I often come here to eat or order food to pick up and I am very satisfied. Everything tastes very tasty and there is a lot to choose from. Sushi of any kind and the homemade lemonade are an absolute recommendation. The soups are also very tasty. The staff is always very friendly, nice and attentive. The atmosphere in the restaurant is nice, even if it is often full. There are lots of tables outside, which is nice in the summer. BUT! The toilets make the impression a little worse: very unkempt and some of them are simply broken.

The food was very good, although in my opinion the price for the starters was a bit high. The “big soup” I had tasted really good. It's nice that chillies, herbs and lime are served on a separate plate for you to season yourself. Very nice and attentive service. Ambience with pleasantly dim lighting and unusual glass decorations. Definitely recommended.

Food was delicious, but far too little rice. Food wasn't hot. We asked for some more rice. Afterwards we saw that an extra 3.50 euros (without prior notice) was charged for a tiny bowl. That's really bold. Too bad.

I spontaneously stopped in for lunch at the beginning of November. The restaurant is nicely decorated, unfortunately it was quite cold inside, so I had to keep my winter jacket on to avoid freezing. The Thai curry was very tasty and the price was acceptable. The service was very attentive.

Absolute disappointment. Watery sauce with no taste. Glass noodles limp. We wanted classic spring rolls. Service is terrible. Absolutely not solution-oriented. Every €2 instant noodle is better. Vegetables not cooked through. Never again! We don't need to talk about the price.

Excellent food. At the beginning I was skeptical about the pricing; after reading it, I found it to be too high. Since all the dishes have been prepared in-house, to a high quality and in large quantities, the price/performance ratio is right. The service is sufficient and could do more for its customers.

The stylish furnishings and soft lighting create a relaxed atmosphere, ideal for dinner with friends or a romantic date. Service: The service was outstanding! The staff was extremely friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable about the menu. The waiter's recommendations were gold, and he took the time to make sure all of our needs were met. Eat: And now to the most important thing – the sushi! The quality of the ingredients was outstanding. Every piece was fresh, artfully prepared and full of flavor. The maki rolls with avocado and salmon are particularly recommended – a taste experience in a class of its own! The sashimi platter was also a real delicacy, featuring a variety of fresh fish. The selection of vegetarian options was also impressive, so there is something to suit every taste. Prices: The prices are absolutely reasonable for the quality and portion sizes. You can tell that emphasis is placed on high-quality ingredients here, and that makes every bite an experience. Conclusion: A must for all sushi lovers and those who want to become one. Nice food, environment and excellent service. The place is super clean and offers balanced plates of sushi, fish, meat and vegan options nicely decorated and with interesting ingredients like kumquat used. The prices are to the expensive side but so is the size of the portions and quality.

I was there with my fiancé for the 3rd time and we are always thrilled🥰 The steak was absolutely delicious and the sushi too. And the staff is really nice and always asks if everything is right. And you have to try the matcha ice cream!!😻😻

I am very disappointed, if you don't like fish, you shouldn't go to Mai Garden, most of the dishes are made with fish. I thought it tasted very good. More variety in the menu would be great, not everyone eats fish.

We were always very satisfied, but the portion sizes have decreased significantly, the sauces are no longer as strong in taste and creamy because a lot of it is diluted with water.. it's a shame..

We really liked the restaurant, it is visually very appealing. Unfortunately the tables in the middle of the room are a bit dark, but things are better outside by the windows. The food really impressed us. The sushi was fresh, tasty and visually appealing.

As always the best sushi in Offenburg! We love Mai Garden - the selection, quality and decoration are TOP! In addition to the Suhsi, there are also delicious soups such as ramen, dimsum, noodle dishes etc. And so far we have NEVER been disappointed :-) The only (small drawback) is the price-performance ratio. There would still be some space down here 😉

The food was good, but for my taste it took some getting used to as there was too much fresh cheese in everything for me. Also not really well explained in the map what it is.

The most delicious dishes in the world, I recommend it to everyone.

First class Top quality at a fair price

Very pleasant restaurant, tasty and quality cuisine.

My rating only refers to the salad with salmon (31). It was extremely dry, nothing special and unfortunately almost 20€ is not justified. However, the others' dishes looked far better and more appealing.

Simply top 👍 Was here for the first time today & certainly not the last time 😉 I would even give it 10 stars!! Finally found a good restaurant ☺️

The food is relatively expensive, the quality is ok. Wine prices are normal.

Perfect, a very good address to know, the prices are a little high but that's okay for the place. many varieties of dishes also dishes for vegetarians, for people who don't necessarily eat Japanese dishes also it's quite nice, especially when you have a big table and not everyone necessarily eats Japanese.

We were in Offenburg again after a long absence and of course had to combine it with a visit to the Mai Garden ;-) and what can you say? We had the Chef's Recommendation and were once again really impressed! Always a pleasure both in terms of the quick service and the quality of the food

They give you a hard time, don't stop here

Delicious food, good but not exceptional, we found Aperol a bit expensive.

The staff were very friendly and the food tasted good. However, the price-performance ratio is slightly higher than other sushi restaurants in Offenburg that I know. One point of criticism is that freshly fried food is cut without gloves, which I observed. That's not particularly appetizing. Nevertheless, I have to say in fairness that the fresh preparation of the food stands out positively. The restaurant itself is clean.

The food is good, but unfortunately the service only seems to notice you once to order. Ordering more drinks or the bill requires a lot of patience and time.

We wanted a mixed sushi platter with fish and vegetarian options for two people. The menu included a plate for 2 people for €60. We ask the waiter, who speaks German poorly, whether everything is made of fish or whether there is also vegetarian sushi. He assured us that it was mixed, with vegetarian options. When the plate arrived it was all fish, not a single sushi was without fish. So I couldn't eat anything. We kindly pointed out to the waiter that we thought it was mixed because he had assured us so. We expected something additional vegetarian on Kolanz or at least not to pay the full price. The waiter just said he couldn't do anything about it now. We have to order new ones additionally. So I didn't eat anything, that was my last visit. It's a shame, we were very happy. The waiter should have at least explained exactly what the plate was made of.

Great selection of different sushi and other Japanese & Vietnamese dishes. You choose the dishes that suit you from a selection. The udon were deliciously seasoned, the noodles were aromatic and well cooked. The price of the dishes was absolutely right, the waitresses were all very friendly and always approachable. It was easy for us to find a place for six people. The restaurant and toilets were very clean.

Excellent Thai. Food was okay. Not super good, but certainly not bad either. In my opinion, the duck was overcooked a bit, but the curry had a good flavour. The tapas were a joke. Then you expect a bit more for €20.

I had the lunch special (beef with noodles). The noodles are really very good and cannot be compared to standard Asian noodle dishes. Unfortunately the beef was a bit dry and lacked seasoning. The atmosphere is inviting and you feel comfortable. At just under €15 the price is completely okay. I can recommend it.

I went to this place because I wanted to eat something sweet and fresh. 🍋 But I ordered something very cruel. The plate was so perfect it was the size of my bag, and all the vegetables were so fresh that I felt depressed the whole time I was eating it!!!!! 🐣hi💫hi💫 Now that the weather is warm, you can enjoy refreshing guava juice and crunchy bunbonambo outside! ! !

I missed the train in Offenburg and "gained" an hour of time at lunchtime. So I ended up in Mai Garden after about a 10 minute walk. A daily menu with 5-6 lunch options, some in 4 variations, is almost too large a selection. Asian and some Japanese dishes are offered. I chose duck with rice and curried vegetables. Very attractively decorated, the dish was brought to the table within a few minutes. Attentive service. Personally, the whole place is too dark for me - even at the window seat. Therefore only 4 stars for the ambience. I found the price-performance ratio to be very good.

Food, service and price-performance are absolutely top. Good quality at a reasonable price. The only detraction is the ambience, as it gets very loud when the guest area is full.

Let me start by saying that the toilets were very neglected. Food Tom kha gai soup even even. The makki set was not tasty. The addition of pickled ginger is amazing. But you won't be satisfied with the addition alone. Very good drinks. The service was nice and helpful. Prices are not commensurate with respect to size and quality.

Went here for dinner today. Unfortunately the service is only behind the counter and in the kitchen. Not attentive at all. The soup was good. Maki was also good and Dan we ordered 2 meals unfortunately only 1 meal came. Unfortunately the vegetables were very hard and also cold. No one responded to the complaint, the full price was charged and we are no longer coming. I hope someone takes this to heart and urgently changes this through training.

The food was very, very average. I love Asian cuisine, at Mai Garden the food is like from the cheapest bar. The toilets are a total disaster. There were traces of blood in the women's toilet 🤢The only thing I can recommend and praise are the drinks and the service... Overall, unfortunately, I do not recommend it.

Absolutely top. Food grade 1+, drinks 1+, service could have been a little quicker or we could have picked up something empty instead of just walking past. Otherwise everything was great! Will definitely come back at some point.

The sushi was okay, the duck was way too fatty. The peanut sauce was not recommended, as was the barbecue sauce, which reminded me a lot of ketchup. When we paid we were asked for a tip, which we didn't give because we weren't very happy. All in all rather disappointing.

Now the best address for sushi in Offenburg. The dishes at Mai Garden are always delicious. Great sushi plates, but also the starters and warm dishes (soups etc.) are highly recommended. If you don't feel like drinking alcohol, you can order one of the refreshing, homemade lemonades. Also very tasty, as is the Vietnamese coffee. The service staff is attentive and quick. When there is a lot going on, the sound level can be a little higher because the tables are relatively close together. For structural reasons, the sanitary facilities are located outside the restaurant. Therefore, these seem to be somewhat neglected, but everything is within reason and the only point of criticism. A clear recommendation for sushi and Asian fans!

I had chosen a beef fillet on the menu number 90, but was given a tough steak with a high fat content that was not edible and had to be cut away. My complaint only received helpless answers like: I didn't write the menu, our meat is always entrecôte, what do you mean by fillet... Only when I refused to eat the tough beast was I offered something else order. No. 70a with grilled chicken was very tasty. We then didn't have to pay for the beef dish.

We have been going to My Garden in Offenburg for several years. We like it better than the one in Freiburg because the service here is simply top 👍 As a vegan you get a lot of choice in Asian cuisine, everything tastes very aromatic and is freshly prepared. Meat and fish are also delicious and recommended 👍 The lunch menu in particular is unbeatable in terms of selection, quality and price. There is only one problem: It sometimes smells a bit unpleasant here - there seems to be something wrong with the sewage system... The tenant should urgently address this!

Everything was good, food, service and the location. The music was too loud for our taste. However, it has to be said that we only ate late after 9 p.m. and as far as I can see there is also a bar. The food was fresh and the sauces were very tasty, the vegetables were crunchy, we had menu numbers 97 and 99 It only took a short time from ordering to serving

We were there on February 14th. there to eat. As recommended by the other reviews, we made reservations, which could easily be done online. When we got there we found out that our table was unfortunately still occupied. But we were able to take another table. The order was taken quickly and the starter + soup arrived after just a few minutes. At first they wanted to bring me the wrong appetizer but mixed it up with the table behind me. The tables aren't particularly big, so we asked the waiter if we could sit at the table next to them because we had ordered a sushi plate. He said that unfortunately it wasn't possible because the table he wanted was already reserved for 4 people. All understandable, there were already people waiting in the entrance area. What surprised me negatively was that 5 minutes later 2 people sat down at the table and not 4 as we were told. Well, that's fine. What bothered us the most was that we had to wait an hour for our sushi plate after the soup. We would have liked to have been informed in the meantime that it would unfortunately take a little longer, for which we would have shown understanding. So we sat in our seats and waited. After 45 minutes the waiter came with two dishes, which we again didn't order. Shortly afterwards we told the staff that we had been waiting a long time for our food. He apologized politely and said it would be ready soon. 10 minutes later the food came. It looked very good and tasted very good. I can't say anything bad about that either. I just wasn't completely satisfied with the service. When it comes to the ambience, I can say that the room looks very nice. Only the tables are a bit small and the music could be a bit quieter. I will probably eat at Mai Garden again. Maybe I just got the wrong day this time...

Terrible quality!!! Never again! We were there with family, at first we waited a long time, I ordered duck with vegetables for myself, but I got two pieces of zucchini, and a piece of pepper and the rest of the hard-fried meat. I asked where are vegetables because the menu says vegetables, the answer was that's what the dish is. What can I say? Terrible service!!! Never!

Dezember: war auf dem Rückweg aus Zürich wieder hier...die Qualität hat sich nicht geändert und ist immer noch mega lecker Original:für mich persönlich das beste Sushi was ich bisher in Deutschland hatte. Frisch, lecker, variabel…ich war nun bereits öfters in Offenburg und fahre für das Sushi auch immer extra von Frankfurt nur zum Abendessen dorthin! Mehr muss ich wohl nicht dazu sagen..:

Huge portions and delicious sushi. It is really good value and is very conveniently located near the station. The portions were very generous so much so we didn't even finish all the chicken. Very big menu so really something for evrryone. The staff made a big effort to help us in English.

Vor etwa einem Jahr war ich hier und habe Ente bestellt. Das Fleisch war trocken und zäh. Unter Entenbrust verstehe ich etwas ganz anderes. Ein paar Wochen später war ich nochmal da; gutwillig habe ich noch einen Versuch mit Ente in einer anderen Zubereitung gemacht. Wieder trocken und zäh! Die Preise für Sushi, die meiner Frau schmeckten, fand ich relativ hoch im Vergleich. Die Bedienung kommunizierte nicht aufmerksam und freundlich. Später war ich einmal da und habe eine Portion vegetarische Sushi to go bestellt, und die Bedienung war wiederum bei dieser Gelegenheit unfreundlich und nicht viel mehr als kurz angebunden. Es gibt in OG gewiss genug Alternativen – ich würde hier nicht gern nochmal zum Essen hingehen.

Ich war allein an einem Donnerstag-Abend da. Ich konnte mir einen Platz aussuchen, ohne reserviert zu haben. Beide Bedienungen waren sehr freundlich. Das Essen war spitze, ich hatte kaum bestellt, schon war es da und schön heiß und vor allem lecker. Hatte einen Cocktail, der war zwar mit 9€ etwas teuer, aber unglaublich gut. Komme gerne wieder.
