Zum Maxwirt - Restaurant und Biergarten mit Sonnenterrasse in Bad Füssing

Wir waren für eine Woche auf dem Max1 und hatten Halbpension gebucht. Das Frühstück und Abendessen war top. Sehr netter Service von allen Mitarbeiter. Kommen gerne wieder.

Erfahrenes und charmantes Servicepersonal. Frühstücksbuffet zeigt sich mit guter Qualität und schöner Auswahl. Essen (mit Klassikern wie Schnitzel oder Currywurst mit Pommes) im Restaurant von guter Qualität. Niemand musste lange aufs Essen warten. Gute Weinkarte. Danke für eine schöne Zeit.

Das Biergulasch beim Maxwirt war hervorragend, die Bedienung hat uns auf Anfrage Spazierwege empfohlen und die Lage ganz ruhig. Dafür, dass der Maxwirt hauptsächlich ein Campingplatz Wirt ist, um Längen besser als erwartet!

Spontan, da das andere Lokal in Oberbernberg am Inn zu hatte- waren echt positiv überrascht! Sehr freundlich, sauber und lecker essen, zudem große Portionen Zu empfehlen

Das Restaurant ist nett gestaltet, das Personal ist weitgehend freundlich, nur das Essen ist im Vergleich zu den Vorjahren wirklich nicht mehr gut und weit weg von guter bayrischer Küche, wie es sie früher beim Max Wirt gab. In Zukunft werden wir auswärts essen.

Guter Service und leckeres Essen

Das Ambiente ist wirklich schön und man fühlt sich grundsätzlich wohl. Leider finde ich das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis aber nicht ganz passend. Beim Hauptgericht müssen die Beilagen extra bezahlt werden, wodurch die Preise auf der Karte zunächst günstiger wirken als sie am Ende tatsächlich sind. Für ein Schnitzel mit Beilage landet man dann schnell bei knapp 20 €. Die Portion war dafür meiner Meinung nach jedoch deutlich kleiner, als man es normalerweise erwarten würde. Schade, denn geschmacklich und vom Ambiente her hat das Restaurant durchaus Potenzial.

Das Restaurant profitiert von seiner Nähe zum Campingplatz. Dafür könnte das Essen aber wirklich besser sein. Wir hatten eine lauwarme Suppe und drei Käseknödel, die leider eine viel zu feste Konsistenz hatten. Auch schade um das gute Augustiner Bier, das viel zu kalt serviert wurde. Kann mit wenig Aufwand besser werden!

Ein sehr nettes Lokal mit sehr gutem Service und leckerem Essen. Für ein Lokal am Campingplatz sehr zu loben!!

Das Essen war hervorragend, die Bedienung top sympathisch und Preise überraschend angemessen. Das Lokal ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Klare Empfehlung.

Für's Essen gibt es nur 2 Sterne da es zwei Gerichte gar nicht mehr gab und auch keine alkoholfreien Cocktails. Finde ich für so ein Restaurant nicht ok da die Speisekarte schon sehr übersichtlich ist.

Wir waren heute Abend mit einer Gruppe von acht Personen beim Essen. Auf der Speisekarte wurde die Currywurst für 5.90€ beworben. Ich dachte mir schon dass hier etwas nicht stimmen könne, hab sie bestellt. Hat wie immer sehr gut geschmeckt. Als die Rechnung kam waren wir alle recht verwundert. Die Currywurst kostete tatsächlich 5.90€. Die Pommes 2.40€ und die Soße ( ! ) 2.90€. Warum kann man nicht einfach den Preis für das komplette Gericht in der Speisekarte aufführen? Tut mir leid, aber das ist schwer verständlich. Alles passt super in diesem Lokal aber so eine Aktion ist für mein dafürhalten total unnötig. Ich hoffe dass bei unserem nächsten Besuch keine solchen Experimente auf der Karte stehen. Heidi und Hans Kreileder-Seidl

Wir sind Wiederholungstäter und waren wieder absolut begeistert. Die Maronensuppe, ein Gedicht; das Rehragout vorzüglich und das Knödeltrio lecker. Immer wieder empfehlenswert.

Schönes modern eingerichtetes Lokal,freundliches Personal,gutes Essen, Preis -leistung passt. Wir waren schon mehrfach hier, immer wieder sehr gut.

The food wasn't all that great. We had to practically drag every bit of information out of the server. And to top it all off, we found the extremely high ceiling a bit uncomfortable.

Anyone entering the restaurant from the campsite will notice that there's no menu displayed 👎. The restaurant itself is nicely decorated and makes a good impression. The menu is clear and concise. Unfortunately, I can't comment on the taste of the beef goulash I ordered. The sauce was so incredibly spicy that it brought tears to my eyes, and I couldn't taste anything else. This level of spiciness was only described as "spicy" on the menu. When I spoke to the staff, I was told that I wasn't the only guest who found the goulash too spicy. Why wasn't it toned down then? The meat was very tender, and the bread dumplings were tasty, though perhaps a little thin.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Absolutely recommended! 🧡 We came here for the duck dinner and it was simply fantastic. The duck was wonderfully crispy on the outside and tender and juicy on the inside – perfectly cooked! The side dishes were also fresh, beautifully presented, and perfectly complemented. You can tell that the food here is prepared with quality and passion. The service was attentive, friendly, and warm without being intrusive. The ambiance is cozy and well-maintained – you immediately feel at ease. A thoroughly enjoyable evening – we will definitely be back! 🦆🤍

Unfortunately, I have to give a bad review today. Last night, I went to eat at the Maxwirt, as I have done many times before. I ordered tagliarini with shrimp, which I've had before. It was okay, but not as good as the last time. Later that evening, I felt very sick, and I don't want to describe what happened afterward in detail here. This afternoon, I went to the restaurant and was immediately referred to the chef. He was so full of himself and said he wouldn't give out anything that smelled or was bad; there wasn't even an apology. I told him that I hadn't eaten anything else during the day except for a few cookies. I would have expected the restaurant to speak to me on a different level; things can always happen.

Great evening and great food. I'd be happy to go back anytime. Highly recommended 😃

It doesn't get any better than this. Tafelspitz and sausage salad

The food was okay, but tasted of pre-made sauce and warmed-up ingredients. The fact that our order arrived very quickly supports our suspicion. The espresso was awful...unfortunately, it was only lukewarm. The service staff was very friendly and professional. Card payment wasn't possible with any of our three cards; perhaps the device is missing an update? So far, we haven't had any problems paying. Given the good reviews, we expected more overall. Next time we'll go back to the pizzeria next door, where we were completely impressed with the food the day before.

We had dinner here in a very cozy atmosphere. The food was delicious and appetizingly presented, and the service was excellent.

Unfortunately, the food was only lukewarm! And although the waiter was very friendly, complaining wouldn't have been helpful either, as he rarely showed up when the restaurant was busy...

We can only recommend the restaurant; it's very friendly and accommodating, and the value for money is absolutely fine.

It was my first time here, and the food was very, very good. The whole atmosphere was fantastic. It's a shame they don't offer snacks or sausage salad. But I highly recommend coming here.

Everything was truly excellent, a big compliment to the food and the service...we visited the restaurant as a group from out of town, and of course made a reservation. Everything is just right here...perhaps a smaller selection of vegetarian dishes, but that's just a side note...we'll definitely be back...thank you so much.

We've been serving delicious food for years, and we've never been disappointed. Quite the opposite. The excellent food is complemented by the friendly service and short delivery times. We'd be happy to return.

We arrived at the campsite on Saturday. We didn't have a table reservation, but there were four adults and a toddler. We got a table. We all had a great meal. Highly recommended.

Great restaurant, great food, great service

The food was delicious Only the service is terrible because they forget you..... If you speak to them about it, you get the answer that it is busy. But they have not forgotten the other tables. And if you make such a mistake, solve it, but tut mir leid is not good. If you do not see the customer, he goes somewhere else. We have been coming here for years and it was always good. Busyness should never be an excuse.

On Friday evening Bavarian buffet with live music. Cosy and very good food. Saturday a la carte dinner. Was very good.

We were very disappointed. First of all I have to say that the quality of the food was good and it tasted good throughout. But... the selection of dishes leaves a lot to be desired, as long as the restaurant is overly advertised in the brochure. If there were nearly as many dishes as drinks, then it would be good. Unfortunately we didn't eat very well today. First of all, I wanted the garlic bread with sour cream. Then only dry bread came because there was no sour cream or anything like that. I wish I could have been asked if I would like it too. Afterwards I had three kinds of dumplings. There should be one with beetroot, one with chanterelles and one with cheese. I got three of the same. After asking, I was told that the beetroot had just lost its color 🙈 There was nothing with beetroot, they all had cheese. I can joke with myself. I thought it was really cheeky.

Ein modern ausgestattetes Restaurant stylisch und doch stimmig! Die Karte ist kurz gehalten, was wir gut finden. Wir hatten einen Zwiebelrostbraten bestellt und waren begeistert. Das Fleisch war sehr zart - auf den Punkt gebraten- von sehr ordentlicher Größe. Ein frischer Salat war dabei und musste nicht, wie bei vielen anderen Restaurants mittlerweile üblich, extra bezahlt werden. Die Getränke werden serviert wie es sein sollte. Das Preis/Leistungsverhältnis war absolut in Ordnung. Der Service hat noch Luft nach oben. Gerne wieder!

We, 2 people, ate there 4 times in a row, 3 times with a table reservation and 1 time without registering. ---> Everything is fine and everything went perfectly! We recommend registering by phone! Choosing a drink is not easy due to the very good selection. Whether white, rosé or red wine... very good No disappointment with the beer selection either... perfect. The food itself was of a culinary high quality, very tasty... steak seared to perfection, spaghetti al dente... top! And apparently EVERYTHING was freshly prepared, as was the taste The service was very good, friendly, accommodating and discreet! Bottom line: perfect. The terrace was not used due to the weather. Thanks to the MAX Wirt team

Very professionally run restaurant

We hadn't made a reservation and had only just arrived at the campsite next door. All the tables in the restaurant were occupied or reserved, there was only room on the terrace. The service was very friendly and we were able to quickly try out the delicious beer. We ordered schnitzel, which we really enjoyed, wonderfully tender and perfectly seasoned. We'd love to come back!

Five star camping site, five star thermal baths, five star restaurant, ideal for healing, cycling, hiking, very nice welcome, helpful, great natural swimming pond, sunbathing lawn, relax when you arrive.

Dieses Restaurant zeigt, dass man Qualität, Preis, Service, Atmosphäre und Quantität perfekt zelebriert. Wir waren eine Woche zum frühstücken und Abendessen jeden Tag in diesem Restaurant. Wir können uns nur bedanken für diesen Hochgenuss. Wenn andere Restaurants jammern wegen hohe Kosten und Personalmangel. Hier wird man freundlich und aufmerksam bedient und der Preis ist perfekt und die Quantität und Qualität ist 5Sterne min wert!! Danke für die schöne Zeit.

As locals who live on Parallstrasse, we wanted to eat there. The restaurant was certainly not overcrowded (three tables with 2-4 people each were occupied) and the three waitresses were busy. No one said a greeting, even though we said hello, and we were not assigned a seat (interestingly, ALL tables were marked as reserved). ). Only when we stopped in the middle of the room did one of us take pity on us. At some point we were given the menu without comment, but after a total of 20 minutes of waiting with outside temperatures around 30 degrees, we weren't even asked if we wanted a drink, so we left the restaurant again. As I said - three waitresses with a total of three occupied tables. Sorry, you can't treat guests like that. Spa camping guests may leave after a few days, but locals stay!

The Maxwirt is really a very nice, modern, small restaurant and cozy beer garden. Service is really super friendly, fast and if the boss is already working with you, things can move on! There's also some free schnapps in there. The cooking team does a great job, tasty and pleasing to the eye but fine cuisine. That is, if I was very hungry, I thought you couldn't go wrong with a grill plate for just under €24, it wouldn't be nearly full...you couldn't go with fries either. Non-alcoholic drinks like Spezi are only available in 0.33L bottles, so don't bring too much thirst with you. But still worth a visit!

The food is very tasty and so appetizingly prepared. Friendly and attentive staff. We felt very comfortable. We ate at Maxwirt every day for a week and everything was delicious. Vegetarian dishes - the selection could be larger. If you eat fish, it's fine.

Wir waren zwei mal hier essen. Beim ersten Mal Salat mit Pute. Pute sehr trocken, Salatsoße über top…, weiter unten total verwässert… aber Salat wird gewaschen 👍 Heute waren wir das zweite Mal…Papardelle mit Pesto…kann ja eigentlich nicht schlecht laufen. Die Papardelle waren nicht mal Tagliatelle - eher noch Spaghetti, was ich überhaupt nicht wollte und das Pesto war geschmacklos. Leider. Das Restaurant ist aber sehr schön

We had to wait almost 2 hours for our food. That was nothing and unfortunately I cannot recommend the restaurant. The food was really good. The children's portions are quite small. So feel free to order a double portion.

One of the few campsite restaurants that is really good. A new topic every day. Schnitzel, knuckles etc. Good price-performance ratio. Super nice service.

The food, drinks and service are top. We recommend. Even with the dried fruit brandy we had excellent and friendly advice. I'll definitely come back. The only thing that surprised me was the one or two pairs of sweatpants or slippers that some guests at the surrounding campsite wear, as it doesn't fit into the ambience at all.
