Very nice mountain lodge where hikers are warmly welcome and always have a place. The food was super delicious. The landlord was very friendly and took the time to talk to the guests. He recommended a good bargain to us. For us one of the best forest restaurants in Thuringia. You have to have been here.

The Bergde is a beautiful hiking destination from Rondell Oberhof. It gives the feeling of a cozy ski lodge. There is a sufficient menu for drinking. The food (can only judge what is available outside) is rather poor. Ordered Viennese - got cheese wiener (without pointing this out beforehand). A simple barbecue stand would probably suffice as an outdoor dining option. The staff was super nice, but in my opinion poorly organized and slow (and probably hard to find there too). Despite everything, recommended as a hiking destination.

Great recommendation! Super friendly owners and excellent food. The Kaiserschmarrn is highly recommended! The owner gave us tips for our way back and gave us the best advice. Everything is really perfect here, we would love to come back.

Not a very big, but very cozy location and very nice staff! We only had coffee and a Kaiserschmarrn, it was quick and tasty! Totally ok for a quick stop for lunch!

Traditional mountain lodge with a rustic atmosphere, photos from the turn of the century and old skis on the walls. The food is good, home-style with the best quality at good prices. Always worth a hike.

What a surprise in the middle of the forest. I completely overlooked it when planning my tour of the “Zunft und Kloß” hiking trail. I was even more looking forward to a little refreshment. Without a doubt, very tasty. Quiet and relaxed during the week. You should plan some time every now and then on the weekend. But the food is always very tasty.

Despite the full hut 😅 yesterday on the holiday there was a well-rehearsed, smooth and, above all, friendly service. Small menu but good quality food. Beer from the Cross⛰️ is always delicious. The 2 hour journey 🚵🏻‍♂️ over hill and dale was worth it. The mining lodge is a cozy and inviting place, ideal for a rest after a hike or a trip to the Thuringian Forest. Beautifully located in the Thuringian Forest. From Oberhof - Rondell it takes a good hour to walk to the building. The food was very tasty and beautifully presented. Price-performance fits. It's certainly very cozy inside in winter.

Quaint little pub with good food.

Rustic but very good! We stopped by the mountain hut today after a hike. Since the restaurant was very busy, it took a little longer to eat, but it tasted good and we were very satisfied on the way home. We would be happy to come back if we get the chance.

Urige Location mit großem Kuchenangebot. Schnelle Bedienung, geschmeckt hat es auch. Ist auf jeden Fall einen Besuch wert.

Schöner Zwischenstop beim Wandern mit guter Lage. Das Essen ist sehr gut, nur ein bisschen teuer. Um die Mittagszeiten kann es auch mal voll werden, weswegen man lieber etwas früher herkommen sollte.

Sehr schöne Bergbaude mit Liebe zum Detail. Ich war zweimal dort und hab mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Getränke und auch die Speisen waren top. Die gefüllten Thüringer Klöße mit Pilzsoße und auch der Kaiserschmarrn....klasse!! Obwohl viel los war, kamen unsere Speisen recht flott. Ihr seid ein gutes Team!!

Es lohnt sich wieder den Veilchenbrunnen als Wanderziel anzusteuern. Wir sind sehr froh und zufrieden, dass er wieder bewirtet wird, und das auch noch so gut. Wir kommen gern wieder.

Tolle Ausflugsgaststätte. Man kommt nur zu Fuß oder mit dem Fahrrad hin, aber dafür hat man sich dann auch das leckere Essen verdient. Tolle Auswahl und sehr lecker.

Wir sind heute hier beim Wandern vom Rondell Parkplatz vorbei gekommen und haben uns sofort wohl gefühlt. Die Käsepätzle waren mega und auch die Spinatknödel. Danach auf den Weg noch ein SorbetEis mitgenommen. Definitiv hier wieder einkehren. Bitte nichts am Konzept ändern. So einfach nur perfekt!

Tolle Bergbaude, klein aber fein. Die neuen Betreiber geben sich sehr viel Mühe. Immer wieder ein Besuch wert, kann man wirklich nur empfehlen👍.

Super Waldhütte. Waren an einem heißen Tag hier auf der Terrasse. Sehr leckeres regionales Bier. Und sehr leckeres Essen - so lecker das ich nur noch ein Bild vom leeren Teller habe :-))))
