We wanted to take a quick coffee break after our shopping. We were offered the table that was just to the left of the entrance until 6:30 p.m. It was terribly loud and that was from the staff. There were 5 to 6 at the bar and in front of the bar Employees who had some kind of stress with the preparations but we don't have to go along with everything. We drank quickly and left straight away. For us, there won't be a cafe again where we can enjoy a cafe in peace 😡

We spontaneously called the restaurant and made a reservation, which was promised to be flexible. When we arrived it was very busy but the waitress was extremely nice and approachable. She led us directly to our spot, which we had reserved by phone. What is particularly positive is that she advised us on the new truffle pasta dishes that were not yet on the menu. We ordered and the food was simply delicious – there is absolutely nothing to complain about here! A small downside was the waiting time to pay, as it was very busy and it took a little longer before we could make eye contact with the waitress. However, that wasn't a big deal and didn't affect our overall impression. Next time we are in Metzingen we will definitely eat here again. Our pictures are original and photographed by ourselves. First of all, nice and attentive service (even though the store was full). We ate pizza, fresh pasta and an insalata mista. Pasta is great, salad is delicious and the pizza is world class!!!! Next time we're in Metzingen we'll go there again!

The atmosphere is very cozy and cool, service is ok. Now for the negative impressions; The person in charge of the restaurant and family members who also work there always look down from above! ! Such arrogance that seems to be incurable... why? There are also other ways to reach your goal. E.g. more warmth and hospitality, hospitable that is also authentic. ANSWER to your statement: my impression after I was there several times, arrogance, arrogance,... If you are told that it is totally inappropriate in the catering industry to act so arrogantly as the owner of a restaurant, that is an attack, you have to Maybe learn to cope better with criticism and not react so rudely to realistic customer comments - and based on personal experience. Not professional! There are special coaches and courses for that😉😉 you can learn everything!😉😉

When visiting Metzingen, a cold drink and a salad or something similar at Mattinis is a must. We always enjoy being there again.

It was our first time there but definitely not the last time. At first I thought pizza mattini for 19.50 was very expensive. BUT the pizza is worth the money. The dough must have been made for 48 hours, the topping was great and of really good quality. Highly recommended!

Leider waren wir nicht wie in den Öffnungszeiten genannt willkommen. Wir wurden als Gruppe von 7 45 Minuten vor Schließzeit für Drinks abgewiesen. Ich kann nicht verstehen, wieso man dann die Öffnungszeiten so festlegt. Kein Wunder dass die Metzinger Innenstadt tot ist….

So what we experienced here was from another planet!! No matter whether service or taste, wonderful and exemplary. We were thrilled with the order and the service (extra cutlery, robber plate, extra parmesan, etc.) and we were also asked whether everything was ok or what else we needed. The pizzas are really world-class, i.e. the dough is very airy, which means that the dough was made the day before, so it can rise. There was also plenty of topping without the dough collapsing on the inside. We will definitely come back and can definitely recommend the restaurant. 5 star plus.

Really unreliable, opening times are just random, 45 minutes before the official closing time on Saturday evening with 7 people you couldn't even get a drink... All in all, poor at best

Had a pizza with ham, unfortunately the taste left a lot to be desired and the ham was probably a cheap ham from the discount store, mega thick slices, not a Parma ham as is usual with Italians. Unfortunately, the quality has suffered here and the prices have risen significantly. Is there still quality in the pasta dishes? Good.

Might be the best pizza I've ever had in my life. I would come back to Metzingene just to eat this pizza again.

But, the boss seems to choose people. Four of us chose a shady place and sat down. Five minutes later we had to get up again because this area wasn't open yet. We were then forced to sit half in the sun. Five minutes later new people sat down and were served. When asked why we had to get up, the waitress told me; She couldn't explain it either - boss would have made that decision.

Nice pizzeria. Long waiting time but kind of worth it. If you go to metzingen, you can try. I would go there time to time.

A very nice restaurant with a nice outdoor area and very casual food. The service was very attentive and friendly and had a positive, relaxed attitude. The price-performance ratio is great and the portions are very filling. I would happily recommend Mattini's Bar as it invites you to linger. Thank you for a pleasant short time

Mattinis in Metzingen is undoubtedly a gem among the region's Italian restaurants. As soon as you enter the restaurant, you immediately feel transported to a warm, inviting atmosphere, which is supported by the stylish, yet cozy interior. The menu offers a wide selection of modern Italian dishes, all freshly prepared with high quality ingredients. From crispy pizza to homemade pasta to delicate seafood dishes - every palate will find a real treat here. I particularly recommend the beef fillet in arugula, which was perfectly prepared and incredibly tender. A particular highlight of our visit, however, was the outstanding service, especially our waiter Damian. From the start, Damian was incredibly attentive and accommodating. With his friendly smile and professional manner, he made sure that we felt completely comfortable and well looked after. He was able to explain every dish on the menu in detail and gave us excellent recommendations that far exceeded our expectations. Damian managed to find a perfect balance between presence and reserve, so that we never felt pressured but always well looked after. Such commitment and hospitality are rare today and deserve special recognition. Overall, our evening at Mattinis was an unforgettable experience thanks to the delicious food and excellent service from Damian. We are already looking forward to our next visit and can highly recommend this restaurant to any lover of Italian cuisine.

Great Italian food in the heart of Metzingen. The service was totally attentive and good. We decided on "Insalata Dolce Vita", which was really tasty. Unfortunately we had to order the bread separately, but that's only a minimal negative point. The food was great and tasty. You definitely have to make a reservation there in the evening, the Ristorante is very popular 😀. Rightly so!

I've been here a few times, for me it's one of the best Italians I know. Very friendly service, great and quick cuisine with surprising and delicious dishes. A nice facility and super well located in Metzingen. We had an outstanding Insalata Dolce Vita (large salad plate with leaf lettuce, cocktail tomatoes, Italian olives, buffalo mozzarella, fried mushrooms, pine nuts and balsamic cream) and Gnocchi al Pesto di Basilico e Stracciatella (With sun-dried tomatoes and stracciatella (burrata cream) in homemade basil pesto) and for dessert a homemade tiramisu.

It was very nice but a bit expensive.

That was very good, I will definitely eat there again when I am in Metzingen! The staff tries to find a place for guests, even when it is full. As I said, it's worth eating here. The only small criticism is the chairs outside. They are a bit uncomfortable, perhaps it would be better with a cushion.

Ausgezeichnetes Bistro in der Innenstadt von Metzingen unweit des Outlet City Metzingen. Essen gibt es ohne zeitliche Begrenzung. Sehr lieb eingerichtet mit Raucherlounge im ersten Stock. Sehr freundliches Personal und ausgezeichnete Pizzen.

A rustic, cozy Italian restaurant with damn tasty pizza and pasta. I had a pizza that tasted great. Crispy edge, for me personally the dough was a bit too thin in the middle. (But this is a matter of personal opinion! and should not be viewed negatively). My two visitors had 2 pasta dishes and both were very satisfied. The first impression of both was, oh, a very clear portion, which turned out to be exactly right. There was no “eating coma” feeling or an over-saturation feeling. Prices seem to be a bit higher, but justified for the quality. The ambience is upscale and exudes cosiness. We'd love to come back.

We ate there with around 20 people and the little boss often made bad comments to us customers. He didn't want to bring us plates for an appetizer that we paid for. Then he said, translated, “Boy, I won’t bring you any.” Then he said (with 20 people) that he wouldn't make any sales with us (even though we left €600 behind)... The food was still very good, but the prices are exorbitantly expensive.. we wouldn't have another big party there celebrate.

Mein Freund und Ich machten auf unserer Vespa Tour in Metzingen zum Mittagessen halt.Meine Frau und Ich sind immer mal wieder zu Gast im Martinis und wir wurden noch nie Enttäuscht. Egal ob Wir Pizza oder Nudeln bestellen es schmeckt alles super lecker. Die Gerichte werden alle mit frischen und hochwertigen Zutaten zubereitet. Mein Freund war das erste Mal zum Essen im Martinis und Er war auch sofort genau wie wir von der Qualität der Speisen begeistert. Wir können das Martinis zu jeder Zeit weiterempfehlen. Wir kommen immer wieder gerne vorbei.

Very nice atmosphere. The problem seems to be that the innkeeper is already full. It's the details that matter. There is no clear separation between the kitchen and the dining room. The people from the kitchen always come out into the dining room to talk to the other employees and vice versa. Pizzas were very charred on the bottom... The price does not correspond to the product that was delivered. We tried it here several times, unfortunately the impression was very similar several times. Therefore only 3 stars. You should feel HUMILITY and not conceit... but I left it out of the review. As we all know, hope dies last.

Das Lokal im alten Stadtkern ist wahrlich ein Juwel. Mit seiner wunderschönen Lage mitten in der historischen Altstadt bietet es den perfekten Ort, um eine köstliche Mahlzeit zu genießen. Die Auswahl an Speisen ist vielfältig und die Qualität lässt keine Wünsche offen. Doch nicht nur das Essen überzeugt, auch die Atmosphäre ist einfach zauberhaft. Ein perfekter Ort, um einen gemütlichen Abend zu verbringen und den Charme der alten Stadt zu genießen.

Schöne Lokal mit guten Essen und Kaffee.

Waren zum shoppen in Metzingen und sind im Anschluss dann auf dieses Restaurant gestoßen. Wir hatten nicht reserviert und hatten zuerst nur einen Platz an den Hochstühlen. War nicht so gemütlich aber ist im Notfall auch in Ordnung. Danach ist ein Tisch frei geworden und wir konnten uns umsetzten. -zum Glück- Die Bedingungen waren sehr freundlich und aufmerksam und das Essen war auch echt lecker. Gerne wieder aber dann mit reservieren. 🫶🏼

Wir besuchten das Restaurant zu 4. Die Pizzen waren wirklich klasse, da man auch nicht überall eine Neapolitanische bekommt,konnten wir pber die teilweise happigen Preise hinwegsehen. Die Cocktails waren solide, mehr nicht. Das Ambiente ist schön eingerichtet und die Bedienung eines solchen Restaurants würdig. Wirbwerden alles in allem wiederkommen!

Sehr nettes Personal. Der Chef ist sehr aufmerksam, freundlich und kundenorientiert. Das Essen ist sehr gut und ansprechend. Wir kommen gern wieder sofern wir wieder in Metzingen sind.
