L'Osteria Hamburg Fischmarkt in Hamburg

Sind spontan um 15:30 Uhr dagewesen. Hatten einen netten kleine Tisch in der Mitte mit Traumhaften Blick auf den Hafen und die Elbe. Der Kellner strahlte so gute Laune und Lebensfreude aus das steckte direkt an. Er war sehr freundlich und hat uns tolle Empfehlungen gegeben. Die Getränke waren nach wenigen Minuten da, auch das essen war obwohl der Laden sehr voll gewesen ist nach ca. 20-30 Minuten bei uns. Essen war sehr lecker und absolut ausreichend. Noch hervorheben möchte ich das, wir später Abends nach dem Besuch des MiWulA noch etwas kleines für Unterwegs nach Hause (190 km) haben wollten. Ein sehr netter Mitarbeiter hat uns dann eine kleine Pizza mit Salami machen lassen und es gab den neuen Dip Salsa All´Aglio mit. Die Combie war der Wahnsinn. Einfach einen perfekte Pizza und für uns eine toller Abschluss des Tages. Wir waren jetzt schon sehr oft dort essen, aber gefühlt wird es jedes mal noch besser wie das mal davor. Wir bleiben mit großer Freude Kunden und kommen so oft es geht. Vielen Dank

Service is rather poor - system catering. You can tell that many employees don't have much Gatro experience. Pizza is quite good but essentially just very big. Great atmosphere with a view of the port of Hamburg.

EDIT: approx. 6.5 years later 🫡 I was traveling through HH on a Saturday evening with my two children (4+5). We spontaneously ate dinner in the restaurant as walk-in guests. (Arrival around 6 p.m.) Had to wait about 5 minutes and got a great seat with a view of the Elbe. Simply great. The store was full to capacity. My children were given a children's menu on which we found what they were looking for straight away, which is actually difficult with K1 because they are allergic to milk and eggs. We ordered and had our food in about a quarter of an hour. Really great. Waitress Julia did a great job and was super friendly, accommodating and quick. Thank you again for that. However, what once again incredibly bothered me was the noise in the store. Music was super loud and it felt like you had to shout at each other to be understood. I have a decibel meter on my cell phone that I left running and it sometimes showed more than 75 dB, and once even 80 (see photos). Comfortable is really something else. The shop is loud and uncomfortable and not suitable for a nice conversation. However, since the service has improved massively, I have increased my original rating from 2 to 3 stars. Original review: On a sunny afternoon I was at L'Osteria at the fish market with my wife. All the tables outside were occupied and there was almost no activity inside. Unfortunately the service still didn't work for us 1. take our order within 10 minutes 2. to serve drinks (an Alster, an apple spritzer) within another 10 minutes and 3. only after three requests to finally let us pay. "... (she) is unfortunately on break right now." In addition to the poor service, there is the ambience. The music is loud so you have to write in, the waitresses run(!) through the restaurant because they are probably under time pressure(!?) and waiters chew gum and are also quite unfriendly. The furniture is pseudo-old and doesn't exude any charm. The reason why the restaurant doesn't get just one star: The food. It wasn't anything special or exciting and the price-performance ratio was poor, but at least it was fresh and averagely tasty. There was also a salad, but it didn't bring any surprises: tomato, leaf lettuce, etc. with a bit of dressing. If you're expecting to have a bad date or don't want to talk to your in-laws: This is your location! Much too loud to talk about and there is no real atmosphere.

Apart from the fact that the room is very large and noisy, the restaurant itself is a solid 5 out of 5 stars. Staff good and attentive - food simply great!

Had the BBQ Chicken pizza and what can I say... Really tasty, wafer-thin base, huge and the price was ok too. Depending on the time of day, parking spaces are sometimes better and sometimes less available. But right on the water with a view of the harbor. If the weather is good, it's also worth taking a seat outside. Reservation recommended

Lage einfach genial mit Blick auf Containerhafen, Köhlbrandbrücke und Landungsbrücken. Essen super, die Pizzen sind sehr groß und ideal auch für zwei Personen. Einen empfehlenswerten Tiramisu als Abschluss und man kann glücklich und zufrieden weiter. Der Service ist sehr gut und extrem freundlich. Ein absoluter Tipp in Hamburg.

Location simply brilliant with a view of the container port, Köhlbrand Bridge and landing stages. The food is great, the pizzas are very large and ideal for two people. A recommended tiramisu at the end and you can continue happily and satisfied. The service is very good and extremely friendly. An absolute tip in Hamburg.

Es war wie "Eintauchen in einen Kurzurlaub"... sehr authentische Thaiküche, alles hat gepasst von Service, Essen , Athmospäre... ich war das erste Mal dort, aber werde sicherlich wiederkommen. Sooo lecker und liebenswert!

Everything was great, food, service and beautiful view of the Elbe. Just a little too loud for me personally. Prices are reasonable and the pizza is huge. Anything you can't manage to eat is often packed up to take away.

It's a shame, the view is nice and the food was ok. Unfortunately, the ham and pineapple on the Hawaiian pizza didn't taste like anything. It was 14 degrees outside and we had a table in the middle of the restaurant. My hair was blowing because there was such a draft in the store. I asked the boss if he could do something about the draft. His answer was: “If you want to eat by the water, you have to live with the wind.” I want to emphasize that we were INSIDE. Impossible customer service.

Great location, great food, we had super nice service, that rounded off the evening, the only small drawback, it is a bit loud, but the great food almost makes you forget that. With main course, dessert and 1 My drink was around 28 euros :)

A very loud atmosphere. Moving chairs creates an unbearable noise. The background noise makes it difficult to have conversations at the table. The food was OK. The price ratio was also right. The pizza was very large and is just right for those who are very hungry.

The pizzas are really huge and delicious! Tortellini were “clear” and also tasted good. Service friendly and relatively quick. The food also came quickly. Points are clearly deducted for the volume in the restaurant. Because it's quite big, it's so loud that you can barely hold a conversation. If you can get a seat outside, or if you want to wait, you get a beautiful view of the Elbe.

Authentische Gerichte. Dort wo scharf hinter dem Gericht in der Speisekarte steht, ist es auch scharf und nicht nur pikant. Endlich mal ein sehr gutes Thai Restaurant. So gut, dass dort auch Thais essen gehen. Wir hatten für den folgenden Tag erneut einen Tisch reserviert. Schade, dass das Restaurant in Hamburg und nicht bei uns in der Ecke ist.

Great food as always and large portions. Unfortunately most of the service is only available via cell phone. It's very loud.

Very loud music, conversation was hardly possible. When I asked if the music could be turned down, I was told that they would turn the music up even louder. Then my meal was swapped so that instead of a vegan meal, I received one with chicken. Fortunately, the complaint was easy to make. Our bruschetta wasn't toasted, just soaked in oil. Overall, we were very disappointed on our second visit here. More like mass processing with canteen charm.

I would like to inform you that the restaurant you are planning to visit offers large portions at reasonable prices. The quality of the food is also very good.

It's always nice to be there again! Great view of the harbor, excellent food, huge pizzas, wonderful coffee and great desserts. There is also a child-friendly changing table, children's chairs and a separate children's menu.

As always, the food and drinks are great. Unfortunately, the same cannot be said about the ambience. It is very narrow and has more of the charm of a train station restaurant (noisy and uncomfortable chairs). Sometimes less is “more”

I recently visited the restaurant and had mixed experiences. Unfortunately, the pasta with tomato sauce that I ordered was mediocre. The sauce was a bit bland and the pasta could have been a little al dente. The ambience of the restaurant was okay, but the special flair was missing here too. However, what stood out positively was the service. The service was friendly and attentive, which made the stay a little more pleasant. Overall, it was a solid visit, but nothing that would make me want to come back anytime soon.

Such a nice restaurant by the harbor. But the quality here is now going down. Maybe you should work more with reservations instead of coming by and getting a table spontaneously. There is far too much circulation for a restaurant, and unfortunately you can no longer deliver quality. My colleagues had their pizzas ready for 30 minutes and my lasagna didn't arrive until then. That's a bit sad. The staff shows no interest and doesn't really care.

According to the proverb "You don't go to the praised tree with a bag" - L'Osteria Hamburg Fischmarkt offers an ok culinary experience, but unfortunately I can't give 5 stars in all categories. The atmosphere is vibrant, with modern decor and a gorgeous view of the Elbe River. The strong point of the restaurant is, without a doubt, the huge pizza, prepared with a thin crust but unfortunately a bit too dry and the ingredients not of the best quality. The ham from a capricious pizza was a little dry and the artichoke very stringy. I am a fan of this restaurant chain, and I have eaten this pizza in more than 10 Losteria restaurants. Unfortunately, today's pizza is in the last place. The staff are friendly and efficient, always making you feel welcome. Highly recommend - for the view !!!

Good food, very large pizzas and tasty other food. We were also there for the view. The cruise ships leave around 6:00 PM and this restaurant is located next to the route or at the cruise terminal. Other seagoing vessels also have to pass here.

Unfortunately, it's far too loud and therefore just stressful. Unfortunately, you can only use the outdoor seating if you wait at least 1-2 hours and get put on the waiting list. Das Restaurant stellte sich als sehr unflexibel heraus was den Eindruck hinterließ, dass nur nach Schema F Gerichte warm gemacht werden. Unsere Tochter hatte sich aufgrund Ihres Geburtstags gewünscht, zum Thailänder zu gehen. Als sie nicht das auf der Karte fand, was sie öfter in Thailand gegessen hatte (Hähnchen in Mango-Kokos-Soße), baten wir um dieses Gericht. Obwohl es Mango auf der Karte gab, war es nicht möglich, die Mango zu pürieren und als Soße zu verarbeiten. Wir haben das Restaurant verlassen ohne dort zu Essen.

The location is really great right on the water with a terrace. Waiters were friendly too. Small points of criticism: The pizza dough wasn't quite convincing this time. The tipping system. You will be asked to select a tip (of different heights) using a separate device. Yes, there is also the option below to give none, but I find it unpleasant to have to select it so explicitly. If the service was good, most people will tip that way. But I've lost some of my desire to tip when you're being forced like that.

Great place to chill on the Elbe and eat delicious food

We've been here several times and it was great again. The pizzas are mega, in terms of size but also in terms of taste! The ambience is of course amazing, right on the Elbe with a view of the ships. We'd love to come back!
