Das Restaurant stellte sich als sehr unflexibel heraus was den Eindruck hinterließ, dass nur nach Schema F Gerichte warm gemacht werden. Unsere Tochter hatte sich aufgrund Ihres Geburtstags gewünscht, zum Thailänder zu gehen. Als sie nicht das auf der Karte fand, was sie öfter in Thailand gegessen hatte (Hähnchen in Mango-Kokos-Soße), baten wir um dieses Gericht. Obwohl es Mango auf der Karte gab, war es nicht möglich, die Mango zu pürieren und als Soße zu verarbeiten. Wir haben das Restaurant verlassen ohne dort zu Essen.

The location is really great right on the water with a terrace. Waiters were friendly too. Small points of criticism: The pizza dough wasn't quite convincing this time. The tipping system. You will be asked to select a tip (of different heights) using a separate device. Yes, there is also the option below to give none, but I find it unpleasant to have to select it so explicitly. If the service was good, most people will tip that way. But I've lost some of my desire to tip when you're being forced like that.

Great place to chill on the Elbe and eat delicious food

We've been here several times and it was great again. The pizzas are mega, in terms of size but also in terms of taste! The ambience is of course amazing, right on the Elbe with a view of the ships. We'd love to come back!

Aber: wir saßen draußen, da gutes Wetter und just als wir mit dem Essen fertig waren, fing jemand oben im Haus an die Blumen zu gießen oder den Balkon zu waschen. Kriegten somit reichlich schmutziges Wasser ab. Kann zwar das Restaurant nichts für, war aber mehr als unangenehm. Schirme gabs keine und das Personal reagierte auch nicht wirklich drauf. Sehr Ärgerlich und verkürzte unseren Besuch deutlich. Wären noch gerne auf Paar Getränke und Dessert geblieben.

The food is pretty tasty but what's really special about this Losteria is the ambience. To get to the entrance of this restaurant you have to climb a staircase, where you are basically above the Elbe. And no matter whether you are inside or outside, you have a wonderful view of the Elbe. The most beautiful Losteria restaurant I've ever been to

Large and very busy restaurant with a beautiful harbor view, even during the week. Despite the large number of other guests, prompt, friendly service. Huge pizzas, varied pasta, everything very tasty and of high quality, which also has its price. All in all, a very good place for a casual evening at an Italian restaurant with a Hamburg harbor atmosphere.

The service at L'Osteria was a disaster. The service was unfriendly and overwhelmed. Our order was taken incorrectly twice and the waiting times for food and drinks were far too long. I have rarely experienced such bad service.

L'Osteria at Hamburg's Fish Market is a solid choice for pizza lovers. The pizzas are large and have a thin, crispy base. Nice location with the view of the harbour & river. Highly recommend to do a reservation if you come in a big group. There is indoor and outdoor seating. When it is raining, it is better to seat indoor. Very spacious. Food was prepared really fast. You can share the pizza and also take it away back home if you cant finish eating

Delicious huge pizza, nice service, outdoor seating with a view of the Elbe. The only negative thing was the volume of the music, so you could only have a very loud conversation.

Nice Osteria with a fantastic location right on the Elbe. You can watch the cruise ships leave while you have dinner. But now to the Osteria itself: As already mentioned several times, it was very loud, I could hardly talk to my daughter or just shout at her. And of course the loud music makes you scream at each other even more. Unfortunately our food was forgotten and we waited an hour for it. As compensation, there was at least ice cream on the house. Drinks have to be actively ordered; the service does not proactively come to the table and ask. As mentioned several times, very chaotic and confused. The food was delicious as you would expect from other branches of the chain. With a little adjustment, this branch could be a piece of gold, but the noisy atmosphere is really borderline, I was happy to be outside again, my ears were ringing. 🫣

We had a great welcome and a very polite, courteous waiter who served both us and the children in a very friendly manner. Nice view, especially the children were enthusiastic and busy. The food was tasty. We were very satisfied! 😀

Great pizza and atmosphere. We came on a Saturday afternoon where the restaurant was packed. Didn’t have a reservation but could get a table very fast after 5-8 min waiting time. Waited for a while until the server came and took our order. In overall great food and view but long waiting time to get served.

We were there late on a Saturday afternoon without a reservation and the bad impression started at the reception: we were ignored for a solid 5 minutes by several employees who passed us and only after I spoke directly to one of the waiters did one of the waiters sit down for us to assign. Ordering drinks via the app failed (an "unknown error" according to the website) and we were then able to order via the waitress. The food (pizzas, pasta and salad) arrived after about 20 minutes. The pizzas and spaghetti were just lukewarm and otherwise tasted okay. Regarding the ambience of the restaurant: It was well filled and therefore quite loud due to the many parallel conversations of the customers. Unfortunately, Italian pop music was also mixed in, which overall led to an atmosphere that made table conversation impossible. When asked about my overall very bad experience in this restaurant, the manager didn't really show any interest. It's a shame, considering the bad influence his restaurant had on my overall impression of L'Osteria.

It's a nice restaurant with a view of the harbor and the Elbe. However, very difficult without a reservation. When the weather is good, everyone wants to sit outside. It's incredibly loud and you almost have to shout at yourself if you want to chat with your companion. It is therefore totally uncomfortable and exhausting. Prices have also risen a lot. But food is delicious.

I can't rate anything more than the service. We wanted to sit outside, the employee was just setting up and asked us to wait half an hour? So setting up meant putting down place cards, cleaning the tables... we then sat down in one of the free seats because after hours on our feet it was nice to sit down too. He came over and said in a flippant tone: "I haven't given go yet." We then informed him that we could eat somewhere else and that it wouldn't be a problem if we just sat down. He replied: “You can also wait 15 minutes.” We are now spending the money elsewhere. I know friendly staff is hard to find, but the sound makes the music.

Went to your place with our 2 year old daughter around 9 p.m. on May 29th. Waitress made us feel unwelcome. We changed the order slightly again. Waitress was annoyed because she had to change the order. Finally, our daughter showed her glass to her colleague and said that it could go straight into the trash. Her colleague threw it away and laughed. Glass was smeared and of course it would have had to be cleaned. Still got a tip, but left it on the table. I gave it to her again personally. No thanks. It's a shame because the food and the location were great. We come from Frankfurt and are otherwise treated nicely at your chain. It was a shame because we also left a lot of money with you and it was our last day of vacation.

L'Osteria simply remains the pizza (chain) in Germany where you can get the best pizza. Quality is always top and the size of the pizza is always special. In terms of taste and ingredients, you can hardly find anything better! Always unreservedly recommended! Tip; You can also share the pizza and order 2 different toppings if the portion is too big for you.

The hostess was so rude and unfriendly, I've never experienced anything like that before. Other guests in front of us had the stroller at the table, we were also given the table but were not allowed to put our stroller next to it. She had such an arrogant false attitude. Has said a stupid thing to every guest. That's totally wrong there! And after reading a few reviews I immediately knew who they were talking about... Well, the food is fine, I don't have to make it again. Everything is brought individually without any real order. Dessert was disastrous, we cannot recommend it at all. It's overpriced now anyway. Everything is cleared straight from the table, even if you are still eating and taking a short break. My son was still there and the waiter just wanted to take the plate away from us. They wanted to get rid of us straight away. Not very inviting. Even the beautiful view doesn't help with the hostess.

Three weeks ago I gave it 5 stars. Since I always rate fairly, I have to revise the old rating. We reserved a table outside. Upon arrival we were informed that there were no reservations for outside. You have to accept it. We should speak to the lady in charge outside. We waited at the bar with warm white wine. It was only replaced after three complaints. The barman thought we should throw in ice cubes. The spaghetti with asparagus and salsiccia had 5 slices of asparagus about 1 mm thick and a few pieces of crushed salsiccia slices. See photo. Actually 0 stars but 2 stars because of the friendly service. We won't be coming back.

Unprofessional service. Cisnik dropped his colleague's head while delivering the pizza and they mowed. Afterwards, no one apologized properly.

All in one super Nice waiters/waitresses quickly tried to find a place for us, despite the fact that it was very full. We waited for about 5 minutes and then had something. Delicious food L'Osteria 😅 Gladly again !

Lovely restaurant with an amazing view over the harbour! Food was really good. Service could have been better, waitress seemed uninterested.

Good food, incompetent management. We reserved a table in the restaurant especially for our JGA and asked for a small decoration to surprise the bride. According to previous email contact, nothing was a problem. Ben and Maxim confirmed the request to us. Disappointingly, we were disabused when we arrived. Nothing prepared, nobody informed. The lady in the pink blazer seemed to be in charge that evening, but left us with the words "Ben is not here" and "I'll get my employee for you". This employee then did an egg dance around our table the entire evening and, when spoken to directly, verbalized his entire unfriendliness with one sentence: "You are very low on my list of priorities!" . The next priority seems to be to have conversations with colleagues at the bar. Just cheeky. Is this the way you treat customers? I mean, sure, we still ate and drank. The money was safe for you. It's a shame, a short apology and an offer of a solution would have been all it took to make us happy again quickly. This absolutely unprofessional behavior, especially from the person in charge and the colleague "Maxim", is simply bottomless. The colleague who served us at the table, however, was the absolute opposite: friendly and very attentive. So: if you don't have any special wishes and are lucky enough not to come across Maxim or the incompetent boss, you can spend a really nice evening here.

When it comes to customer service, some employees unfortunately still have a lot of room for improvement... We were assured in advance in writing that the table would be decorated to suit the occasion. Unfortunately, when we arrived we found an undecorated table. When we asked, we were told by an employee, who we later found out was the team leader there, that she had not given us any assurances of this at all because it would hardly be possible. Not very effective. She apologized, but no solution was suggested. You could send us the employee who gave us the written confirmation. He did not come. We asked several times when he would come to us. The end result was that this employee actively avoided our table the entire evening. When we were able to speak to him briefly after an hour and a half, the following statement came, and I quote, "You are currently at the bottom of a priority list." We were just stunned. The small discount we got on the bill didn't help either. In short: We will definitely not be coming back!

May 14, 2024 approx. 6 p.m After many years of loyalty, I am now really disappointed! On a beautiful sunny day with a few friends, I wanted to visit my favorite restaurant “Losteria Hamburg am Fischmarkt” and was treated absolutely cheekily and bottomlessly by the manager. Questions were answered in a snippy and derogatory manner. She also sends a couple over 70 years old away on the grounds that they make enough money and don't need them as customers. (This couple only sat down in one place because there was a sign at the entrance that said: if there is no reservation sign on the table, you can sit down). A bottomless impudence!! When the food arrived after a wait, the mood was already at its lowest point. And the food too! What a sad departure for the once nice and cozy family restaurant Losteria! None of this takes away the view, never again!

We wanted to spend a nice evening on the terrace of L'Osteria this evening, 5:50 p.m.... And the nightmare began... You can enter the terrace of L'Osteria from the Elbe side. A sign at L'Osteria said: If you find a non-reserved seat, please feel free to take a seat... We then found a non-reserved table. .. Unfortunately, we were extremely rudely asked by a waitress/seat lady if we had registered...we hadn't, as we had entered the restaurant from the side of the Elbe and the sign invited us. The lady forcefully asked us to leave the place and register at the entrance, waiting time would be 20 minutes, then she left... Quite irritated, my husband went to the sign, which still said the same thing we had read... When the lady stood in front of us again a short time later, with two guests in tow, she said rather harshly: I was serious, please leave the place and register. We then drew her attention to the sign that said yes, you are welcome to sit down, whereupon she then went to the sign, turned the sign around and said to us: So now it says, register at the entrance, and now you are standing please get up and leave the place. I was left speechless for a moment by such impudence...we then gave in and left, but not without asking the lady if she didn't need to earn money? To which we got the answer: No, it's full enough. We were outraged by this kind of cheeky, impudent behavior Sound annoyed and will probably not visit the restaurant again. Other guests in the restaurant just shook their heads in surprise at this.

We didn't have a reservation, but despite it being a port birthday, we got a spot after a short wait. The pizzas are huge, but you have the option of eating a pizza together and having each half have a different topping. The food was delicious and the service was quick and friendly despite the crowds. The next time we visit Hamburg, we'll be happy to come back and try to get a place on the terrace, where you can have a nice look at the ships on the Elbe.

Dear Team, We were with you today at the beginning of the harbor birthday to celebrate your birthday. 5 people pre-ordered. Unfortunately, we have never visited such a bad Osteria establishment. Neither at the Winterhude market nor in the city of Hamburg (Hohe Bleichen) Not only did we have to wait an hour for our food, but we also got completely different pizzas. As an example: One lady wanted a vegan/vegetarian pizza and got one with ham and salami on it. Or the birthday child doesn't get any artichokes or olives, even though that's exactly what was ordered. The service man and the chefs are completely overwhelmed. Very disappointed, a shame.

Seriously good italian restaurant. Good food, polite staff and good prices. The pizzas there are no joke. Also the size... 45cm Across... huge! Would come again

It had been very nice here. Although we didn't make a reservation, we were able to get a nice seat at the bar counter after a short wait. The food was great. Huge pizza and a great salad. It's nice to be able to look into the open kitchen. Service was top. Gladly again.

Positive: Location and view of the restaurant Negative: we had a special occasion and written agreements were not adhered to. After the 4th (!) conversation with the manager, we got a €20 discount for 9 people. Her statement before: “I’ve already apologized 1000 times, what else should I do?” We had to smile because the solution was so simple and we had already made appropriate suggestions on our own. The manager then wanted to send the employee who had not kept the agreements to our table and make him stand up for it. I think it's totally wrong to treat your own staff like that! I felt very sorry for the waiter and avoided our table because he was clearly uncomfortable. Unfortunately, the toilets were also unkempt. In 2 of 3 toilets there was no more toilet paper that evening, the empty rolls were scattered across the floor. When ordering, a pizza with the wrong topping was brought to the table, again incorrectly, and the others were almost finished with their food. The restaurant was very busy. However, I don't think it's nice when there are crowds standing at the bar with jackets etc. and constantly looking at you while you eat. Overall, I will not visit this branch again. I'm used to a completely different quality and service from other L'Osteria locations!

Hello dear L'Osteria team, I hope you are well. Unfortunately I had a very disappointing experience in your restaurant today. When I inquired over the phone I was told that the wait for my food would be approximately an hour and the conversation was then abruptly ended. Despite several attempts to visit in person to interview, I was not given an appropriate response. It's a shame to see how customers are treated and I hope such incidents can be avoided in the future. Best regards

Gastro system with a schmuddle ambience. Glasses, dishes and cutlery - all a bit dingy. A look at the ceiling speaks volumes. Dust and spider webs everywhere you look. But!!! A nice view of the harbor. A good address for the Jack Wolfsskin day tourist. Bon appetite

I can recommend it :) the pizza was super tasty and huge, if you can't make it you'll be offered to have it packed straight away. The view is great, in summer it's worth sitting outside but then with a reservation🥰

Once and never again! We were there for the first time yesterday. The location is very nice and well located but very, very noisy. We got a table by the window without a reservation, which was very nice. We ordered pasta and lasagne once. My friend got his food first. I had to wait ages for it. Since we wanted to eat together, my boyfriend was of course waiting and so his food was cold. I had the lasagna... something like that has never happened to me in a restaurant!!! My food, which came ages late anyway, wasn't thawed in the middle! It wasn't lukewarm but simply ice cold! The taste was nothing special but it was ok. So then she went back. It was then probably simply warmed up in the microwave and returned cut. My friend's cold noodles also tasted completely bland. After we talked about it, the manager came. We left the restaurant hungry.

There were 6 of us there on a Saturday evening. The service was great - very friendly and accommodating. We kept asking for unanswered wishes and the drinks came very quickly. We shared the appetizer platter in advance - very tasty!! Otherwise we all ate pizza, classic l'osteria pizza style - everything was good. The ambience is great because of the location, but it is very loud and in our opinion you should have quieter/slower music playing in the background. That was a bit too loud and tiring for all of us.

Never again. Poor quality, not customer oriented

Everything is beautiful, the service is fast and friendly. Spaghetti with zucchini and shrimp is delicious. The pizza was a bit dry and the vegetables were not cooked through. The drinks are great. Delicious prosecco. We were satisfied. There are high chairs for children. I couldn't find a changing table. Available with strollers.

The seven of us had an excellent meal and were served in a friendly and very good manner. Thanks to the whole team. Keep it up.

We ordered 2x bruschetta, 2x tortellini and 1x pizza. After 1 hour, 2x tortellini arrived. 2x bruschetta and the pizza were forgotten. Now I have 2x tortellini for 15€ each and find a ridiculous 9-10 tortellini per portion👍🏻 now I can order again somewhere else and wait again so that we get full. Thanks, I guess?

Wonderful place, right on the water. A special pleasure to sit on the terrace and drink and eat something delicious. The staff, especially Kadir, are a joy to make you feel good. The furnishings inside with tasteful, cozy differently furnished corners, the open kitchen looks very inviting and there is a beautiful view of the water and the beautiful harbor buildings everywhere. And particularly important as a tourist, the toilet rooms, a surprising pleasure with acoustic aids for learning the Italian language. A superbly implemented concept from A to Z. Went there today with two adults and two children after a strenuous day of sightseeing: Huge, delicious pizzas, fast and friendly service, convenient quick payment via the website, leftover pizza packed up - what more could you want? Full recommendation!

Really good pizza & pasta! Staff & service varies from ok-friendly to super attentive & very friendly. Short waiting time, great location. Recommended for: everyone.

The waiter who was responsible for our table was incompetent and half-hearted. Constantly ignored and passed us by. Was somewhere else but not at the tables. We had the rest of the pizza packed up. He simply folded it up and put it in a paper bag, which I only saw at home (see photo) but unfortunately the whole thing no longer looked appetizing. He could have kindly cut the pizza that had two different toppings in half and wrapped it on top of each other so that it doesn't mix. Really very disappointed with the service.

The food was top as always. The staff was nice and quick. However, it is far too loud when the store is full. A cozy dinner is different.

Friendly Yummy Clean Great ambience

We decided to go out for dinner one evening. The restaurant was in a good location. Everything went wonderfully. The prices are still quite good. The food came relatively quickly and the size of the pizzas is excellent. The staff is very friendly and happy to give you advice.

Unbelievable, the view, the quality of the food, friendly service…….and the pizza is really awesome, they are just huge…….we were able to get a table without a reservation, you should do that better, the tables are on the windowsill perfect, great view of the harbor…..thanks to the team

As always, super delicious food, nice atmosphere. Our service employee Kadir was particularly excellent. Super friendly, super quick to enter our order, still time for a photo despite many guests, super quick on the move, super organized.

We had reserved a table for five people on Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. On site we were told that our table would be ready shortly and that we should just wait “shortly”. It was a short 30 minutes during which we were simply left standing at the door. Half the shop was empty - but we weren't allowed to sit down there because a larger group had reserved for 8 p.m. Why we couldn't sit there temporarily remained unanswered. Even when two tables for two next to each other became available, we were not allowed to sit there. Our reservation was skilfully ignored. The previous time our drinks were first forgotten and then the wrong ones were brought to the table. In addition, it is still extremely loud in the restaurant. The food is always delicious, but the low quality of service means that I prefer to go to other restaurants.

Mega location, really great views of the Elbe when the weather is good. Always eat the XXL pizzas, thin dough but as big as 22 inches! Tastes good and service is also attentive. You get what you expect. Parking on the weekend is a disaster. Oh yes, the soap is the top burner, I can fool myself. 😉
