I've been going there for years, the food is always very good 👍 A must before every cinema visit...

The food was delicious. The duck was especially crispy. Excellent value for money.

There were lots of large eggshells in my food. When I said something, they just said "it happens sometimes." I didn't get any money back.

This restaurant, which was great last year, has unfortunately gone downhill. They no longer serve ramen or sushi. The food selection is very limited. I was most disappointed with the salad bowl (see picture for comparison with last year's).

My food never arrived, I'm furious! And unfortunately, my companion's food was only so-so. I wouldn't recommend it. On top of that, they only serve Sinalco Cola. Regards, Tim

Serving portions are big. Place is near HBf... Prices are normal too.

I waited forever for the service for the food which was also cold, pointed this out and got it cold again... people even got up and left in some places because it took so long. For my part, I will never go back.

We were shown to our seats and then forgotten. After 15 minutes, no one wanted to take our order.

The menu bore no resemblance, either visually or in terms of content, to the one posted on the website. We found it very unusual that diners in this restaurant are asked to pay immediately after ordering, before anything is served. Guests are treated like potential deadbeats. There was no coffee or cappuccino either. If we hadn't been waiting for someone, we would have left immediately. The food that arrived was cheap, and therefore one's expectations should match the price. But even for fried rice with vegetables for 10 euros, I would have expected more than a dry and carelessly thrown-together pile of rice with sparingly scattered frozen vegetables and egg.

The quality and taste are very good. That's a foregone conclusion. Unfortunately, the friendliness has slipped away over the years. I find it particularly horrible that you now have to pick up the upside-down cutlery from a box yourself. The part that goes into your mouth has most likely been touched several times by other guests with unwashed hands. That's disgusting!

Went there today with my husband. Very good service and tasty food. Large variety of options available from Japanese, Thailand amd Vietnamese cuisine. Recommended!

The food is really delicious, if you can get it. We went there shortly before 9 p.m., and it wasn't busy. After not being served for 30 minutes, we left. Today we ordered food at 9 p.m. According to the app, it was supposed to be delivered at 9:30 p.m., and it was already ready. By 10 p.m., there was still nothing. At 10:01 p.m., we received a message from Wolt that the restaurant had canceled the delivery.

Food was good, that aside But in such a restaurant no know speaks english, so weird. And then when it comes to asking for the bill. On the bill it’s writing how much you have to pay but if you want to pay with card you must pay like 50% more. I couldn’t understand what they say but I didn’t argue and they charged me 50% note than what is was written there. So I believe they cash to escape tax and some fraudulent activity. Anyway I don’t recommend this place to anyone. They have no clue how to be professional.

The food is excellent; the udon noodles were delicious, especially the chicken and duck. The food there is of really good quality and delicious. The staff is mostly friendly. The decor is very typical and beautiful Asian, which we really liked. There are now also tables for outdoor dining.

I picked up the food and ate it at home. The food was okay—nothing more. For the price, you can definitely find better noodles and crispy duck!

Fast food restaurant for Asian food.

The food was cold and I returned it three times. The service was bad. The vegetables were frozen, the noodles were mushy and not cooked properly. I had to gag. I've never eaten anything so bad before. I absolutely do not recommend this place. I am really, really disappointed.

Fast service, nice dishes, food is served hot :) staff doesn't speak a whole lot of English and we don't speak a whole lot of German but we managed to order just fine by pointing at things from the menu. I love how they have chili oil and seasonings on the table so you can spice it up even more. Seasonal things are good too, we had the mango lassi and it was so fresh! Restaurant ambiance is awesome! However, it is in an alley that is frequented by a couple of homeless folks though. Doesn't bother us but being eyed and followed around and pressed for cash right after you exit might not be for everyone so do be careful when wandering around Freiburg.

Mega rude service, sauce was completely forgotten in one box and not enough was put in the second box

Can recommend fried rice with chicken, fried rice noodles with tofu and vegan ramen with tofu. Lots of both vegan versions and versions with chicken or seafood. Lemonades were also okay (lemon & ginger and green tea & passion fruit). Staff is friendly, but not everyone speaks English very well, so keep it in mind if it's important for you. Atmosphere is okay, little bit noisy and hot, but it's okay.

I was yelled at by the waitress, such unfriendly service, I ordered something and something else was delivered to my table To this store Ching Chang Gong Gang Samsung juice store She spoiled my appetite, took the food with me and gave it away to a beggar. I would never go there again.

I had the soup and the Udon noodles with chicken peanut sauce. Good taste and value for money, friendly staff and cozy vibe in the place. Would definitely come again.

We surprised my sister for her birthday at the restaurant today. The service was an 11/10. Really extremely friendly, they offered to play us a birthday song. Gave us cake on the house with candles. The food came so quickly and people kept asking if everything was OK. Really only recommended! I would love to come back ❤️

Not really recommended. Have eaten there a few times. Prices are okay. But the taste of the food was rather bad. The soup was bitter and bland.

The same menu is 15€ if you eat inside, 5€ if you buy outside. The taste is the same.

An all-round perfect restaurant visit! As soon as we entered we were greeted warmly and shown to our table. The staff was consistently attentive and super nice. Once we decided on our meals, everything went smoothly. The food was excellent and the price-performance ratio was absolutely right. “We were thrilled and can fully recommend the Mai Wok and Muho Restaurant!”

I liked ordering takeaway here at the counter outside. There used to always be an older gentleman in a cap from whom you could only order boiled rice with peanut sauce off the menu. €4 for the large portion was quite decent, but the peanut sauce tasted really delicious. Recently the older gentleman has been no longer there and now purely cooked rice with peanut sauce (i.e. neither fried nor with vegetables) was sold for €5 or next time €5.5. That's actually usury (price increases of almost 38%). When I mentioned the excessive price jump of €1.5 within 2 weeks and was honestly only prepared to pay a maximum of €5, I was treated so rudely that I no longer came back. Too bad! I can't rate the food in the restaurant, only the take-away.

Versatile Asian cuisine in a beautiful atmosphere!

Super friendly, flexible, fast, attentive and very tasty. We, my wife and I, dined as a couple and ate Thai dishes without sushi. We both found it highly recommended.

Ordered sushi to take away for 25 euros. Unfortunately I only looked at it at home. There were some bits of edges in there, something I've never had before with any sushi! Some of them had fallen apart or opened, but it wasn't due to transport. Apart from that, it was very plain and almost amateurishly made. Never this restaurant again. Even Kaufland or Rewe have significantly better sushi. Shame about the money!

Unfortunately, communication with the staff was difficult, there was confusion with food ordering and incorrect food. Instead of insight, people continued to complain that it was our fault! It doesn't work at all! Food was okay, but not outstanding.

The May wok in Freiburg exceeded our expectations. We came across the restaurant by chance and were amazed by the quality of the ramen. I chose the Tonkotsu ramen while my partner also chose a specialty ramen which she thoroughly enjoyed. The flavors were intense and authentic, almost on the same level as the renowned ramen shop in Karlsruhe. Although the restaurant appears inconspicuous, it has a lot of charm. The service was friendly and quick, so we could concentrate fully on our meal. What is particularly worth mentioning is the ambience, which creates a pleasant atmosphere. We are glad that we became aware of this great restaurant through the Google review. It's definitely worth a visit and we look forward to stopping by again on our next visit to Freiburg. I can only recommend the Maiwok.

That was the first time I went to this restaurant. There were pictures of sushi on the website and that's why I thought I'd just get sushi where I could get in and then I sat down all at once. I get cards and there was nothing about sushi, so I decided to get something else. First we got the soup with shrimps. When the food arrived I only found one shrimp in a 5€ mini soup only one shrimp??!!! As if that wasn't bad enough. I order a noodle soup where I tried this. That just tasted like coriander and onion?! I'm leaving, I've left €42 to puke!

Ordered at 7:50 p.m. delivered ice cold watered down and inedible at 9:35 p.m. After a complaint, a refund was refused and a subsequent delivery was insisted on. This took place at 10:30 p.m. After almost 2 hours and 45 minutes after ordering, I was finally able to eat something. Unfortunately, despite being extremely hungry, our appetite was gone. That really tops everything. I've never experienced anything like it. They wanted to return the dessert that was offered to us as an apology along with the cold meal. No trace of apology anymore. When you couldn't give the dessert back because you didn't order it, you had to pay for it. Incredible cheek. Terrible service, unbelievable delivery times and a completely customer-removed manner in dealing with customers. Unfortunately I can't recommend it, although the food would have been ok I won't do it again and can only advise you against it. Food is not delivered in suitable thermal containers but in large plastic boxes from the Swedish furniture store. That says everything about the seriousness and quality awareness and at the same time explains the problem

If you like Thai food, this is the place for you. Red Thai curry is really delicious here. Kind regards to the cook

I got takeaway food. Everything has now been pre-fried and kept warm. Nothing is freshly prepared anymore. I think the noodles taste nothing like they are supposed to be fried noodles. The meat is also very bland in taste. I had to go inside to pay with my bank card. Unfortunately, the smell inside was very unpleasant. It's a shame, the food used to taste really great.

It's a real shame that every curry contains milk. I don't understand at all either. Most Asians are said to be lactose intolerant. Otherwise it tastes pretty good.

One of my favorite restaurants. We love eating there because it tastes delicious and never disappoints. The atmosphere is very pleasant and the service is super nice. I just love it and can recommend it 100%.

Very good drinks and a selection of different things, there is something for everyone

There were four of us there, we ordered four meals and four drinks, at some point the first meal came, but still no drinks, some time later the other two meals came, but still no drinks, so I asked politely, yes it's coming soon, so we wait continue on the drinks and the fourth person on their food, half an hour later asked again, the three of us's food was already cold, started eating what a miracle the drinks are there, but not the food for the fourth person. We just didn't feel like it anymore and wanted to pay, the bill came quickly, but what is charged? Eat four times. We've never had such bad food before. We're not going there anymore. It might be enough for such a quick noodle box, but not for more.

I think it is a great restaurant. Especially the price is very good, I think I will come back next time

Thanks for the food poisoning. My friend and I were here today, first he didn't receive udon noodles as ordered, but completely cold, inferior snack fried noodles from next door and then he had to vomit them 4 hours later. My food also came much later than his. Never. Again.

As a contractor, the task was completed on time. Then the junior made “wishes” (reducing the multi-page print set) that would have made the new creation necessary and set a short-term appointment that could not be kept due to a memorial service. Invoice was not paid.

Never been served so rudely. I ordered a noodle box from Mai Wok to-go. It was given to me without sauce and after I pointed it out to the older lady (Adidas cap, short hair, unfriendly look) she put half a spoonful in for me. I said she should please do more. Then she said stupidly that you only get 1 spoonful of sauce and have to pay extra the second time. Very stingy. I would have paid more on my own initiative but she didn't offer it normally but defiantly added very little more sauce and was very cheeky. Food was dry. Never again.

You should not order takeout food because the restaurant makes mistakes too many times, wraps the food carefully, and the food is temporary

Directly at the Stadttheater tram stop, friendly service, delivery service, takeaway. Delicious dishes, e.g. yellow curry sauce, fresh vegetables, tofu & rice or rice, soy sauce with vegetables, Gai Pad Kratiem chicken €12.90 each (also with duck). Ample portions.

Place is nice, other non-Ramen dishes are great. But I think it’s not supposed to be a Ramen place. Overall Ramen 6/10
