KAORI Restaurant in Dessau-Roßlau

Since it was very full, we had to wait about 15 minutes for our reserved table, but the food and the ambience were very good! The staff is very friendly! All in all a success!

Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We were looking for an Asian restaurant and luckily came across KAORI in Dessau. As soon as we entered, we were warmly welcomed and were able to order our drinks straight away, which were served promptly. The service was extremely friendly and attentive throughout our visit. When the food was served we were impressed by the attractive presentation, but the best part was definitely the taste. Every single dish was a pleasure. For starters we had edamame and crispy fried banh bao, served perfectly with a sweet dipping sauce. Our mains – peanut curry, pancetta and black tiger prawns – were outstanding. The meats were cooked to perfection, the bacon was marinated and the chicken was tender and juicy. Particularly noteworthy is the sushi platter that the chef put together for us - a fantastic selection in which the freshness and quality of the fish could clearly be tasted. The modern and stylish ambience of the restaurant rounded off our experience perfectly. We felt completely comfortable and will definitely come back. Absolute recommendation! 🍣

Very nice location, great ambience. Asian cuisine, you are only served by Asian employees. The food tastes very tasty. However, the hot dishes could be a little more in quantity. There is also a large selection of freshly prepared sushi dishes, also very tasty. The restaurant is easy to reach by public transport and highly recommended.

We were there with the family and surprisingly there were several dessert plates from the house for the birthday child and the whole family. There was even a small fountain and birthday music played through the restaurant. When it comes to food, the great variety is worth emphasizing; you can always try something new that isn't available anywhere else. The employees are very friendly and accommodating.

Actually a nice restaurant, also delicious dishes, unfortunately dogs are strictly forbidden, even small ones in the bag or locked dog buggy. I don't know that from any restaurant in Dessau and the surrounding area. It's a shame, you lose your guests to the competition, dogs are not a problem at Lou.

We celebrated our son's birthday yesterday, Saturday September 7th. Since he is drawn to Japan, we chose Japanese cuisine and were not disappointed in the Kaori Restaurant. Very fine dishes also beautifully presented to the eye. The service was very accommodating, friendly and fully responsive to the guest. We really enjoyed being guests here and will happily remember this restaurant for another occasion. Thank you very much

What can you say other than 5 stars? The food was super tasty, the 2 sauces for the summer rolls were awesome. The lychee lemonade is awesome and the little fruit skewer on top is a nice detail. There's absolutely nothing wrong with the sushi, with the homemade mayo it's simply delicious. The service is friendly and attentive, it couldn't be better :) I can highly recommend the matcha ice cream for dessert. There's nothing to complain about in terms of the ambience, nothing reminds you of the former McDonald's that used to be here ;)

Food was super tasty. The sushi is a dream.🤩 But other dishes are also very tasty and beautifully prepared. The mocktails and summer iced teas are also highly recommended. What's not so nice are the many annoying flies in the restaurant. I have no idea if anything could be done about it. Next time we'll definitely sit outside if the weather is right. Then maybe there's also the fifth star. 😉

We were here for lunch today. Both starter and main course were excellent. Rarely have I had such a delicious curry with chicken. The service was very attentive and the food was served quickly. The ambience is simply great. We will be back definitely.

We ate here two days in a row. It was fantastic! The first day sushi and spring rolls, the second day curry. The curry was served on a beautifully decorated plate with lots of crispy vegetables, a generous portion of duck and salad. And that for less than € 15. The prices and quality of the other dishes are also excellent! The restaurant is tastefully decorated but we enjoyed sitting on the terrace. The service is very pleasant.

Had a great meal here. It was very filling. Staff were very friendly. I hadn't planned on coming here but am happy I did. The only letdown was I was seated inside, and there were lots of flies.

Extremely delicious food and a diverse menu that makes me want to order everything all the time. Service has always been quick and friendly and I am amazed at how beautifully the former fast food restaurant has been redesigned.

We were there on a Monday evening for an informal business lunch. The shop was almost empty, but the waitresses were still present and very friendly. I particularly liked the family atmosphere among the employees. The cocktails and mocktails were all good, although some cocktail bars offer less. The sushi platter for two people didn't miss anything either. The wasabi could be a touch spicier, but that's not a deal-breaker. A special highlight was the dry ice volcano on the plate.

The food, service and ambience deserve 4-5 stars, but what pissed me off were the cocktails. For just under €7 a glass should not be 80% filled with ice. The cocktail itself was delicious but after a few sips it was gone and a glass was left 80% full of ice. The price/performance doesn't match at all.

This Asian restaurant is located in the former MC Donalds in Dessau. Everything was great. Ambiance, friendliness, food. I had, among other things, the sticky rice cake mochi. The filling tasted almondy and very good.

A good Vietnamese restaurant with various curries, bowls and sushi. What's special is the good selection of vegetarian and vegan dishes - as a vegetarian you don't just feel "tolerated". The Sushi Combo 2 is highly recommended. Nice staff, well-kept atmosphere. One of the best dinners we had in Dessau.

We ate here on Tuesday around 5 p.m. and there were quite a few tables occupied. Reservations definitely make sense during peak times. The restaurant is tastefully decorated and the service is great and courteous. The food is amazing, and the dishes/drinks from the summer menu are also recommended. Highly Recommended!

Food was very tasty, staff wasn't that nice. Ambience is still not comfortable. This time we were there at lunchtime and wanted to eat something in peace. Unfortunately we were processed within 45 minutes with starter, main course and dessert. Drinks were empty, no one asked if you wanted something else to drink… It's a shame because we had only heard good things about Kaori. I was disappointed with everything around it. You can't complain about food.

Gutes Lokal, sieht sauber und gepflegt aus. Das essen ist gut die Auswahl ist ausreichend. Die Frühlingsrollen sollte es noch in anderen Varianten geben. Insgesamt ist es zu empfehlen, wir waren sehr zufrieden.

Wow, that was good! We decided on different sushi variants and will try other dishes over the next few days. Super fresh and tasty! Ambiance is relaxed and pleasant. Moji, baked banana and Korean coffee were the perfect ending! Clear recommendation!!

Wir waren zum zweiten Mal in diesem Restaurant. Super Service, leckeres Essen und super angerichtet. Sehr zu empfehlen. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Ein Besuch lohnt sich definitiv. Die Gerichte werden sehr ansprechend angerichtet und stehen dem geschmacklich auch in nichts nach. Das Ambiente ist schön anzusehen es könnte aber zwischen den Tischen etwas mehr Platz sein. Es macht Sinn sich die Speisekarte vorher anzusehen, da die Auswahl durchaus kompliziert sein kann. Parkmöglichkeiten zu finden ist nicht ganz so einfach. Wenn man sich entschließen sollte das Parkhaus vom Dessau-Center zu nutzen sollte man bedenken, daß der Kassenautomat nach 21 Uhr nicht mehr zugänglich ist. Es gibt keinen Nachtzugang.

Sehr gut! Hier passt einfach alles. Sehr schönes Ambiente, sehr freundliche Bedienung, die Gerichte sehr frisch und lecker! Sehr einfallsreiches Anrichten der Gerichte auf dem Teller, zum Teil wird mit Trockeneis gearbeitet, was für wunderschöne Effekte sorgt. Habe ich so noch nicht gesehen. Absolut empfehlenswert!!!

Nach mehreren Besuchen sind wir immer noch überzeugt, grosse Auswahl an Sushi und asiatischen Gerichten. Curry, Salat, Suppe, Dessert alles schmeckte bis jetzt hervorragend. Man sitzt drinnen und draußen okay, die Betreiber haben sich grosse Mühe mit der Dekoration gegeben aber man sieht natürlich, dass dieses Restaurant mal ein Fastfood Laden war… nichts desto trotz empfehlenswert!

Ein sehr schönes Lokal und die Speisen sind perfekt. Das Sushi ist der Wahnsinn. Preislich muss man schon etwas mehr einrechnen. Leider haben wir sehr lange auf unser Essen warten müssen ( ü. 1h) Getränke wurden auch nur mit Nachfragen nachgereicht. Aber es war auch sehr voll und somit haben wir gern gewartet.

Wir hatten das Vergnügen in einer Runde von Schulfreunden im "KAORI" zu speisen. Unser Erlebnis war durchweg positiv. Die Vielfalt und Qualität des Sushis war beeindruckend. Die Auswahl reichte von klassischen Rolls bis zu kreativen Variationen und war durchweg schmackhaft und liebevoll mit Eisdampf angerichtet. Besonders hervorzuheben ist die Frische und Fülle an hochwertigem Fisch in den Sushi-Stücken. Der Service, obwohl bis zur Getränkebestellung etwas verzögert, überzeugte durch die außergewöhnliche Freundlichkeit des Kellners. Nach der ersten Bestellrunde verlief alles reibungslos und zufriedenstellend. Die Getränkeauswahl war ansprechend, und wir fühlten uns gut betreut. Das Ambiente im "KAORI" ist gemütlich und traditionell gestaltet. Die weitläufigen Fenster sorgen für eine angenehme Tageslichtatmosphäre, die das Esserlebnis noch angenehmer macht. Die Sauberkeit im gesamten Restaurant war vorbildlich, was zu einem rundum angenehmen Aufenthalt beitrug. Die Flexibilität bei der individuellen Bezahlung unserer größeren Runde, sowohl mit Karte als auch in bar, erleichterte den Abschluss unseres Besuchs. Es gab keinerlei Unannehmlichkeiten, und wir konnten das Restaurant mit einem positiven Eindruck verlassen. Insgesamt können wir das "KAORI" uneingeschränkt empfehlen. Die exzellente Qualität der Speisen, der freundliche Service und das angenehme Ambiente machen es zu einer empfehlenswerten Adresse für Liebhaber von hochwertigem Sushi und asiatischer Küche. Freundlich und sehr gute Speisen

Wir waren bereits öfter hier zu Gast und immer zufrieden, diesmal war ich aber echt enttäuscht. Wie jedes Mal war das Essen sehr gut und besonders möchte ich den sehr tollen und kindgerechten Teller für unsere Jüngste erwähnen. Der Service aber war alles andere als gut. Wir hatten einen bestimmten Tisch reserviert,der dann nicht zur Verfügung stand, etwas worauf wir uns besonders gefreut haben. Als Entschuldigung ging die erste Getränkerunde auf's Haus. Das war dann noch okay, aber es gab auch keine weitere. Ich wollte hier gerne mit meiner Familie einen schönen Abend zu meinem Geburtstag verbringen . Wir bekamen die bestellten Getränke und unser Essen, aber dann war alles vorbei. Es war nicht mehr möglich ein Dessert, oder weitere Getränke zu bestellen und nur nach mehrfacher Nachfrage konnten wir endlich zahlen, obwohl das Restaurant nicht sehr gut besucht war. Sehr schade!!!

Nachdem das Essen serviert wurde, kam keine Bedienung mehr zum Tisch um evtl. noch eine Runde getränke zu servieren....sind dann nach dem Essen gegangen da sowas als Service eher schlecht zu bewerten ist

Ich habe in meinem gesamten Leben noch nie so gut asiatisch gegessen. Trotz des vollbesuchten Lokales war das Essen für 2 innerhalb von 20 Minuten serviert auf unseren Plätzen. Ich bin total begeistert, wie liebevoll und lecker alles serviert wurde und wie fantastisch es geschmeckt hat! Top Empfehlung!

Leckere Rollen , bestellt 221, 223, 226 und 269 und 3 Gläser Rotwein . Das 269 hat mir am besten gefallen. Dafür haben wir 61,40 € bezahlt

Ein schickes Lokal mit asiatischen Flair. Nette,schnelle Bedienung und dann der Höhepunkt das Essen! Mega Lecker, extra Wünsche kein Problem. Wir waren sehr begeistert, die Menge vom Essen ideal, toller Geschmack, ein Genuss auf andere Art und Weise, als man sonst kennt. Kleine Bemerkung wenn die Teller warm wären, würde das Essen länger earm bleiben auf dem Teller,immerhin möchte man genießen!!! P.S. Getränke für meinen Geschmack überteuert!
