outside." Service/friendliness - 0.0 WITHOUT WORDS

The worst food we have ever eaten. The children's meal consisted of frozen food. The turkey strips and the herb dip as well as the salad were inedible. Even though I said that the food didn't taste good, the only answer I got was that tastes are different. It's a shame, that's not how you treat guests.

We were there to celebrate my grandma's birthday. The ambience and service were absolutely top. However, there is a star deduction for the food. For the price I have to say, I expected a little more. It tasted good, no doubt about it, but I've also had the same quality for significantly less money. In addition, the portions of some dishes leave a lot to be desired. In summary I would say, very nice restaurant with very good service and if you don't mind paying a little more, it is a very good address.

Das Wetter ist gut und somit wollten wir auch draußen sitzen und den Blick auf den See genießen. Schnell haben wir einen Platz bekommen und die Karte hatte vieles zu bieten. Ein Gruß aus der Küche und die Getränke sind zügig gekommen. Leider war das Huhn aus und wir sind dann auf Argentinische Rind umgestiegen. Das Fleisch war gut und auf den Punk gegrillt. Leider war die Anrichtung nicht sehr ansprechend. Ein Stück Rind (Rumpsteak) und Salt kann man besser anrichten. Auch beim Salat hätte ich etwas mehr erwartet. Auch der Service für Getränke könnte flüssiger sein. Also es ist noch Luft nach oben.

Positiv das wirklich gute Essen. Negativ offensichtlich unterschiedlich eingestufte Gäste, vorrangig zu bedienende häufige Gäste und zu vernachlässigende neue. Auch Auskehrmentalität ab 20:00 samstags, keine Bestellmöglichkeit eines regulären Desserts ab 20:20. Stattdessen Eiskarte auf den Tisch geschmissen. Haben wohl keinen Bedarf an neuen Gästen, schade eigentlich. Und noch was, in jeder Pizzeria gibt es zumindest Oliven und Baguette als Gruß aus der Küche. Bei dem höheren Küchenanspruch sollten die Gäste sich nicht das trockene Baguette der einzigen Vorspeise am Tisch teilen müssen!

The food was again very good. But we didn't finish at 2 p.m. sharp. The lights were turned off, the music was turned off and the waiter stood there in his jacket... We couldn't even finish our drinks. We found that very rude, not to mention annoying!!! A pity...

We were in this beautifully decorated restaurant last night! The food was great, the service was very friendly! From the A little more expensive in terms of price… There's something for everyone on the menu! We ate steak and burgers, the taste was great and the dessert is also highly recommended! We'd love to come back
