Nice place to eat, but it's pricey

Even though we didn't have a reservation, a place was quickly arranged and we were seated at our table as a family. The food is delicious and the service is incredibly fast. The prices are also very good compared to the portions of the food. It will definitely be my go-to place on my next visit. Thank you,

As a loyal customer of L'Osteria in Metzingen, I can enthusiastically say that every visit is a pleasure. Whether it's social gatherings with large groups, relaxed family dinners or exuberant girls' nights out - the atmosphere is always warm and inviting. The pizza and pasta are simply delicious and leave nothing to be desired. I particularly appreciate the friendliness and courteousness of the staff, who give every visit a personal touch. Another plus point is the generous opening hours, which make it possible to enjoy a good meal even on Sundays and late at night. As a Metzinger, I am happy to have such a wonderful restaurant locally. L'Osteria is definitely a place you'll want to return to again and again!

The restaurant offers a pleasant atmosphere and a well-known selection of dishes. Despite a small queue on special days, the waiters work very quickly. Once the order is placed, it is served fairly quickly. The wait for the bill could be a little longer, but the quality of the food totally makes up for it. If you have some time, a visit here is definitely recommended because the food is really delicious. The pizza is huge! I would recommend ordering half a pizza per person – absolutely sufficient and delicious! A great experience for anyone who wants to enjoy good food in a relaxed environment.

Easy to find, it's better to make a reservation. We tried spontaneously twice and were sent away because everything was reserved. The third time we were allowed to have a table for 1 hour. The atmosphere is nice and tidy, the gentleman who served us was friendly, funny and had a great chat with the kids, which is great because otherwise children don't really get noticed in restaurants. My daughter thought it was great and even ordered it on her own. Simply excellent, thank you. The food felt fresh and delicious in 10 minutes. Just a great quick visit, thank you.

L’Osteria in Metzingen is my favorite when it comes to pizza! The pizza is huge and simply delicious. We were particularly impressed by the friendly and good-humored team - you immediately feel welcome. Big praise also goes to the manager, who puts a lot of effort into creating a great atmosphere.

Fantastic venue, usual l'Osteria quality - but staff seemed very stressed and although kind, made a few mistakes with our orders...

It was a perfect Tuesday lunch. It was unexpectedly delicious and flavorful for the simple dish that it is. I enjoyed a huge portion of spaghetti aglio, olio, accompanied by Christmas music in the background. The atmosphere is totally cozy and inviting. There was no room for dessert, but I can totally recommend the Tartufo. The best choice was to finish with a mild cappuccino. Many thanks to L'Osteria for this great Tuesday lunch.

There is no need to go without making a reservation in advance. The restaurant is very busy. And for the amount of work the waitresses have to do, they were friendly and nice the whole evening. And at least that evening there was always a smile on your face. The food and drinks came quickly. The pizzas are huge. Really huge. So we can only recommend it. We'll be back.

I'm totally thrilled!! From the ambience to the service to the food. We were in a totally overcrowded outlet today on Black Friday. There were already a few people at the front door but it still went pretty quickly. We had to wait maybe five minutes until a very friendly young man gave us a table. It was incredibly busy and more and more people came. Despite the large number of customers and the associated stress, we were treated really well from start to finish, and the food was really delicious. The price was more than reasonable. We will definitely go there again!

I'm particularly impressed by the quality of the ingredients, whether it's the pizza, the pasta or the desserts like the heavenly tiramisu. The ambience is modern, lively and invites you to feel good. The service is attentive, friendly and ensures that you feel in good hands. I have long preferred this restaurant as the food is truly excellent. But today I had an unpleasant experience. I asked the waiter for salt, to which he responded inappropriately and said, 'What else do you want?' If he doesn't want to do his job, he'd better give it up. They lost an important customer because of a salt issue.

Unfortunately a disappointing experience, the food was mediocre. Pizza and pasta unfortunately had no taste. I'm actually used to better quality from L'Osteria.

Their pizzas are single sized and big enough to easily feed 2 people. Choose wines and beers as beverages. The atmosphere is very nice, the service is as it should be. It has caring and friendly staff. The dough is very thin and does not bother you, you can also choose pasta.

The staff was very friendly and attentive. There is not only good pizza here, but also very good coffee from a portafilter machine and also a very tasty dessert.

L'Osteria Metzingen is the perfect place if you are looking for the perfect culinary experience. As soon as you enter the restaurant you are greeted by the welcoming atmosphere and friendly staff who make you feel welcome. The price-performance ratio is absolutely fair, especially considering the portions and the quality of the dishes. Overall it's a place I can absolutely recommend!!!

Orecchiette di manzo al limone were very tasty as was the pizza. We had to wait a bit because we didn't have a reservation, but it was pleasant. Service was very nice. Music was great and didn't bother us.

If you don’t speak German dont come here. The waiter was very rude when he stated that he only speaks deutsh (although later he spoke in English). He brought the wrong food even when I asked him straight pointing from the menu, never looked to the table in sign of assistance and only could ask for the check when I was putting my coat because it was pretty obvious already that we were leaving. Extremely poor service and mediocre pizza. Good place and environment

Be sure to select “Kein Trinkgeld” when checking out. They ask for tips from tourists from overseas. In Germany, you don't tip after a meal.

The salad was nice and fresh with great dressing. The pizza was just really good. Unfortunately there was a problem, two things were missing from the bill, the waiter still wanted the money, which is what he got. We still like the L Osteria!

The salad with turkey strips isn't that great, but the pizzas are super tasty and, above all, it's very cool that you can order half and half and therefore choose 2 different toppings.
