Ein absolutes Highlight! Der Service war unglaublich freundlich und zuvorkommend – man hat sich sofort willkommen gefühlt. Kulinarisch ein Traum: Die Paella war richtig lecker, und besonders erfreulich, dass es auch eine vegane Variante gab, die genauso überzeugend schmeckte. Die Lage auf der Stadtmauer direkt neben der Zugstrecke verleiht dem Restaurant einen besonderen Charme – die vorbeifahrenden Züge sorgen für eine lebendige Atmosphäre. Allerdings kann es dadurch hin und wieder etwas lauter werden, was Gespräche kurz unterbricht. Wer jedoch eine ungewöhnliche, fast schon urbane Kulisse mag, wird das lieben. Alles in allem: absolut empfehlenswert für leckeres Essen, herzlichen Service und eine einzigartige Location!

Ein wunderbarer Ort! Die Sangria ist köstlich. Es ist immer voll, daher kann es sein, dass man etwas auf die Bedienung warten muss.

Absolut keine Beanstandungen! Wir waren von Luz de Mar begeistert und kommen auf jeden Fall wieder. Die Patatas und die Chorizo ​​sollte man sich nicht entgehen lassen – beides war hervorragend. Sangria und Tinto de Verano waren eiskalt und herrlich erfrischend an diesem warmen Julinachmittag. Es wundert mich, dass wir am Samstagmittag die einzigen Gäste dort waren.

Das Gazpacho war köstlich. Dorade und Garnelen in Zitronensauce waren in Ordnung, aber nichts Besonderes. Die Garnelen waren etwas zu lange gekocht. Der Service war gut.

Das Essen war gut. Der Service sehr herzlich. Es ist ein familienfreundliches Restaurant mit mediterraner Küche, sehr nett.

Wer fährt schon nach Deutschland, um spanisch zu essen? WIR! Das Luz De Mar war ein wunderbares Erlebnis: eine interessante Lage, ein aufmerksames Team, köstliche, kalte Sangria und eine himmlische Meeresfrüchte-Paella, die für zwei hungrige Reisende mehr als ausreichend war. Auch der Flan war ein Genuss. In diesem Restaurant geht es weniger um deutsche oder spanische Küche, sondern vielmehr um ein rundum gelungenes kulinarisches Erlebnis mit exzellentem Essen und Trinken. Wir waren absolut begeistert und hoffen, bald wiederzukommen. Schade, dass es dieses Restaurant nicht auch hier in der San Francisco Bay Area gibt.

Das Lokal direkt neben den Bahngleisen war etwas Besonderes. Wir aßen einen leichten Salat mit Avocado und Joghurtsauce sowie eine Meeresfrüchte-Paella für zwei Personen. Das Essen war sehr gut, doch die Rechnung war eine Überraschung. Auf der Speisekarte stand, die Paella koste 20,80 Euro und sei für zwei Personen. Tatsächlich waren aber 20,80 Euro pro Person gemeint. Auch die Sangria sollte laut Karte 5 Euro kosten, berechnet wurden aber inklusive Steuern 8,50 Euro. Insgesamt war die Rechnung deutlich höher als erwartet.

Der leckere Geruch hat uns rein gelockt! Es war eine sehr gute Entscheidung! Ist ein spanisches Restaurant das von einer hauptsächlich spanischen Familie betrieben wird. Hatten als Vorspeise Oliven und besonders lecker gesalzene Paprika! Hauptgericht (Lachs mit Scampi) sowie Dessert. Dazu Riesling und am Ende Espresso. Alles sehr lecker, außer mein Salat als Beilage war sehr „deutsch“ und konnte nicht mit dem spanischen Geschmack mithalten. Wenn der Salat auch noch mehr Peo hätte, wäre es genial gewesen. Ambiente ist nicht ganz so toll, aber das Essen macht es nicht so wichtig! Nur Barzahlung möglich! Würde wieder hingehen!

Dieses Restaurant hat sehr leckeres Essen. Im Außenbereich sitzt man direkt an den Bahngleisen mit Blick auf den Rhein und die rechte Rheinseite. Man kann nur mit Bargeld bezahlen. Meine Tagliatelle con Salomon und meine in Knoblauch eingelegten Garnelen waren sehr lecker. Der Service war gut und das Preis- Leistungsverhältnis passt hier auf jeden Fall. Man kann allerdings nur mit Bargeld bezahlen. Der Eingang liegt etwas versteckt nicht in der Hauptstraße, sondern man gelangt ausschließlich über die Stadtmauer in das Restaurant. Die Paella werden erst ab 2 Personen angeboten.

Ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Ich war montags in Bacharach, daher hatten viele Lokale geschlossen, aber ich bin zufällig auf dieses Restaurant bei Google Maps gestoßen und es klang perfekt. Es hat meine Erwartungen bei Weitem übertroffen. Ein uriges kleines spanisches Restaurant in toller Lage mit fantastischem Essen, an das man noch Tage später denkt. Die Bedienung war freundlich und kompetent und sehr angenehm im Umgang. Schon beim Reinkommen und dem Duft des Restaurants wusste ich, dass das Essen gut sein würde, aber es hat meine Erwartungen wirklich übertroffen. Leider haben wir beide Vorspeisen aufgegessen, bevor wir ans Fotografieren dachten, aber ich habe es geschafft, ein Bild von den Hauptgerichten zu machen, die wirklich bemerkenswert waren. Wunderbare Aromen, großzügige Portionen, spanische Küche von hoher Qualität. Wenn Sie jemals in Bacharach sind, sollten Sie unbedingt hier essen gehen. Sie werden nicht enttäuscht sein. **Hinweis: Kreditkarten werden nicht akzeptiert. Das ist in Deutschland nicht ungewöhnlich, aber ich hatte vergessen, vorher zu fragen und war überrascht. Nehmen Sie Bargeld oder die PayPal-App mit.

ACHTUNG CASH ONLY. Attention, espèces uniquement. Everything was great until it was time to pay. I didn’t know this restaurant was cash only—had I known, I probably wouldn’t have come. The nearest ATM charged me 6 euros in fees, which was frustrating. If you're planning to visit, make sure to bring cash. Most of the other restaurants in the area do accept credit and debit cards.

A thoroughly mediocre to poor restaurant. We had to wait 1.5 hours for our food, and the service also left a lot to be desired – they only responded to direct calls. I ordered a sea bream, which could hardly have been presented worse. The salad I ordered with it was drenched in an extremely acidic dressing. Unfortunately, I can't recommend this restaurant. The other restaurants in town, on the other hand, were really good!

We waited forever, the food was lackluster, it was busy, and according to the waitress, the kitchen couldn't keep up. Unfortunately, this wasn't explained to us until after an hour of waiting. We understand this, but it should have been communicated up front. We wouldn't recommend it here in Bacharach.

Ein sehr nettes echt spanisches Lokal. Toll gelegen auf der Stadtmauer. Sehr freundliche Gastgeber, eine Karte mit Tapas und spanischen Gerichten.Totz der späten Stunde wurden wir nett begrüßt und uns wurde noch Essen a la Carte zubereitet. Das Essen war perfekt, die Bedienung sehr liebenswert und aufmerksam, alles zusammen ein tolles Flair. Es gibt auch eine Außenbereich. Reservierung ist empfehlenswert, es lohnt sich wenn man gut spanisch Essen möchte.

On a quiet, rainy evening in Bacharach, we wandered into Luz de Mar. The service was welcoming and pleasant. We shared Paella and it was really tasty and just about perfectly seasoned. If you’re in the area and need a break from German food, Luz de Mar is a great choice.

On our last day in Bacharach, we contemplated some restaurants to have our dinner. Oh boy, we are glad we dined at this restaurant. The food is excellent, and its service is good. We had seafood paella for sharing. It is the best paella that I ever had. Recommend making a reservation to have dinner here.

This time we came around 8:00 p.m. and the two of us sat down at a free table for four. A short time later we were asked quite briskly to clear the table immediately and sit at a table for two further back. Since it was already quite late in the evening and the restaurant closes at 9:30 p.m., we agreed and promised that if a larger group came at that late hour, we would get there right away. However, this was not accepted, so we ultimately decided to leave due to the lack of customer focus. The small tapas are nice, the outdoor seating right next to the tracks is quite loud as a train passes by about every 10-15 minutes. So you have to like it and accept it, because it can't be avoided there.

Zu guter letzt an den Nachtisch denken,zum dahin schmelzen, sagte eine nette Dame am Nachbar Tisch,sie hatte echt recht. Gerne kommen wir bei einem erneuten Besuch wieder.

These requirements are provoked and unfriendly. We have experienced this several times now. In the meantime you wait a long time for the drinks and the food. It is emphasized that only cash is accepted. The guest is no longer treated courteously. You overlook the guest and make him wait. Organization and communication have potential. In the meantime we are looking for other restaurants. We would like to relax without being patronized.

The Spanish flag on the facade lured us into the city. It is best to park directly on the B9 - the entrance is on/in the city wall. Fast and very polite service - all family right down to the chef. Super tasty - best Spanish/tapas in years, in the region and we mean a radius of 200 km!!!! The train or trains are a mega experience and at the beginning you can still notice them. Very salty and oily, cheapest food, a waitress who wasn't interested and a waitress who only spoke Spanish or didn't want it any other way. From the beginning. The starters such as octopus or shrimp and also the sardines were all drowned in oil. Each of the individual animals could still have swum in here. Also, unfortunately everything is totally over salted. The olives probably came from a discount store and were just washed with water and placed in a bowl. Here the oil, which was otherwise too much, was definitely missing with a few herbs. During the main course, no questions were asked about the degree of doneness of the meat, nor were there any steak or fish knives available later. When asked about the degree of doneness, it was explained that all types of meat, medium to well done, would be brought to the table. Lamb chops and rump steak well done, I don't know. Here you could already tell that it was too much for the waitress to serve our table aft. The food came, brought by the waitress, who probably only knew or wanted to speak Spanish and tried tooth and nail to explain to us what he had brought in order to distribute it to us. It was almost impossible to order a drink again from this waitress, as she turned around and simply left the table, acting as if she hadn't understood us. Von Anfang an. Die Vorspeisen wie Krake oder Garnelen und auch die Sardinen waren allesamt in Öl ertränkt. Jeder der einzelnen Tiere hätte hierdrin noch schwimmen können. Ausserdem ebenfalls leider alles total versalzen. Die Oliven kamen wohl vom Discounter und waren nur mit Wasser abgewaschen und in eine Schale gelegt. Hier hat das Öl, welches sonst zu viel war, definitiv mit ein paar Kräutern gefehlt. Beim Hauptgang wurde weder nach dem Gargrad des Fleisches gefragt, noch gab es hierzu später Steak- oder Fischmesser. Auf Nachfragen des Gargrades wurde erklärt, daß man alle Fleischsorten, medium bis durch an den Tisch bringen würde. Lammkotelett und Rumpsteak durchgebraten, na ich weiß nicht. Hier merkte man schon, daß es der Bedienung zu viel war, unseren Achtertisch zu bedienen. Das Essen kam, von der Bedienung gebracht, welche wohl nur spanisch konnte oder wollte und hat mit Händen und Füßen versucht, uns zu erklären, was er alles gebracht hat, um es an uns zu verteilen. Eine erneute Bestellung eines Getränk bei dieser Bedienung war schier unmöglich, da diese sich rum drehte und einfach den Tisch verließ und so tat als hätte man uns nicht verstanden. Die Tellersprache hier ist auch sehr außergewöhnlich. Der Rand sämtlicher Teller zugeschmiert mit Balsamico Dressing oder ähnlichem verfeinert mit jeder Menge Petersilie bis über den Rand sogar. Ansonsten war das Essen nicht schön dargestellt, mehr so Kantine. Grosser Löffel und drauf auf den Teller. Hier auch wieder Salz und noch mehr Salz. Aber auch sehr treu geblieben, der Koch, es war überall. Das beste und das ist Ernst gemeint, war der Nachtisch. Hier gab es nichts zu meckern. Beim Bezahlen gaben wir die Mängel kund, aber die lustlose Bedienung hat schön drüber weg gehört und ist in keinster Weise auf irgendetwas eingegangen. Jetzt bezahlen. Mit Karte. Denkste. Hier muss bar bezahlt werden. Gut hatten wir vorher bei der Reservierung nicht gelesen. Aber auch bei der telefonischen Reservierung würden wir nicht darauf aufmerksam gemacht. Alles in allem war dies kein schöner und gelungener Abend. Vielleicht hatten wir nur sehr viel Pech an dem Tag oder es ist immer so, dann versteh ich die anderen Rezensionen nicht. Fazit: n i c h t n o c h m a l Leider sehr schade, viel Geld da gelassen, für nichts.

Super great restaurant. If you like it quieter, you're in the wrong place here (at least outside), as the rail traffic runs right next to it. But certainly not a problem inside. Personally it didn't bother us and it was something different and somehow exciting 😂 Service is very friendly and accommodating. Absolutely recommended food. Rarely have I had such good paella. The tapas beforehand were also very tasty. All in all a restaurant that is recommended. We'll definitely be back :)

The view from the Rhine is also great, but there is a small drawback: the restaurant is located directly on the railway line, so if you like it very quiet, this is the wrong place. What I particularly liked here was the uncomplicated and absolutely friendly service. The dishes were all excellent too. There were five of us, everyone had something different. Partly starter, main course & dessert. The wine spritzer was also refreshingly delicious and not sour at all. It was my very first time eating Spanish food and the special location on the city walls of Bacharach has a very special flair, even if I prefer to sit inside because of the train traffic. First my little criticism, the entrance could only be found via a detour, but it was 100% worth it and unfortunately I wasn't informed about paying in cash when making the reservation (but it's on the internet) so if you can read you have an advantage :). The service and the ambience really appealed to us. We ordered nine tapas and, as we requested, they were served fresh one by one as soon as the kitchen was ready. The waitress said "whether we had taken on too much" but we didn't eat that much that day to enjoy the various tasty things from the menu. Finally, I also had dessert. Thanks to the entire team for allowing us to enjoy such a lovely evening with you.

What a charming find during our 2 nights in Bacharach. The food was delicious and a large variety of choices. People in our party had the garlic chicken, steak, shrimp and fish and we were all very happy. The atmosphere was very charming. The service was very attentive and helpful.

We had a vegetarian paella with mussels as there was no other option due to allergies. We were given great advice, questioned and in the end we had a great dinner on the table. Of course, paella always takes a little longer, but a look at the starters and a look in the wine glass made the time pass quickly.

The ICE train feels like it's 2m away. Totally fascinating. Food is super tasty and absolutely fresh. Great service.

Weil wir unseren spaeten Anschlusszug verpasst haben, suchten wir nach einer Bleibe in der Naehe von Koblenz und fanden sie bei Luz de Mar im angeschlossenen Hotel in Bacharach. Es war auch kein Problem, so spaet auch noch ein Abendessen zu bekommen, so hungrig wie wir waren. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich, wir fuehlten uns sofort wie zuhause. Und unsere Tapas - ein Gedicht! Unsere Bedienung war wirklich total aufmerksam und super freundlich, es fehlte an nichts. Zum Schluss hatten wir eine Crema Catalana, so gut, wie man sie sich nur wuenschen kann. Sollten wir jemals wieder nach Bacharach kommen, kaemen wir auf jeden Fall wieder zu Luz de Mar!

Vielen Dank für einen schönen Abend mit sehr leckerem Essen (wir haben uns zu dritt quer durch die Tappas gegessen) und überaus freundlichen Bedienungen. Als wir uns setzten wurde sogar geprüft, ob der Tisch wackelt, um ggf. nachzujustieren. Wir saßen draußen auf der Terrasse, was auch sehr schön war, obwohl in regelmäßigen Abständen Züge direkt vorbeifahren. Aber das gehört zum Erlebnis dort dazu. Kann ich uneingeschränkt empfehlen.

Es gibt wenige authentische spanische Restaurants in Deutschland aber wir vertrauten der Bewertung (4,7) bei Google. Nach dem Abend muss ich sagen - Fehlentscheidung. Kurze Bewertung und Begründung: Essen - mit viel Wohlwollen eine 3/5 Preis/Leistung - max eine 2/5 (Oliven, Aioli und Bravas jeweils um die 5 € - 10 Oliven, 10 kleine Kartoffelquadrate .....) Service - 2/5 ok wir haben die gesamte Tapas-Liste bestellt (4 Personen) aber dann 40 Minuten warten.... auf die Frage, ob es nicht möglich wäre schon mal die Oliven und Aioli zu bringen (Brot kam direkt am Anfang) erhielten wir als Anwort: in der Küche ist zu viel los!? Um Oliven aus dem Glas zu nehmen und Aioli aus dem Topf in ein Mini-Schächen zu füllen - ein Witz. Das man auf der Terrasse sitzend nach einer halben Stunde einen Tinnitus hat kann ich dem Restaurant nicht vorwerfen (Eisenbahnstrecke gefühlt 30 cm neben den Tischen), hätte man aber bei der Reservierung erwähnen können. Wenn man ohne sonderliche Getränke (nur ein paar Bier) knapp 45 € pro Kopf zahlt, sollte entweder die Qualität besser sein oder aber zumindest der Service top.

Os pratos são da culinária espanhola, fomos muito bem atendidos. O nosso pedido foi tapas, a sobremesa creme catalão. Excelente, com certeza voltaremos. 👏

Essen Topp, Service ebenfalls Topp. Lediglich das Sitzen direkt an der Eisenbahntrasse muss man abkönnen. Ich komme auf jeden Fall wieder. 😉

Interessantes sowie kulinarisches Restaurant. Wenn man bedenkt das die Bahn 🚆 knapp 2m direkt am Restaurant vorbei rauscht,ist dies schon ein Erlebnis.Die bestellte Paella sowie die von uns gewählte Vorspeise war frisch zubereitet, und geschmacklich hervorragend. Lokal sollte bei einem Besuch in Bacherach ein Muss sein. Service Personal ist sehr zuvorkommend Werden bestimmt hier wieder einkehren.

Fomos muito bem atendidos, os pratos estavam uma delícia, com certeza voltaremos. 👏

Direkt auf der alten Stadtmauer etwas umständlich zu erreichen aber wenn man erstmal sitzt ist alles gut freundliche Begrüßung und Bedienung das Essen war super und lecker

Lecker gegessen und nette Leute getroffen, kann man nur empfehlen.

Sind durch Zufall darauf gestoßen. Haben uns einen Mojito gegönnt, der uns absolut top die Zeit bis zum Essen überbrückt hat. Verdammt gute Mischung. Aber dann kam die Paella: Leute, ich hab noch nie was besseres gegessen. Und dazu wurde alles durch die lieben Mädels, die hier arbeiten, abgerundet. Geiler geht's nicht!!!
