Lucia`s Elbperle in Lauenburg/Elbe

Since I was asked to give a rating, this is what follows: actually I should give 0 out of 5 stars because I have never experienced anything like it. I travel a lot for business and visit a lot of hotels throughout the year. The rooms are “ok” and spacious, the condition is a bit old, but that suited me. What doesn't fit at all is the owner: I had booked a business trip through HRS and, as usual with business trips, a credit card with a payment order for the invoice is stored. At least that's what the operator offers at HRS (even if he now denies it). Be that as it may, these are things that need to be clarified with the platform. Instead, I was made to understand over the phone that I had to pay immediately and was repeatedly threatened with property rights. Since I didn't allow myself to be intimidated by this, the owner threatened me that he would come over straight away and then quote, "there will be real trouble". In my opinion, that's not how you treat your (paying) guests, or if you can't deal with such challenges, the hotel industry may not be right for you. I have submitted a corresponding complaint to HRS. I felt sorry for the colleague who tried to find a solution, so thank you again.

The hotel is very centrally located. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The staff is very friendly. The breakfast is very tasty.

We just had a drink on a bike ride. It's nice to sit outside on the Elbe. But there was no cake, nor a fish sandwich for in-between meals. Service was very friendly.

I arrived by bike and received a very friendly welcome! I had a cute room with everything I needed and was able to safely store my bike. The only thing I was missing would perhaps be a drinks machine in the hallway, as you can only get supplies in that area from the catering industry (bottle of water €6.20 😬)

Unfortunately the prices on the menu didn't correspond to what we had to pay. The prices were supposedly blurred...and we had to pay more than double. Unfortunately, the buns from the burger were cold and not toasted, and the fried fish had more breading than fish. So, not recommended at all. Luckily, Lauenburg has many other restaurants.

Wow! I had the chance to take a break from my paddling trip and take have a rest in the wonderful little hotel in this wonderful little city. It was incredible to be in a hotel that has so much history. The room was a good size the bathroom and shower took a few tries to use comfortably but it was still very nice! The breakfast was a full set and with many options, and thanks to the wonderful weather I got to have breakfast outside! I had originally planned to arrive later and the team was VERY accommodating and when I arrived earlier they were very understanding. I’ll definitely be staying again.

Great view of the Elbe, but unfortunately drinks prices are completely exorbitant. Since we weren't given a card, we couldn't see the prices beforehand, otherwise we would have gotten up straight away. It's a shame actually.

First of all, super nice, friendly staff, cute restaurant with a view of the Elbe. Wide range of breakfast, lunch, cakes, delicious ice cream. Freshly ground coffee. I'd love to come back. 😊

A beautiful restaurant with a small hotel on the Elbe with a fantastic view of the Elbe and its nature reserve. The restaurant and the hotel write history from the beginning of the 1700s. Both facilities have been painstakingly and lovingly restored. Additional guest rooms will gradually be built on the upper floor of the restaurant. The breakfast is overwhelming and the price-performance ratio cannot be beaten compared to a conventional bakery. For 15€ and a full coffee and a hearty breakfast, I would have paid at least twice as much somewhere else. No matter what time of day you want to eat, you will get a lot of delicious options and not to forget the great homemade ice cream! Even the daily offer of cakes, everything was simply delicious with a beautiful view. The staff team is not only super accommodating and friendly, but is also available to help guests with advice and assistance all year round. Even the four-legged friends are taken care of; they are given fresh water to drink and can also be taken into the hotel and restaurant. The hotel is lovingly, modernly furnished, you have everything you need and if something should happen, it will be taken care of as quickly as possible. It is a uniquely great service and I can only recommend it to everyone. Keep it up, I felt comfortable at every stay and will always come back. Kind regards CG Ps. We stopped here for one night on our bike tour and felt comfortable in the attic room. A secure parking space was offered for our two bikes. In the morning we were allowed to eat our private breakfast (yoghurt and fruit) outside on the beautiful terrace with a view of the Elbe, so we only ordered coffee from the landlord. The staff was very friendly and we would stay here again.

We stayed overnight here on our bike tour. After clarifying whether we would also like breakfast, the first step was to clarify the finances. We were then shown our rooms. Perfectly fine for us. We were able to park our bikes in the yard and use the back stairs for our luggage. And here's a little note to the landlords - please remove the green plants (probably blackberries or something similar). The whole thing is also an escape route and it should be clear just in case. We completely forgot to mention it when we left. That's why it stays at 5 stars. Otherwise we would be happy to stop here again.

Very good homemade ice cream. With the view of the Elbe it tastes even better.

Very tasty brunch there at Easter. Very cozy. ...Service was nice, you just need to check with the guest more often to see if everything is okay or to clear the plates or if you need something... I would also have liked a few more homemade salads...egg salad, meat salad, cream cheese...but otherwise very tasty

Hello dear vacationers and travelers, I've been traveling for 10 years and have experienced many, but the employee at this hotel is the unfriendly person in the world. When I arrived I wasn't greeted but shouted at and told I had to pay. Here is my mistake, the app showed me: Please pay at the accommodation. I saw this later, but I didn't have time to look. The woman didn't have any time, as she told me. There were no customers on site, but she wanted to continue talking to the two restaurant employees. No problem for me because I wanted to take a shower. She let me into the room without paying. I went to take a shower and the knocking won't stop. I screamed, I'm taking a shower, I'm coming soon. The woman kept shouting, come on, I don't have time, you have to pay. She was right, I had to pay. I'm sorry for the misunderstanding. In addition, the woman didn't really speak German perfectly. Nevertheless, I call the woman's behavior harassment, really bad! The location of the hotel is nice. I will never come back and I'm glad I was only there for one night. Best regards

Stopover during a bike tour. Cozy rooms, some with a view of the Elbe. Delicious food at moderate prices. Nice staff, some from Ukraine.

In the past, my wife and I often went there with our children to eat pizza or just ice cream for the children. Directly at the parking lot or while walking further back for an ice cream with the children. Yesterday on my birthday I wished I could go for a walk in Lauenburg again. The children had to go straight to the toilet. I thought to myself, OK, let's get some ice cream quickly and the kids run to the toilet. Came through the door ice was not apparent (covered). A lady with dark hair stood a little further back with another employee and chatted. I asked you if we could use the toilet for a moment. Only if you eat or drink something was the answer and then you were directed and wished you had a nice day. I had them do it right back in the parking lot. Of course, ice cream should be made later past the Rufer. I first checked to see if the boss was there in person, but unfortunately I couldn't see him. I would have mentioned this to him straight away. There was no ice cream for the children, as far as I was concerned. I was so annoyed by this behavior yesterday. What you have lost as a result is a very satisfied customer who enjoyed being with you. There will be no more ice cream, pizza or a cool drink at the front with a view of the Elbe in the future. Doesn't pay his bills. We had agreements that were not kept. He changed his opening hours without consulting us. and we cannot deliver during these opening times as we do not have a driver for this period. So we stopped delivering. Out of spite, he withdrew the direct debits for the goods that had already been delivered and now thinks he is fooling us and no longer paying for the goods delivered.

Eating and drinking in a cozy atmosphere with a view of the Elbe. Very friendly Ukrainian service.

If you have allergies or intolerances or follow a vegan diet, you are not in good hands at Lucias. Unfortunately they don't even have oat milk for the coffee. I'm really disappointed and can't recommend it. Really a shame in such a nice location.

Very simple, great view, great location, nice service

A really nice and rustic restaurant that you could really get a lot more out of - with small but homemade dishes. Unfortunately the food wasn't good at all. The potatoes were probably frozen and the fish was very soggy. It was also a shame that there were only non-alcoholic drinks and they were very expensive. The service was very friendly and accommodating.

Unfortunately, pollack fillet from the daily menu was frozen goods. The salad had also had its best time. Due to the lack of glasses, there were also soft drinks from beer glasses. There's more to the store. A pity

The chairs outside are comfortable and have a great panoramic view of the Elbe. Prices are okay Improvement offers: 1. The menu is somehow confusing and the prices seem strange and inconsistent at first glance 2. Improve your coffee. If necessary, check the grinding levels, the number of grams or the machine. Coffee tastes sour and too weak 3. Outside the entrance on the right looks a bit strange and somehow doesn't fit with the whole ambience and there are loose objects lying around.

Sehr nettes Cafe zum Verweilen mit Blick auf die Elbe, urig

Ich habe vor einigen Tagen mit meinem Mann und unseren Töchtern die Lucia‘s Elbperle besucht und war sehr zufrieden. Ich habe dort den Fischburger gegessen, den ich auf jeden Fall empfehlen kann. Ganz wichtig für mich, alle sind dort total Kinderfreundlich. Es ist urig und gemütlich dort und alle sind sehr freundlich. Auf jeden Fall ein Besuch wert.

Der Fischbürger ist sehr zu empfehlen. 👍 Außerdem haben die Mädels mein Handy geladen und meine Fahrradflasche für die Rücktour gefüllt. 😊 Alles bestens!

Wir waren vor einigen Tagen in Lucias Elbperle und haben einen Eiskaffee und ein Eis verzehrt. Der Kellner war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Erklärte freundlich, was es für Eissorten gibt und welche sein Favorit sei (Biskotto-Nougat, sehr zu empfehlen). Das Eis war sehr cremig und super lecker, man schmeckt, dass es sich um selbstgemachtes Es handelt. Der Eiskaffee war leider etwas zu warm (dafür wurde er aus echtem Kaffee hergestellt). Nachdem wir den Kellner darauf hingewiesen haben, hat er sich unsere Kritik zu Herzen genommen und wollte mit dem Chef über mögliche Verbesserungen sprechen. Süßes kleines Restaurant. Ein altes Gebäude, welches liebevoll hergerichtet wurde. Ein Tipp: Geht unbedingt auf die Toilette, es lohnt sich ;-) Trotz des leicht warmen Kaffees geben wir 5 Sterne für Geschmack und Service.

Wir haben auf der Terrasse gesessen mit Blick auf die Elbe und Eis, Erdbeertorte und Cappuccino genossen. Alles war sehr lecker. Die Bedienung war super nett, wir kommen gerne wieder.
