We went to L’Osteria in Nuremberg and ate pizza – unfortunately a big mistake. Shortly after eating, both my buddy and I started having severe stomach pains. We were really bad. The pizza was disappointing in terms of taste, but the physical reaction was just terrible. Something like that shouldn't happen in a restaurant. Never again!

Waited over 1 hour and got nothing

After asking several times, it still took forever to wait. 2 hours and 15 minutes to go out for a quick pizza is already a long time

Waited almost an hour for the food, then it didn't come at the same time, pasta was lukewarm... and the pizza was missing the cheese because there was no more and the waitress didn't really care

Come here often, the food is always delicious and there is a lot to choose from, from seafood to meat to vegetarian dishes. Personally, I highly recommend the Insalata Campagnola and the ravioli.

L’Osteria absolutely convinced me! The ham pizza was wonderfully thin, large and tasted great. Plus an ice-cold Paulaner Helles – simply the perfect combination. The service was friendly and the atmosphere was pleasantly relaxed. Gladly again!

The music was way too loud so we couldn't have a conversation anymore. Unfortunately we didn't get the food. We ordered the same pizza twice and I only got a spoon for my starter but I didn't have a soup fork until the second time when I asked if I could get a fork. The ravioli wasn't cooked yet. I don't need it again.

I came to L’Osteria today hungry and tired. I saw a free table and wanted to sit down. Before I was even seated, the waitress came and said in a slightly condescending manner, “Please wait next time.” I work in the catering industry myself and know that sometimes you're just looking for peace and a little friendliness - especially when you're stressed and hungry. In such moments, understanding counts more than rules. Guests come to feel comfortable – not to be lectured to. Unfortunately, such small encounters influence the overall impression. A little more empathy would be good for the beautiful ambience.

We had the Spaghetti Bolognese & Cabonara. It was really tasty.

While I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, I make a big exception for L'Osteria: Whenever I travel for business, I always head straight for a branch, because you can expect good quality there. This is also the case (or rather, especially) in Nuremberg at Hans-Sachs-Platz: Even on my fourth visit, everything is perfect: The staff are really super friendly, the food is delicious, the portions are generous, and here you can sit in a beautiful spot in the middle of Nuremberg and enjoy pizza and pasta in the sun. Even our large group of 14 people was served very quickly - and the food arrived almost simultaneously for everyone. One thing is clear to me: Whenever I'm in Nuremberg, a visit to Hans-Sachs-Platz is already firmly in my plans.

One of the best places for Pizza and Pasta in Nürnberg. True Italian taste. Aglio e Olio is a must try... 🙌🙌🙌 Large variety of vegetarian delicacies.

We already know the L'Osteria chain from other cities (Dresden, Berlin). We had reserved a table for two people here in advance. The placement wasn't optimal (in the middle and loud). The service is trying hard, but apparently a bit overwhelmed and then the "godfather" behind the counter... unfortunately doesn't seem likeable and rather repulsive! Food was average, so not great. A bit small in quantity for the relatively high price.

Unfortunately the app didn't work, it was difficult to understand the order, it took a long time and was wrong, despite repeating it several times. Online reservation options were not implemented. The food was good.

Unfortunately, more appearance than reality. The service is very inattentive, everything is quick and quick, even though the store is almost empty! In addition, it is simply common decency to talk to someone you don't know, unfortunately not the case here. The pizzas were dry, we left more than half of them. Neumarkter and Pirkheimerstrasse are worlds better. Regarding the ambience and location, we wanted a table where the seats were padded because we are a bit older, we were told that these 7 tables were reserved, we sat for 1 hour, these tables in question were still empty.

Disastrous service - waited over an hour for the pizza - Pizza was cold - 2 shared pizzas were incorrectly placed on 1 plate - Pizza was baked in the oven with arugula - no attempt by the service to repair the damage Too bad!

L’Osteria in Nuremberg was very busy during our visit – the restaurant was full, which indicates its popularity. Despite the high number of people, there were enough staff available so that operations ran smoothly. The service was fine: friendly, but slightly stressed given the number of guests. The food tasted solid and was well organized for the large number of people. A small point of criticism concerns the Amore Hearts system: Although we explicitly mentioned that we were collecting when redeeming points and in conversation with the waiter, we were not informed of any changes. That was a bit disappointing. Apart from that, the visit was okay overall – not a highlight, but not a letdown either.

We entered with low expectations because we were hungry, but we left very satisfied. The pizzas were big and delicious, the lasagna was also good. I can say that the prices are reasonable.
