Edit review Feb 8, 2025: I am very disappointed.!! I tried this restaurant three times at different times. My experience is bad and I don't recommend it. The first time I went there was 10 months ago with a group of friends. We tried the sweets and the juices and the taste was not good and the juices were similar and tasted almost all the same even though we asked for different juices. The third time, about two weeks ago, we tried the chicken dish + Caesar salad. We didn't like the food, the salad wasn't like the Caesar salad we all know, and a plate of salad costs 15 euros.........................................!!!!! You don't understand why?? The presentation of the juices does not correspond to the picture on the menu..

Ate here a few days ago, over the top delicious, very friendly people and a beautiful clean shop. I can only recommend this, I will definitely come back

Anyone who visits this store should know that this store runs on blood. The owners of the franchise Mehmet and Atilla Kanbur are responsible for the deaths of many people in the earthquake on February 6, 2023 in southeast Turkey. Due to their proximity to the Turkish government and Erdogan, neither will be arrested. The properties of these brothers collapsed due to changes in the statics during the earthquake; various reports from professors and experts are available to the court. Every euro spent here goes into these people's pockets.

Unfortunately after 1 hour trip the restaurant is closed for reconstruction which was not announced here!

Was better about a year ago. Food is ok, you can sit relaxed and chat. What I thought was a shame, after dinner we ordered kadayıf as dessert, which was pure disappointment, it was rock hard and probably a few days old.

Disappointed. I ordered a salad. It felt like half of the ingredients were missing (only the fact that there were no pomegranate seeds was mentioned in advance). Instead of breadsticks according to the menu, there were rolls - unfortunately these were old. The salad wasn't even worth half the price. I won't come back again. Even if the card is beautifully presented and the photos look delicious.

For me one of the best "doner kebabs". Although Döner falls short, it is a Turkish restaurant with good food of quality and taste. My favorite. The Spies actually says it all.

Too bad, too bad. I picked up a piece of cake and some rice pudding to take away. Not only was I charged €2 more for the rice pudding than it says on the menu (which I noticed afterwards), and without any extras. The "rice pudding" was also simply baked condensed milk with 5 grains of rice inside, so basically no rice. I had to put rice in it myself to even get something like this. For €6 a disgrace. Since I live in the neighborhood, unfortunately a potential regular customer has left and I don't recommend it. Disappointing.

I mean, to say it's awful would be an understatement, the service is nonexistent anyway, the food is sour, spoiled, the bald person behind the ice cream (sorry, bald brother, I had to waste you, you were the best), tell the young to the child that female customers are not looked at in the eye. The worst branch of Mado I have ever been to. I definitely do not recommend it. If you go, you will regret it. Note ; Be careful with forks and spoons, they may come with lipstick on, but there was lipstick on it that had never even touched water.

It is winter and it feels a bit cold inside. Coffee Mocha was also cold. But the food is delicious, well proportioned and not expensive.

Huge menu, but so far always delicious. You can always discover something new here. Turkish ice cream culture, a lot of Lokum was drunk and eaten here for the first time.

We came with my wife. We ordered chicken with curry sauce and chicken with bulgur. What came as curry sauce chicken was a few chicken cubes sprinkled in curry sauce pasta. The funny thing is that they made it this way after increasing the price of chicken with kori sauce, which they previously served as 2 steaks, by 5 euros. Do you laugh or cry

The manti were not homemade. Lots of yogurt, unfortunately it was tough to chew and I couldn't taste the meat at all. Service was nice but could have been more attentive with only 3 tables occupied. The Köfte plate with eggplant paste was delicious as always.

The waiters are extremely friendly, kind, and polite. The baklava is delicious, and the atmosphere is warm, cozy, and beautiful... I highly recommend😍

Typical low quality huge cash grab Turkish breakfast house just like ( La Femme) mediocre service at best and 5 star hotels prices, just don't bother, it's not worth it.. waste of money..

It is a very nice place that we preferred for breakfast and dinner every day for the 5 days we were in Berlin. I recommend it to everyone. I would especially like to thank the staff and Mr. Mehmet Ali.

Portions are so small and they charge extra money for bread.

Warm breakfast was served with French fries and not at all spiced properly… menmen was watery, and most everything was fried. Not at all like the pictures Also they they didn’t bring butter with the bread. When we asked for some we were charged 2 euros 😅

The great food was only surpassed by the sweet service. Gladly again.♥️

We are at the restaurant now, we ordered ice cream for the children, then we told the waiter that we wanted to cancel. Even though it is not ready, there is no boss, I cannot cancel, the bagels are burnt and the tea is too light. Never again will we be disappointed.

The food is below average. French fries are served in the warm breakfast plate which is totally different from the description. After all, it is a place you got to expect very slow service.

Ice cream is recommended. But changes need to be made in the service area. If you want to eat ice cream on site, just sit at a seat at MADO and when you take away you stand in front of the counter. Prices change whether with service or without. Unfortunately, we were charged for this in the end, even though we actually had ice cream to go, but we sat in the seat on site, which probably included service charges.

The older lady with glasses who took our order was incredibly disrespectful. Even though we wanted our eggs scrambled, he did not bring us the eggs the way we wanted, his speaking tone was as if he was talking to his child rather than a customer, and he turned us down in a way that does not suit a business. While paying, we said that we bought a menu for 2 people and wanted to pay separately, but they took the payment from a single account without our knowledge. When we asked about this situation before, their explanations were not clear. The authorized person, who we thought was the chef of the restaurant, was also there when these events occurred during the payment, but he remained silent about this incident. We never plan to go again, and we don't recommend anyone to go. If you treat every customer like this, your job is difficult.

Great breakfast restaurant, large, bright, delicious. And centrally on U6 Seestrasse.

It was very bad and the desserts were stale, I do not recommend it.

Really good value to money, massive portions - it felt that the breakfast menus could be easily shared for two people even if that wasn’t explicitly mentioned. We will be back to taste desserts as they looked delicious!

The worst store I've ever been to!!!

Rubbish, not good service, a bit of breakfast for 86€ is too expensive, it's not worth it and it doesn't taste good, it's nothing special. In the area you can eat much better cheaper

The ambience was really nice, you can't say anything about that, the food was served relatively late and our food was also cold. You also had to wait a long time for the drinks. Two ladies sitting a table next to us had asked for their coffee and as we walked out we saw that their glasses of coffee were at the counter, but the lady who was supposed to make the coffee was on her cell phone. That's why the service only gets two stars. Only the male waiter gets these two stars from us because he was very nice today, very accommodating and responded to all of our requests, otherwise the service was poor.

Got 3 dessert to go, profiterole, kadayif, and keskül. I was expecting the level of Mado in Turkiye, but it’s all just felt artificial and could not even finish them, and they tried to hire Turkish speaking staff I assume, but they speak only German. And they only accept EC cards, it’s 2024, introduce some payment schemes already come on..

It is very strange that a place like Mado runs out of plain ice cream many times last year and this year. The environment and staff are very good, but I don't understand whether the owners of the workplace have such a preference. It seems ridiculous to me that they say there is no plain ice cream left in the regular cone. When Mado is mentioned, the famous Maraş ice cream comes to mind.

Too expensive for what you get! Really nice here, I think things would go much better if it were a little cheaper. Especially offering a Turkish tea for €3.50 is quite steep.

There is so much variety and especially the breakfast options are lit! The staff is extremely lovely, especially Ms. Çigdem, she was suuper kind and helpful🥰 Definitely will be visiting again! Thank you very much again to Ms. Çiğdem, I will definitely visit again.

Künefe was amazing. Service was excellent. We were there as as family with 2 kids for some desserts and the staff were very accommodating. I would avoid the icecreams next time since i personally did not like them at all.

Really poor service and incompetent wait staff. We were seated by the window while it was left open, people were smoking outdoors which led to the table being engulfed in smoke. Upon asking the waitress to change us to another free table, she agreed and just asked us to wait 2 minutes then gave it to another walk-in customer. Just really incompetent. Food was below average and devoid of much flavour or seasoning. Really don't understand the good reviews.

I went with my friends, we ordered Mado becher and Tropicana juice. It was almost different from what is written in the menu. The Tropicana juice has only lemon taste and there were no coconut taste or ananas taste!! And they bring another juice alternative himberee juice.. it has red appearance but it has also lemon taste only!!!!!! I don't understand how they are doing there food?! The Mado becher was without waffle or small cake! One of my friends saw a hair in her Mado becher!... It was a very bad experience!!

I ordered a tropical smoothie and it was just lemonade!!!! I spoke to the waitress and she confirmed several times that it contains coconut and pineapple, even though I didn't find any taste of it!!!! Then the boss came and said that unfortunately there was no pineapple in the house 😅 Another drink with raspberries was served, but only with lemonade flavor!!!!! 😫 we are 5 people and 3 of us tried this and we all only tasted Lemonade!!!!! In addition, a small hair is found in "reddish passion" 😪 Not recommended at all 😪😪

They don't know the difference between Turkish coffee and Café Mocha. If you complain about it, the employee will yell at you. The cake served is very poor, dry and stale.

Ice cream is very tasty, baklava is not always my taste and last time it had a strange aftertaste. Ambiance is nice, small but nice. Coffee is delicious.

One of the best quality venues in Berlin. Friendly, professional service and delicious food, hot and fresh tea! Honey and clotted cream are especially good, and I won't miss the eggs and sausage. By the way, I was also surprised that there was fenugreek (I think it was Tokat fenugreek, but I'm not sure) in the breakfast plate. The interior design is very stylish and comforting. Nostalgic music was constantly playing inside. We left very satisfied. Thank you so much for everything.

Before going to the cinema we wanted to treat ourselves to something delicious to drink. Nice shop, nice service but the Oreo milkshake was a disappointment. It costs €7.50, but there were only 2 Oreos included in the shake - one in the shake and one for decoration on the shake. I know this because I asked, because you can neither taste the Oreo nor see it in the shake. In the end it was just expensive cocoa. A pity.

We had Sini breakfast for two here, everything was delicious, and the tea was always fresh and hot. Cheese plate and other breakfast products are quite abundant and diverse. The employees are very caring and talented. I recommend everyone to visit Mado with peace of mind for a rich breakfast, always fresh tea and bagels, and delicious coffee.

MADO is a great Turkish restaurant. From delicious breakfasts to warm, delicious meals and delicious desserts, you can indulge yourself here. The atmosphere is great, very well maintained and with attention to detail. The staff is very friendly and very attentive. We felt very comfortable and would love to come back.

Food, service, atmosphere, everything was great. Especially Ms. Çiğdem took care of us in a very warm-hearted way, without ever sparing her smile. The service was very fast, our table was ready within 10 minutes even though we ordered a lot. I definitely recommend it.
