L’Osteria Metzingen – An evening like in 7th heaven thanks to David! Where should I start? My visit to L’Osteria Metzingen wasn’t just a meal – it was an absolutely top-notch experience, and it’s all thanks to David! He is not just a waiter, but a true service miracle, a host par excellence who transformed the evening into an unforgettable event. David made us feel like we were the most important guests in the entire restaurant. His charisma? Magical. His attention? Unprecedented. Before I could even think about what I needed, it was already there. He has the talent to fulfill wishes even before you know them yourself. His recommendations? A culinary fireworks display! He described each dish with so much enthusiasm that we felt like we were sitting in a gourmet show. And then the food - it was fantastic, but with David's charm everything tasted even better. I’ll tell it like it is: David alone is reason enough to visit L’Osteria. He is the Leonardo da Vinci of service, the Cristiano Ronaldo of hospitality, the Mozart of gastronomy! Thank you, David, for this unforgettable evening. I'll be back - just to be enchanted by you again!

Nice factory style atmosphere, waiter was very friendly and attentive. Food was great, only the pizza could have been a little hotter. I'd love to come back 😊

The taste was average. It can be crowded on weekends, you may have to wait a little while at the entrance. The service was fast, despite being crowded, the employees were attentive and friendly. The atmosphere of the place was very good, high and spacious, nicely designed, but the tables were a little close to each other, but it can still be tried.

Unfortunately the service was subpar. Despite the announcement, the barrier-free entrance was closed. We stood in the rain until someone opened the door for us - without apology. There was also a lack of attention during the visit. The food was okay, but the poor service significantly spoiled the overall impression.

Today the pizza was way too dry

Wegen Ferien war einiges los am Samstag, dennoch ohne Reservierung nur ca. 10 Minuten auf einen Tisch gewartet. Lugano, Wasser, .Pizza sehr gut und Salat Manza hervorragend, bestes Dressing ever. Trotz des regen Betriebes sehr freundliches Personal. Nächstes mal wieder gerne!

The giant pizza was absolutely convincing, thin dough, baked golden brown, pleasantly seasoned and tasty toppings. Always happy. Small negative point: the staff is unfortunately not as attentive as one might expect (reordering drinks, clearing away empty dishes...).

We were there for the first time yesterday and the atmosphere, like the whole restaurant, was very pleasant. Pizza was very tasty and the man who served us was also very friendly!! Definitely recommended

Ich und meine Familie hatten heute das Outlet City besucht um einzukaufen,während unser Aufenthalt hatten wir Lust etwas zu essen und gingen zur Pizzeria L'Osteria Das Restaurant war voll und wir warteten am Eingang bis uns der Kellner zum einen Tisch bringte Dabei hat es sich hinter uns viele Menschen gesammelt und die schubsen uns immer stückchen vorwärts Da kam die Kellnerin eine große schlanke Frau und sagte uns wir sollten etwas nach hinten gehen weil sie konnte nicht durchkommen ( Sie hatte genug Platz ) Ich Antwortete das sie das mit einem anderen Ton das sagen kann und nicht gleich aggressiv werden Die Antwort von ihr war, wenn es ihnen nicht gefällt dann können sie gehen Anschließend fragte ich nach ihren Namen und sie hat es uns nicht verraten,danach fragte ich wer hier der Management ist damit ich mich vor Ort Beschweren kann und sie hat sich so vorgestellt das sie hier das Sagen hat Ich habe einen Gold Status ich bin fast 3 mal im Monat im Outlet City einkaufen und so was habe ich noch nicht erlebt wenn solche Leute die Kunden wegtreiben dann sind sie fehl am Platz Natürlich sind wir weg gegangen und die schlechtesten Eindrücke mitgenommen

We had dinner at the company team event in the evening. Unfortunately, the base of my pizza was very doughy and not crispy at all. The pizza was then served on a small plate with the dough hanging down the side. Unfortunately you couldn't cut the pizza like that or on the table.

We understand that there are waiting times at peak times, but over 5 tables that arrived after us ordered and even received drinks and we received nothing. We had a table in the middle where many waiters walked past us, but no one wanted to take our order. Only after we asked three times did someone come. Since we are the only ones of Asian origin at these tables, I naturally wonder whether it has something to do with our appearance... next time I would much rather go to McDonald's than to Losteria, deeply disappointed and had a very bad experience here. were here on December 28th, 2024 at 4 p.m.

The taste was actually really good. What I was missing e.g. The latte macchiato was small and there wasn't enough topping on the anchovy pizza. The food came quickly, the service was really nice. Can recommend it. The price is also okay.

We both had a very tasty pizza, the premises are very attractive and although the shop was full, the kitchen was quick and the service was friendly, competent and seemed calm and not stressed. The only drawback: The pizza knives should definitely be sharper and cut better. The long mess around was tedious and tedious.

The pizza and pasta are simply delicious and leave nothing to be desired. I particularly appreciate the friendliness and courteousness of the staff, who give every visit a personal touch. Another plus point is the generous opening hours, which make it possible to enjoy a good meal even on Sundays and late at night. As a Metzinger, I am happy to have such a wonderful restaurant on site. L'Osteria is definitely a place you'll want to return to again and again!

The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a well-known selection of dishes. Despite a small queue on special days, the waiters work very quickly. Once the order is placed, it is served fairly quickly. The wait for the bill could be a little longer, but the quality of the food totally makes up for it. If you have some time, a visit here is definitely recommended because the food is really delicious. The pizza is huge! I would recommend ordering half a pizza per person – absolutely sufficient and delicious! A great experience for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed environment.

Easy to find, it's better to make a reservation. We tried spontaneously twice and were sent away because everything was reserved. The third time we were allowed to have a table for 1 hour. The atmosphere is nice and tidy, the gentleman who served us was friendly, funny and had a great chat with the kids, which is great because otherwise children don't really get noticed in restaurants. My daughter thought it was great and even ordered it on her own. Simply excellent, thank you. The food felt fresh and delicious in 10 minutes. Just a great quick visit, thank you.

L’Osteria in Metzingen is my favorite when it comes to pizza! The pizza is huge and simply delicious. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and good-humored team - you immediately feel welcome. Big praise also goes to the manager, who puts a lot of effort into creating a great atmosphere.

There is no need to go without making a reservation in advance. The restaurant is very busy. And for the amount of work the waitresses have to do, they were friendly and nice the whole evening. And at least that evening there was always a smile on your face. The food and drinks came quickly. The pizzas are huge. Really huge. So we can only recommend it. We'll be back.

It was a perfect Tuesday lunch. It was unexpectedly delicious and flavorful for the simple dish that it is. I enjoyed a huge portion of spaghetti aglio, olio, accompanied by Christmas music in the background. The atmosphere is totally cozy and inviting. There was no room for dessert, but I can totally recommend the Tartufo. The best choice was to finish with a mild cappuccino. Many thanks to L'Osteria for this great Tuesday lunch.

I'm totally thrilled!! From the ambience to the service to the food. We were in a totally overcrowded outlet today on Black Friday. There were already a few people at the front door but it still went pretty quickly. We had to wait maybe five minutes until a very friendly young man gave us a table. It was incredibly busy and more and more people came. Despite the large number of customers and the associated stress, we were treated really well from start to finish, and the food was really delicious. The price was more than reasonable. We will definitely go there again!

Their pizzas are single sized and big enough to easily feed 2 people. Choose wines and beers as beverages. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is as it should be. It has caring and friendly staff. The dough is very thin and does not bother you, you can also choose pasta.

I have long preferred this restaurant as the food is truly excellent. But today I had an unpleasant experience. I asked the waiter for salt, to which he responded inappropriately and said, 'What else do you want?' If he doesn't want to do his job, he'd better give it up. They lost an important customer because of a salt issue.

L'Osteria Metzingen is the perfect place if you are looking for the perfect culinary experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair, especially considering the portions and the quality of the dishes. Overall it's a place I can absolutely recommend!!!

Orecchiette di manzo al limone were very tasty as was the pizza. We had to wait a bit because we didn't have a reservation, but it was pleasant. Service was very nice. Music was great and didn't bother us.

If you don’t speak German dont come here. The waiter was very rude when he stated that he only speaks deutsh (although later he spoke in English). He brought the wrong food even when I asked him straight pointing from the menu, never looked to the table in sign of assistance and only could ask for the check when I was putting my coat because it was pretty obvious already that we were leaving. Extremely poor service and mediocre pizza. Good place and environment
