In my opinion the best food you can get in the Bilker Arkaden. Always fresh and delicious!

A really tasty oriental snack in the Arcaden food court. The names of the dishes are pretty unpronounceable, but they are explained very well. I had something new with beef and spinach, along with the saffron rice. Delicious! And really friendly...gladly again.

At Madina it tastes good! Since I first ate there, I've been going there regularly for good food! It tastes really great and the service and prices are great too!

The food is really very good. You should give it 6 stars. Everything prepared in-house and deliciously seasoned. Service is very nice and accommodating. The only drawback, apart from the fast food atmosphere of the food court as such, is that you have to wait longer until the food is ready (mantu, for example, are freshly steamed) and that when the day is already advanced, some dishes are already gone. But it is still fully recommended.

“Madina Taste of Orient” in the Arcaden shopping center is a great restaurant for Afghan cuisine. The prices are affordable and the food tastes like my mother's home. It reminds me of home. It's amazing that this store is in a mall and doesn't have its own restaurant. For anyone looking for delicious and authentic Afghan food, “Madina Taste of Orient” is a must. Here you feel like you are in Afghanistan.

Very nice staff, generous and very tasty! We were there after work and I was able to try an Ayran in a special way. He gave me almost an entire glass just to try for free! It tasted really wonderful with the mint note.

I went on an expert recommendation and picked out the Ashak. And what can I say: really great food. The dumplings are perfectly cooked, the leek filling has a really pleasant umami quality. I didn't think the lenses would fit so well, but they do. The seasoning sauce that goes with it is hot, sour and herbal, my amateur palate could just give it the wrong idea, but it tastes like a chimichuri with even more oomph. There's also yogurt. And yes, as the stand very charmingly explained, they would certainly have tasted better fresh on site than taken home. But I'll definitely come back.

The Qabulie and grilled chicken is simply worst ever, the rice isn't even properly cock also the chicken is not too good, moreover the samosa is also 2/10 overall experience not Good. Not recommended ❌

Afghan cuisine served in a mall eatery. Came for the Qurme hoping it could be a Desi Korma, instead, a shorva-gulasch. The extra spicy sauce added the kick. A variety of textures, tasty food, and a large portion. Definitely worth sampling.

First time try the food Here, taste Like indian food but my friend Has recommended me Here for the Afghanistan food. their Home Made Chili Sauce is so good, fresh and sour pikant, better than the Joghurt Dressing. tandoori Chicken is Tender. Zucchini is also nice. i prefer the charred Version Vege.

While I was waiting, I noticed that all the customers there were served well and in a friendly manner. So, from that point of view, a top recommendation! You then eat in the large central area of ​​the arcades, but the ambience is perfectly fine for an occasion of this kind. Almost even comfortable.

I bought the basmati rice with lentil sauce and had it packed up to take away. Unfortunately the sauce leaked into the bag. The super competent managing director reacted in a very friendly and understanding manner. She had the dish repackaged twice and three times. The initial reaction from management was so authentic and positively surprising that I felt seen and welcomed, which meant I was immediately in a good mood! Apart from that, I also really enjoyed the food - if I lived in Düsseldorf, I would probably eat here all the time! We only got two stars for the ambience, but this cute stand can't do anything about that since it's in a shopping center.

I only ever eat here. The food is homemade, glutamate-free and extremely delicious. The portion (meat) has actually become a bit smaller, but I think that's unfortunately the case everywhere... Definitely recommended. In the photo you can see the mixed plate with saffron rice, vegetables, lentils and chicken for €14 including a drink.

The chatni was amazing! I actually don't like Ashak, but this one was super tasty. And the luxury: I actually only wanted Palau, but I just got Kabulli.

Incredibly great shop. The food was so delicious. Upon request, I received a vegetarian mixed plate made of eggplant, dumplings and flatbread. I didn't manage to do everything, so the incredibly nice waitress packed everything up for me and added more yoghurt and sauce - because I had already eaten that up. Definitely go. Of course, the ambience in the Bilker Arkaden is not the greatest. But the food and the extremely friendly service are so worth it.

I was here in the store yesterday and had dinner with a colleague. I think we had number 5 or 6, chicken breast with rice on the side. What was given out as portions was outrageously small. The plate is made full of rice and cooled 3/4. The last quarter doesn't even come close to being covered in meat Honestly, it was probably 1.5-2 tablespoons of chicken breast. At the end you are asked whether you would like sauce on the rice. So the price-performance ratio is not right in any way, which is why I can only advise against eating here. I wasn't full. But we lost 15-16 euros per portion and drink. But you can get a great menu with dessert somewhere else.

On Rose Monday 2023 we parked in the Bilker Arkaden and ate at Madina after the parade. We remembered it so deliciously and positively that we did it again today, Rose Monday 2024. Service was very friendly and the food was very tasty. We'd love to come back on Rose Monday 2025 :)
