L'Osteria Toscana in Bad Füssing

Well, what can I say? There's not much to say. There were four of us at dinner. I ordered bread dumplings in chanterelle cream sauce. The "cream sauce" tasted awful, and the dumplings were hard and dry. I make this dish, as you can see in the picture, even better at home. (It's no big deal.) At 8:30 p.m. we wanted to order another glass of wine. The waiter's response: We're closing soon. Sorry. But if you're open until 9:00 p.m., you don't throw a customer out at 8:30 p.m. It was our first and last time there. There are far, far better restaurants in this area. I'm a little annoyed that I didn't take photos of the other dishes. By the way: And the pumpkin soup was a joke, too. If you're going to go for "Feinspitz," then top it with a nice layer of whipped cream, garnish with pumpkin seeds, and finish it off with pumpkin seed oil. What we got looked like it came from the cafeteria.

We were there two weeks ago! The restaurant was cold! The staff at the bar were unfriendly! Mr. Maier didn't even bother to greet the few guests!

Excellent service and great quality. The price is also very good.

A must for us every time we're in Bad Füssing. The food is excellent and the service, including the owner, is outstanding. Not to be missed. We're already looking forward to our next visit.

We've eaten at the restaurant several times for dinner. We've never been disappointed; all the dishes are very tasty and of excellent quality. The service is also very good. Whenever we're in Bad Füssing, Havel's Restaurant is a must for us.
