L'Osteria Herne in Herne

It was our first time in a L'Osteria restaurant and we weren't full or satisfied... we'd never had anything like that before... the pizza had so few toppings. Hardly any toppings, tasted like nothing. The noodles were delicious. The waitress very nice. There's nothing you can say about that... but someone is trying to save on ingredients contrary to what the company says... As I said, you'll usually get full from a L'Osteria Pizza Papp... it's a shame... if you complain As a manager, you come and then take care of it and maybe offer something. It's good that at least the waitress was nice. But unfortunately never again in Herne... What a shame...

We had dinner with my family on Tuesday, great service and very nice, but unfortunately the food is a joke. The pizza was big but the cheeses weren't there and the pizza sauce was completely unbearable, we only ate bread with some sauce, the pasta was tasty but too dry, I'm sorry but the price difference to the food is huge. lots of expensive and few ingredients.

Today was my first and my last time at L'Osteria. Although the attentive service provided a tiramisu on the house because it was a friend's birthday, you won't get full from the main courses, which is what you can expect at €14-18 🙈

The food was very tasty and the service was super nice. The bartender with the dark curly hair was very attentive and super friendly. Again and again!!!!

L'Osteria is always worth a visit. Same here in Herne. Great service, delicious food. Simply to feel good. Any time.

We stopped by there spontaneously and were not disappointed. The Italian ambience created a holiday feeling. The employee Dijle was super friendly, personable and accommodating. The food came quickly and was simply delicious. All extra requests when ordering were taken into account. We will definitely come by again! Absolute recommendation

Although it was very busy on Saturday evening, we were served very nicely and attentively. Our starter plates and main courses arrived quickly, despite the fact that we were a group of 10 people. The food was very tasty! Antipasti, pizza and pasta are all recommended.

We met here for a working lunch. Everyone got their food almost at the same time and was satisfied. I had the ravioli with spinach. I found the portion to be too small for me as a grown man. So I had to order dessert.

I was so looking forward to this evening. Unfortunately, things took a different turn... The service was initially nice and friendly, but then at some point it stopped showing up at all, so it wasn't possible to order another drink. The pizza was big, yes, that's true, but the toppings were carelessly made, it almost seemed like it was shot... I wouldn't go there again, except for something to drink because the atmosphere is really very nice

Were with a large group. Thanks to Giuseppe, orders and other things went extremely smoothly. The food and ambience are great, the Zoodles Gamberetti are highly recommended. All in all a lovely evening.

review The food was ok, the pasta was al dente as it should be. However, the portions were far too small and the price was really high. I was still hungry after eating and didn't feel full. My husband ordered a Gamberetti pizza. Unfortunately, the pizza was much smaller than usual - and the price was quite high. The price-performance ratio is simply no longer right here. Things are completely different in the Ruhrpark: there are generous portions and fresh ingredients, which makes the visit much more worthwhile. It's a shame that wasn't the case here.

The ambience is simply great. You sit in a large hall that is very rustic, but still feels cozy. The food is also great. Everything I have ordered so far has been very tasty.

Went here for brunch today and was unfortunately a bit disappointed. I actually thought that everything on a chain would be the same, but it's not. Less selection of food than at other locations and then the brunch is €2 more expensive than at the other locations. In addition, less was refilled. All in all still ok but I would rather go to another location to have brunch.

If you sit at the wrong table, you can no longer understand the person you are talking to. It's best to ask the staff for a quiet spot against the wall or window.

Osteria with an industrial look, service as always very good, attentive, the food is consistently good, there are no surprises, that's just system gastronomy. You know what to expect, but I'm always happy to come back.

There's not much to say as we were completely satisfied. (We were there for brunch) The food was great, not too much, but not too little choice either. There is definitely something for everyone, from starters to dessert. The service was equally great. There was always someone there to talk to and care was taken to ensure that the used plates didn't pile up on the tables. The cleanliness there was also very clear. Attention was paid to this at the table, in the hall and in the toilets. We'd love to come back!

What you get delivered is bottomless, half an hour late and then the pizza is still ice cold and hard.

You can't go wrong with the L'Osteria chain. Large portions that are really tasty. Plenty of space even for larger groups.

Were there today for the brunch buffet. Great selection for breakfast. Super delicious warm dishes, various pasta dishes/filled pizzas, something completely different. We are totally thrilled, we will do it more often. The staff very friendly. A must if you love Italian cuisine.

After first receiving someone else's order and then receiving an incomplete order* (Caesar Salad without chicken...), you should not order from this restaurant again. We were informed about the missing chicken, but no price reduction or alternative was offered. You also select a time for collection when you place your order, but this was only passed on to the kitchen for collection after we arrived. *Edit: In the following email it was clarified that the Caesar salad does not contain chicken as standard and that this must be ordered additionally. Accordingly, the error is mine and I have adjusted my rating.

Great pizza, delicious pasta. Guiseppe served us very nicely and courteously. For dessert there was homemade tiramisu. There is a small play area with a pizza oven for children. The ambience could be a little better.

Unfortunately the food was cold and the restaurant was also very cold. The taste is the same as in the other L’Osteria restaurants.

They did a good job with the interior here. The rest is not very good. The pizza has good dough, but some of the toppings are undercooked. I don’t recommend pizza with shrimp... I recently got lucky with a waitress girl, but before that I was shocked by the amount of broken dishes and beer spilled on guests and in their bags. By the way, they moved people, swept everything on the floor into a heap in the aisle and left it. I had to walk on the wet floor... In general, not everything is tasty and you have to be lucky with the waiter.

Unfortunately the service has become worse, I think also because of this. Shortage of staff. The food is OK. Some pasta portions are much too small.

From reserving a table to paying, everything went smoothly. Pasta and pizza were delicious, fresh and plentiful. Wishes were gladly fulfilled. However, the background noise is quite loud to my ears. I just can't say anything about the coffee, I was in beer mode ;-)

Had a very nice evening. I can only highly recommend the Mezzalune Spinaci pizza!

Next to Decatlon near Zurbrüggen you can eat cheaply there

The service on Friday evening was friendly and attentive. Bruscetta and pizzas tasted very good. My daughter and I couldn't finish the two pizzas. Leftovers were packed up. The room could use a little more insulation, it was already quite loud. Nevertheless, I would come again.

We ate at L'Osteria on a Thursday afternoon before heading to Starlight Express. The service and the ambience were great, the food was delicious :-) We really felt very comfortable and will definitely come back to you when we are in the area again. :D

Excellent friendly staff. Pizza isn't really my thing. Pasta didn't impress me either, but the lasagne is a poem!

Despite making a reservation, we waited over an hour for our two pizzas. The drinks were brought to us upon request, then after 45 minutes. Pizza was quite good. All in all, it was super loud and totally uncomfortable. (Were there on a Saturday evening) I don't have to have it again, I'd rather go to the cozy Italian restaurant next door 😁

Our waitress was Guiseppe, who made a very friendly and professional impression. The ambience is convincing and inspiring with its cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

Great food. Ate my best zucchini noodles here. I just found it very loud. But that's my personal opinion. Otherwise definitely recommended. The employees are very nice and try hard.

Driver's apartment not found!!! Can't speak German!! English only Ordered pizza tuna without onion of course it was with onion. Pizza cold because it took 1:45 a.m. and the best thing is called and they don't have any drivers left!! It's fine Get money refunded So it was the last time I ordered there. It's better to order from the Italian restaurant next door in the future
