We had reserved by email the day before and were there 10 minutes before opening. You can park directly in front of the restaurant. The service was very friendly and also fulfilled the child's special wishes. The schnitzel portions are very large (you can choose small, normal and large) and extremely tasty. We can only recommend everyone to eat there. If we are in the area again, we will definitely make reservations here again. 😋

02/09/2024: Very friendly service, everything was clean and tastefully designed. Top food at affordable prices. We ate there twice during our week-long vacation, despite a half-hour drive. The schnitzels are super tasty. Special praise also for the side dishes, especially the best fries I have ever eaten. They are just perfect - cross, but not burnt and you can still taste the potatoes they are made of. As a funny gimmick, an operating robot is sometimes used. UPDATE from August 30, 2024: Even six months after our first visit, we ended up at the Schnitzelhaus despite the 100km journey. Service and quality are still just as first class as they were in February. And the schnitzels are still the best quality, both in terms of portion size and taste. And I have already written above about the best fries ever. UPDATE from October 31, 2024: Short vacation for 3 days to Thuringia, twice to Schnitzel & Co. 😀. Food and service excellent as always. Again 5 out of 5 stars 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 and 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻... 😉

What a juice shop, service has rarely been so incompetent! At 11:45 a.m. we ordered two schnitzels. When we asked at 1:10 p.m. whether we had been forgotten, the waitress said arrogantly that we were next. Apparently no one noticed that our ten-month-old baby was slowly but surely becoming restless. When we still had no food on the table 15 minutes later, the staff suddenly noticed that something had apparently gone wrong in the kitchen. Strangely enough, all tables had received their food by then, even those who arrived significantly later than us. So if I don't notice this as a waitress, then maybe I'm out of place in my job. The fact that we no longer wanted our food was met with incomprehension. And as a thank you for this inability to forward our order to the kitchen, we were also allowed to pay for our drinks. It should go without saying that with so much incompetence they are on the house. It's a shame you can't give a 0 star rating...

I can only agree with Ms. Götze: The chaos in the service is an unreasonable expectation for every guest. Amateur excuses to get rid of omissions do not hide the dilentantism... Anyone who does not manage to bring an order to the table after around 1.5 hours is doing something wrong - once and never again!

Four of us ate there today. The store was full. But the nice waitress made a table ready for us. Despite the restaurant being really full, we were served quickly and in a very friendly manner. Order was taken and everything was freshly prepared. We didn't have to wait long, even though the hut was full! Admirable!!! The portions were really generous and very tasty. And at a really very good price-performance ratio. And despite all the work, the waitress was always friendly and willing to have a joke. This is how I imagine a pleasant lunch. Thank you again for that. If we happen to be in the area again, we'll definitely be happy to come back.

Super delicious food!!! Schnitzel in S M and L with cheese gratin or without. All side dishes: fries, sweet potato fries, croquettes, etc. Salt was super tasty and the ribs were amazing!!! And these sizes are really correct. Mega tasty and always full. The big disadvantage is really the service… We waited 1 hour for drinks, unfortunately not the first time. The table next to us waited an hour for his bill and then had to pack the rest of the food in aluminum foil himself?! Really great with sauce and schnitzel and without any accompaniments. Really disappointing with such great food. Improvement is definitely needed!!! The employees could perhaps say in advance at the table that it will take longer. But unfortunately that didn't happen.

We were assigned our table and customers who arrived about 20 minutes after us were served before us. After 20 minutes we asked for drinks. 25 minutes later the food order was taken. My wife's food was delivered lukewarm. When we announced that we were ready, my wife was allowed to pack her own food. A piece of aluminum foil was placed for her to wrap up. When you see that there is still more than half of the food on the plate, you can also ask if everything is good, right? It took over 45 minutes between sitting down and the food being brought. The food tasted good again. Sad but unfortunately fact.

If you want to eat delicious food, this is the right place for you. We come very often and enjoy coming. The waitresses are very friendly and accommodating. The price-performance ratio is right. The selection of dishes is varied and there is something for everyone. A taste experience for the whole family.

I was there exactly three times. The first time the food and service was good. The second time the food and service was very good. And the third time it was an absolute disaster. The schnitzel was still ok, but the fries were a disgrace. Totally glassy and very dark. A sign that they had been in the oil twice. But the highlight was the mushroom sauce. There was a small mushroom (cut into slices) in there. There was no trace of any other side dish. When the bill was 2.50 euros more expensive, as I calculated myself, the peak had been reached. There had already been complaints at the neighboring table about the bill I was wondering. Well, the waitress has to finance your move somehow. And I, an idiot, also gave a tip. In any case, you won't see me there again. Luckily, there are restaurants that know how to make Viennese schnitzel with mushrooms and fries.

Super tasty schnitzels, whether classic veal/beef or poultry. Really large portions (the small schnitzel was more than enough for me as an adult) and if you're a little hungry, that's also catered for. The sauce and side dishes were also really tasty.

I walked in and thought to myself "great, it's just a bar..." All you see is a rustic bar and not really anything else, but if you're in the restaurant industry you'll be pleasantly surprised. It's nice and bright and there's plenty of space, I think you should make a reservation at peak times. There is also a vegetable schnitzel if needed. We had the dippers, super tasty and fresh. Schnitzel Au Four - for me size "S" plentiful and super tasty, fresh and the best thing about it - no gristle, no fat... super tender. Schnitzel al Forno - schnitzel baked in Bolognese (with minced beef). Mega hot, super tasty. Nothing to complain about there either. Junior's nuggets weren't run-of-the-mill nuggets, but breaded in super thin strips. Also super tasty The fries we had were nice, big fries, again not run-of-the-mill fries and not full of fat either. They were all very successful dishes Definitely needs to be repeated! Clear recommendation! The toilets were clean. Our highlights besides the food was the service cat, which was really cute (no, not a real cat, but a robot cat) And at the end there was soft ice cream and it tasted really good. We paid around €50 for everything including drinks.
