Extremely tasty, not too expensive and centrally located.

Extremely good, very attentive service, no endless menu with the same dishes, anyone who still knows the old department store will be even more surprised.

Service and ambience great! However, I didn't find the sushi that convincing. Prepared excellently, but the sashimi had not yet thawed properly. I would have expected more in terms of taste for the price. Still a solid dinner.

Were at the LOU today. The food and service was very good as always. But when I paid I was astonished. Card payment for less than €70 was not possible. (we still had a voucher) and without warning. An absolute no-go for me whoever thinks evil about it.

It wasn't our first time here and we've always been very satisfied. Nothing was right today. The soup bowl was not even half full and only lukewarm. The sauce for the summer rolls was very little. Wasabi and ginger for sushi were only available upon request and here too the quantity was insufficient. Next time we'll go back to the restaurant opposite :-(

Mango salad without mango, the vegetable showed that it had been cut quite a while ago. Card payment is only possible from an arbitrarily set amount (sometimes €60, sometimes €75). Service was partly very arrogant.

The food is super tasty and the staff is super nice and always come to you and ask if you would like anything else. You can just feel comfortable here and we really enjoy coming here!

Unfortunately, this visit was rather disappointing. When you ordered, an appetizer was forgotten to be included and something ordered as an appetizer was brought too late. The preparation of the food had definitely been seen with more love. The pale duck didn't necessarily entice you to eat it. The French music, which we found to be too loud, had no positive effect. It's nice that such a great ambience has been created, but the service and the dishes have to match the taste and appearance of the requirements and prices.

I am really particularly impressed by the incredibly lovely and nice waitresses and waitresses. The food was great, all in all really great! But good service is half the battle and in our case, even the whole thing. Thank you very much for that and see you soon, I'll definitely be back! 🥳

Kein klarer Focus auf eine Landesküche. Ich denke eher eine Auswahl aus Thailand, Vietnam, China, Japan. … Sushi sah gut aus, haben wir aber nicht probiert. Preis Leistung passt.

But I leave my earlier opinion below. I'm so sorry. "Saturday. I called at 5 p.m. and they already had a table at 7:30 p.m. The new place is next to the old one. More seats. More staff. A lot of people. The order was placed in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes the food was already served. Even the drinks weren't delivered and we already... "Beautiful. Very dynamic service. Just look at the photos. First class. The only minus is the payment by card from 70 Euro for 2 dishes, one drink and a juice. The price is very high."

We were traveling through in a motorhome and wanted to go out for Asian food. Visited this restaurant. Friendly welcome. Very nice atmosphere. Our little dog was immediately given a water bowl without being asked (attentive by the staff). Very good selection of food and drinks. It is the finer Asian cuisine. We were thrilled. Very good value for money.

We love this restaurant. Food is simply great. But why are card payments only available from 70 euros? Why? That in today's time. There were 6 of us eating and drinking for almost 350 euros. There was nothing but thanks, as you know from other restaurants. That's a bit disappointing. There is a deduction for this and card payments.

It's very nice and big inside. Sitting in the middle aisle isn't quite as comfortable. There's always a lot of activity happening. Everyone is very friendly and attentive. The food is prepared very tasty. It is beautifully presented on the plate and tastes great. We couldn't reserve a table because too many people had already pre-ordered. But there were still places available for two people on site. Highly recommended, again at any time, even if it is a bit price intensive. It's worth it!

After the Lou's conversion, it's even bigger and more stylish. Great ambience. Super nice service. A look into the kitchen from the square leaves special impressions. Delicious drinks - but the food is an absolute highlight. Be it sushi or something else. Great quality and really fresh. As is well known, the eye also eats. 🙂👌🏻 But the desserts also promise a lot 😌 A small children's paradise allows parents to eat with peace of mind and enjoy the evening. From 0-7 with warm carpets and giant blackboards through to climbing and play equipment, the child's well-being is the top priority. In addition, small children cannot run out in crawling mode. It is highly recommended!!

Great cozy restaurant, value for money is also great. Had dinner with 8 people and everyone enjoyed it and enjoyed it. We particularly liked the children's area. This is designed as a separate area so that the children can play alone without running through the entire restaurant.

Super delicious food. Very authentic. The mango salad is delicious. And the udon noodles with salmon were also great. The coconut milk-mango-raspberry shake was a great way to end the meal. Service seemed a little overwhelmed at times, but it was also very busy.

Great restaurant and fantastic food. BUT all of the sushi is NOT gluten-free and is incorrectly declared on the menu (it shows it as gluten-free - but it does contain gluten). Unfortunately, rice vinegar contains gluten, which is used to season the rice during preparation.

As a funeral party, we booked more seats on the weekend than there were ultimately guests present. That's why a waiter complained to us several times in a rude manner. We then had to wait about 1.5 hours for our food (other guests came about 30 minutes after we ordered and had already paid their bill before we got our food). Absolutely unprofessional! Card payments are only possible from €70, which is simply not up to date. And the 5% discount granted in advance for cash payment was ultimately not deducted. There were no longer any proper chopsticks for all the guests. The ambience and food look good, but the service was poor. Apart from the sudden onset of diarrhea after eating by several guests, we didn't feel well here.

We have been to LOU several times and are always thrilled. Nice decor, very nice and attentive service and a delicious selection. We always tried other dishes and always loved them! We will be back :-)

First time here, heard and read a lot of positive things. As a creature of habit, Asian cuisine is still foreign to me. "What the farmer doesn't know, he doesn't eat." A big birthday for his best friend should change this. Reserved in advance, which is essential for a weekend visit. Because it's packed. Nevertheless, the service seems to be structured. The young, friendly staff are determined without seeming stressed. Of course there was a wait. But a reason to travel back, because old Dessau residents know this building as a department store. The staircase appears well lit as an eye-catcher, still a prime example of past childhood memories. Unlike other Asian restaurants, there is no train station atmosphere in large, coldly lit rooms. The waiting time mentioned was worth it, because after a long search and weighing up my own inexperienced taste, I chose the mango curry. My first real Asian meal and of course I was surprised. Was delicious. And I'll be back.

Eine Deutsche Mitarbeiterin dort hat meine Verabredung angebaggert. Sie teilte dem Kunden also meiner Verabredung auch mit, es wäre doch besser er würde ihr das Trinkgeld an einem anderen Ort z.B. auf der Straße geben damit sie es nicht teilen müsse denn sonts hätte sie nichts davon. Sie war unglaublich anhänglich, das ist das dritte mal dass das mit dieser Frau passiert ist und ich kenne sogar andere Leute bei denen sie genau das gleiche gemacht hat. Mir bleibt aufgrund dessen nichts übrig als das Restaurant zu wechseln. Das ist das unprofessionelste Verhalten das ich jemals erlebt habe.

Never actually wanted to go to the Asian restaurant. I'm not into fish. But what I ate (without fish) was absolutely delicious. Very good atmosphere and one of my favorite beers, what more could you want. Desert and cocktails were also very good. Price-performance - top. Service was friendly - I would love to come back 🤗

We just stood in front of the door for at least 45 minutes despite a reservation in 4 degrees CELSIUS. NO end in sight. We left now and thank God we spontaneously got a seat at Hugo's. Absolute disaster!

Visited the Lou again yesterday, the food was great again, but the service had noticeably deteriorated. The food could be ordered after a 20-minute wait upon request, which was better and payment with KK, Apple Pay or similar. So cashless only from 70€ is really completely backwoods in the digital age. Cash payment is then made without receipt🤔 hmm. Service is friendly and tries to cover up these “grievances” well. It's a shame, that's not a positive development in what is a great restaurant.

Food was great. The ambience was also very well done. The only point of criticism: There are signs at the entrance stating that card payments are not possible for technical reasons. When you ask, you find out that card payments are possible from 70 EUR. (A minimum card payment is not acceptable these days.) This contradictory information should be eliminated.

Never again, the price-performance ratio is unacceptable. Nobody was full, only after dessert, if there was any. Standard answer was out, 7 p.m. It's incomprehensible how they survive, but probably due to a lack of offerings. In any case, go to the Indian restaurant at the Dessau slaughterhouse.

Very modern Asian restaurant with a large dining room and lots of tables as well as an open show kitchen. When we came with a reservation on a Friday around 7:30 p.m., we had the impression that we had almost the last free table in the restaurant, so I would recommend a reservation. Unfortunately, the service got off to a bit of a slow start, but this improved as the evening progressed... Overall, the food was beautifully presented and tasty, but for us it wasn't overwhelmingly different than elsewhere. Prices are good and completely acceptable, we can definitely recommend a visit. The only drawback was that it seemed very noisy when it was very full, which subsided in the evening as the place emptied and the extractor didn't seem to work due to the open kitchen, and the things smelled very strongly of food after the visit.

Today we went to Lou's for the first time. Reserved for 6 p.m., without reservation it will be difficult and pleasant places to get quiet places. Although it was very crowded, the noise level was limited. Children were also present, there was also a games corner, but we didn't hear them. By the way, a guest with a Pomeranian (a dog 😉) also got a table. The drinks and appetizers (prawn skewers = 😋) were served quickly. Unfortunately the kitchen seems to have been a bit overloaded as the main courses took around 60 minutes to arrive. Well, the beer and cocktails were a good way to pass the time too. What I can recommend, the 30?, no idea anymore... Duck with tagliatelle, some salad... I can still taste it on my tongue! I would order again immediately! The other dishes in the pictures were also said to be delicious. So, we've already made reservations for March 8th... of course, after the feast is before the feast! By the way, the chaos with parking can be easily dealt with since 3 a.m. to 9 p.m. is free in the Dessau Center. A short “active break,” a dear former colleague always said, is quite nice after dinner. Shortly before 6 p.m., the Dessau law enforcement officers had overtime and checked all parking spaces on both sides of the street. So just make a reservation and try it out for yourself. Enjoy your meal!

A real asset near the Bauhaus Museum! Tasteful furnishings with lots of dark wood and really attentive and friendly service. We both had a dish with tofu in a slightly spicy mango sauce. That was very good and we would like to come back here. We recommend!

What was really easy on the website, it also says that you can only pay in cash (from €70 with EC) and if you know that, I don't think there's a problem. That's why I can't understand some of the reviews. The restaurant was busy when we arrived (5:30 p.m.), we were escorted to the table and served a short time later. Everything went very quickly and beautifully prepared. The staff was very well coordinated, which is something you rarely see. There is a large play area for the children; they have really thought through things here. Once again a big compliment to the entire Lou team, you made our evening a special one.
