480 GRADI • Pizzeria Napoletana in Bad Homburg v.d.Höhe

Since May 2022, Louisenstrasse, the central shopping street in Bad Homburg, has had one more culinary attraction. Although it is not a star restaurant, it is a new, simple and modern pizzeria. You might think that this is boring since pizzas are very common. However, my wife and our two children have eaten some of the really numerous and creatively prepared pizzas here and we think that they are the best pizzas available in our city. When we decide on pizza, it's always from "480 Gradi". The name of the pizzeria suggests that the delicious pizzas are baked at around 480 degrees in the very decorative pizza oven. Of course the huge pizzas are also delivered. What is special and almost unique is that the non-vegetarian versions only use halal ham and sausage. This means that people of Muslim religion can also enjoy the tasty pizzas instead of passing by fragrant pizzas. The pizza makers work very professionally, the service is extremely friendly and on top of that there is a discount: For every 10 pizzas that have been paid for and stamped on a card, you can get one free pizza for up to 12 euros. Went there for the second time today and enjoyed every bite again. It's nice to just order the pizza you want from the menu, I wish there was a place like that in Wiesbaden. I had the Pizza Maradonna, the sauce was simply incredibly tasty in combination with the generous toppings. The price for two pizzas with two soft drinks was €35, so absolutely fair. We have nothing to complain about, we'll be back.

We ordered a pizza to take away. The order was (original sound): 1x mararitha with beef salami and rocket. The employee confirmed the order and prepared the pizza. When we got home, we noticed that the pizza was topped with regular salami, which made it necessary to go to the hospital because our son has an intolerance. It's a shame, because the store makes a good impression, but we no longer think it's a good idea to fool customers and we probably won't visit the store again.

This pizzeria 480 GRADI is simply outstanding! In addition to the perfect pizza with a crispy base and fresh ingredients, we were particularly impressed by the special salad. I recently discovered this pizzeria - everything here is authentic and cozy! The highlight is the traditional oven in the restaurant, where you can watch how every pizza is freshly baked. The pizza is heavenly! Thin, crispy base, fresh ingredients, and the cheese is perfectly melted. The service was friendly and quick. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a real pizza experience!

This in general is pretty good. If you're looking for good pizza, I can recommend 480 Gradi. The service always does their best. Unfortunately I had problems with delivery a few times. Hence the 4 stars.

So for €22 for a pizza I think it's outrageous and it doesn't even taste good.

We had the Salame Peperoni and the Bufala – both pizzas were absolutely delicious! The taste immediately reminded us of Italy and was exactly what we were looking for. Finally pizza that you can really enjoy again. Overall, a top pizza and we'll definitely be back!

The 480 Gradi Pizzaria is a mega shop. Very hip and newfangled. With the stone oven there you get the best pizza in all of Bad Homburg. The ambience is also pleasant and there is music too. Nice service. Definitely worth a visit if you fancy high-quality Neapolitan pizza. The pepperoni pizza is my favorite! 🍕🍕

Great food! The pizza was very good as expected. But the salad was also just amazing! I was almost shocked at how generous and high-quality the salad was put together. I took the most expensive one at €15, which is a good price. Especially for what you get. A big thank you also to the nice staff!

We ordered pizzas home for my kids, and after two and a half hours of waiting, I called again to ask what was going on. The answer: “Sorry, this order went missing.” No food, no solution and above all, hungry children. It's really terrible that something like this can happen. One of the worst experiences we have ever had with a delivery service. Never again!

For a moment I felt like I was in Italy. Top!

All in all a very good pizzeria. The interior is a bit darker, which I generally approve of. The highlight is of course the open kitchen and the large pizza oven. The service was very attentive and friendly, but the most important thing was of course the food. I sampled the Hot Honey Sopremo. I was already familiar with the combination of honey and meat, but despite everything, this pizza blew my socks off. The dough was excellent and the combination of tomato sauce and cheese was perfect. And then this phenomenal combo of spicy salami and honey. TOP Finally, one can only say thank you for having such a great pizzeria outside of Italy!

Wir haben heute diese Pizzeria mal ausprobiert und per Telefon Pizza Salami bestellt. Leider waren wir alle etwas enttäuscht - die Pizza war teuer, die Salami einfach „draufgeknallt“, so dass diese sich an einer Stelle türmte und sonst nirgends Salami lag. Pizza und Salami war tlw. verbrannt. Der Teig schmeckte gut, Salami geschmacklich gewöhnungsbedürftig. Alles in Allem, wie eingangs erwähnt, für den Preis enttäuschend.

You can taste the quality of the ingredients. The pickled hot pepper side dishes that were provided on the table were great and spiced up the pizza for us! Delicious! We'd love to come back!

I've ordered from 480° several times and always found the pizza delicious, but today I had a different experience. After over an hour and a half the pizza arrived and was completely cold. It was barely edible and my cola was simply forgotten. Under these circumstances I cannot recommend 480° under any circumstances.

Disastrous pizza! Been burnt and cold! As soon as we started eating, what felt like a plague of flies came... The staff didn't care at all and we had to wait 30 minutes. I wouldn't recommend it! Not justified for the price

The pizzas and service were very good.

After 45 minutes of waiting at the table, we asked if we had been forgotten. The staff looked at us several times beforehand and simply ignored us. We understand this when there is a lot of traffic, but unfortunately the reaction of the staff didn't make up for it. The topping of the pizzas was tasty, the dough was rather disappointing - firm, a bit hard and not as fluffy as the reviews describe. Maybe we also had a bad day. The restaurant is air conditioned, which is great in the hot weather. Overall, 480Gradi wasn't able to convince us; there are much better pizzas in the Frankfurt area.

Stood at the front entrance for 10 minutes. It felt like the waiter walked past us 20 times without offering us a table, even though many of them were still free. We then left again because the service staff apparently couldn't manage to seat guests at the table. There were also guests behind us who then left. Very poor performance!!

Eat: Good pizzas, interesting combinations - but not "cheap" in the literal sense: you don't get the value you paid for. Service: The young staff are friendly and think they're pretty cool, but the colleagues in particular are a bit unmotivated for the price level. (Example: It's better to quickly buy Red Bull for yourself and your buddies instead of charging the customer or there are tons of open drinks from the staff at the checkout.) Hygiene: Okay for a pizzeria, sometimes, for example, there are empty dough boxes in front of the checkout and the floor of the outside area sticks and garbage flies around, which unfortunately isn't picked up. Ambiance: See above - overall, the nice facility suffers from the mediocre cleanliness and the appearance of the staff, who think they are pretty cool. In summary: Too expensive for what is offered. There is still potential for improvement - but the team has to work harder. Otherwise the hype will be over in two years and the store will be history - and that would be a shame.

5 people staff and still you wait forever. When we asked for an extra plate it didn't arrive and we had to go back in and ask. Items on the menu sold out. No Mastercard or Amex payment and that in 2024.

For me, this is the best and most authentic Halal pizzeria in Germany. Only high-quality ingredients from Italy are used here and you can taste it. I particularly liked the pizza “Mortadella e Pistacchio”, the halal mortadella, in combination with the wonderfully creamy burata and a great pistachio pesto, just went together perfectly, absolutely recommended!🔥💯

Unfortunately not my taste at all. I've been there twice now and have to say that neither the food nor the service convinced me. The pizza is ok, I think if you don't know or have had any other Neapolitan pizza, you can do that and it'll come close. The base and the topping just don't harmonize, I don't know whether it's the taste of the dough or the consistency, it just doesn't convince me the second time. The large selection is positive; the menu should really have something for everyone. The service is attentive and friendly.

Today I ordered from this restaurant for the first time. I can't say yet what the food tastes like as it never seems to arrive. I've been waiting for a pizza for two hours now, and it doesn't cost very much money. I'm extremely frustrated with this wait. I probably won't order there a second time.

Ordered 2 pizzas, tasted terrible, bad, indefinable ingredients, but endless fat. A pizza for 16 euros. The dough is wobbly. We have never received such an inedible pizza, if we had been in the restaurant we would have left without paying, both pizzas ended up in the trash. One star because at least one star must be awarded.

The pizza itself is well made. Unfortunately there was only beef ham. Not for Parma ham lovers. There is a strong draft through the big door. A curtain in front of it might be an idea. If you were to offer other ingredients, such as: Normal cooked ham and Parma ham from the pork I would come again.

Aufmerksam wurden wir auf das Lokal wegen des Pizzateig der 72Stunden reift. Findet man selten. Das Lokal macht eher den Eindruck eines modernen Imbiss der eher vom Liefergeschäft lebt. Dennoch: Empfang, Service freundlich und zuvorkommend. Die Pizza kam aus dem 400Grad heissen Ofen schnell auf den Tisch. Der Pizzarand war recht breit und dick. Die Pizza selbst gut belegt und der Teig schmeckte wirklich gut. Man schmeckte dass wenig Hefe drin war und dass er lange gereift war. Sehr bekömmlich. Auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen. Macht weiter so.

Very simply furnished restaurant with high fluctuation, uncomfortable. The pizza is delicious and well topped. The staff is friendly but stressed. No wonder there are a lot of pick-ups and pizza delivery people. The seats were all occupied and despite the cool weather, there were people sitting outside who couldn't find a seat inside. There are no alcoholic drinks and that has caused some visitors to leave. I no longer need one toilet for everyone.
