LOTUS Asia Imbiss mit Sushi-Bar in Zella-Mehlis

I was there shortly after it opened. It's become a very nice restaurant. It's normal for a restaurant to have a few teething problems after starting as a snack bar. So I'd say it has a great atmosphere and the food is, as always, very good. I wish you continued success and only pleasant customers.

We ordered takeaway sushi for dinner. The selection was plentiful (including vegetarian options), and the sushi was clearly prepared fresh (as seen in the display). All the dishes (sushi, edamame, seaweed salad) were outstanding in terms of taste. The price-performance ratio was also excellent. However, we have to deduct one star for the long wait. We were informed of a one-hour preparation time when we ordered. After that time had passed, we went back to the restaurant and were asked to wait another 20 minutes. We were allowed to spend this time in the restaurant, but we were more or less ignored – we would have liked to have a drink to pass the time. Some of the staff seemed very stressed and annoyed, and new customers were turned away at the door, even though there were tables available and the restaurant isn't particularly large. If the food hadn't been so outstanding, it would easily have only received one star. Here, you pay for the food, not the service.

We wanted to order food by phone for pickup and takeaway, but unfortunately, no one answered the phone, and the second phone number didn't work. I tried three times – without success. And lately, the news hasn't been good. Wait times at the restaurant have sometimes exceeded an hour, and then they ran out of duck because it was being used for other orders. Unfortunately, it seems they're still only running the place with two people, which simply isn't enough for a restaurant. They seem to lack a clear plan. Hopefully, things will improve soon. The food is actually quite tasty.

I went to the new restaurant today. I really liked it; they've renovated and decorated it very nicely. The sushi was delicious and I would recommend it. The dessert was good too.

It was delicious 🤤. The atmosphere is also great 👌🏻; it seems to have been recently renovated. Highly recommended.

The restaurant reopened in December 2025. Stylishly decorated and cozy. The service is friendly and the food is excellent! Parking is available right outside; I recommend making a reservation. We are delighted with the new restaurant and will gladly return!

Very nice service, excellent sushi!

The food tasted okay, but the order was completely wrong. When you pick up your food and half it's missing, it's really annoying. When you ask, they justify it by saying, "Well, that's just the way it is." What's also questionable is the size of the sushi rolls; they almost couldn't get any smaller. I'm happy to pay good money for good food. But here I just feel like I've been ripped off... It's just a snack bar, but I wouldn't recommend it either.

The food and service were absolutely delicious and very plentiful! The ambiance could be improved; for example, the chair upholstery is worn, the Easter and Christmas decorations are gone, and the customer restroom is a bit of a mess! But still, 5 stars because of the delicious food; they really specialize in takeout! Highly recommended!

The food is always good, and the sushi is also fresh and delicious. Really OK for a small Asian shop, but the ambience isn't quite as appealing to linger in.

Essen hat schon mal besser geschmeckt

Restaurant ist eher auf take away eingestellt, Ausstattung ist eher einfach, Service aber sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.

Sushi wird frisch gemacht und Ingwer ist frisch, leckere Gerichte, freundliche Bedienung DAUMEN HOCH

Sehr nette Mitarbeiter, Inhaber geführtes kleines Bistro,- Preis / Leistung sehr gut,- da kann man immer wieder essen gehen.

Wir kommen gerne, das Essen ist lecker die Preise stimmen und das Personal ist auch super.

Das beste Sushi was ich bis heute gegessen habe.

Die zwei geben sich richtig Mühe ihren Gästen jeden Wunsch zu erfüllen, da wartet man gern auch mal etwas auf seine Bestellung. Ich war mit unserer Bestellung rundum zufrieden und kann LOTUS Asia Imbiss wärmstens empfehlen. Wenn wir wieder in Zella-Mehlis sind, kommen wir gern wieder. Macht weiter so.

Mehr als echt Super brauch ich nicht Schreiben, es schmeckt und sind freundlich das ist das wichtigste.

Gut gefüllte Boxen beim Essen zum mitnehmen. Freundliche Bedienung und Preislich auch vertretbar.

Die Zutaten sind frisch, das Essen ist lecker, Ich war 5 Tage hintereinander Essen. Nicht einmal wurde ich enttäuscht. Preis Leistung Verhältnis ist unschlagbar.

Erste Liga weil das Essen außergewöhnlich gut gewürzt war.Die Entengerichte waren sehr ,sehr lecker und reichlich.Der Service von Der Familie war sehr persönlich und aufmerksam.Also,dieses Restaurant sollte immer voll sein.wir wohnen auf Fehmarn,aber so gut kochen unsere Asiaten nicht,aber auch nicht soooo schlecht

Sehr netter kleiner Familienbetrieb. Frisches Essen mit frischen Zutaten. Kein Kokosmilch gepansche wie in der näheren Umgebung.

Ich kann diesen Imbiss nur empfehlen, lassen sogar länger auf, obwohl man erst kurz vor Ende der Öffnungszeiten ankommt. Service war nett und zuvorkommend. Sie haben zwar etwas gebraucht um das Essen zuzubereiten, dafür aber lecker u d frisch- dafür nehme ich gerne auch mit dir Zeit zu warten, wenn das Ergebnis stimmt. Das Sushi war so lecker, das ich sogar noch am gleichen Tag wieder Gast war. Gerne wieder

Speisen sind zu empfehlen ,preiswertes Büffetessen , flottes Personal wir gehen mindestens 1x im Monat hier essen .

Schneller service nette Mitarbeiter und gute preise

Egal was wir bisher bestellt hatten, alles war wirklich gut. Gerade beim Sushi gibt's ein paar echte Leckerlis, zum sehr fairen Preis. Die Atmosphäre ist nicht so das ich drinnen essen wollen würde aber zum abholen ist der Laden wirklich nur zu empfehlen!

Das Essen ist gut. Da gibt's nichts zu meckern. Doch die Location an sich ist, gelinde gesagt, gewöhnungsbedürftig. Also alles zum Mitnehmen ist empfehlenswert.
