L'Osteria Fürth Rudolf-Breitscheid-Straße in Fürth

Astonishingly poor service in an otherwise lovely Osteria. If we're in a hurry, we like to go to the Osteria and have already visited a few, for example in Nuremberg, Bayreuth or Bochum. We always go home very satisfied. This time it was a little different. As always, the food was very good and the prices were reasonable for the large portions. We were able to accept the somewhat cramped rooms - somehow the restaurant has a certain cozy charm. Unfortunately, the service here was poor. Even the seating took quite a long time - despite reservations - as apparently a single person had to run the place. The order only took about 20 minutes, it took even longer for the food to arrive and by the time we were finally able to pay, the 2 hour time slot that was scheduled for our reservation according to the internet was actually almost over. We're not used to it and we're so early that we were able to make our subsequent appointment at the Fürth City Theater just in time. Perhaps there was a wave of illness among staff or other exceptional circumstances? We just hope this wasn't a standard evening here.

I had a wonderful evening at L’Osteria! The pasta was excellent – ​​fresh, perfectly al dente and with a delicious sauce that simply tasted like Italy. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff were very friendly and attentive. I felt completely at home and can recommend L’Osteria to anyone who wants to enjoy authentic Italian cuisine in a relaxed environment. Definitely coming back!

Everything is ok but no positive atmosphere

Unfortunately, it happened to me for the second time that we had to wait a long time for the food. When we came yesterday we had reserved a table at 6:30 p.m. We should then take a seat at the bar first. We should order drinks there in advance. Which was completely fine for us up until then. After a while we were led to the square. Here we waited again until we were allowed to order, but the drinks we ordered at the bar were not included anywhere. So we ordered these again. Shortly before 7:30 p.m. we asked the waitress about the food, saying that we had been there for almost an hour and were waiting for the food. She then informed us in an unfriendly tone that we had only been waiting for our food since 7 p.m. She checked the system and half an hour is completely normal in a restaurant. We told her that we had been there since 6:30 p.m. and had to wait for a table and to order. We found the behavior more than outrageous and anything but hospitable, that instead of an apology you are then lectured. Unfortunately, this is the second time I've had this experience. I wasn't served very friendly and we had to wait at least an hour for our food. If, like us, you still have an appointment (cinema) afterwards, L'Osteria is definitely no longer recommended. After we didn't tip for this service yesterday, we were no longer wished for a nice evening. As a long-time regular, I am more than disappointed with this service and will definitely cancel my reservation for a party with several people in 2 weeks.

A fantastic evening at L’Osteria! The staff was extremely friendly, attentive and looked after our well-being with genuine warmth. The food was a dream - the pizza was nice and thin and crispy, the pasta was fresh and aromatic. Everything was excellently prepared and made with high quality ingredients. The stylish, cozy ambience immediately transported us to an Italian holiday feeling. Special requests were also fulfilled promptly and friendly. Overall, a perfect experience that we can only warmly recommend. We are already looking forward to our next visit!

The food is wonderful, the pizzas are huge - you can also share a pizza between two people. Longer waiting time until the table was cleared by the previous person, the service was a bit overwhelmed with the rush in nice weather. High noise level in the restaurant.

The pizza was very big and good. I combined two different coverings, which was possible without any problems. Very friendly service. We were there at lunchtime when there was little going on. The food came quickly.

Pizza tasted like nothing. They ate outside. Apparently no spices... Quite tasteless. Ate the pizza outside so ordered takeaway. When it was empty I brought the cardboard box in and asked them to throw it away. No. Don't throw them away. You have to throw it in the trash somewhere outside. I don't call it service when I order pizza, and after I've eaten it means they don't throw away the cardboard from the pizza. Which is just a minor point. But if the food doesn't taste good...

Fantastic pizzeria! The pizzas are huge, just the thing when you're really hungry. I had a pizza Tonno and it was just perfect - plenty of toppings, juicy tuna and a super crispy base. The taste was excellent and the dough was nice and thin, just as it should be. I'll definitely be back!

The visit to the pizzeria was a complete success. The large vegetarian pizza was crispy, with fresh, crunchy vegetables and perfectly melted cheese. The service was friendly and quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant and cozy. Price-performance was also right – a great dining experience!

The last time I was here was 6 years ago, but I would still like to give my review. Price/performance was great here. With pizzas 45cm in diameter you can't say anything at all given the price. The waitresses were all super nice. Please note that the rating is current as of 2018.

The parmesan is systematically forgotten here and the pizza would have needed another 5 minutes as it was almost raw.... You can see in the picture that the pizza is still (cheesy/light). I can't say anything about the ambience.

Sehr leckere große Pizza Super Salat Die Pizza konnten wir uns Teilen das diese sehr groß war. Bedienung super freundlich, hilfsbereit etc. Kleinkinder in Restaurant kein Problem, genug Platz für einen Kinderwagen.. Tolles Ambiente, mit ruhigen Ecken Sehr nettes Personal.
