We ate here during our vacation and will definitely come back next time. The food was excellent and the service was very friendly.

We ordered 3 schnitzels and ribs for pickup today. What can I say, I overate 🤣 It was absolutely amazing, really delicious. We ordered the ribs in the extra-large portion, and yes, the portion was huge. The fries were also very tasty. However, I would have preferred to pick them up earlier than 8 p.m., but that's understandable when everything was full. Highly recommended. Keep up the good work 👌🏻

The food was truly delicious; we've never had such a top-notch schnitzel. Juicy on the inside and crispy on the outside. The service was also very friendly, and the value for money was excellent. We'll definitely be back!

Yes, the portion (large) is HUGE. The veal au four is really filling and makes you gasp for breath. One minor annoyance is that everyone is on first-name terms. I've never seen schnitzel galore.

Overall, our visit to the Schnitzelhaus was very pleasant. The ambiance was inviting and cozy – you immediately feel welcome. The extremely friendly service, who were always attentive and courteous, deserves special mention. The food was delicious and freshly prepared. The wait was about 25 minutes, which is entirely reasonable considering the quality. Important to note: Advance reservations are essential. During our visit, several guests without reservations had to leave because there was no more space available. There's certainly still room for improvement, for example, in managing the influx of guests or speeding up service during peak times – but overall, the Schnitzelhaus is definitely worth a visit.

We think the schnitzels there are super delicious. You can choose between pork, veal, and turkey. Side dishes include various types of fries and homemade sauces.

We've been here four times now, but unfortunately, we've never been able to get anything. Last weekend, we almost managed, but then the second waitress came and suddenly everything was reserved again... Well, there were five tables free and no room for two people... so, no, we won't try again. Others are better and friendlier at it...!!!

Great food. Large portions. Quality is high. And it's well-priced. As a bonus, dogs are welcome. The staff were super friendly. And they're getting modern. There's already a robot driving around! Very funny. Top-notch restaurant. The restrooms were clean and fresh. That usually reflects a restaurant's character. And that's true here. Everything was well-prepared and delicious. Lots of schnitzel choices, but also excellent spare ribs. Size M turned out to be huge. But you can take any leftovers home, which is nice. Very happy with them!

Das beste Schweineschnitzel, was ich in den letzten Jahren gegessen habe. Die Soße war ebenfalls gut, hätte aber für meinen Geschmack etwas mehr sein dürfen. Getränke werden überwiegend von einem Roboter gebracht, der ganz leise durch das Restaurant tollt. Die Bedienung war sehr nett und die Preise absolut im Rahmen, so dass wir das Restaurant nur empfehlen können. Am Sonntag scheint eine Reservierung auf jeden Fall empfehlenswert zu sein.

Quick, inexpensive and very tasty

In my opinion, there are only two options when it comes to schnitzel restaurants: either a black sheep that rests on the fact that many people like schnitzel, or a place that really does schnitzel. Schnitzel and Co definitely belong to the latter. Very friendly staff, good ambience and excellent schnitzels in many variations and 3 sizes. We were also thrilled with the turkey nuggets for our kids. You expect ready-made things à la MCD... but you get home-cut, home-breaded and deep-fried nuggets that are perfect for children because of their seasoning (less salt, no pepper). Mega!

Very good restaurant with fresh ingredients (the knocking noises of the schnitzel meat could be heard from the kitchen) and extremely fair prices. In particular, the midday schnitzels during the week start at just €9. The service was also courteous and on point. Gladly again at any time!

Waren zum Mittagessen da. Ein Schnitzelhaus wie man es selten findet. Super! Top Schnitzel voller super Geschmack, saftig und ohne Tadel, ebenso die Beilagen top. Wer echte Thüringer Hausmannskost sucht ist hier richtig. Die Bedienung ist mega! Das Haus ist ein absoluter Geheimtipp! Essen zu einem fairen Preis, was auch noch als ein Vorbild für andere Schnitzelhäuser diensn kann! Uneingeschränkt empfehlenswert!

We have enjoyed coming here for many years. Whether it's for Christmas or family celebrations, we can only recommend it. The quality is great. A very big compliment to the service staff, even in the most stressful situations, they always have a smile on their faces and a kind word for everyone.

We ate well and would have carried on properly ... there were other guests present next to us, about 25 people, who were asked to leave at half past ten o'clock ... it's a shame the evening was nice and ended abruptly

We had reserved by email the day before and were there 10 minutes before opening. You can park directly in front of the restaurant. The service was very friendly and also fulfilled the child's special wishes. The schnitzel portions are very large (you can choose small, normal and large) and extremely tasty. We can only recommend everyone to eat there. If we are in the area again, we will definitely make reservations here again. 😋

02/09/2024: Very friendly service, everything was clean and tastefully designed. Top food at affordable prices. We ate there twice during our week-long vacation, despite a half-hour drive. The schnitzels are super tasty. Special praise also for the side dishes, especially the best fries I have ever eaten. They are just perfect - cross, but not burnt and you can still taste the potatoes they are made of. As a funny gimmick, an operating robot is sometimes used. UPDATE from August 30, 2024: Even six months after our first visit, we ended up at the Schnitzelhaus despite the 100km journey. Service and quality are still just as first class as they were in February. And the schnitzels are still the best quality, both in terms of portion size and taste. And I have already written above about the best fries ever. UPDATE from October 31, 2024: Short vacation for 3 days to Thuringia, twice to Schnitzel & Co. 😀. Food and service excellent as always. Again 5 out of 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻... 😉

I can only agree with Ms. Götze: The chaos in the service is an unreasonable expectation for every guest. Amateur excuses to get rid of omissions do not hide the dilentantism... Anyone who does not manage to bring an order to the table after around 1.5 hours is doing something wrong - once and never again!

What a juice shop, service has rarely been so incompetent! At 11:45 a.m. we ordered two schnitzels. When we asked at 1:10 p.m. whether we had been forgotten, the waitress said arrogantly that we were next. Apparently no one noticed that our ten-month-old baby was slowly but surely becoming restless. When we still had no food on the table 15 minutes later, the staff suddenly noticed that something had apparently gone wrong in the kitchen. Strangely enough, all tables had received their food by then, even those who arrived significantly later than us. So if I don't notice this as a waitress, then maybe I'm out of place in my job. The fact that we no longer wanted our food was met with incomprehension. And as a thank you for this inability to forward our order to the kitchen, we were also allowed to pay for our drinks. It should go without saying that with so much incompetence they are on the house. It's a shame you can't give a 0 star rating...
