We went to the Maisen restaurant and had duck – simply outstanding! The meat was tender, perfectly prepared, and tasted truly amazing. The staff was also extremely friendly and attentive, which made the visit particularly pleasant. The ambiance is very nice and cozy, ideal for relaxing and enjoying yourself. Definitely recommended – we'd love to come back! The only minor drawback is the noise level. When it's full, it's very loud. We had a wonderful birthday evening with a large group at MAISEN. The service was absolutely lovely, attentive, and sweet! The ambiance is also wonderful! The food was so delicious, and there was a large vegetarian selection. We tried our own dishes and everything tasted absolutely amazing! I'd love to eat here again so I can enjoy the whole menu. I ordered a salmon bowl and was very disappointed. The salmon was raw and the rest of the ingredients, including the rice, were ice cold. When I asked, I was told that the bowl was served lukewarm. Unfortunately, there's no mention of this on the menu. Very disappointing!!!

Maisen? A bad joke from a delivery service. I ordered food, waited patiently – and waited for over an hour and a half! And then what happens? They simply cancel the order. After over 90 minutes. Without any information. Without an apology. Without anything. Are you serious?! I was hungry, wasted time and money, and the only thing I got in the end was a big middle finger in the form of a cancellation. That's not just unprofessional – it's simply disrespectful. How can you run a delivery service and treat customers like this? I'm incredibly disappointed and really angry. If only you had canceled earlier – but no, you make me wait and then completely screw it up. Never again. Maisen is completely out of the question for me. If you want to avoid hassle, hunger, and frustration: Stay well away from this place.

The service was really great. I ordered by phone and tried the menu once. Unfortunately, I wasn't 100% convinced of the quality because I had a bit too many ingredients. It was a good taste experience, but I couldn't always taste the individual types of fish.

Service was friendly and competent. They were able to explain the dishes and were attentive. The ambiance is Asian. A bit kitschy, a bit cramped, but clean and well-maintained. Unfortunately, it can be very noisy at times. The open kitchen is good. Food: The sushi is okay, fresh and tasty, well-executed and presented, but not necessarily Japanese. Fish quality: Good. The same applies to the other Japanese dishes, which are more Japanese-inspired. I don't think they use authentic Japanese products. But they are still delicious. The Vietnamese dishes, on the other hand, are very good; according to my companion, they are authentic and also very tasty. The iced teas are also delicious and recommended. Price: Upscale. Portions of the main courses could be a bit larger for the price. Overall, a good Asian fusion restaurant where you can spend a good evening. You can definitely come back.

I've walked past this restaurant a few times and wondered how good the food was there. I was now able to take advantage of the opportunity and eat there. Sushi is very tasty and it is served on a small wooden boat. You will definitely be full.

Super tasty sushi, super delicious avocado salad, good pho - absolute recommendation! Perfect before or after going to the cinema. Reservations are not absolutely necessary, but probably recommended during peak times. We were lucky.

Edit: no more problems now, everything is great! Difficult! The food is delicious, the service is very friendly. Unfortunately everything is very chaotic since it only recently opened. Normally you can overlook it, but I've never experienced such chaos. If you want to eat delicious food, it's best to go during the week and not at peak times. Then it's great. But if more than 4 tables are occupied, chaos begins. But giving such a delicious restaurant a bad rating in advance is by no means justified or beneficial for the future. In a few weeks and by hiring an experienced service person, the problem is solved.

The restaurant is located quite centrally in Godesberg and is easily accessible. There is plenty of space inside and it is pleasantly furnished. The service was friendly, but apparently a bit overwhelmed because, even though we were there quite early on a weekday, we had to wait a long time to place our order. After the dishes had been brought, we were asked about any further requests (e.g. drinks or dessert). We also had to go to the counter to pay because none of the waitresses ever came back to the table. The smell of food and the smoke-filled air throughout the restaurant were disturbing. We still enjoyed the food and the price was reasonable.

I can only agree with the many positive reviews! Extremely friendly service serves very delicious dishes. We have tried about 15% of the dishes on the menu so far and have not been disappointed once. Quite the opposite. All dishes were very tasty and tailored to European palates. Absolutely well-balanced spiciness for European palates. There are no unnecessary thickeners used in the sauces. We will try the remaining 85% in the near future and are really looking forward to it! A great restaurant that raises the standard in Bad Godesberg.

Die Toffu-Pho Suppe ist sauber zubereitet mit verschiedenen frischen Gemüse und Champion . Ich kann nur sagen , es loht sich sehr hier zu essen . Der Service ist schön und freundlich 🤩. Ambiete ist auch gemütlich und angenehm.

Unsere Tochter hat das Restaurant für uns entdeckt und was soll ich sagen?… wir sind total begeistert. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und gut gelaunt. Die Speisekarte lässt keine Wünsche offen. Gerade die Auswahl der verschiedenen Sushigerichte ist immens, selten haben wir so gutes Sushi gegessen. Ich möchte Ihnen von einem ganz besonderen Restaurantbesuch berichten, bei dem ich ein außergewöhnliches Entengericht genießen durfte. Das Restaurant, das ich Ihnen wärmstens empfehlen möchte, ist ein wahrer Genuss-Tempel. Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants wurden wir von einem eleganten und stilvollen Ambiente empfangen. Die Atmosphäre war warm und einladend, was sofort für eine angenehme Stimmung sorgte. Das freundliche und aufmerksame Personal begrüßte uns herzlich und begleitete uns zu unserem Tisch. Nun zum Highlight des Abends - "Duck on Fire!" Der erste Biss war einfach himmlisch! Die Entenbrust war perfekt gegart, zart und saftig. Die soße harmonierte perfekt mit dem Geschmack des zarten Fleisches. Begleitet wurde das Gericht von einer Auswahl an frischem asiatischem Gemüse, Kim Chi (leicht „entschärft“ für normal Sterbliche), und schwarzen Reis mit Füllung (außergewöhnlich und sehr lecker). Neben dem fantastischen Essen war auch die Präsentation der Gerichte ein Augenschmaus. Jedes Detail wurde liebevoll arrangiert und ansprechend serviert. Es war ein Fest für alle Sinne. Nicht nur das Essen, sondern auch der Service im Restaurant war außergewöhnlich. Das Personal war stets aufmerksam, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Insgesamt war mein Besuch in diesem Restaurant ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Von der Atmosphäre über den Service bis hin zu der exquisiten "Duck on Fire" alles war einfach perfekt. Ich kann dieses Restaurant uneingeschränkt empfehlen und werde definitiv wiederkommen, um weitere kulinarische Köstlichkeiten zu probieren.

Durch Zufall beim Besuch in Bonn dieses Paradies entdeckt. Wir haben in Köln und Düsseldorf so gut, wie jedes Sushi-Restaurant ausprobiert und viele leckere gefunden. Aber Maisen hat ALLE übertroffen. Nicht nur mit Liebe gemacht (s. Bild), sondern auch extrem lecker und so frisch, als hätten sie den Fisch gerade aus dem Wasser geholt. Für jeden Sushi-Fan ein MUSS!!!

Tolles vietnamesisches Essen!!!! Hohe Qualität, super Geschmack, sehr freundlicher Service, Preis-Leistung…hier stimmt alles!!! Wir hatten einen Mango-Salat, die Suppe Sweet-Sour, Sushi und gegrillte Ente (Duck on fire). Alle Gerichte waren sehr frisch und mega lecker. Absolut empfehlenswert und sehr gerne wieder!!! Maisen is great. A charming local with exceptional service. It is a must to try the house specialties with a twist on some really special and well-known dishes. So close to Bad Godesberg centre and yet the feeling of being in a quiet neighborhood. Summer season is a great time to go when the open terrace is in use. But cozy when things are cool in the fall.

Ich war hier mit meiner Familie zu Mittag essen, der Service war sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend, schnell und hilfsbereit. Das Essen kam sehr schnell und hat allen sehr gut geschmeckt. Jedes Gericht, sowie die Getränke waren ein Volltreffer. Auch die Auswahl an veganen und vegetarischen Gerichten war sehr gut. Zudem war die Musik sehr angenehm, genau wie die Atmosphäre.

Sehr guter Vietnamese mit sehr guter Küche. Ein Abstecher lohnt sich. Das Personal ist mehr als bemüht seine Gäste zu verwöhnen. Jeder Wunsch wird versucht zu erfüllen. Die Speisen sind frisch zubereitet und was ich sehr wichtig finde, ohne Glutamat oder sonstigen Zusatzstoffen. Also liebe Allergiker, eine Adresse die man ansteuern kann. Auch Veganer oder Vegetarier werden hellauf begeistert sein.

Tipp: Dim Sum werden frisch gemacht. Sehr lecker

Update: Es tauchen aktuell sehr viele 5*-Bewertungen wasserfallartig von suspekten Profilen auf, die überhaupt nur dieses Restaurant bewertet haben. Da kann jeder selbst seine Schlüsse ziehen. Ich finde, das ist unlauter. Der erste Besuch im Mai Sen hat uns größtenteils gefallen und wir haben vor allem Klassiker der vietnamesischen Küche bestellt. Vorab: die Frühlingsrollen und die Wan-Tan schmeckten gut und frisch. Noch besser wären zu den Frühlingsrollen Salatblätter und frische Minze gewesen. Als Appetizer aber durchaus eine Wiederholung wert. Im Hauptgang war die vietn. Reisbandnudelsuppe Hanoier Art mit Rindfleisch wunderbar. Chili und Zitrone kamen auf einem separaten Teller zur individuellen Schärfe/Würzung. Das andere Gericht, die Tofu Udon im Wok empfand man als etwas fade, die Süße der Maisen-Sauce ist zumindest Geschmackssache. Hier würde man das nächste mal eher zu einem anderen Gericht greifen. Der Service war durchaus flink und höflich, da gibt es nichts zu bemängeln. Zum Ambiente: Eher gestört hat uns die Lautstärke im gut besuchten Restaurant an einem Donnerstagabend. Da kann man in Sachen Schall und Hall bestimmt was machen. Das Beleuchtungskonzept ist für uns etwas zu grell, jeder Winkel ist maximal ausgeleuchtet. Gemütlichkeit kommt hier vielleicht eher ohne Kunstlicht, im Sommer draußen oder zu ruhigeren Zeiten auf. Gefühlt saßen wir trotz rechtzeitiger Reservierung eher an einem Katzentisch, so dass wir relativ schnell zahlten. Eine echte Speisekarte wäre schön und nicht unbedingt abgegriffene Flyer.

Wir kennen das Restauarnt seit seiner Eröffnung und waren begeistert. Sushi und andere asiatische Gerichte waren prima. In den letzten 6-8 Monaten nahm die Qualität immer weiter ab. Mal waren die Sushi nicht komplett, weil die Zutaten aktuell nicht vorrätig waren (wurde leider nicht bei der Bestellung kommuniziert), mal entsprach die Soße einer dünnen geschmacktlosen Suppe, die sich über den ganzen Teller verteilte. Das Dessert war ein kleines fertig verpacktes einfaches Eis für stolze 6,90€. Vor wenigen Tagen wurde ein Gericht z.B. mit den billigen Fertigröstzwiebeln serviert. Der Salat war aus der Tüte und einfach auf dem Teller neben den pappigen Nudeln serviert (ohne Dressing). Der Service ist ausgesprochen freundlich, das Ambiente schön und das Essen wird leider immer schlechter.
