Really nice restaurant, very tasty food, fresh, friendly and quickly served. I had fried noodles with seafood in a thick sauce. The restaurant is also a feast for the eyes, decorated with many high-quality pictures.

Without delight. You won't go hungry, but there's nothing to admire either. The food is very average, the rolls are made in advance and brought from the refrigerator, which negatively affects the taste. The roast duck (pictured) actually looked more like boiled duck and was covered in a huge amount of sauce. I asked the staff to clear the dishes from the table, they told me that it was not their responsibility, they promised to call our waiter, but they never did. The plates were taken away only after 20 minutes. It's a pity for the money spent - 102 €, I didn't like either the food or the service.

Went here spontaneously this afternoon. We were outside in wonderful weather. The menu is extensive. We decided on 2 dishes from the lunch menu: poke bowl with salmon and tuna and jasmine rice with shrimp. Both were ok but we can't rave about them. The included starter (soup for me, salad for my companion) was nothing special and the soup was only lukewarm. Service was also rather average - at least we didn't feel really warmly welcomed. €7.80 for a bottle of Geroldsteiner water is unbelievable… It's a shame - but we won't be coming back.

Very sunny terrace. Good, friendly service. We ordered tuna rolls and a ramen with duck breast. Unfortunately, the rolls with over-baked breading were overlooked, so you couldn't taste the flavor of the tuna at all. Even with the ramen, the broth was a little too intense. Nevertheless, we really enjoyed the food and will definitely come back :)

We ordered the duck menu at Maiglückchen. This menu includes a Peking soup starter (single price €6.80), duck and a dessert from the chef. Since I don't eat soups, I asked to swap the starter for one of the same price and also suggested swapping it for an extra charge. I was refused this even though I mentioned several times that I wouldn't eat the soup. So my customer request was completely ignored. I don't even want to know what happens if you eat there and have intolerances. The service was unfriendly and the quality was mediocre. The dessert included in the menu was rice pudding with coconut milk and vanilla ice cream. Not a highlight but ok. But wouldn't come back again.

The sushi we had was delicious, service was also fine, however I found it odd that they only have menus in German and if you are not a German speaker, they tell you to search the menu online. At least a QR code would have come in handy.

Fantastic food and very nice service. Unfortunately, the exhaust air in the kitchen was not very efficient and the restaurant smelled extremely of cooking/roasting smells. The air was slightly foggy as a result.

Even just before closing time at 10 p.m. you got a first-class meal. Duck breast fillet with black pepper sauce is super delicious! Top service! Anytime again!😊

Attractive ambience, courteous service and excellent food. We shared several Dim Sum, Asian Tapas and Sushi. Perfect combination to try everything. Vegetarians and vegans are also welcome here and will find many very fine options.

Although the last time I ate at this restaurant was months ago, I could never forget the attitude of the waitress towards my Asian friend. That night I had a terrible meal and felt like I threw my money down the drain. My hatred for this restaurant has grown over time and I am truly sorry that I have been given such negative feelings that even today I cannot shake off or manage. I find the behavior of the waitress and the way she spoke to us that day extremely ridiculous and unacceptable. We were sitting at the table with my friends and talking, until my Asian friend took out a drink he had just bought from a store out of his bag to show us. Immediately the waitress rushed to inform us in an insulting tone that we are not allowed to drink our own soft drinks in the restaurant, even though we had no such intention. We got the impression that all this happened because there was an Asian in our group. Her awful behavior comes to mind and makes me want to cry.

We had dinner with colleagues at maiglückchen. The restaurant is very nicely designed, we had a small separate room with a large round table. I found this very nice because it wasn't so loud and you could have a good conversation. The decoration in the restaurant is subtle but very harmonious. The waitress was very friendly. The starter, the spicy wantan, was very good and could have used a little more salt but that is personal preference. I was disappointed with my main dish of duck Cantonese style, it was very dry and the rice was also very dry. The menu said duck sauce but there was almost none of it. The dessert mochi cake was beautifully prepared and also tasted delicious, but you can also get it in any other Asian restaurant. The service left a lot to be desired. After we got our food, no one came to us for 45 minutes to ask for drinks etc. We first had to go to the waitresses so that someone could come to us. All in all, the service and the poor main course only give it 3 stars.

First of all: I love this restaurant! I have been coming to Maiglückchen on various occasions for years. Be it for my birthday, my sister's bachelorette party, or a cozy meal for two. It's always a wonderful experience! The staff is always friendly, helpful and I have never been treated badly there. I think it's particularly nice that you recognize familiar faces among the staff every time you visit and one waitress in particular has been there since my first visit and that makes me happy. The rooms are very nice and cozy. Whether inside or outside, it is always pleasant to spend time there. For special occasions, you can also request one of the separable side rooms, where you can then enjoy your celebrations in a relaxed atmosphere. Regarding the food, I can only praise how great everything is always prepared. The dishes look beautiful and effort is always made when preparing and decorating the dishes. The food also tastes wonderful! I always thought I didn't like sushi. However, May's lucky day showed me how delicious vegetarian sushi is! The vegetarian sushi platter Ume always tastes delicious and can be varied a little. All in all, I can only heartily recommend Maiglückchen to everyone!

Chinese and Japanese cuisine. Great selection of delicious dim sum for starters. On the waitress's recommendation, I ordered the Rose Garden aperitif - a hit! Feminine and sweet 🥰 The restaurant is located in Hafen City, overlooking the charming Sandtorpark and close to the Elbphilharmonie and a 5-minute walk from the Überseequartier U-Bahn Station. On warm days you can sit outside. Modern decor, there are paintings on the walls by a Polish painter living in Hamburg, Mr. Jerzy Malicki. These paintings can be purchased. I recommend the restaurant, we will certainly return there.

We had the Peking duck menu and the table was a bit too small. If you are in Hamburg, you should definitely visit Maiglückchen. However, I recommend booking a table in advance as it was very busy even on a Wednesday. Always my pleasure.
