Leckeres Essen und sehr guter Service

Das KAORI in Dessau überzeugt vor allem durch ein außergewöhnlich gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Auswahl entspricht dem, was man von einem guten asiatischen Restaurant erwartet: von Thai-Currys über Reisgerichte mit gebackener Ente oder Hähnchen bis hin zu Sushi ist für jeden Geschmack etwas dabei. Besonders positiv überrascht hat mich der Mittagstisch. Dort gibt es eine separate Speisekarte mit sehr fair kalkulierten Gerichten. Eine frische, absolut ausreichende Sushi-Portion für 8,90 Euro findet man heutzutage nur noch selten. Das Essen war durchweg gut, die Portionen großzügig und die Preise insgesamt erstaunlich günstig. Das Restaurant liegt zentral in der Dessauer Innenstadt, kostenfreie Parkmöglichkeiten sind fußläufig erreichbar. Sauberkeit und Ambiente sind vollkommen in Ordnung und passen zum Konzept. Ich komme selbst nicht aus Dessau, habe aber in vielen Städten in Deutschland asiatisch gegessen. In Bezug auf das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis fällt es schwer, etwas Vergleichbares zu finden. Wer in Dessau eine solide asiatische Küche zu wirklich fairen Preisen sucht, macht mit dem KAORI nichts falsch.

Bei der Suche nach einem nicht zu teurem aber doch ansprechendem und frischem leckeren Essen sind wir auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Und wir wurden nicht enttäuscht. Super leckeres Essen! Die Ente war ein Traum, saftig, zart und lecker! Jedes Essen in sehr guter Qualität. Die Angestellten sehr freundlich. Wir waren rundum zufrieden.

Ich war mit Frau und Kind (Familie aus Magdeburg) in Dessau zu Besuch und wir aßen zu Mittag in Kaori. Wir wurden sehr freundlich bewirtet. Alles hat gestimmt. Auch das Ambiente. Sollten wir jemals wieder in Dessau sein, werden wir mit Sicherheit Kaori erneut einen Besuch abstatten! Tipp: Esst unbedingt den Reis, er ist super lecker. Auch der Litschi-Eistee ist sehr lecker! 😋

Schon beim Betreten des Restaurants merkt man sofort, dass hier viel Wert auf Atmosphäre und Gastfreundschaft gelegt wird. Das Team ist unglaublich freundlich, aufmerksam und sorgt dafür, dass man sich direkt willkommen und wohl fühlt. Man wird sofort begrüßt und merkt schnell, dass hier mit echter Leidenschaft gearbeitet wird. Besonders beeindruckend ist natürlich das Essen. Die Gerichte werden frisch zubereitet und schmecken einfach fantastisch. Man merkt sofort, dass nur hochwertige Zutaten verwendet werden und dass sich die Köche viel Mühe geben, jedes Gericht perfekt zuzubereiten. Dazu kommt, dass das Essen auch optisch wunderschön angerichtet wird. Jedes Gericht sieht fast wie ein kleines Kunstwerk aus und macht schon beim Anschauen Lust darauf, es zu probieren. Auch die Auswahl auf der Speisekarte ist super. Es gibt viele verschiedene Gerichte, sodass wirklich für jeden etwas dabei ist. Egal ob man etwas Neues ausprobieren möchte oder einfach ein richtig gutes Lieblingsgericht sucht – im Kaori Restaurant wird man definitiv fündig. Die Atmosphäre im Restaurant rundet das ganze Erlebnis perfekt ab. Das Ambiente ist modern, stilvoll und gleichzeitig sehr gemütlich. Man kann dort entspannt essen, sich unterhalten und einfach eine schöne Zeit verbringen. Es ist ein Ort, an dem man sich gerne aufhält und an den man immer wieder zurückkommen möchte. Insgesamt kann ich das Kaori Restaurant wirklich nur in den höchsten Tönen loben. Vom freundlichen Service über das hervorragende Essen bis hin zum tollen Ambiente passt hier einfach alles. Wer einmal dort gegessen hat, versteht sofort, warum dieses Restaurant so besonders ist. Für mich ist es ganz klar eine 5-Sterne-Erfahrung und ich würde jederzeit wieder dort essen gehen.

Es gibt Restaurantbesuche… und dann gibt es Erlebnisse, die sich wie eine kleine Reise in eine andere Dimension anfühlen. Genau so ein Erlebnis hatten wir im KAORI. Schon beim Betreten hatte ich das Gefühl, eine geheimnisvolle asiatische Tempelhalle zu betreten, in der Meisterköche mit fast schon mythischer Präzision ihre Kunst erschaffen. Der Duft von frischen Zutaten lag in der Luft, als würde irgendwo im Hintergrund ein alter Küchengeist flüstern: „Hier passiert gleich etwas Großes.“ Dann kam das Essen. Und Leute… was dort auf den Tisch kam, war keine Mahlzeit – es war ein Kunstwerk. Das Sushi sah aus, als wäre es von einem Zen-Meister persönlich komponiert worden. Perfekte Formen, leuchtende Farben, alles frisch, alles harmonisch. Der erste Bissen… und plötzlich war es still am Tisch. Nicht weil nichts zu sagen war – sondern weil jeder kurz verstehen musste, wie unglaublich gut das gerade schmeckt. Die Aromen waren so fein abgestimmt, als hätten jahrhundertealte kulinarische Traditionen beschlossen, sich genau in diesem Moment zu treffen. Jede Rolle, jede Sauce, jede Bowl hatte diesen „Wow“-Moment, bei dem man automatisch sagt: „Okay… das ist wirklich next level.“ Der Service? Freundlich, aufmerksam und entspannt – genau die Art von Atmosphäre, bei der man merkt: Hier macht jemand seinen Job mit Herz. Am Ende saßen wir da, glücklich, satt und ein kleines bisschen ehrfürchtig, weil man merkt: Manche Orte schaffen es, aus einem einfachen Abendessen eine kleine Legende zu machen. Kurz gesagt: Wenn gutes Essen eine Superkraft hätte, KAORI hätte sie gemeistert. Wir kommen definitiv wieder. Und beim nächsten Mal bringen wir mehr Hunger mit. Denn so eine kulinarische Saga erlebt man nicht jeden Tag. Absolute 5 Sterne.

Three of us went there for dinner on Saturday without a reservation. A table was available immediately, even though the restaurant was busy. Ordering was quick and super friendly. The sushi was fantastic; we haven't had such good food in a long time. The non-alcoholic cocktails were delicious. We'll be back!

Kaori is a very cozy restaurant with a particularly delicious selection of dishes. The sushi is highly recommended and by no means run-of-the-mill. We've been there several times and have always felt very comfortable. Even for those who aren't sushi fans, there's a wide selection of delicious dishes. We love coming here. I ordered the Sushi Master menu, and it was beautifully and tastefully presented. I had no complaints while eating it. However, 30 minutes after leaving the restaurant, I started feeling extremely nauseous and immediately vomited. As soon as the entire menu was out, I immediately felt better. I don't know what was wrong with the sushi, but there must have been something. It's a shame.

I'd like to report on our visit yesterday. Our gin and tonic drinks were overfilled with ice. When we asked, we were told that's how it is and that's how it's handled. That's how we're used to it: two ice cubes are fine, but filling the glass completely is simply unnecessary and distorts the taste. The young waitress was totally annoyed and overwhelmed. She simply lacked the necessary tact. The food was absolutely top-notch. Beautifully presented, it was very tasty. That one young waitress ruined our entire evening. We finally brought it up. It's a shame that something like that shouldn't happen in such a great place. I've been there several times and have always been satisfied, but unfortunately not this time. I don't think it will be our favorite anymore. Too bad.

We spontaneously ended up at Kaori today :) There were five of us and we were greeted very politely. Asian friendliness :) Great. The service was exceptionally good. Just as it should be :) The entire meal, from starters to main courses, was delicious, beautifully presented, and made with lots of love :) The kids were also absolutely thrilled. We'll be back :) Unfortunately, I only have a photo to share this time, but feel free to experience it for yourself :) PS: Next time, we'd like to use the separate room :)

Kaori had been on my wish list for a long time. On Friday, I had the opportunity to try the delicacies, albeit the takeaway version. I'm fully aware that the presentation of the food in the plastic container isn't as appealing as on a plate, so I'm skipping that. The chicken was tender as butter and excellently seasoned, and the rice was perfectly fine. But that was it. Both the side salad and the grilled vegetables were completely unseasoned, which made the taste experience a real bummer. The dish was completely lacking in sauce. The portion size was far too small for me—especially considering the price—especially the salad and grilled vegetables. A real shame.

The food was delicious!!! It was cold in Dessau, so I wanted a warm soup, so I had rice noodles. The chicken curry also had a delicious sauce, so I highly recommend it. However, the waiter didn't speak English. They didn't even know how to use a spoon... I think you could show them the actual item or use Papago to get the spoon.

Went there one evening without a reservation and got a table outside right away. The food is delicious, the gyozas are good as an appetizer, the Kaori Burger is something different – the seitan patty was very good. The mocktails are amazing, and my "Passion Fruit Dream" order was delicious. Service was exceptionally good; you could tell the waiter was making a lot of effort. The food and drinks arrived very quickly. Not as classy an atmosphere as Lou's across the street, but still very pleasant. Portion sizes are good, but the prices are a bit high. All in all, I'd even rank Kaori ahead of Lou's.

The starter was tempura shrimp, absolutely delicious with great mayo. The main course was red curry with duck. I wish it could have been a bit spicier, but it was still delicious, and the duck was super tender and juicy. The service was also very friendly and unpretentious.

We were always absolute fans of Kaori, but unfortunately, it's declined significantly. Prices, on the other hand, have skyrocketed. I'm happy to pay when I get the quality I expect. I've never had canned tuna in a roll when ordering sushi. At these prices, it's completely unacceptable, or it has to be advertised. Sorry. The sauce contains undeclared peanuts. Dangerous for allergy sufferers. Portion sizes have also changed significantly. Unfortunately, I can't recommend it at the moment.

An employee behaved extremely rudely and provocatively towards me - with a tone that was completely inappropriate. First, there were problems with the reservation, and we had to eat between the door and the counter. The restaurant is loud and more reminiscent of a train station concourse, especially if you're familiar with the old McDonald's. The food was okay; we've had better. Overall, disappointing.
