Mahlzeit in Gießen

Das Ambiente direkt an Lahn hat uns gefallen, auch wenn es für mich tendenziell zu groß war. Der Service war freundlich. Die Qualität des Essens überzeugte uns nicht. Die schwarzen Bandnudeln mit Garnelen schmeckten fad, der Scampi war komplett verkocht und der Kopf hing beim Servieren schon fast ab. Die hausgemachten Spätzle waren definitiv nicht hausgemacht.

I'm speechless. The food was completely burnt, rock-hard, and seemed old—absolutely inedible. The driver reacted disrespectfully and simply said, "That's your problem." The health department should urgently investigate this. Anyone who still orders food after this review really has only themselves to blame.

I'm rating the high-rise, not the cafe! Because the rooftop cafe is long gone. The building's clientele once feared excess and noise and now scares off guests, restaurateurs, investors, and developers. Bronx, "broken window" example? Creepy.

An absolutely delightful restaurant.

I hope it gets closed. It's a pure noise factory with no discernible added value.
