Louisiana Trier in Trier

In spite of what other reviews imply, this place seems to only show “soccer”. I went there to watch an American Football game and they said they never show that. Didn’t stay since they were closing early on top of that.

Egendomligt namn. Stället har ingen som helst koppling till den delstaten i USA. Varken maten eller dryck som erbjuds harmonierar med namnet. Fantastiska nachos, i övrigt ok. Inte en gång fick vi frågan om vi ville ha något mer och tog oss 10 minuter att få kontakt när vi ville betala. God öl, men så är det alltid i Tyskland.

Für unsere Mittagspause haben wir auf der Homepage von Louisiana Trier nach einem leckeren Essen gesucht. Gericht gefunden, Preise notiert, per Anruf bestellt, abgeholt und zack 3,60 mehr gezahlt, als vorher gesehen. Eine Frechheit, wie wir finden. Ultimate Nachos lt Homepage 6.90 gezahlt haben wir 7.50. Spencers Chicken lt. Homepage 7.90, gezahlt 10.90 !!!! Vielleicht sollte die Speisekarte online dringendst überholt werden. 3 Punkte, da das Essen gut war.

The food was good. I only gave 4 stars because the name is misleading. Cajun fries, for example, we're nice and crispy, but were not Cajun seasoned at all. With a name like Louisiana, I expected more seasoning on everything. That said, my burger was cooked perfectly. The ribs and chicken wings are not heavily sauced like you'd expect in an American restaurant. It is served with sauce on the side, however, so you can add to your liking. The atmosphere was nice and the service was excellent. I would eat there again.

I waited 15 minutes for a beer from the bottle...

Nice restaurant and bar in the middle of Trier. Delicious food at a fair price and friendly service. A visit is worth it.

Very modern atmosphere. Cozy benches and chairs. We were there for dinner. A super tasty hamburger with 1A meat, ingredients and buns. Then also chicken sticks with noodles. Also super tasty. Everything is right here.

You can enjoy delicious food there for a reasonable price. Not all the staff were very friendly, but that didn't bother me that much when I got the food in front of me. The burgers are definitely recommended!

This one would come as a bit harsh. But I did not enjoy the food at all. The burger bun was so dry and the patty was completely tasteless. The cheese, meat. Everything. The chicken lacked taste as well. I’m thoroughly disappointed with this visit. I would never recommend this or visit them ever again. Sorry, it may sound harsh but it wasn’t a very good experience.

We had a very good stay here, were able to watch football and ate very tasty spear ribs. They tasted heavenly. Very, very nice, hard-working staff. We'll be back.

We didn't manage to visit the restaurant in Berlin, but we did in Trier. After we visited I'm actually very satisfied, I wouldn't have thought that the portions would be large and tasty. That's why I would always choose Louisiana over other restaurant chains. Price performance is optimal and really worth a recommendation.

I think the restaurant was nicely done, but I had a pasta with vegetables and tomato sauce and the sauce was way too sweet and just tasted like a barbecue sauce. Afterwards I had heartburn because it was so sweet/lots of sugar. I think it's a shame because there was nothing about barbecue sauce on the menu. Service was friendly.

Had breakfast there again after a long time. Was like a vacation. Great!

We only had one beer here. The ambience was very nice, you sit outside in the middle of the action. Service was a long time coming, the service was mostly busy with itself.

The three of us went for a drink in Trier after a shopping spree in the Louisiana, and we were impressed by the short stay! The drinks were good value for money and the staff were friendly and quick. Unfortunately I can't say anything about the food since we only had something to drink, but I'd be happy to come back to try that out too. All in all, a pleasant visit!

Waited for 15 minutes to get a table, got just 1 menu card (for 2 person) and waited up to 30 minutes before leaving becuase we still didnt got anything to drink. This problem seems to be normal here.

We thought we would have something to eat in Trier. Portions looked good, but if we had known we were going to get food poisoning the next night we would never have eaten here. We both had chicken that was not good. Well, no more Louisiana for us. When paying, the staff also found each other more interesting than helping us.

I came here after wandering around the city for two hours in around 35 degrees Celsius. I ordered a large cola zero and a beer at the same time. No weirdness when doing so. The young lady was friendly and checked regularly if I needed something. Wonderful place to rest and drink something.

they dont understand that putting 4 jalapeños in a dish does not make it cajun or louisiana

We ate there often. Actually, I've always been very happy, but after yesterday I don't want to go there anymore. I had a Caesar salad. Unfortunately there were rotten leaves everywhere in the salad. I told the waiter that, and she brought me a plate so I could sort everything out. Actually, she should have said on her own initiative that she would take the salad back and bring a new one. Unfortunately this was not the case. It's a shame, as we were otherwise always very happy there.

I've already been to another Louisiana in Oberhausen and was accordingly disappointed. We had to wait an unexpectedly long time for service even though there were hardly any customers in the restaurant when we arrived. The food “burgers, chicken wings, fries”. My burger was dry and lukewarm. The chicken wings were fried to death. No, it was edible but not edible. The drinks came after the meal after we pointed this out. The drinks were good. When we asked for the bill we had to wait an unexpectedly long time and for the receipt. All in all, the entire service seemed very disorganized. The service itself was always friendly. When we asked during the food delivery whether we would also get the drinks, the answer was: "You can't ask me that." I wanted to go over to the pharmacy and ask there first, but we didn't let it ruin our day and the whole thing was easy "Swallowed" Inexperienced people are one thing, but unsuitable simply doesn't work. Thank you - not again!

The only thing that was good was the grilled vegetables. Also, the requested mayonnaise was forgotten. I also asked for a small beer, but the boss didn't allow that. Only half liters. I don't think this is a service, as it was a simple draft beer. I see a revenue model here. They also forgot to deliver the beer. So sloppy. Such a shame, because the restaurant is beautiful and beautifully located. Droog eten en klant als verdienmodel... Op de bestelde plate was de kip doorgeslagen, droog. De bijgeleverde patat was ook heel droog en daarmee niet weg te krijgen. Het enige wat goed was waren de gegrilde groenten. Daarnaadt werd er vergeten de gevraagde mayonaise te brengen Daarnaast had ik om een klein biertje gevraagd maar dat mocht niet van de baas. Enkel halve liters. Dat vind ik geen service daar het een simpel tap biertje betrof. Ik zie hier een verdienmodel gehanteerd. Ook waren ze het biertje vergeten te leveren. Zo slordig. Heel jammer, want het restaurant is wel mooi en mooi gelegen. Trockenfutter und Kunden als Erlösmodelle... Das Hähnchen auf dem bestellten Teller war zerschlagen und trocken. Auch die dazugehörigen Pommes waren sehr trocken und daher nicht zu entfernen. Das Einzige, was gut war, war das gegrillte Gemüse. Außerdem wurde die gewünschte Mayonnaise vergessen. Ich habe auch um ein kleines Bier gebeten, aber das hat der Chef nicht zugelassen. Nur halbe Liter. Ich glaube nicht, dass das ein Service ist, da es sich um ein einfaches Fassbier handelte. Ich sehe hier ein Erlösmodell. Sie haben auch vergessen, das Bier auszuliefern. So schlampig. Sehr schade, denn das Restaurant ist wunderschön und schön gelegen.

It's very nice to sit outside. The service was also very nice and attentive, but unfortunately the food didn't score. We were there around lunchtime, unfortunately the toilets weren't very clean. The drain in the right sink in the men's toilet was completely broken and the dirty water ran onto my shoes.

They dont do Reservations but when we come they say, its already reserved half tables for the futball. Of course only privileged friends.

One of my favorite restaurants in Trier. Great food and enough TVs for everyone to watch football. It is usually full but you can reserve tables. Despite the full house, the food comes quickly and is very tasty.

Had a nice last game day here. Good beer, fair prices, Cologne was relegated and Mainz stayed in the league. Saturday couldn't have been nicer.

It was very tasty, the price was completely reasonable and the children played around on the sofa here and there without anyone getting upset. All in all a nice evening.

Can't go wrong with beer here, the food is tasy. No stocks or food after 10 PM on Saturdays, or at least that's what the waiter said.

Stopped here for a drink, and it was so friendly we had dinner. Amiee was awesome, friendly, and attentive. The food was great, fresh, and plenty, which makes it great value for money. Spent a fabulous afternoon here in the sunshine. Thank you, and please commend Amiee.

This restaurant is beautifully located on the Kornmarkt. The food is very tasty, not the usual suspects like schnitzel etc. The staff is very friendly. Will definitely go again when we are in Trier.
