The food isn't really tasty, just ok. The cleared dishes with leftover food that are thrown away are partly mixed up with the tapas freshly delivered from the kitchen.

We go there often, it's very nice and tastes good, at least most of it. When it's full, sometimes the things aren't quite as fresh, they've been in the oven too long, etc., that can happen. However, I think the price-performance ratio could be better. I would say it's quite expensive for slightly above average quality. Still, very nice atmosphere, nice staff (always quite loud inside, unfortunately, if that doesn't bother you) and, as I said, the food is also delicious. So definitely worth a visit!

Unfortunately, my visit to this restaurant was not particularly pleasant. Our waitress, a blonde lady with a strong Russian accent, was rude and inattentive. She seemed annoyed when we had a question about the menu and made us wait far too long - both when ordering and when paying. She also seemed to have little interest in whether we were happy. It's a shame because the food was good, but the service really spoiled the overall impression.

Very nice tapas bar. Be sure to reserve. In summer you can also sit outside. I had no problems finding very tasty, gluten-free tapas on the large menu and meat lovers will also get their money's worth. Absolutely okay in terms of price. The crowning conclusion was a perfect Barraquito.

Unfortunately, our visit to this tapas bar was anything but pleasant. Although the ambience is generally comfortable, the overall impression was marred by an unpleasantly loud atmosphere. Service was disappointingly uncoordinated. We had to wait a whopping 1.5 hours for our food without ever being told it would take that long. When the food finally came, some of it was cold and not prepared properly. In addition, one dish was completely missing, which the staff only dismissed with a rude comment. The price-performance ratio for the vegetarian dishes is very poor. The price is too high for a small bowl of potatoes or mushrooms (especially if the preparation is not good). The interaction between the service staff was unpleasant to watch. The tone was harsh, some tablets were torn out of my hands and one person didn't dare take my empty glass with me because her colleague was at the next table. Another negative point was that the food was placed on the counter along with dirty dishes - an absolute no-go! The wrong bill at the end unfortunately rounded off the overall bad impression. While the bar has potential when it comes to ambiance, the service and quality of the food desperately need improvement. I currently cannot recommend this tapas bar. Unfortunately, the guests at the next table had a similarly bad evening, so our impression was confirmed.

I've been to Luna y Sol several times over the past few years and I'm a little disappointed. We sat in the tent, which at first glance seemed cozy with the fire pits, but it was too cold for us, especially on our feet. This doesn't exactly invite you to linger. We had pre-ordered paella, which tasted good but with very few ingredients. There was a lot of very dry chicken meat, a gambas, mussels and 2 pieces of dry fish per portion. The tappas were good but for me they don't represent the price-performance ratio either. To charge 15 euros for 2 strips of rabbit is disproportionate. The Crema Catalan was ice cold, which we know from Spain is rather lukewarm. The staff was nice, but we sat for a long time with our dirty plates, We won't be coming back because the prices are far too high for what is on offer. Too bad!

Hier waren wir das letzte Mal. Wie traurig, wenn man bedenkt, wie schön es früher dort war und dass es bis heute so eine nette tapas bar mit großem Garten ist. Ein Erlebnis , das keine Wiederholung braucht. Wir bekamen zu viert einen Tisch zugewiesen, der Ober und die Kellnerin hatten uns demnach auch offensichtlich gesehen und bemerkt. Trotzdem wurden wir ignoriert, die komplett überforderte Kellnerin nuschelte einmal - ich komme gleich - was nicht passierte. So sind wir nach 25 - 30 Minuten unverrichteter Dinge wieder gegangen - es war übrigens nicht voll!

We were here yesterday. At the beginning we were served by two nice young ladies. Later the service changed and an older, very grumpy waiter was responsible for us. We tried 3 times to order something else... 3 times we received the answer "yes...immediately" After another 10 minutes of waiting we decided to pay. So another attempt to draw attention to us...and again we received the answer "Yes, immediately" to which we replied with a "No...Now...". The waiter came quite quickly. Now we also wanted to have the bill separated....the poor guy.....I wasn't allowed to pay my 22.80 euros (I would have liked to have consumed more) by card > Only from 30.00 euros < good ....then just cash....on my 50.00 euros I received 27.00 euros back. He immediately kept the tip. It would have been nice if he had asked... SO it was appropriate for the service. If you feel like you're being treated like that...unfortunately you can't eat the food anymore...I think that was our last visit.

We have been there many times, but not for a long time because previously we were mostly guests with business visitors. The food has always been great. This time everything took a little too long for me overall, but if you have time. I had planned to stay around 2 to 2.5 hours, but in the end it ended up being 3 hours. 3 hours waiting for service, ordering food twice and finally receiving the food. Why, for example, one waits 50 minutes for a bowl of sweet potato fries or 40 minutes for nachos is only partially understandable to me. Nevertheless, overall we were satisfied as always and will probably be guests there again

We dined here with friends and our children. Our mistake was to do tapas. It was very expensive and we left still hungry. Never have I spent so much money at a restaurant and come away hungry. However, the service, atmosphere, and food were outstanding. Our server was a very young man, but he did a very good job.

I had made a reservation online for Saturday evening for two people with the express wish not to sit in front of the European Championship screen. The reservation was confirmed to me. When we arrived, 2 waiters one after the other claimed that we had made a reservation for 3 people and wanted to watch football = table directly in front of the screen. Only after discussions did we get a table inside. The waiter seemed annoyed by the circumstances and only became a little friendlier as the evening progressed. Unfortunately the food wasn't as good as the last time I was there 2 years ago and we waited quite a long time for our orders. The prawns in garlic oil tasted bland, the bacon-wrapped dates were unfortunately not crispy. Albondigas, calamari and parmesan potatoes were okay, but not a highlight. Overall, I no longer find the price-performance ratio to be appropriate. For a basil-rhubarb spritz (whether with or without alcohol was not on the menu) €9.90 is simply overpriced, even if it was very tasty.

The food was okay, but our service was so rude. As soon as we arrived, we received such an unfriendly look that we wanted to leave immediately. When we asked a question about one of the dishes, we got a pretty sloppy answer that was simply thrown out into the room without making eye contact (plus an Eastern European accent, which isn't bad in itself, but she didn't even make an effort to get the answer across). understand. When we tried to contact her to order something else, she rolled her eyes in a bad mood, making you feel like you were a huge burden. It's completely normal to have a bad day, but I've already heard from acquaintances that this particular waitress has such an unfriendly demeanor. So really, you shouldn't be ashamed to treat your customers like that... My wife and I went here for lunch last week on a beautiful Spring day. We had a lovely time. The food was delicious, the staff were friendly and helpful. My wife had fresh pasta with shrimp and I had the paella. We enjoyed our food and drinks in their Bier Garden. The beautiful Bier Garden has attracted us since we first saw it on a walk through Bad Homburg weeks ago. We'll be back as the food is delicious and we each found other dishes on the menu we wish to try next.

The service is great. Very nice!!! Children are welcome and have the opportunity to be kept busy using a children's box. Today we had a finger food platter for 19.90 and mozzarella sticks for 9.99! I have to say that almost annoyed me because it was way too expensive for Konviniens. I also find a 0.3 Fanta for 4.20 almost outrageous. My friend had a burger for her daughter, not large, with normal toppings for 17.90, without any side dishes! This borders on usury… So it's a great location, food (if you don't order breaded, fried things) is also ok, but it's way too expensive! I worked in the catering industry for a long time and find it a shame that I have to deduct stars for this reason! Because prices are definitely not in proportion to performance here!

Nice restaurant in Bad Homburg. The outdoor tent has a pleasant atmosphere. The service tries hard but unfortunately not everything works. The drink order was forgotten and we had to wait 40 minutes for the starter. The food tasted good. The salad is an extremely large and rich portion.

The quality of the food was completely inadequate: the veal chop was almost entirely made up of fat, the vegetables were inedible and the sauce was so cold when served that you could cut it.

Seit mehr als 15 Jahren sind wir Gast im Luna und waren immer mindestens zufrieden. Aber gestern Abend habt ihr uns verloren! An den Preisen zu nörgeln finde ich albern - schließlich steht in der Karte, was es kostet. Aber angetrocknetes Brot zur Aioli, übergarte Parmesankartoffeln ohne Parmesan (mit billigem Gratin-Käse), ganze 5 kleine Gambas in Knoblauchöl für 14,90€, panierte Champignons und Falaffel als erwärmte Convinience-Ware, etc... Und das schlimmste war der unverschämte Lärm vom Aufräumen an der Theke, während wir noch am Essen waren. Oder der Mitarbeiter, der leere Weinkartons durch die Gegend trat, weil er nicht alle auf einmal fassen konnte. Und ja, wir hätten uns beschweren können. Aber es war der Geburtstag unserer Tochter und ich wollte ihr nicht den Abend verderben. Danke liebes Team vom Luna, daß ihr das dafür übernommen habt :-( Nicht mal den 1 Stern habt ihr verdient!
